I would highly recommend Chad and Meridian plumbing. 5 out of 5 stars. Note this is our second time using Meridian plumbing we had recently had a hot water heater installed and we're so pleased with their service that we called back again for this.

We called Meridian Plumbing because our pilot light was out on our water heater. Prior to calling, i had tried to diagnose and fix the problem myself. Unfortunately, it was not the typical issue of replacing the thermocouple. When i called Meridian Plumbing to get someone out to look at our water heater, Sara (spelling?) was super helpful and was very transparent about what to expect and when to expect the plumber to get to our house. Dan Caruso was the plumber who showed up. Dan Caruso is a superstar! He was friendly and informative and very knowledgeable. Mind you, i had called on a Friday night and he was to our house first thing Saturday morning. Even after another plumbing call. Meridian Plumbing did not charge us an "after hours" fee and were completely upfront about what might happen when the plumber showed up. Long story short, Dan gave me all the options we had to get our water heater back in action and we chose to have him replace it with a whole new system. He was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. He even took the time to fix a running toilet that was in Mom's room. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Yes, spending a bunch of money on a new water heater suck's! However, Dan with Meridian Plumbing made the process quick, informative and got the job done in a timely manner! Our water heater flex pipe sprung a leak. I called Meridian Plumbing and the they had Galen in my garage 45 minutes later taking care of the problem. The job was quickly, cleanly and expertly done. The job didn't break the bank either. When Galen left, you couldn't tell there was ever a leak. We previously used Meridian Plumbing to install water softener and R/O systems. We liked their work so much that they're our "go to" plumbing company without a second thought.

Matt saved the day, incredibly knowledgeable, very kind and professional. Went above and beyond answering my countless questions. Unfortunately I called a different local company prior to Meridian Plumbing that showed up in a pink truck and ended up doing nothing but try and sell me a new water heater and actually ended up causing more issues than I started with. The day after the pink truck guys "serviced" my poorly working water heater it stopped working completely... So Instead of trying those knuckleheads again I decided to call Meridian Plumbing. Matt quickly figured out what had happened. Repaired the water heater and gave me tips on how to further improve hot water in the house. If your still reading this do yourself a favor just go with Meridian Plumbing. I've went with others and paid a hefty price. These guys here are the best its not even close. I cant speak for all the technicians but if the rest are anything like Matt your in good hands.

First I would like to say everyone at Meridian plumbing has been very polite and helpful. I had a leak in my main water line. Dan came out and confirmed I should have it replaced. He took care of all the utilities being marked and the inspection done afterwards. He brought the shut off valve to a different place making it easily accessible. I can now reach it. That was a big help. The main line is in, the hole was filled today and looks good. They even put the bricks back where they were before they started digging. They also pounded the dirt down where another company tried to work on the line. I have a mid-century home and the pipes are old. I am having the pipes replaced. Several other companies will be involved and Dan was able to get the work coordinated for a smooth process. Dan has explained all that needs to be done and kept me in the loop as to the progress of the project. I will be thankful on Thanksgiving day I have all new plumbing. Thanks Meridian Plumbing The new plumbing is now installed and all is going well. Dan and Tyler did a good job. There were a few minor issues after the install. I called the office and the issues were resolved the same day. Once again everyone was very polite and helpful. My system is working much better now. Thanks.

Free estimate was provided for shower leak and service was very prompt. The job was completed efficiently and timely, even with parts having to be ordered. Excellent service start to finish. Being the first time I've had to use a plumber, I wouldn't be the best judge at competitive pricing. However, Meridian Plumbing was one of the few places I called that offered free estimates and they had the best availability out of the ones that did. My end cost was even a little cheaper than the original estimate.

We had Tripp come work on a leak behind our wall today and he was professional, friendly, and fast and explained the problems with our issue and what it would take to fix it. It was over 100 degrees and he worked in the house crawl space and the garage despite the heat. While he worked he made sure the workspace was safe and made sure our young daughter would be safe. We 100 percent recommend Meridian Plumbing and Tripp!

Dan installed a new hot water heater plus a soft water/filtration system. Excellent work! He and his assistant Anthony replaced the galvanized pipes on our upstairs water heater with stainless steel pipes. As Dan predicted, the galvanized pipes had corroded over 4 years of use, as seen when the old pipes were removed and cut in half.

John swung over to help with our new water softener power up. We already had it hooked up to to the water lines and really just needed assistance with how to use the machine and set the PH....We assumed it was much more complicated than it is. He kindly let us know how simple it was to do it on our own and gave us the few steps it took to get it working and set the PH for us. He could've easily been greedy and did everything himself charging us for the time and labor, but he was a true gentleman about it and we were NOT charged a thing. We are extremely impressed and will DEFINITELY recommend this company.

My husband and I called Meridian Plumbing at the recommendation of my dad, after he had experienced their high level of work and professionalism. Tripp and his colleague arrived even earlier than expected and got right to work. After clearing the kitchen drain and preparing to leave (they were in the truck in the driveway), I noticed water in the the laundry room that inadvertently happened when they had cleared the kitchen pipes. They came right back inside and quickly began cleaning up the floor of the laundry room, which wasn't easy since they had to move the washing machine, dryer, and stand to do so. Tripp even asked me if I approved of the cleaning solution he was using, which I was totally fine with since it meant I didn't have to do it! While they were cleaning the laundry room, unfortunately I discovered more water had come up through our basement drain. They did not appear frazzled at all, and again, got right to work cleaning up yet another mess. Tripp and his colleague ended up staying a couple more hours to clean up and determine why the water had come up through the other pipes when they were clearing the lines in the kitchen. Tripp apologized several times, and both he and his colleague were extremely professional the entire time. We will definitely be using Meridian Plumbing for any future plumbing needs we might have!

This is the second time Dan has been to my house. The first time was to replace a bathroom sink faucet. I found him to be very helpful, courteous and thorough, so when my toilet wouldn't flush, I called Meridian Plumbing and requested him again. Shower upgrade people ran into a problem they could not fix. Meridian plumbing was able to fit me into an emergency slot and were here within two hours to fix the problem so the shower upgrade people could finish on time. Galen was pleasant, considerate and stayed on task until he was finished. The price was surprisingly low considering it was dispatched as an emergency. Called Meridian Plumbing with hotwater heater issue.They had Mafi out within a half hour to look at it.Heater was getting old and I decided to replace it. Figured they would be out the next day to replace it , but they have a good supplied truck and had a new one on it. Within about 2 hours It was installed and working . After some poor service, and customer service, from Shilo Plumbling, I called Meridian Plumbing. Meridian Plumbing had a same day opening and Pedro arrived within two hours. Pedro quickly diagnosed the issue, recommended the same replacement (and upgraded) parts as Shilo Plumbing, but the quote was over $100 less than Shilo Plumbing! Mafi and Joe installed a new gas water heater in my garage. I was completely satisfied with the quality of work and the price. It was 500 dollar under a major competitor for same Bradford White water heater. They went above and beyond, replacing the original copper supply lines with old shutoff valve, back to the PEX lines behind the wallboard, with new PEX lines out to the water heater and a new shutoff valve. Very thorough... I would recommend Meridian Plumbing to anyone looking for a quality Plumbing company. A++++

Updated 2/3/23: I had a leak that I was fighting with for about a week and gave up and decided to have Meridian Plumbing out. Not only did they come out quickly, they gave me a reasonable estimate on the proper fix and tried to fix it with what I had. You can't go wrong with this company.

Called Meridian Plumbing to have a bathroom fixture fixed and get cost for a few other things that needed done. Galen came out was able to come early and he looked at the bathroom fixture was able to tighten a loose something and stopped the drip. He then went over our options for the other work we want to have done. Galen just left our home for the second time and just installed our water softener and hooked up the fridge to water for us. He was great explained what he did and cleaned up any mess that he made along the way. Very happy with Galen at Meridian Plumbing will be calling again for more work that needs to be done. We've had Meridian Plumbing re-pipe the entire plumbing system in our house and, a couple of years after that, handle the installation of all the fixtures associated with complete remodels of both our bathrooms. Working with MP on those projects was a very positive experience both in terms of the people we worked with and the results, so we didn't hesitate to call them when we decided to have a new toilet installed. Wade, the plumber who came out and did the installation, didn't disappoint. He arrived right on time, was friendly, professional and efficient and did an excellent job. I'll continure to recommend MP to anyone looking for a proficient plumber and quality results.

We needed to have our entire 2 story house repiped due to aging pipes. We called and were able to have Galen from Meridian Plumbing come out and give us a free quote right away. After getting other bids, we went with Meridian Plumbing. They were able to get our repiping job on their schedule pretty quickly considering its size. Galen and Trip arrived on time every day and kept us in the loop as the job went on. They were extremely considerate, did careful, quality work and went above and beyond to help us get the desired result for our job! The total cost also came in as quoted - no unhappy surprises - huge plus! Dan come out to check on a water pressure issue. He inspected the pressure at the hose bib, PRV, expansion tank, and the faucets He was unable to find an issue with the pressure. While he was here I asked him about a water softener. He explained how one works and provide a cost sheet if I choose to have one installed. I also asked him to replaced my anode rod in my water heater. Dan was on time, kind and courteous and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use Meridian Plumbing in the future.

Michael Jordan came out to replace the faucet in our travel trailer. He was on time, very courteous, and when a question arose from the work Chris Gardner had done he called him to double check. The installation of the faucet went without a hitch. When Michael was finished he mentioned that the outer water inlet looked like it might cause us some trouble in the future. After Michael left I went to replace things under the sink and noticed a large puddle of water. I called the main office and they got ahold of Michael and said that he would return after he finished the other job he was on. While we were waiting I went to Camping World and got the new part. Michael arrived shortly after that and replaced the part. He also came up with a suggestion about using a "Y" connection on the inlet. That way I could drain the line and hose before I unhooked. This would prevent any water from going into the wall. We tried it with a "Y" connection I had and it worked perfectly. THANKS Michael for your double duty today and the excellent suggestion.

Meridian Plumbing did a great job at our home today! For the last 4-6 weeks we have had much lower than usual water pressure. I called Meridian Plumbing and set an appointment for a diagnosis. The technician, Mafi, arrived not only on time but called to asked if he could start an hour early, which actually worked out even better for our schedule. Upon arrival, Mafi listened to our description of the problem, asked pertinent questions, and then proceeded to work on the issue. The problem turned out to be a nonfunctioning water pressure regulator. Mafi removed the part, mended the pipe and then checked the pressure. He ultimately advised us that we did not have to replace the part (saving us $500) and we were charged only for the diagnosis and repair. The water pressure we have now is better than when we bought the home new 17 years ago. Thank you Meridian Plumbing!

Each technician - including the one who did work for us today (Dan) - has been knowledgeable, professional, kind, empathetic, and easy to work with. Our house is 22 years old, and the water heater we had was the one the house came with. It had reach "end of life" a long time ago, and it wasn't even up to code with the changes that have taken place in regards to code specs over that last 20+ years... Excellent job! We were referred to Meridian Plumbing for a quote on a re-pipe from my sister who had them re-pipe her home years ago. Mustafa came and gave us a quote on the re-pipe and we scheduled for the next week. Mustafa came with Anthony and those two alone pulled all of old 58 year old galvanized pipes, replaced them with pex-pipe though-out the whole house. Not your average plumber. This guy knows how to fix things, how to sell services and how to retain customers. Dan also walked the home with me and clued me into some other items to consider such as my 14 year old water heater and a perhaps a water softener to minimize the hard water deposits. The most tempting item was that his truck carries faucet cartridges and can he replace most without having to source from a vendor eliminating the need for me to pull the cartridge then take it from store to store looking for a replacement. Last year(2017) when I first moved into my home, I had Meridian Plumbing come out and give me quotes on several plumbing repairs suggested in my home inspection. The gentleman that came out that day was very nice and professional. He seemed to be very knowledgeable about a variety of plumbing questions, and he patiently answered all of my questions, thoroughly, even offering suggestions and recommendations. At that time, I decided to wait, as some repairs were necessary but not imminent.. (and that right there tells you that they will be honest with you, and not try to tell you that you HAVE to get something done right away...) So, I felt very comfortable with this company right then. This year I decided to get my hose bib replaced, and Riley came out to get that done for me. Riley was also very nice, professional, and knowledgeable about what he was doing. Wade & Tyler came and installed a water softner/filter system to our water system. They did a great job and tolerated all of my questions and interruptions along the way explaining what they were doing. They were both very personable and had very good workmanship. They left at the completion of the job and all was working fine. That evening, I found a circulating pump that was acting up, not working as it should. Wade and Tyler came back the next day and began diagnosing the issues. It wasn't an easy problem to diagnose. The first thought was the pump had failed, but they kept asking questions and getting information about the pump setup. Finally found the solution was an airlock in the pump, which once released allowed the system to work properly. I want to thank both Wade and Tyler for their work. They installed a new softner/filter system (the water tastes great), saved me money on an unnecessary repair, and answered all my questions along the way. I would have them work on my system any time.

My hot water heater tank exploded, with water shooting out the back. Husband out of town. Neighbor shut off water. Now what to do? Called phone number on sticker on tank for who installed it in 2 year old house. They were too busy for this and said “you’re out of warranty. Find another plumber” Well, I did! For this and all future plumbing jobs. Meridian Plumbing came out within hours. Andrew explained the tank was “toast”, but also that the manufacturer warranty is 6 years. I would not have known this. So charges were only for installation the next day once I got replacement tank arranged Jason arrived earlier than scheduled to install and I had hot water in an hour. Can’t say enough about how everyone I dealt with at Meridian Plumbing, from Sarah who took my call and made my situation feel like a priority, to the guys who were prompt, informative, and friendly. And honest enough not to just sell me a tank of theirs when mine was covered. Highly recommended!!!

We just got a new water heater installed this week, and I can't recommend this company enough! Our water heater went out about 3 weeks ago. We called Meridian plumbing and they were able to have someone come out by noon that day! While he was able to get it running for cheap, we found out our water heater was 21 years old (there was an installation date sticker on the side). So he gave us some quotes for a new one if we wanted. No pressure at all though, which was nice. The gentleman who had come the first time was Shayne, and since I really trusted him after that first day, I called the day after Christmas to set up a day to install the new water heater. We set up a time for the next day! No waiting weeks! The installation was super easy. When he got here (early I might add) I let him know the one we'd selected, and they went to work. Since our setup was old, there were a few extra things they needed to change, but he still finished in under 2 hours. The whole experience was extremely positive and I will absolutely be recommending them to friends and family.

Had an emergency sewer line repair. Called a different plumber who attempted to fix and charged a lot of money before deciding the line needed repaired. The original quote was outrageously expensive (as all sewer line repairs probably are). Decided to get a second quote from Meridian Plumbing. There were some issues with the replacement HWH they brought out (big dent in the top of it that wasn't apparent prior to opening the box it was in.....looked like it happened in the factory and then painted over) and they didn't hesitate to get a replacement out to my house in a timely manner in order to get it installed last night. I live in an older mobile home. They come with their own unique set of maintenance requirements. The water heater started leaking around 2:30 in the morning on what was between Friday and Saturday. We would like to thank Meridian Plumbing for the wonderful service they provided for us. We contacted Meridian Plumbing because we smelled a rotten-egg like odor coming from our bathroom faucet for some time. Mike, from Meridian Plumbing, came right on time and checked everything; the faucet, the drain, and the pipes under the sink. He even went to check the pipes underneath our house in order to see if there was a leak. However, the odor was no longer there. Mike said that the smell could have come from the drain, but since it was no longer present we should not worry. He said that they could run a test on the roof (where the gasses could accumulate), but he told us upfront that this test would cost several hundred dollars. He suggested that he could take a sample of the water and run a test. When I ask how much this test costs, he said that it would be free. At the end of his visit we asked Mike how much we need to pay, and he said that Meridian Plumbing do not charge for visits when they just check on things. This was great news because most of the companies in Treasure Valley do charge for visits. So, we would like to recommend Meridian Plumbing to the people in our community as a trustworthy and highly professional company. Thank you!

The icing on the cake was when the plumbing inspector came by the following day and commented during his inspection that all the materials used were the best quality available and said that, as usual when Meridian has performed the work, he found everything had been done just the way it is supposed to be. I have been using a competitor for the past several years but they were very sales oriented and I didn't want to have to go through the sales pitch of buying into their yearly check up service and HVAC service and what parts they would try and sell me. That is what prompted me to try another plumbing service. I am so glad that I found Meridian Plumbing. After having a couple of our toilets consistently getting clogged I called Meridian Plumbing. They came out later that day and did a great job. But, what made the experience better was that when I mentioned that we had considered replacing the toilets they gave me options - no pressure to buy. They did waive the costs of the previous work when we decided to replace all the toilets and gave us a discount on replacing all 4. Their prices were already better than the previous plumbing company I had used...so that was good but they made it great! Dan was professional and friendly. I called him the next day when our shower started leaking through the floor/kithchen ceiling and he came right out and was really great again! Really pleased to have found a great plumber!

Best plumbers I've ever worked with. They came highly recommended from multiple people and now I know why. They don't charge to bid a job. I though that was normal but it turns out just about every other plumbing company in the valley wants to charge you just to come give a bid. We called many places before they were recommended to us. I'm happy we found them. They were very responsive to our issues and even found a way to get someone to our house to fix a leak when their schedule was packed for the day. They quickly found the source of our leak and fixed it. And then they referred us to a great disaster recovery company (UltraClean) to fix the damage done by the leak. All of the plumbers and office staff are very nice and professional. The plumbers explain the issues in plain language. And they are also very reasonably priced. We had a bid from another plumber that was over 2 times the price for the same work. They've been so good that we're now trusting them to re-plumb our entire house. After calling around and researching plumbers in the valley, Meridian Plumbing was the only company willing to come out for free and offer an estimate. Mike, from Meridian Plumbing, arrived that very afternoon to look at my failing pressure tank and other plumbing concerns. He was very polite and surprisingly honest. He quickly assessed the situation and showed me how easy it would be to replace the pressure tank myself, if I wanted to do it, and then gave a rough estimate for the labor, which was half as much as I expected. He said it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. The next day he emailed a quote on the cost of a new high-end pressure tank along with the original estimate for labor. After a little bit of research, I found that the pressure tank he quoted was top of the line AND very competitively priced. I couldn't have found it anywhere else for a better price. I've been telling everyone I know that these guys are the real deal. >Free in-home estimate >Friendly >100% Honest >AND Extremely reasonable rates I ended up doing the work myself and it took exactly 2 hours from start to finish. After several minor leaks over the years, we came to realized that our house was built in that time window when polybutylene was widely used. We decided to get the whole house replumbed and fixed preemptively rather than wait for a disaster. Meridian Plumbing rose to the proverbial "top of the heap" when researching companies to do this kind of work. We had been dreading this based on experience with several different plumbers over the past few years. However working with Meridian Plumbing was a great experience. We were very pleased that Pete Booher, who came out to do the initial assessment and estimate, also was the lead plumber for the job. Pete and his team did a great job of ensuring minimal disturbances of our household routines. They were neat and clean, and covered the furniture when they had to make access openings in the ceiling. After the job was completed (3 days) Pete walked us through everything they had done and answered any questions I had. I unhesitatingly give them my highest recommendation.

After several homes in our neighborhood had leaks and floods due to the gray polybutyl water pipes that had used in the homes in the late 80s, we decided to take a preventive step and have the potentially bad piping replaced. Meridian Plumbing had been recommended by one of our neighbors and also by a friend. We were glad we called them. Riley did the work; good guy. When I have someone or a service over to do work I always write on the back of the receipt my thoughts on the visit, services rendered, etc. This is the view of that note. I presented Riley with 4 issues that my wife and I needed repaired, serviced or built. He needed guidance from his Management to do some modification of their standing protocols (there for a reason) allowing me the customization that one of our issues required. Two of the other issues he fixed also required some other flexibility; ie, he had to crawl under the house and uncap and make accessible a house water line leading to the exterior of the house. The forth issue was not a real issue, I just wanted it done. More expensive and time consuming than it was worth to me. Riley didn't point that out. He's working for a living. But he didn't lead me astray of my own conclusions. I appreciate that. It actually ended up costing less than I had budgeted and the work was more to my liking than I had hoped. He ended up giving us 3 solid fixes, a way to modify one of them in the future, and saved me money because of his honesty. All that is on the back of that receipt. Do I need to say more? Riley was pretty freakin chill. BOOM

We called on Monday about a leak and we got an appointment by Wednesday. I was afraid we would have to wait longer for a repair. We were told no minimum charge for coming to the house for free estimate. Andrew Christensen show up promptly and was extremely professional.
