Great company. I have used them several times and have always been pleased. I do have a preferred tech which is Nick. He has been to my home several times, always wears shoe coverings, and is very friendly. I have had 3 faucets, 2 toilet resets, and a new line to the refrigerator installed. Customer service has always been friendly and worked around my schedule when I had new flooring installed. They scheduled to remove toilets and then came back the next day to reset them. I’m pretty picky and they did the job I wanted and didn’t try to oversell. I will use them to have a new sump pump installed when the time comes. They are reasonably priced and have always arrived on time. They are my go to company.

She then asked if I would like to proceed with the work, which I did. She was so efficient and I was very impressed with how quickly she had my sink back up and running. My experience was great- everyone was so friendly and the work was done in a super reasonable time frame. Although there was a miscommunication on the cost of the service it was likely my own fault as a new homeowner who is not familiar with pricing of these types of services. My only suggestion would be a written estimate for the service when scheduled at the initial inspection etc., would just be helpful for spacey folks like myself. I know the price of the service is worth it regardless! Elaine was super patient with me as I figured it all out and I appreciate that so much.

Had two fill valves and flappers installed. It was not what the guy expected at all. Our particular toilets he had to take tanks off to replace these. It took a bit longer, but he got it done. I have used this company for several things. Their pricing is a little higher, but they do good work. What isn't in this climate. Their costs are higher on their end I am sure. I would recommend!

BEFORE (pedestal sink) IN PROCESS (other pictures) AFTER (vanity) went with discount drains despite the fact I couldn’t find many reviews about the company moving the plumbing drains for a renovation. They moved the plumbing from the right side wall to the center wall (around 5 feet of plumbing). Knowing I needed to patch the dry wall myself, they were kind enough to offer coming back to install the new vanity once I finished the dry wall. This was great because I didn’t have to try to figure it out after everything was installed because I would have no idea how to drywall once my new vanity and sink were put in. Definitely recommend!!!! They get you on the schedule quickly and will spend as much time needed to ensure a job well done.

Tim V. Was very nice and professional. He introduced himself when he arrived. I live in a mobile home park so it is hard to find a plumbing company to assisted with mobile home plumbing. He took pictures of the problems and informed me they were not my issues but the mobile home park I live in. He sent me an invoice with the pictures and exactly what is going on with the plumbing. The estimate and the work were quick and well done. Technician Trevor provided a good estimate via FaceTime and he clearly understood the scope of the work. Technician Noah was scheduled within days of the estimate and completed the work in a couple of hours. There were no surprises and the estimate = the final cost. I can't say enough great things about Discount Drains and their tech Dustin Smith. We called them because our kitchen drain was clogged in the wall, not in the trap. They sent someone to our house to check the issue and provide a quote. The price was very reasonable. Once Dustin arrived, he determined that the issue was far worse than originally expected. It appears that our 1979 house had 40• years of grease built up in the pipes. The drain was so bad that Dustin had to come out the next day to finish the job (we had an appointment to attend to). The best part was that in spite of all the extra time needed, they honored the original quote! We will definitely call them the next time we need a plumber.

We worked with Gage who came to our house and provided a quote for water heater replacement. We chose Discount Drains after receiving a comparable quote from another provider. Shortly after engaging Discount Drains, the installer, Taylor. came to the house. He did a superb job with the installation and was very helpful in explaining the installation process. As the water heater he was replacing was 17 years old, it took awhile for the removal and then installation of the new hot water heater. The water heater installed is a commercial grade water heater and built a little better than what would be purchased at a box store, and thus a little more expensive, but hopefully, built to last longer. Taylor did a great job with the installation and also did a good job explaining what to look for and how to relight the gas water heater, if for whatever reason, the pilot light would go out. The job took most of the afternoon and Taylor was very respectful and professional while he was here.

Rick came the same day to complete the job and was friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. I originally called Eco Plumber and after their $111 visual expection, we didn't learn anything we didn't know and was asked to pay additional $356 to continue the inspection by cutting the drywall and their plumber didn't have a clue when the leak was. Discount Drains charged no inspection fee and was able to find the leak efficiently and didn't charge a fee to cut the drywall either. The cost for the reapir was $463. The Eco Plumber estimated $546 for the same repair. Discount Drains was $463 total, where as the Eco Plumber would have been over $1000 with all the additional fees and inspection cost. So glad I went with Discount Drains!

I cannot say enough great things about Discount Drains! We had a leak in our main water line and needed a plumber to come out the same day. I called around to several companies and Discount Drain was the only one who was able to come out the same day. I called at 11:30am and by 12pm someone called to FaceTime us to view the problem and diagnose. Within 30 minutes of the FaceTime, a plumber was at our house and fixing the problem. They were professional, thorough, and extremely responsive. 30 minutes after the plumber was done, a water restoration professional was at our house to give an estimate on fixing the water damage. Each time a person came, I received a phone call and text notifying me of the name of the person, a picture (so I knew who was coming), and a brief biography about him. Two days after the main water line was fixed, we ironically had another small leak in our upstairs toilet (unrelated to the first issue). Again they were extremely responsive and professional and fixed the issue. We ended up deciding to replace the toilet and have them install the new one. They were so quick to respond and always very responsive and knowledgeable and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Discount Drains! I was extremely impressed with their services and will never go back to another plumbing company again.

Discount Drains was great to work with. We were having issues with the sink and tub drains in our bathroom. They were able to provide a free estimate using video chat and were able to come out the same day. The tech was very professional and was able to get the drain running. He let us know that unclogging would only be a temporary fix since our pipes were galvanized and corroding from the inside and would eventually need replacing to prevent more clogs. They were able to provide an estimate on the spot for replacing the pipes. We had them come back to replace the pipes and the techs that were out were great. They were on time, explained everything they would be doing, showed us everything they did once they were finished and were very polite and professional. This company was very knowledgeable and experienced at my detailed job of replacing and repairing a pipe underground. They dug up my yard, with professional machinery, repaired the pipe, clean out remaining roots with a heavy duty power machine, that went out 80 feet to city line, added a main drain for future problem, replaced dirt and cleaned up their mess. They were very kind and explained the process to me in a professional manner. I believe they can handle any size job. We live in a 100 year old home where plumbing seems to have been pieces together over the years and what we thought would be an easy DIY task to replace the waterline to our refrigerator turned into an impossible feat! I hired DD to replace the shower faucet in my main bathroom. It required way more work then I thought as I had bad valves and some piping issues. Sam walked me through the entire repair so I felt comfortable and knew what he was doing. My shower is excellent and that pesky leak us gone. He was efficient and very polite. The Generator had not been working, Generator company said it was gas piping issues, old plumber who did original hookup and subsequent maintenance refused to accept that – but Discount Drains immediately identified several problems with existing gas plumbing, re-piped the gas feed, and surprise – the Generator fired right up and ran for the first time in months. We had Tyler, the manager come to our house, initially to do an estimate of a whole house humidifier. However we found out that the furnace had been leaking. Tyler then helped suck the water out at no additional cost. On the second visit, although he brought the wrong type of humidifier, he promised us to fix the issue and install the humidifier. He also fixed the furnace leaking. This type of customer service is what should be most appreciated. They went above and beyond, never gave up, always seeked ways to troubleshoot. Although it took a few visits, they not only installed the humidifier, but also discovered the furnace issue and fixed it. Not to mention the service was affordable! I would recommend Discount Drains.

AC went out on 4th of July and I called a 24/7 service company as my normal HVAC person not in. The 24/7 service tech spent 15-20 minutes looking at my unit only to tell me I need a new $3000 compressor. I of course was shocked! There was really nothing I could do but get through the heat and think next step. The next day Discount drains was recommended and I actually was fortunate enough to be worked in the schedule!! Joe came out and found not only was the compressor perfectly fine and there was a cut wire and the capacitor was wired in wrong. He was able to fix it and my AC is working perfectly!!! He took his time to explain everything he was doing and provided some helpful tips. He replaced the check valve with a Zoeller check valve and that fixed the problem. It was under the warranty. I was very happy with Discount Drains.

They only get 4 not 5 stars because to clean up the sewage on the basement floor, they had to send out another guy, and the price was super high for that. I did the cleanup myself. I understand why they want that much, but that was a lot for a relatively small area.

They did a great job! We had another firm come out to snake our drain....they left and our drain immediately started to leak. The company that caused the leak couldn't locate the leak. Then we called Discount Drains. Bradley came out and was able to locate and address the issues. He was really knowledgeable and helpful. Also, considering the amount of labor and parts we needed (old lead pipes, decomposed system, rusted out, etc.)...the cost was not as bad as we thought. Would definitely recommend and use in the future for all plumbing needs.
