When we converted to gas from oil I had 3 companies come and give estimates. Michael, the owner of Advance Plumbing, was far and away the most informative about the process and the equipment, and their price was very competitive. Once the gas line was brought to the house, they were on the job promptly. Our house's plumbing caused there to be an issue with air in the system and they responded immediately to fix the issue. We were extremely pleased!

They helped with the Oil to Gas Conversion. Michael, the president of Advance Plumbing if I’m not wrong, who first came to my house and gave me the estimate was very responsive and gave me all the information I needed before making my decision to which company I wanted to used. He did explained everything about the equipment I needed and the ones on the market, the pros and cons. I didn’t received such information from the other companies I requested estimates from and that made me feel more comfortable and decided to go with them. The office lady named Nicole was very responsive to all my calls when I had questions and concerns and always greeted me with respect and a very friendly manner. The guys who came to my house and did the installation were very professional, communicative and friendly. They knew what they were doing and always gave me the right answer when I asked them. They removed all my old heating equipment such as the oil tank, furnace and eletric boiler, cleaned and organized after they finish the job. They were there on time for the inspections done by my city and gas company Eversource. I didn’t have any problems throughout the installation at all and will be using them for my needs in the future. I highly recommend them!

While my first experience was negative, I felt it was important to give another plumber a try. This time Advance sent Joey, who was excellent, polite and worked around the others in the house quite easily and with a positive attitude. He gave us outstanding service, and I recommend anyone other than John. Joey was terrific!!!

I had a leak down into our basement that I was having difficulty finding. Finally discovered it came from either the dishwasher or the sink. When I removed everything from under the sink , I discovered it was definitely coming from there, everything was soaked. I called Advance Plumbing and they sent someone out within a few days (it was not an emergency). This was a couple of days before Christmas. Greg quickly discovered it was the faucet hose that was torn and leaking. I was given a few choices for repairs and chose to replace it with a faucet he had in his truck. Unfortunately the faucet he had was a little different than every other fixture in my kitchen. I needed one that was "brushed" instead of shiny silver. Greg took the time to call his office and was able to have a coworker go to Hartford to pick up a faucet that would be better suited to my kitchen. I feel he went above and beyond to get what I needed the same day, right before Christmas. The new faucet was easily replaced and works great. Greg was very professional and did a great job. I am very impressed with the work they did for us . Michael came and looked at the project and told us it is complicated but can be done . His staff at the office always courteous and friendly . The staff who cane to do the installation of dishwasher / blue sink / gold faucet / garbage disposal / new gas line to the cook top and connection/ copper pipe for ice water . Advance plumbing and heating provides excellent service always. Ive used them multiple times for repairs, service and general plumbing needs. They're polite, professional and super responsive. Example- called last night because my water heater went out, answering service took my information (not an emergency) and they called me first thing this morning before 8am. Gave me a 2 hour window between 10-12, called me when technician was on his way (within that window), and technician called me when he was on site diagnosing the issue. When the technician finished the repair (within an hour), he called me back and took payment over the phone. Everyone I spoke with couldn't have been more friendly/helpful and the communication over all was unmatched. Thank you Advance!

We highly recommend Advance Plumbing. We have used their plumbing services many times for both big and small projects and have never been disappointed. Their staff is courteous, thorough and always clean up their work area after they have completed the job. In addition, they always provide an estimate and answer any questions we have before starting a job. Our latest project was installing a sump pump in our basement due to the larger amounts of rain that we received over the past couple of months. Our basement was flooding constantly for days and it was tiring trying to pump the basement on our own. We had to cancel or come home early from two vacations due to the flooding. We asked Advance Plumbing if they could install the pump before the arrival of Ida and due to the herculean efforts of Nicole, Mike, Spartek and Flori, the sump pump was installed in time and we did not get any water in our basement! We are so grateful to Advance Plumbing for giving us peace of mind!

I have used Advance Plumbing for multiple concerns big and small over the past few years. I have found all their technicians knowledgeable and professional. Everything has been fixed to my satisfaction. There are no surprise charges. The estimate is the cost. The administrative staff that schedules appointments are friendly and responsive. During COVID I especially appreciate the technicians are tested weekly for their protection and mine and come wearing a mask. I am very pleased.

I used Advance Plumbing to convert from oil to gas heat. When he came to do the estimate, Michael, the owner, was the only one of the four contractors I interviewed that actually listened to what I wanted instead of telling me what I had to have and he designed my system accordingly. The fact that the price was very competitive was the icing on the cake.The guys who did the installation, Nick and Victor, were great. They were friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable and meticulously neat and best of all, they showed up when they said they would be there. If it were possible to give more than 5 stars. I would do so. Since I first posted this review 6 years ago, I have used Advance Plumbing for multiple projects from replacing a radiator and both toilets to replacing a faucet and doing the routine servicing on my boiler. It’s alway a pleasure working with these guys, all o whom are friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. The ladies in the office are also a pleasure to deal with. A special shout out to Joe who recently replaced the shower in my claw foot tub. It was a challenging job and he stepped up admirably. He didn’t mind my kibitzing and made me laugh while he worked. It's been about 3 months since our oil to gas conversion, and we are so pleased with how everything came together. The crew was prompt, professional, answered all of our questions, and did an awesome job installing all the new equipment. Even the cleanup crew that came did a great job and made sure not to damage anything while they were removing the old heavy tank and boiler. On top of the wonderful professionalism, they were also prompt to help us stay warm by providing us with oil up until our installation so that we did not have to negotiate partial fills with oil company. This plumbing company was so responsive and professional. We are in the process of selling the house a a few things came up during a home inspection. I called them and up and they essentially were able to come ASAP. We called over the weekend and the technician was awesome on the phone. He suggested that we had the job done on a weekday so that we were up charged for a weekend fee. He was able to come on Monday and was very honest and professional. I feel like these are one of the few companies that do their job because they love it and does what needs to be done. Thank you so much for your help today! The guys at Advance Plumping were awesome. Michael came on site to give us the estimates and right from the beginning I knew he not only knew the ins and outs of his products but that he cared about the customer being informed without any extra fluff. I had a substantial leak from my previous system that warranted the gas boiler changeover work being done as fast as possible. They got the paperwork together quickly and we’re ready to start within a week. The crew that came to do the install was efficient and knowledgeable and took care of everything and left my basement in extremely clean condition after removing the old heating system. Prices are extremely competitive and the service going along with it left me feeling like I made a great decision in this company.

A few weeks ago we had a tree root breach the main sewer line to our home. I called Advance and they not only cleared the drain for immediate use and completed the larger repair within a few days, but they also worked with me and my insurance company to to insure I got the repairs covered. Beyond that, they also helped me with the cost of my insurance deductible! I’m absolutely speechless at how the people of this company genuinely care about their customers. I was worried that my 2 outside faucets were leaking and causing my water bill to increase. John from Advanced Plumbing came by and checked both faucets and the inside pipes. He said they were in good shape and he even showed me how to monitor the water neater. John also gave me a quote for new faucets should I decide to replace them since the house is older. The service was great with both John and the people I spoke with on the phone. I will call Advanced next time I have a plumbing or heating issue.

Mike and his team installed the gas line for our pool heater. They coordinated with our pool contractor, explained what I needed to do with CNG, and pulled all the necessary permits/filed the build order with CNG on our behalf. Despite the fact they were called short notice, in the middle of winter, with lots of bad weather hampering their ability to complete the work, they got it done quickly. I’m no plumber but you can tell they did the job right/top notch. They even had the inspector there to sign off right when they were finished so the pool contractor could backfill the trench immediately before the next round of snow that night!

At the end of summer 2019, we knew we had to replace our gas efficient combi boiler (heat + hot water) after 15 years. We requested 2 HomeAdvisor quotes/appointments. 1 did not show up; the other canceled. Then, we requested 2 Better Business Bureau quotes/ appointments. 1 came but did not provide a quote. Advance Plumbing & Heating, Inc. gave us a detailed written quote in 2 days and scheduled the work soon after we signed the contract & gave a minimum deposit. We had a burst pipe in the middle of the night. I called them at 7:30 am and they came within 30 minutes to diagnose the problem. I started a remodel of a 1763 Barn and a little bit newer servants quarters in Windsor Ct. I needed a good Plumber and Heating Co. Asked the Zoning inspector for the town he said Advance. I called and within a Day I had two men come out look at what i had Roughed in a week later I had my estimate 2 weeks later Chris and helper were out and had it roughed in . And started on a major replumb of existing old and leaking kitchen sink drain,toilet shower. Then came the heating and Air conditioning work to be done. All this work done very Professionally All their Workers are very caring and helpful And especially very precise and neat and cleanup after themselves i would give them 5 sets of 5 stars. Super friendly on the phone and in person. I used them for some plumbing a couple of years ago and was very satisfied. I didn't notice until almost 2 years later that there was a slight issue with the work completed. One call and they were out to the work site in less than 12 hours and remedied the problem with a joke and a smile. The owner of the company called me back within an hour to assess what would work for our home and located a special tank within a few hours. By 4:30pm that same day, we had a new hot water heater installed. I cannot say how appreciative I am for the quick response, and for Mike's follow up to answer all my questions and make sure I was happy with the product and the service. We had a bad problem and it was all fixed on the same day I called for service. A vertical pipe that was intended to receive condensation from our AC became a fountain whenever there was a heavy rainstorm. The water would gush up a foot high out of this vertical pipe. Advance Plumbing and Heating installed a special valve that would be pushed shut by any water coming up from below but would open again later so that condensed water could again flow into the pipe. For good measure, the pipe was lengthened so that the condensed water would have trouble filling it up when the valve was shut below it. That very night we had heavy rains and it must have worked because our basement was completely dry for the first time in years. We never realized that that pipe was the source of our basement flooding until about a month ago, when I saw it happen.

Arrived on time, masked up. Joey installed a Smart House water shutoff valve that monitors water usage for both major and minor leaks, shutting off the water in the case of a major leak. He was efficient, competent, and pleasant. He was also patient - waiting my a bit for wifi even though that isn't the plumber's job.

Overall experience was excellent. We had requested a call when the tech was enroute and they phoned ahead as requested and arrived in a nice new professional box truck in the time window expected. After scoping out the issue with our blocked sewer drain, they very thoroughly quoted a fair price that included clearing the drain with a 4" blade cutter and then a video camera inspection. We had some concern that our pipe would be damaged and irreparable and they assured us that, where that to be the case, they would do a video inspection that would help us identify where the problem resided...and would only charge a portion of the fee for their time spent if they were unable to clear the blockage. We ended up being in luck, however, and they were able to clear the blockage and chase it all the way to the main sewer line. The tech still carefully did a video inspection to validate the integrity of the piping and pointed out a few potential risk areas on their professional equipment while I watched on the video screen (it was like a medical-grade video!). Additionally, they hosed down the area in the basement where the backup had occurred and cleaned it up and sanitized with SimpleGreen. The technicians were professional, intelligent, and friendly, I couldn't have asked for a better, more professional service!!
