Highly recommend BILL Rhiner’s Plumbing. NOT Wayne Rhiner plumbing. Had a water heater installed. Got a fair price quoted over the phone so no surprises. Plumber found a few minor things (replaced an old valve) and fixed them at no additional charge. They just wanted the job done right! Really appreciate them being efficient and on time. Ed was the lead plumber was was extremely professional and made sure I understood the mechanics of the new water heater. This is a well established business with a great reputation for great work and fair pricing. Highly recommend them

Story time. I originally had a company come to service my HVAC and they wanted to replace everything.. it was only 8 years old! They wanted to take advantage of me and charge $6,000. Then I called Rhiner pluming. Casey came a day later and serviced it. He shot straight with me and had excellent customer service. He knows what he's doing and he didn't make me feel like a sales quota. If you want an honest company go with Rhiner. A++ Job.

Needed a plumber to repair a shower control knob. Rhiner's sent out a plumber the next day and Ed did a great job. Not only did he repair the control knob, but he also clean out the shower head, removed the regulator, and increased temp on tankless to raise water temperature. So, now, our shower is not only working properly, but we have more pressure and heat!

He communicated well with the parts supplier and helped me select good replacement faucets to coordinate with my bathroom decor. So not sure where our initial review landed, but my hubby and I wanted to say that Rhiner’s Plumbing not only provides fabulous service - they will actually let you know when their services are not needed. We had a toilet that was leaking crazy, so we decided to “bite the bullet” and have a new one installed that would cost $600 and change. After the Rhiner’s tech arrived and did the initial inspection, he informed us that we simply needed a new bolt kit and water line which was ridiculously cheaper than the initial toilet we ordered. He would go ahead and do that if we were agreeable. What??????? There was a company out there that would put the consumer ahead of their profit line???????? Ummmm yes, please and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only was “Ed” courteous and cheerful, he was willing to speak the truth and promote honesty in a service transaction. MLK day two years ago, I was home for the day, and noticed our furnace was not working. It was a frigid cold day. A friend of ours had a neighbor, Ted, who worked for a plumbing and cooling company, so they came over to take a look. He said the furnace was in bad shape, and told us how to get it through the night. Ted worked for Rhiner's, and set it up for us to have a new furnace installed the very next day. Today we had a new hot water heater installed by Nate and Keith. Same friendly service. They explained what they had done, and how to adjust it if necessary. From that first day two years ago, Rhiner's is the only company we call for all our heating and cooling needs. I feel they are an honest business and their employees are always pleasant and knowledgeable, from the office personnel to the servicemen. I will continue to use them in the future and would highly recommend them to others.

I used Rhiner's Plumbing for a replacement sump pump and install a battery backup. My technician was Vadim Garbuzov and he was very thorough and knowledgeable individual. I was told that it would take approximately 3 hours for installation, but he completed it in about an hour and a half. I even had him move the box for the battery back up away from the basement window and he gladly completed that task. I will be sure to be calling Rhiner's Plumbing for any plumbing work I may need in the future. I am completely satisfied with his work.

Water heater was on the fritz and called Rhiner's to see what the issue was. We ended up needing a new water heater and process couldn't of been any more pleasant. The best thing a company can do for a consumer??? Save them a LOT OF MONEY!!! That’s exactly what Rhiner’s Plumbing did for my hubby and I ;) We had a pretty substantial leak in our master bathroom toilet, so we were ready to “bite the bullet”, and replace it - to the tune of over $600! Omg!! As luck would have it though when Ed our trusted plumber arrived, because of his total honesty concerning our plight, we found there was no need for a new toilet - we only need a new bolt kit and water line. Yes Ed could have installed we had ordered, but instead he explained to us what the actual issue was and offered to repair as opposed to replace. Seriously, who does that anymore? Who is willing to put the consumer first ahead of the almighty dollar? Russ came to our rescue today with our toilet that wouldn't stop running and fixed the bathtub by replacing the stopper and cleaning all the gunk out of the drain. He was even kind enough to pick up a new toilet seat for us at the hardware store and installed it (because I'm just not that handy) He gave me several tips on taking care of some of these things myself and was super friendly! I love that we just called them yesterday and they gave the window frame of 8-11 and was here just a little after 8. I had a toilet making a running noise occasionally, so I had Rhiner's come out to look at it. Of course the noise didn't occur when the technician was here, so he checked the toilet and didn't find anything to be wrong with it. The noise persisted and increased in frequency over the next couple of weeks and Rhiner's came back out to fix it and add a new part all at no charge! Great customer service.

I want to start by saying, “if you’re looking for an Amazing plumbing experience, if there is such a thing, do yourself a huge favor and choose Rhiner’s Plumbing, Heating & Cooling and request Vadim!” Here’s the “Why”..... I own a home remodeling company in Texas and have been in town remodeling my parents master bath. We chose a free standing tub on a second floor installation and for those of you who know, free standing tubs look amazing but are fairly difficult to plumb. We got everything put together (4-5 times) and could not get rid of a pinhole drip. We were referred to Rhiner’s by a family Friend. I called and was lucky to not only get an afternoon appointment, but won the lottery when they sent Vadim G. He called to inform me he was 23 minutes out. He showed up and was super professional and almost calming. He was on the phone with a Teammate and said he would be done in 30 minutes. He lied, he was done in 20 minutes! Again Choose Rhiner’s and request Vadim!

We always call Rhiner’s when we have a home problems because we know they will be timely, reasonable, and professional. This morning we awoke to a very cold house. I woke up at 3:30 a.m.on a January Saturday morning to discover that my furnace wasn't working. The outdoor temperature at the time was 0 and the indoor temperature on my thermostat was reading 41 degrees. I and my pets were cold, but even more importantly, I was concerned about my pipes freezing if I did not take action quickly. I have been a regular customer of Rhiner Plumbing, Heating and Cooler for a number of years, so I called Rhiner and their answering machine provided the emergency, weekend phone number and clearly spelled out the weekend and "after hours" costs that I would incur. I called the answering service, and within 10 minutes I received a return call from the service person on call: Jake. I described my situation and requested a service call. Jake again reminded me of costs, and I okayed the service call. Jake arrived within 30 minutes and set to work evaluating my furnace. (I will mention that my furnace is older than 10 years and another Rhiner service person had conducted a fall service call in November.) Jake determined that the furnace required a new inducer, which I had suspected when I did my own inspection and knew that part felt very hot to the touch. He informed me that he would look for the part in Des Moines and hope that he could find it locally, however that business did not open until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Jake helped me set up my one space heater and departed about 5:00 a.m. By 10:00 a.m., Jake was back at my front door, and luckily with a new inducer. By 11:00 the part was installed and my furnace was up and running again! My pets and I were on the road to getting warm again on a very cold Iowa weekend. The entire process of working through this weekend emergency with Rhiner and particularly Jake, was professional, caring, attentive and reflective of high quality customer service. This kind of situation is never fun, or without it's costs, but it needed to be solved quickly and professionally, and that is exactly what I experienced working with Jake and Rhiner.
