He ended up coming early to the appointment and completed everything much faster than expected (a complete 2 story pipe replacement). Ethan and Travis came to our house to repair a leaking faucet in our basement. I received a phone call and text messages concerning my appointment, service, and time of arrival of the technicians. Much appreciated! Travis and Ethan were able to completely change out the faucet and part of the water line without any issues.Our appointment was from 3-5pm and they showed up around 3 and were done around 4-4:30pm. Nice guys, very friendly, very professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing to get an appointment soon. Their office staff are so nice and so sweet and kind on the phone. I called up American Rooter and Drain got an appointment scheduled. Cynthia was super and helping me find a good appointment day and time. She is very friendly and knowledgeable! The technician, Keidon, was super professional and took great care while he was in our home. We had a simple drain clear in our primary bathroom and Keidon did a great job. Our plumbing was causing several issues and we didn't have any idea where to start or how to get it fixed. I called on a Sunday (just to request service). I received a call early Monday morning and they responded that day. Although it took over a week to get everything resolved (as I said above - several issues), we are very pleased with the services we received. All of the technicians were very nice/polite and worked diligently to fix the issues. Chris was our main point of contact and I can't say enough good things about him and how nice he was to work with during a very stressful time. I will continue to use their services for any issues we have in the future. We had a plugged sewer mainline and had tried running a snake and drain-o ourselves over the last couple days but with no luck. We called American in the afternoon and they sent their tech, Travis, out the next morning. He was very personable and very knowledgeably answered all the questions we had. We ended up having them do a water jet cleaning which cleared the blockage and it got us up and running again. Really enjoyed working with Travis and would call them again if I needed service in the future.

Travis Dyer came out the same day I called. He was very thorough in checking and explaining what he thought the issue was. He explained the process he would be using and how it worked. He was very cautious to wear booties in the house and not track things in on the hoses. I appreciate the extra effort. After the cleaning process was done, Chris came out and put a camera down the pipe and followed it all the way out to the main drain in the road. He showed me the videos and explained what I was looking at and where it was in relation to the house. As he was leaving, he noticed a little mud on the porch. He didn't know if it was from their work, but cleaned it up anyway. Extra effort is super awesome!

American was the third plumber I contacted (the first was no longer in the area but referred me to another company; I filled out a contact form and received a reply some time later stating they were too busy / couldn't come out for at least a week, and the dispatcher-receptionist said it sounded like a main line problem and referred me to American). From my first phone call to Cynthia, I was glad I'd found the right company. She was friendly, helpful, and professional. She told me exactly what to expect, gave a two-hour time frame for the appointment day, and said they would call when the technician was on the way. Ethan was neat and clean, wore shoe protectors on his feet, and introduced himself right away. He asked questions, looked at the two separate issues (one a leaky toilet, the other a garbage disposal), and explained what he would do to fix the problems and how much it would cost. Fantastic customer service at every stage. Very satisfied and will certainly do business with American again when the need arises.

My kitchen sink/garbage disposal was suddenly clogged and leaking. I called several other plumbing companies, all which told me that the earliest they could be at my house was 2-3 days out. One of them was Veterans Plumbing, Raine answered my call and told me to call American Rooter & Drain and to tell them that she had referred me. Within 3 hours of that call Ethan had fixed the clog and cleaned out all of the pipes. He was also very professional and explained each step of the process. I would highly recommend this company.

We called American rooter and drain to do a drain clean, Ethan came out and tried to clean it, but because of how old our house was ,he told us we needed to do a water jet to clear the pipes. While the cost was more than anticipated, we agreed . He worked hard to clear it. It took him and Benjamin a visit or two, but they finally cleared the drain. Everyone we dealt with were very professional . I would highly recommend them to do any job around your house.

Keidon Decker came to our home and unclogged our shower drain. I was impressed with their kindness and how quickly they fixed the clog. He recommended the camera man come out to see what exactly is going on. I had a Home Depot man say that I could have collapsed pipes because of the sweating on the outside of home where my toilet line is. I had Benjamin Compas, the professional camera man, check my pipes out. He went underneath the house and checked the pipes twice. He said the pipes look good underneath, except my gate valve does need to be replaced. He crawled on top of my roof to put a camera down the pipe to check the toilet area. The pipes are very dirty, and need a cleaning. He shared the video with me. I was impressed with how clean these technicians were (i.e. putting on booties). Benjamin reassured me that I do not have collapsed pipes or tree roots in them, but that a toilet seal could be leaking, and they could fix this. Our finances aren't the greatest right now and we will need to save up for these repairs. But it was well worth spending the money for the camera inspection. I do have some peace of mind about the situation. Thank you American Rooter & Drain! We will keep in touch and do further business with you all.

We had our entire sewer line replaced, which went very quickly and smoothly. We also had all of the old water pipes replaced throughout the entire house, and an accident happened which resulted in a water situation in the basement. I was hysterical and panicked. Travis was the supervisor and he handled everything beautifully. Got my boxes out of the basement, immediately called in a clean up crew, checked on me repeatedly throughout the day and had the entire crew there until 7pm to make sure all water lines were in and working. He was completely calm and professional and made sure I was comfortable with the work and inspection before he left. Things happen with home repairs, but he made it right. Highly recommend if you need a big job done.

We were told there was a hole in the pipes and with their camera there was no hole, it needed to be cleaned properly. Very grateful for them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I needed some things changed with my natural gas setup for my dryer. I called and they were able to get someone out to see me within a few hours. I love the system they use when scheduling an appointment and how communicative the support staff was throughout the process. When Chris arrived he was super kind, courteous, and helpful. He put on shoe booties to not track in any mess into my home. He even put a front door mat at the front door before coming in. He answered a lot of my questions and helped to understand what exactly was going on and what he was going to do. Chris was truly incredible. In a world where it seems like customer service is dying, Chris’s service was a breath of fresh air. It’s crazy how much his simple kindness and patience meant to me. He truly made this such a great experience and is the reason I’m rating 5 stars. I have no comparison for the cost of the service, but it did honestly seem a little steep for everything he had to do. Admittedly I’m clueless about the costs of these kinds of services, but just worth noting.

First for the good part of this review. Our technician, Chris, was by far one of the best I have ever worked with. Polite, easy to understand, left the work space neat and tidy. Five stars and more for him. Now the bad part. EXTEREMLY EXPENSIVE! Almost akin to price gouging...and to a senior citizen at that! Well over 400.00 for a Glacier Bay faucet from Home Depot, plus an emergency shut off valve. A total of $762.00!!! Waited all day for a tech to be dispatched, it was after 5pm before the work was started. Kind of had us over a barrel by that time. Choice of fix leak immediately or wait to shop around, while still dealing with said leak. While I can recommend Chris, I can not recommend American Rooter and Drain.

We went from being stressed out of our minds to being thankful as could be because of Keidon. He came late on a Saturday after working all day long and saved us. They informed me on what was happening. What was going to be next. They were able to dig on the out side of my garage not in my garage. Rooter Router said they would cut 4 ft by 25 ft and 9 ft deep in the inside of the garage. American did have to go 3 ft under the garage . American was more expensive but did not go through the garage floor.

If you are reading this review, you are facing plumbing or sewer issues and wonder if this is the team to handle it. I unequivocally tell you they are the ones. I had a LARGE sewer/plumbing issue and this team’s work, professionalism, and desire to find the problems and fix everything for good was immeasurable. I met six professionals on my project and to a person they were knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to getting it right the first time for a long time. Plumbing problems are never cheap. But it needs to be done right – not halfway. I won’t use anyone else. They even came out and took a camera to their final work as a QA and shared the video with me for my reassurance. Had 2 drains that were not working well. 1st bathroom tub drain was taking so long to drain. There was some hair but he figured out it was the drain mechanism that needed to be adjusted. He did that for me. The bathroom sink in the master bathroom had hair also but it is just a smaller drain. I have had a guy from my home warranty tell me nothing could be done other than take off drain screen for more oxygen. I had to take the screen off. I paid him for nothing. My sister and I were mad about paying him for nothing. Now things are so much better. He knew what needed done.

A simple cleaning of drains was 2,300 dollars for 8 man hours. That adds up to $285.50 per man hour. Simple water pressure hose down our drains. We could have done that for a lot less money. The estimate for fixing our problem was so large I could hardly believe it. $22,000 for a repair of our drain was outrageous. Are you kidding! They also estimated a simple bathroom sink and faucet replacement of $1300.

The tech did an amazing job, but as far as price it was a bit much for a simple drain clog, I get that doing a hydrojet is good, but for $2000 bucks that is a bit steep and even $1100 also, and right around the holidays as well. I mean had a home card through synchrony that they referred me to this company that my card would work and they said it wouldn’t work. Makes no sense when they referred me. The tech was great and awesome, and I think I may of dislodged something, but it’s working now so that is a bunch!! But pricing was a bit high for hydrojet and such! Thanks

I gave McCrea/American Rooter and Drain a 3 Star because they charged $90 to give a quote based on a 5 minute in person inquiry. I understand that technician's time and travel costs money, but spending 5 mins and receiving more of a salesman style pitch was off-putting. The quote I received for hydro jetting my main line was $1000+, compared to other companies $700 range. They did not seem to really spend the time or effort learning what really needed to be performed, and just lunged straight into a iPad full of numbers that started at $1000 and only went higher. Also, I responded to this company from a flyer that had coupons on it. Reflecting back, their pricing was not very transparent and I doubt the coupon I referenced was even accounted for, or if they simply inflated their prices to make it look like the coupon was taken out. Be weary and critical before you consider using this company. Recommendation to company: perhaps the reason you started charging for a quote was because you were receiving a poor call backs/returns on quotes you were giving for free (which aren't really free, but built into the cost of doing business) because your prices were inflated.

Timely: I always receive a call telling me they are on their way - and sometimes a call asking if they can come a little early. Work is always done quickly . Above and Beyond: When I asked for a change to my water heater unit, even when it was not the reason for the visit, the change was made with no additional charge. During another visit when Dave had to move and then replace my outside air conditioner unit so cement could be laid, he cleaned up after the cement workers and even helped to fix several lengths of copper pipe that the cement workers bent beyond repair. Knowledgeable: Gives expert advice when needed or asked. Reliable: All work is always done to my satisfaction and the area clean before they leave. Customer Satisfaction: They always give excellent all-inclusive estimates before work begins and never go beyond this cost without consulting with me first, if needed at all.

I was very satisfied with Dave's appliance repair. When I called, they were able to come out the same day...which is so much a plus when you have a leaking fridge and a wood floor that you want to prevent any damage from. David was our tech who came out to evaluate what the problem was. He was courteous and efficient with diagnosing what was wrong. We did have to order an expensive part, the motherboard that regulates the defroster, but it came within a couple of days and Adam was the one who came and installed it and cleaned out our defroster, which by the way is a pain to work on...he had to move the fridge and take off the back side of a compartment because Maytag installed some funkey filter system that actually clogs up the drain, but once fixed...he replaced everything and checked it to make sure everything was running properly before leaving. Good job guys! I would recommend you to anyone
