Tate and Dawn were amazing! Super professional and friendly! Helped us relight our water heater and gas fireplace and showed us how to do it if in the future it happens again. Then replaced our garage disposal on the spot. Thank you so much! I will only use this company because they have done so much work in our house to installing a new washer and dryer line, new gas stove line, to new plumbing for a kitchen and frozen water pipes. They have installed two toilets and installed plumbing for an apartment downstairs. We won’t use any company but then.

Found a leak around 11pm, was referred to Merritt by a friend. Called them as soon as they opened the next morning, they worked me into the schedule less than an hour after I called. The team that came to do the repair was so great, I’m not sure if it was an apprentice and his mentor but the way that they worked together was so great, team work, great communication, respect, and motivating environment. I will always suggest your business to my friends and family.

We have used Merritt Plumbing three times in the past two weeks, to perform an emergency plumbing repair, and to install new kitchen and bathroom faucets. It was easy to get our service scheduled in a timely manner, and each time the techs performed well to complete the needed work. When we had a unexpected leak on a Saturday afternoon, 'Alf' arrived within 45 minutes, to attend to our emergency basement ceiling leak. His responsiveness to troubleshoot the problem, provide a temporary cap of the pipe, and his sense of humor (in the midst of a large family celebration) was greatly appreciated. Thank you Merriitt Plumbing team!!

He got the job done quickly and was very professional. My dogs loved him even more when he brought in bacon treats. I would definitely suggest using them! We had a problem with a drain pipe leak and I called Merritt's and made an appointment. The day of the scheduled appointment Dave called and asked if he could come early as he was ahead of schedule. Of course I said yes! He worked at it until the pipe was fixed which was no easy job! I highly recommend Merritts. They will not only show up when you make the appointment, but do great work and take care of whatever plumbing issue you have!!

With much debate on who I could call with a plumbing leak I found myself sitting behind a Merritt Plumbing truck on Pershing. I took a photo of the back of the van so I’d have their number and called as soon as I arrived home. I spoke with Doug and he put me at ease immediately with his professionalism and courteous manner. I had an appt in 2 days. Tate & Don came out and the problem wasn’t at all what I thought, it was a lot simpler. Both gentlemen were also courteous and took no time at all finding and fixing the leak. They cleaned up everything afterwards and were on their way. I would recommend Merritt Plumbing and Heating to anyone looking for a reliable and honest company. Thank you for taking the stress out of this for me.

Our basement flooded, and it turned out we have a ground water problem. Lucky us. We phoned Merritt's to receive a quote for installing a sump pit, pump and drain pipes. Randy came out, listened to our concerns, and spoke in language we understood. He actually told us to start with the cheapest option, to see if that would solve the problem before installing drain lines. We actually pushed for the extra work because everything was tore up, and we figured we might as well just do it. He didn't try to over charge us. In fact, it was the opposite. He was very honest, and came out a second time to give another estimate when we decided on exactly what we wanted done. After the work was complete, we noticed there was damage to our drywall from where a board had been set up by the window. We phoned Randy, he came out, and agreed to cover the cost to fix it. It wasn't terrible, awful damage, but it was visible and we had no idea how to fix it or we may have tried ourselves. No one is perfect, and it's understandable damage happens. The prompt reply after we phoned to let them know about the damage, and agreement to cover the cost was really a testament to the service offered by this company. We will gladly always return to Merritt's and recommend them to friends and family.

Two things of note, first I need work to install a gas line for a fireplace and cook top. The guys who showed up did an outstanding job. They worked diligently to get the new lines in place and my fireplace up and running for a cold snowy weekend. Great work at a fair and reasonable price. Second, one of my on demand water heaters went out and part of my house was cold from no heat (in floor heat system) The gentleman who showed up went through my system and determined that it may just need a good cleaning. He took apart the unit cleaned the elements, put it back together and all is well. Great work from someone who took their time to figure out the problem and fix it versus say it was bad and selling me a new one. This was two great example of great service. On time, efficient and at a great price. Merritt will be who I call for all of my plumbing needs.

Absolutely great. Have been having trouble with the water heater staying lit, and kept going out. Said they thought it was two parts possibly but we'd replace the cheaper one first (to keep the cost low) and only if they had to would replace the other more expensive part which I was very happy with. Fast turnaround time to get the parts here (over night). Very happy with their customer service as well. Called around 9 am and wasnt given a time for service, and only an hour later someone was on their way to check it out. Very reliable, honest, hard working people. Very polite as well.

When a leak sprang up, Merritt came by quick and got the leak fixed. Unfortunately, the water system was installed incorrectly to begin with, and other pipes began leaking too. They advised me where to rip out drywall and got the whole house repiped quick. Luckily, no lasting water damage!

These guy's at Merritt plumbing are the best. They put a new water heater in my house and the two guys where great. But, I'm an honest guy. I notice they didn't charge me for parts. So, I do the nice thing and call them and let them know I'm sending a check for the differents. That Doug was a hoot. Thank you so much! The two gentlemen that were sent to do repairs were the most competent plumbers that we have hired within 20 years, (we have had some nightmares in the recent & past). We had many tasks for them, and even a few surprise repairs, no issue for these two, they were like a well oiled machine working together. From the roof to the crawl space, they crushed it! We live 30 minutes from town, so they brought their own food and water. And they were right on time. Just wow.

We have been loyal customers of Merritt Plumbing for about 9 years and they have serviced our home and a rental home we own in Cheyenne. Today they lost me as a customer. A plumber and assistant entered my home without masks, they observed me wearing a mask and earnestly attempting to maintain social distancing. When the plumber breached recommended social distance, I clearly requested he maintain social distance and he ignored my request, coming within inches of me and continued talking at me, trapping me in a corner, and showing me a worn washer (which was unnecessary). When the sneezing assistant breached social distancing, I yelled "I am trying to maintain social distance" and he backed away and apologized. In the 5 months I have been dealing with COVID-19 (as someone in the high-risk category) I have never felt so disrespected and at risk, especially in my own home. I do not care what anyone's beliefs are about this pandemic. I did not infringe on anyone's rights by asking them to wear a mask. My beliefs were clearly ignored and I was put at risk in my opinion. It would have taken very little effort to show respect, Merritt has lost me as a customer. Randy from Merritt did call back and apologize after seeing this review, stating he has asked his staff to be sensitive to the situation and wear masks when they seeing others wear masks. For that reason I improved my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star.

We just remodeled our bathroom and David came to put in the fixtures and toilet The fixture in the bathtub did not match the existing pipes. David explained my options very clearly and helped me come to a decision. Since our house was 30 years old we decided to replace the pipes to the tub. This meant ripping out the new wainscoting we just installed. David was very careful in taking off the wainscoting in order to get to the pipes. He was kind, professional, and very dedicated to doing a good job. Thank you!
