Why call anywhere else? Had a serious AC issue. Canfield was able to fit me in the schedule quickly. The office staff was helpful while arranging the service call. Lane got right to work and the machine up and running much faster and cheaper than others quoted. He answered all my questions with a smile! If you need any plumbing, ask for Karl, he's one OF and their Best! Canfield is top on customer service!

My previous furnace servicer was too busy to even return my calls after weeks of calling him on a concerning noise from my furnace. It worked fine so it wasn't urgent, but I just wanted to get scheduled up, so I called Canfield and they had me scheduled within a few days! Came out on time, fixed all my issues, and the bill was very very fair! Service tech was respectful to my wife while I was gone to the Dr.s with my daughter, and my furnace is working like new

The whole team, from front office to each technician were very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Joel explained several replacement options and quoted them, finally deciding to replace a boiler with a combi-boiler, replacing our water heater with it. It took a little longer to complete but the team stuck to task after 5pm until we were operational; the whole time all were pleasant and committed to getting it done, right! Answered all my questions, followed up the next day to make sure all was right! Great service, very professional team!

It was on Christmas morning. No heat. We called, they called right back and Greg said he was at another job, be there in about an hour or so. Upon recommendation I called Canfield and the service man arrived within a short period of time to fix the failed fire pressure switch. We've hired Canfield for a variety of plumbing projects around our house, and every time they've left us feeling highly satisfied. Every person we've interacted with has been friendly, transparent, and professional. When our sewer drain started backing up at 11pm the other evening, we put in an emergency call and they arrived within the hour and had us flowing again within another half hour. When the drain started backing up again a week later, we called them back. We weren't happy to have the sewer backing up again so quickly, but Canfield warranties their work. They arrived within the hour again, and their technician Luke was incredibly thorough in making certain our lines were clean. He went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

Christmas Eve my dad’s heat went out during a blizzard. His driveway wasn’t plowed and impassable. After being turned down elsewhere I called Canfield. They sent a plow out and fixed his heat. I have used Canfield several times since moving to Lowell. First was when my furnace went out in February. They loaned me space heaters when we discovered that my old furnace was too dangerous to repair and needed to be replaced. They installed my new furnace and ran gas lines when I switched over from propane to natural gas. Since then, I’ve used them for plumbing fixes. They just came out today to repair my hot water heater. They are always responsive and professional. I like that they are local too. I highly recommend them.

Dryer vent relocation through the wall of the home. Dan and I walked through the issue, he listened very well, which is the first step to any relationship. Then we had a couple agreeable back and forth upon suggestions, again he was making me feel important and first and asked me my thoughts and opinions which is huge and not often done with service. He then did the job and then showed me the finished product and advised me further on how to handle the last touches I would handle on the dryer hose connection. I am extremely satisfied, would recommend using Canfield again.

I liked that they did not waste my time with sales tactics - the inspection took 10 minutes (I knew my old ones needed to be replaced) and the tech emailed me the quote about 20 minutes after he left. These guys are great! We had a furnace issue during the coldest night of the winter (so far). They sent a tech out as soon as possible. To our dismay, our furnace was beyond repair. The initial tech gave me a ballpark price for a new furnace and it sounded very reasonable. They got a crew out to replace our furnace as soon as possible. Our road and driveway was VERY icy but the techs were great sports about it. I even rolled out the red carpet for them to avoid falling on the ice (see the picture). They did great work on the furnace despite a few hiccups due to the placement of a clean out drain. We also needed a new thermostat which hadn't been accounted for. My thought was "oh boy, it took longer due to issues from the design of the house AND we needed a fancy new thermostat, this is going to cost a fortune"..... NOPE! the price was EXACTLY what the initial tech told me a few days prior. I was shocked (in a good way!). Greg really knows how to do right by the customer, he and his crew have earned my business for all future projects. I would not hesitate to recommend Canfield.

I've had Canfield Plumbing come over to fix two different issues over the past year: Once to fix a list of minor things (leaking pipes, faucets, valves, fridge ice maker connection), and another time to replace my broken old water heater on short notice. Their price estimates have been right in line with other plumbers for the items where we sought multiple quotes. We needed a new water heater and shortly after we needed a new furnace. Both were around 20 years old and were past their life expectancy. Both were still working, but we wanted to replace the units on our time schedule. We were quoted reasonable prices for each and the work was completed with no complications. We were very happy with the service and the people who made the installation. When the service people were done, they cleaned up the area and you wouldn't even know anything had happened. We were very happy working with the Canfield people. As a footnote, we have used Canfield for a large number of years at two houses and have never been disappointed.

We used Canfield plumbing today for the first time and had a great experience. We just had a new kitchen sink installed and needed to get everything hooked up and reconfigured underneath for the plumbing, including new shut off valves. Will, our technician, did a great job, was friendly, easy to work with and got everything done in a timely manner. What I was really impressed with is that Canfield does not try to gouge you with varying pricing levels based some sales scheme like other plumbing and heating companies do now. They actually charge you based on the fair cost of parts, labor and time on the job and nothing more. What a novel idea! Canfield just secured a loyal customer!

I was having issues with my furnace and AC so my home warranty company assigned Canfield Plumbing and Heating to my service request. They were willing to work with my schedule and communicated with me on when the technician was on their way. Both times they were early which was okay with me. Canfield came out to repair/replace my hot water heater. Was quoted thousands more by competitors and they started off trying to repair rather than replace. Saved me money and fixed the problem. I’ve hired Canfield twice now for unrelated plumbing issues and, in both cases, they did an outstanding job. Most recently, I was having issues with a whole house sewage ejector pump. The technician was very quick, very professional, and he patiently answered all of my questions. A less scrupulous plumber could have easily convinced me to just replace the entire pump since that would have made them more money. Instead, he went above and beyond to properly diagnose the issue and save me some money. 10/10 will hire again.

I had another great experience with Canfield. Our water heater was over 20 years old and on it's way out. Rather than waiting for it to leak, we called Canfield to replace it BEFORE it was an emergency. They came out within 48 hours and got it replaced with a brand new unit. We recently had a grinder/lift kit break on a very busy day. We had guests over and were leaving for an evening event so the timing was critical. I called early in the day and spoke with two staff members about coming out. The staff members were extremely professional and took the time to explain pricing and how things worked. I appreciated the extra time they took to talk about the job. As it turned out, Canfield was completely booked that day. They told me that there was a small chance that they might be able to fit me in late in the afternoon if everything went right. I was pleasantly surprised when my phone rang at 4:30 pm. Canfield was sending someone out asap to do the work. Again, a professional member of their team explained who was coming out and made sure we were happy. The work ended up being wrapped up in about an hour. The employee kept me updated and was also very professional. I can't say enough positive things about this outfit. I had issues with my furnace leaking water after it was installed Canfields came out and repaired the cracked drain line for my A/C and offered to pay for any damaged ceiling tiles and to pay for any clean up. The mess wasn’t that bad so I declined it takes a great company to offer to pay for things like this. I will use them next time I have any issues that need repaired you can’t ask for better service.

I had an excellent experience with Canfield Plumbing recently when they diagnosed and fixed a problem with our 14 year-old Rheem tankless water heater. Larry was professional, knowledgeable, and honest. His original diagnosis was that three burner tubes needed to be replaced. They ordered the parts and provided an estimate of $495. When he came back to replace the parts, he determined that only two of the three burner tubes needed to be replaced. The job total was $365, significantly less than the estimate. I could not have been happier with the quality of his work but his honesty in only replacing what was needed was the very best part. This was my first experience with Canfield Plumbing but now I will be a customer for life. Thank you.

Had furnace problems with system not firing up properly. Alex came out to my house and cleaned all sensor, thermocouple and change the air filter. Now my furnace is working how it should be. Just wished he checked the thermostat to make sure it was set right. Witch led to me having to make unnecessary calls and embarrassed my self. We had to work with our home warranty company (American Home Shield) to get another company out to service our drain stoppage, but within minutes of being assigned to Canfield Plumbing & Heating, I received a phone call and a plumber was at our home in 30 minutes. Wow! But that's not all! Not only was Kory prompt but he was also thorough, professional, and caring. Daniel came to the house because I didn't have heat. Upon arrival , I lost part of my power and Daniel couldn't check out the furnace. He did the best he could under the circumstances and was very friendly and professional. He did good. Still had problems with the furnace, so called and Lee came out. When he came, the furnace was running so Lee lpchecked a hose and there was a hole in it so he fixed it. A couple days later or so had problems again. Larry came and of course when he came it was really cold in the house. He went through checking everything possible and couldn't find a problem. Larry was very honest with me and we discussed whether to get a new furnace or not. I decided to get a new furnace and Larry got it arraigned to get a new furnace the next day . Mark, Craig and Alex came the next day to put in a new furnace . They were so nice and funny but very professional . They ran into a major problem, but took the time to come up with a good solution for me. They put in a new furnace that day and Lee had to come the next day and put in a new hot water heater. These guys were FANTASTIC and I had a lot of fun with them. I would suggest Canfield anytime anywhere!!!

Told them what gate valve they would need to replace ahead of Service call. Plumber showed up with wrong gate valve and had to go find one at ace hardware. He Came back to site and did a great job but the extra 3/4 hour was charged to me for their mistake and gate valve ran $48 instead of the $30 quoted. Total bill was $233 or $83 over estimate so I believe i paid for their mistake. 5 star for work and 2 star for billing process.
