We needed several cartridges and angle valves replaced as the faucets were dripping. Submitted request through our home warranty company and they assigned Chas Goering. The appointment was scheduled promptly, the plumber came to diagnose the issue and once the parts arrived, they came back to install everything. Very happy with the service! Thank you!

I appreciated that Chas W. Goering Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling prioritized installation of a new water heater on same day. We'd already waited 2 days without hot water before the initial plumber said they couldn't do it. Other services quoted wait times of 1 week to 3 weeks!

Our basement was plumbed for a bath but the original builder did not seal it properly. We called Goering and they quickly got us on the schedule to repair the gasket, which involved tearing out concrete, replacing the seal and then pouring new concrete. The employees were very respectful and neat. Goering also replaced a valve on our main water line that was causing a knocking sound-we were very appreciative of the extra time they took to correct that issue. Would highly recommend Goering Plumbing.

Very Professional, organized, and actually came by to do a bid. Other local contractors wanted to charge for a bid even if i didnt work with them, or give a price without even visiting and not be willing to discuss. Once the work was complete, they were able to itemize and bill transparently on the spot. No "let me go back to the shop and we'll calculate how much in a few days and send you a bill". As a tradesman myself, I'm very impressed, and will absolutely use them again.

They did what they said they would do. The bill was $1862.01 for six hours at $155 plus parts and dirt work. Half way through the job I requested they put the dirt I had removed back into place and they brought out the equipment to do it and were flexible per my needs. The Fernco couplers were very expensive, but it's reasonable to make a profit on parts. The only things I didn't like were that I asked for the crew to call me and they didn't, and they had to sit for fifty minutes waiting for one of their crew to show up and I got charged for that, but otherwise I'm very pleased. I don't mind paying more for high quality work. There is a one year warranty with the repair and I will be checking it out closely just before the year's up, but I don't anticipate any problems. I would recommend them.

They do amazing work. The plumbers know what they are doing. I thought I had a leaky pipe above my kitchen ceiling , the plumber determined it was the bathtub faucet leaking, and causing the wet spot on my kitchen ceiling. I was so thankful he identified the problem and did not hastily open my kitchen ceiling. They also replaced a leaking pipe in my garage ceiling. Quality of both repairs is stellar.

HVAC installation went well - the technician was professional, knowledgable and completed in a timely manner. The process of getting the necessary rebate information completed & provided in order to submit to MidAmerican was lengthy (6+ months) and the response back was slow or required me to call to inquire about. Which made the overall experience less than 5 star.

If you ever need a professional, prompt, efficient and fair priced plumber in the DSM area, just call Chas W. Goering. I called Chas on a Sunday evening asking for their earliest availability to help fix a few leaks and restore our gas service. Got promised a morning appointment and a plumber arrived at 8:30 on Monday. 2 hrs later, Brian was done with pressure- testing the pipes and fixing the leaks . They were very accommodating and worked with us and the gas company to help restore service. We no longer need to look for a plumber or HVAC company. From now on we'll be calling Chas for all our plumbing and HVAC needs . Thank you Kevin & Brian for a pleasant experience!

My furnace went out and the pipes froze resulting in broken pipes. I had a different company out first and was raked over the coals with price and they left before the job was done. My friend recommend Chas W Goring and I wish I would have started with them! Owner came out and accessed my situation and quoted me a fair price. He sent 2 technicians out 2 days later and they spent 9 hours in my home fixing the pipes. The technicians were professional and worked efficiently. The communication from the office was fast and efficient and I got my receipt for the insurance the next day. This company will be my first call for any future plumbing repairs.
