I used Kay Plumbing to replace the leaking copper pipes under my house about 7 years ago and they were beyond fantastic. All of the pipes under the house had to be replaced. They advised me at that time, I would probably need to re-plumb the upstairs at some point and sure enough, on Nov 2, 2022 watering began pouring from the ceiling in my kitchen. Matt from Kay Plumbing came out right away to do the repair. Today they completed a re-plumbing job on my entire upstairs. They had to cut into my downstairs ceilings and second floor walls to replace all my water pipes. Matt and Carson went above and beyond to cover everything with plastic, protect my floors and cleaned up thoroughly before they left. I am completely satisfied with their quality of work, their professionalism, and the cost. I am definitely a loyal customer and will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future. They guarantee all their work.

Called for a plumbing emergency. They responded quickly even on a Saturday morning and holiday weekend. Palmer explained what was wrong and what they would do to fix the problem (sewage back up in showers, clogged drains. Yuck!!). My daughter’s hot water heater went out on a Thursday evening. That night I left a message for Kay Plumbing to request their help getting a quote to repair or replace it. I received a call the next morning before 8:00. By 8:45 Jon and Kalix arrived to determine what needed to be done. By 9:00 I had a quote for replacing the water heater and they were on their way to their shop to get a replacement. By Friday afternoon they were done and my daughter had hot water again. Everyone I dealt with at Kay Plumbing, from the office staff to the plumbers, were fantastic. Jon and Kalix did an outstanding job installing the water heater which was very difficult because it was in the attic. Additionally Kay was also over $1,300 cheaper than a quote I received last year another area plumber when we had some work done on the same water heater. I definitely have found my “go to” plumbing company.

I have recouped that cost this year in "visit" charges, and it can get you moved up in priority for service. Recent super-cold weather and busted pipe issue was handled a bit faster than otherwise because of the service plan.

Horrible Christmas with cold freezing pipes "inside" my office building and my home hot water heater tank cracking and leaking water all over the place. Kay Plumbing came and replaced water heater and fixed four pipes at my office. As long as the pipes hold and the water heater continues to work, I am completely satisfied with Kay Plumbing. Austin, who came to our home was awesome. Our well pump we later found out was damaged beyond repair because of that horrible December freeze. Austin was so professional and caring. We didn't have water for 2 weeks but he was able to repair our well pump after figuring out what was wrong as it was a lot. We had a new pump put in and Austin was there all the way. Kay plumping should be proud of this young man and the care and professionalism he did for my husband and I in putting in the new pump. My family woke up on Christmas Eve and discovered that we had a frozen hot water pipe under our kitchen sink, we thawed it out, and realized that the pipe had cracked. I call several plumbing services and Kay Plumbing was the only one who returned my call. They had many emergency calls ahead of mine, so we scheduled the service call for that following Monday. Their plumbing Technicians arrived on time and were very knowledgeable, they assess the damaged pipe and repair it, unfortunately the repair didn't hold and they came back out on Tuesday to reasses the damaged pipe realizing that the existing pipe was frail and had hairline cracks that ran under our homes concrete slab. It was determined that they'd need to reschedule the repairs for Thursday where they would need to remove parts of our kitchen sink cabinet and jackhammer the slab to gain access to the broken pipe. They arrived as scheduled on Thursday and within 3 hours they had removed parts of the kitchen cabinet and jackhammered the concrete slab and repaired the bad hot water pipe and actually relocated the Coldwater pipe to minimize the possibility of it freezing with the next had freeze. My wife and I are very pleased with Kay Plumbing Service and their highly trained technicians, and we will be using them again for all of our future plumbing needs!

The additional $225.00 was for 1 hour of labor, which included sitting in the service vehicle while writing up the estimate.

Long story short I had a water heater burst and water damage. The Restoration company that I chose called in Joseph to do something for them and while he was there we asked him to take a look at our issue. Joseph was very thorough in his examining the problem and after several other quotes and turning down the plumbing company that my home warranty company sent out I decided to go with Kay plumbing services to do my installation, which... I switched from a tank to a tank less from my attic to the side of my house. Joseph is awesome he and Peyton came and literally took me step-by-step through the process if he had any questions he asked every step he showed me and it was just awesome I would recommend them to everybody Morgan at the office is great she has kept me up on everything and I so satisfied. I don't think I could ask for anymore I really really appreciate this company I know this is what they do for a living but with my situation and all I really really appreciate them thank you Kay Plumbing Service This time Matthew and Victor were my technicians. I called about a loud humming noise by my toilet. They came out we went over what I thought was the problem Matthew and Victor checked everything surrounding the area of the noise inside and out. Matthew discovered an issue with a loose gauge and another small leak but also realize once he actually heard the sound it was not a plumbing issue it was my AC and also gave me advice on what I should do for that. I agreed to them making the repairs for the three issues that they found because my water pressure was a little high nothing dangerous and there was a small leak and that gauge needed to be fixed overall I'm highly satisfied with not only the work but the interaction and the overall turnout

They were quick to respond, diagnose and remedy the problem. Unfortunately my sewer issue is due to a city problem, that is backing up to my property. Kay did what they could to buy me time. They are not the cheapest solution, but they are thorough and explained everything every step of the way and were very courteous and timely. Great communication, even with delays they let me know. I’ve been in the middle of a major house renovation, and something I’ve quickly learned is we get what we pay for and you cannot put a price tag on open and honest communication. Spending a little more on the front end with a service like Kay, will save more on the back end.

Kay Service plumbing techs were early and found the problem, quoted me a price and, after finding a bigger issue, managed to fix it without charging extra because I simply did not have the extra money for the job. I understand inflation and the need to raise prices, we had the money to cover the initial quote, but not the price for the extra work needed, so I'm glad they found a way to do the job without resorting to doing what was needed.

Matter of fact I have the Gold plan with them which. is good.The plan cuts all cost down to little or nothing out of pocket and also , overall cost. Also overall when you have a plumbing issues, the rep is very considerate in really resolving all issues and reassuring you that Your plumbing issue will get taken care of . I also like that they make themselves accountable and be on time when you make an appointment with them. They even give you a courtesy call before they arrive at your home. I was expecting to get services the next day but Kay literally sent a tech to my home the same day! The technician was very professional, honest, clean, groomed well, detailed and precise. Update: Management came to our home and found the issue. Charged over $1200 for nothing. First plumber said when we got out the tub and water leaked from our bodies causing it to seep through the floor slowly. All BS. The the leak occurred again 3 days later, charged a second emergency fee. When we were told by Carlisa Thompson that there would not be a fee. Same leak in the same area the previous plumber cut an hole in. Now I have to wait for the quality control manager to call me on Monday and pay additional fees for them to come back out.

Briton was amazing! Our tankless water heater stopped working and we had a competitor come out first. They were trying to charge us $700 initially and then tried selling us a whole new water heater. It's only 3 years old and still under warranty! Briton was professional, honest and extremely helpful. This is not the first time Kay Plumbing has come to my rescue when water has spewed forth: first time on Christmas Day and October 8, 2019, and now on June 25, 2032. Today it was my toilet causing a leak under the floor. Colt came and quickly found the problem, did all repairs as well as raised the phalange to the proper height. Such a small thing that was installed incorrectly had big time effect on water damage to sub flooring. Did all work to code and explained everything to me. On October 8, 2019, my hot water heater regurgitated all the water to the second floor. I had a new water heater installed and brought up to code in less than 24 hours. The plumbing team worked well with the water mitigation team and everyone got their tasks done in a timely manner. I ask endless questions and Barrette answered all. Kay doubles their general service fee for emergency work on Sunday ($100 instead of $50). They disclosed this before I committed to the job and I was fine with paying the extra fee. However, they also charge extra for whatever services they end up providing. A $270 job costs $405 on a Sunday. The 1 hour job I needed ended up costing $504!!! Also, the office was nice enough to call me 8!!!! times the following morning to collect payment. Their online payment did not allow me to pay by phone the previous day. I rent this house out and I am in a different time zone so these calls all came at 5:00am. One call and a message would have been sufficient. In all, I think it’s clear to see that Kay is focused on one thing, $$$. They fixed my problem but I wouldn’t seek them out for further service because of their unannounced price gouging on Sundays and their unnecessarily persistent office staff. Edit (in reply to the company’s response): -Calling 8 times in 29 minutes is unprofessional, whether or not you knew the time zone. Leave a message next time and let your customer reply to it as soon as possible. -You did not disclose that your prices for work would be inflated because of the Sunday service until the repair technician was already on site. You only disclosed that the initial service fee was $100 instead of $50. I would have lost $100 for your service charge and wasted both or our time if I had decided not to pay the increased fee. If you are going to attempt to reply to unhappy customers you should focus on addressing the facts of that particular situation instead of providing canned statements used elsewhere in your company’s google profile responses. They come off the same way that your customer representative handled my call, disingenuous. Accountability is part of good customer service.

On a Sunday afternoon in earliy May, the outside faucet on the back of the house fell off WHILE the water was turned on full force. Though I had never used Kay Plumbing before, I had heard of their reputation. I called and, after only two rings, a live person answered. It wasn't an answering service; it was a Kay Plumbing employee. I explained what happened, that I had no idea how to turn the water off, and that water was flooding our back yard and seeping underneath the house. While I'm freaking out, Jennifer calmly took all my information, fully explained the service-call charges I could expect, and assured me that a technician would be at my house within 45 minutes. The technician who showed up (in only 35 minutes) was professionally dressed, and I was thrilled to see "Master Plumber" on his shirt. I hadn't expected much more than some "weekend guy" who would shut the water off and tell me that a real plumber would need to come back on Monday. Instead, he turned the water off immediately, showed me why the faucet came off (poor installation), put a new one on and actually secured it directly to the brick (it had originally been glued in place), and inspected the other outside faucets to see if they showed signs of imminent failure. He showed me how to turn off the water should a future emergency occur, and even made an adjustment under the kitchen sink (at no additional charge) where we had a minor issue. This wasn't my first rodeo. I know professionalism and quality workmanship when I see it. If a plumbing problem ever arises at our house (or my office) again, I'll go no where else but Kay.

Had constant problems with my plumbing concerning leaks due to acidic water eating away the metal connection fittings. To fix the problem the whole house needed to be re-piped. Kay Plumbing did the work and finished the job in a little less than 2 days. I also had them replace the water heater because it was 18 years old and getting close to it's life expectancy. Was very little interruption because we stayed here while they did the job. They did the job for a very fair price. I was very satisfied with the job. Always professional. This was actually the second job that they did for me. Months ago I had another water problem that was traced to a ruptured bladder in my water tank. They also replaced the water tank in a few hours. I just needed a bolt to be removed. It was a difficult bolt that had rusted on my old faucet to the kitchen sink. I expected the sink to be scratched since they had to saw the bolt off. I did not think that my crystal figurines would fall off the window sill and break. I also didn't think my back splash would be gouged. These accidents might be expected, but I think they should have at least been acknowledged (maybe even apologized for).

Last Friday we came home to a plumbing catastrophe. We initially called another company, and they assured us they would be out to fix the issue in a few hours. An hour before end of business, ON A FRIDAY, they call to tell us they can't come, and not sure when they would be able to come the following day. However, all it required was a plunging with a plunger to unclog both toilets. Kay still charged me the $225. I was very disappointed and felt like as a valued HPA customer the service charge and "repair" would have been much less. The serviceman suggested I invest in a PLUNGER to save money. Konrad replaced my tankless water heater this week. In 8 hours from our call he was able to arrive onsite, diagnose the failed heat exchanger, work with the manufacturer to get the warranty approved, pick up a replacement tankless water heater from a wholesaler and install. He was very professional. His enterprise had great technology to let us know when he was enroute and onsite at our home to do the repairs. Had a major leak (more like a flood) with the supply line to my tankless water heater , outside my kitchen, which was flooding the crawl space all under the floor and walls. Called Kay Plumbing after 5:00 PM on 6/19/18. Explaned the urgrnt situation to a very plesant and anxious to help lady, who promised a serviceman by 10:00 PM and sooner if possible. She called back within about 29 minutes to say "due to the degree of emergency you have, we have a service man who will arrive at your house within 29 minutes. Within the next 30 to 45 minutes he had completed the repairs and we once again had hot water, with the flooding leak I had called about, repaired. Anyone wishing to have confirmatio of Kay's determination to do a good repair can call Kay, ask them for my phone number, (permission herein granted to release my phone number as stated) and I will give the caller(s) my detailed experience with Kay. Their total cost for the work was reasonable, under the circumstances. Plus, they have a Maintenance program that is very cost saving with free water and drainage inspections. I highly reccomend Kay for everyone's plumbing needs.

EXPLAINED WHAT WAS GOIN ON WITH MY SHOWER ON THE THIRD FLOOR, QOUTED ME A FAIR PRICE AND GOT TO WORK....AND I GOT TO WORK ONTIME!!! ONE PLUMBER I CANT REMEMBER HIS NAME WAS WORKING AND ALSO TRAING A NEW EMPLOYEE, THEY HIRED THE RIGHT NEW GUY HE WAS NICE PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL.
