Very pleasant experience. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Turned out that the hose needing replacement on my kitchen faucet was something that he did not carry stock. Instead of coming back when the part got shipped (and obviously the costs involved) he asked me if I'd be comfortable installing the part my self. He showed me what needed to be done and showed me the part I needed to order form Amazon. Got the part that same day and installed it myself - saving me the cost of having him coming back out. Thank you Chris !

Jack and Will were terrific - very responsive. I thought I had a huge problem but did not; they fixed a leak in our upstairs bathroom very quickly and efficiently. We went through the house and they explained some of the things that need to be done and gave an estimate; they're coming back in a week or so. Great service, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Of course the water heater went out on the Friday before a holiday weekend. Left a message on their VM and first thing Tuesday morning they were at the house replacing the failed unit. The crew was in and out in under an hour. Prior to the service call I received an email with the photo and bio of the service technician coming out to do the work. Nice touch! Highly recommend.

Excellent service. Had a new AC unit and condenser installed after the old one quit working when it was 93 degrees outside. I must have called 10 different companies to find someone to come out as quick as possible with them all telling me 1.5+ weeks out before finding Robert Bair on google. Robert Bair was there to give me an estimate the next day (Thursday) and installed early the next week (Tuesday), which was all done before all the other companies said they could even do an estimate! Employees were pleasant to be around, in good spirits, clean, and professional. Would highly recommend them to anybody

I am Very pleased with Robert Bair Plumbing! Fantastic customer service with Darlene! The first plumber did a nice job; almost perfect. He did miss something that shouldn't have been missed causing a leak, but I e-mailed Robert Blair and a different technician was out the next day. He too was courteous and finished the job. I'm pretty sure we have a long-term plumber! I will definitely call them again for future jobs! It's a shame that customer service is lacking in a lot of businesses these days- But Not here! Once again Bair Plumbing exceeded expectations. Chris DeLuca responded to our home to re-install the disposal, faucet and dishwasher after a countertop replacement. He and his assistant were able to get the job done even though it looked a bit complex at first. This is the third time Chris has come to get the job done. I called to replace a faulty outdoor hose bib faucet and to add an air chamber to stop the hammering of a hot water supply pipe that another plumbing company's crew had modified when they removed my water softener because our Lake Michigan water needs no softening, Jason and Ernie were available the same day and promptly fixed my problems. They were very helpful and efficient, did great work and clesned up after themselves. Robert Bair plumbers are usually available on the same day that you call to schedule work and always do good work that completely addresses my plumbing jobs.

We've had Bair come out to our house three times now to help us work with our 20+ year old HVAC system. One time was for investigation into if our humidifier was functioning, another time was to check to see why our blower sounded like it was short cycling, and the most recent was to see if why our AC unit just stopped running. We've met with Dave and Mike from the team, they've both been fantastic and have been really helpful in keeping us up on what's happening. We are first time home owners and my fear is being taken advantage of for not knowing enough, but each case the guys have been extremely helpful. We are looking forward to working with this group when we make the decision to replace our system. Update May 2022: We made the choice to continue with Robert Bair when we decided to replace our whole HVAC system this past winter and water heater - both were at end of life. The whole team has been fantastic they did great work on the install and adding a wire so the HVAC system worked better with our nest thermostat. 99.5% sure we'll be continuing our business with this group for our HVAC and plumbing needs.

I called Robert Bair this morning my hot water tank pilot would not lite. Ben was assigned, he was ontime extremely professional. Started to work, with in 20 minutes pilot was lit. We have been using Robert Baier Plumbing, Heating and Air condition for years. We had a new furnace installed with new duct work a few years ago and an A/C unit installed this summer with additional duct work as well. We recently contacted Robert Bair on September 26 2021 for what we thought was a clogged sewer line. We then learned that the line had shifted at the foundation of our house causing a major repair. Robert Bair sent Adam Kleich and his assistant line technician to evaluate the repair. Adam Kleich and his assistance line technician were polite, professional and courteous as they explained the steps necessary to perform the repair. They had also made contact with our village inspector to assess that the repair met with village code. The repair was completed in an expeditious manner and they thoroughly cleaned up when the job was complete. We highly recommend Robert Bair Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone who needs this type of service! Great people, great job!

I had a lot of questions about installing a new sump pump and backup system, and Steve patiently and graciously talked me through the options to find the correct solution for my application. His help was very valuable! They were able to fit me into the schedule in a timely manner. In addition to the sump pump, we needed a toilet seal replacement. However, during disassembly, the technician pointed out a concern that made it necessary to replace the entire toilet. I was impressed that they were able to have a toilet brought in from their warehouse so that the repair could be made in the same visit. I also appreciated the technicians taking the time to broadly assess the plumbing in our home as part of their preferred customer plan. They gave helpful advice and recommendations, and it was great education for us! I’ve had great experiences with Robert Bair, and I highly recommend them!

While we had several months to wait for parts (due to sourcing and Grohe manufacturing-still missing one handle) RB was timely. However, when the installation required a tool that the technician didn’t have, we were told that it would be readily available within days. When I called about 3 weeks later, I was told that the only note in my file was regarding the handle. Apparently, no note regarding the special tool was attached to my file, so I was not contacted when it arrived. After that was taken into account, everything was fine. We have used RB for over 25 years and continue to be happy with the company.

I cannot say more about this company - they have not completed the work yet BUT the professionalism they have shown thus far in the process I have not seen in a long time. They are very responsive via call text or email. They sent a picture and description of the plumber coming to do the work. The plumber was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all of the intricacies in my old house and last but not least no one was able to beat their price. I would recommend them in a heart beat!

Hearing that Robert Bair is the best in town, we hired them when I moved into a home that had a VERY dated A/C unit. The home inspector said it was likely 30+ years old and was going to be a major project to break down and clear out, especially given the size of the unit and how narrow our basement stairs are. The company provided great consultation on the type of system we needed. They took out the old unit and installed the new. They also provided a great overview on how to connect the system to WiFi, change the filters, and conduct routine maintenance. While they were at it, they patched up some old ductwork and did an outstanding job with that. Great service, great quality products, and great company! I definitely recommend them.

I have used Robert Bair Plumbing since early 80’s. We just had them come to our condo to install a $325.. dish washer from ABT. Replacing an existing older dishwasher. We also need a water faucet replaced because of a small leak. The charge was $1900.00! $360.00 for valve and $1600.00 for dishwasher install. I wasn’t there I was traveling. My wife was shocked at price. The valve was replaced NO Choice. The dishwasher was not installed. The price was just short of a Felony!!! Taking advantage of people is unconscionable! Shame. I will never use them again. You should not either. I’ll install it myself. Teflon tape, 3 channel lock pliers attach the drain level max one hour. I will share this on social media weekly for the next 16 weeks. $100 a week seems about right for my time and their wasting our time. Additionally the tech offered a senior discount. Sounded like he realized my wife would not be taken advantage of. They don’t deserve any stars. Just a a dirty plunger😡

Mark and John were awesome! We previously had a plumber come out who was not at all on the ball. Mark initially came out and explained what he thought was happening. We had a weird sudden low water pressure issue that wasn't common. He and John came out to do the work and made our water pressure better than new and in less time than we had thought it would take. We have used bair a few times. They have rodded out our main sewer line a few times. Tree roots keep getting in there. One time we had some sewage backing up in our basement and they could not get it figured out. Kept rodding it out but nothing was working. He went to the alley and found the main sewer manhole was all backed up. Probably numerous homes in the area getting sewage into their basements. Anyways, he told us to contact the sewer district and get reimbursed. We paid over 600$ for that visit because they were out there for numerous hours. The city reimbursed us. Plumber worked hard until our issue was resolved. Great service.

I can give an unqualified recommendation to Robert Bair Plumbing, Heating & Air. My water heater failed on Tuesday afternoon. I called them on Wednesday morning at 8:30 am. The water heater was diagnosed, failed part replaced and repaired before noon. Jim, the serviceman was the consummate professional. We had a sewer backup during cold weather and over a holiday. When I called for help, I was told someone could come the following day which was fine with so many people having problems with the cold weather. A plumber, Joe, and apprentice, Jack, showed up on time and explained what they would do and the cost if they do not find further issues. They were both very nice, personable and professional. They fixed it fine and cleaned up after themselves. I would call them again (but hope I don't have to).

I had my furnace cleaned by Robert Bair. After I began experiencing difficulties with the unit. It took two return calls but we figured out that the problem was coming from the Nest thermostat and not the furnace. Even though it was stressful worrying what had happened, I was very satisfied with the speed in which they sent technicians out and the professionalism. Additionally they didn't try to charge me for the re-calls since the unit had been working before the cleaning. My only comment would be that they might need to mention doing a re-set on your thermostat after cleaning, since the newer thermostats have some issues. Would definitely recommend though.

Woke up on a Saturday Morning and Furnace/Thermostat went out over night. Robert Bair office called right back first thing in the morning. Virginia was really upbeat, focused, empathetic and friendly. She called right back to make sure she had our address correct, and dispatched Joe to our house within 30 minutes. Joe not only fixed our issue, but did his best to keep cost down. He showed me all the work completed, and told me what to look for to ensure the furnace kept working properly. Later that afternoon, I was concerned about something with the thermostat that I had installed myself. Called VIrginia at the office and she dispatched Joe and he was back at my house within the hour. Thaat visit took less than 30 minutes and Joe did not charge me for the second visit. Furnace is working great. We have used Bair for the past 15 years for various service calls. They are fast, and they are fair.

After calling numerous other firms that couldnt or wouldnt send someone for a sewer blockage during a weeklong sub zero cold wave, I called Bair Plumbing and had an estimator out the next morning, received a fair quote for replacing a 40 foot run of 65 year old cast iron former septic feed and kitchen drain. They came out the next day and retrenched the line with pvc pipe into the house. I must say that the two guys Joe and John did an excellent job considering the weather. Very thorough and professional. If I have to I will use them again and highly recommend their services.

I had a water heater installed by another company (mistake!) and was informed the flues were not the right slope (greek to me) for the water heater to work. I was told it was an "easy fix". Jason took one look and said no way could this be completed and immediately kicked into problem solving mode. I'm very disappointed that it cost me $230 for a 45 minute visit, which included a visual "diagnostic" and pressing a reset switch to get the furnace back up and running. I don't write too many reviews but I wanted to give a shout out to David J. He stopped out after hours because my furnace went out on this negative degree day. He determined in 20 minutes that my blower motor bracket was broken. I'm pretty handy, and I don't know how he figured this one out as it was on the far side out of view. He left and felt pretty bad for not getting it going as he didn't have a bracket(Goodman furnace 5in blower). He said if he had a brick he could rig it up so I could have heat. That got me thinking and after he left I went outside and pulled a landscaping brick and socket to put in place to hold the motor in position till my bracket comes in and I don't know if I would have thought of that idea if it wasn't for him. I'm able to sleep at 68 degrees instead of the 50 I was at!

On a Saturday afternoon we discovered a small back-up of the sewer and shower in our downstairs area. We knew from prior experience that a back-up of this type could lead to major problems. We immediately called Robert Bair and the scheduler arranged for a plumber to come to our home that evening to rod our the drain tile leading from our home to the sewer in the street. The plumber was extremely conscientious and before he started made sure that any dirt/debris coming out of the line would not soil the immediate area around the sewer entryway. Then he made sure he went past the first small blockage to discover that we had tree roots obstructing the drain tile closer to the street. That saved us having to make subsequent calls when the drain tile would have backed-up again in short order. I would strongly recommend using Robert Bair and its trained plumbers.
