Hemphill came to my rescue today. They provided excellent service, came when they said they would, did a great job, and were very professional. I had made several other calls, only to be told they couldn’t get to me until tomorrow at overtime rates or next week at regular weeks. 5 days is a long time to wait with a lavatory that won’t flush & is overflowing. He also unclogged 2 slow draining showers for me. I was so happy and grateful for their help. Hunter Johnson is the one who made the service call. He is friendly, kind, well-mannered, and did a great job!

Called Hemphill at 8:30 am on a Saturday in August because my air stopped working the night before. They were here and gone before lunch and my air is working great. I spoke with Andrew and he sent Michael out to get me back going. He did just that and did it at a very fair price. I was very pleased with their service and professionalism. This is the third time I have used Hemphill services for various reasons - mostly emergencies!! They have always done an outstanding job. I had an emergency and called them in the middle of the night for a leak in my main waterline. They were very courteous and very professional, despite the ungodly hours. They don’t give you the runaround like some companies do. When they say they are going to fix your problem, they get it done in a timely fashion. They had my leak fixed in no time and my water restored to the house.

I needed a new gas range installed where we previously had an electric range. Our countertop contractor recommended another local plumber to install the range, but they didn't show up and never called to reschedule. I've had good experience with Hemphill before and should've called them in the first place. Called at 9:30 and by 3:30 the range was installed which included running a new gas line to that corner of the house. Very happy with their work and the guys they sent out.

My rental unit downtown abruptly went out late Saturday evening during mostly recent heat wave. I was notified by my tenant following morning , who had escaped a miserably hot evening by going to a hotel. I immediately contacted Hemphill via after hours service representative who took the details of my service request, and confirmed I would be contacted upon opening following morning. At 8:15 I was contacted by Hemphill Servuce manager, who courteously provided me with an appointment one hour later. I met technician on time at the unit, who was courteous and efficient. After examining condenser and air handler thiroughy, determined problem and repaired it. By mid morning the unit was cool again and tennant ( and owner) very pleased Overall excellent communication process, and on time professional service! Thank you Team Hemphill🙂

Sewage was backing up in the bath tub and we immediately called Hemphill. They came out promptly and fixed the problem. We will absolutely call them for all of our plumbing needs in the future. It is wonderful to know that we now have a reliable, honest plumber.

The tech was great and did. A good job. Very courteous and cleaned up after himself, my biggest complaint is the bill. I admit I did not ask the hourly charge up front . But $160 a hour is way more than I expected. He was at our home for 3 and a half hours and the labor charge was $560.

Originally called another plumbing company several times and couldn’t get through to get an appointment so I called Hemphill after reading their reviews. A very nice gentleman answered the phone on the second ring and was very polite and helpful. He answered all my questions and sent Adam out this afternoon. Adam was able to properly find the problem and fix it immediately. He informed me each step of the way what the issue was and what it would take to fix it. I received quality work and service and am thankful! I’ll definitely use them again for any plumbing needs in my home and I’d gladly recommend them.

Called a tech to address.a leak. Tech found an issue with the pipes and had to cut the tile to replace them with brand new ones which was unexpected but fine. My complaint is with the bill. We were overcharged $200 and only caught it when reviewing the itemized receipt and doing the math ourselves. They handled it once we brought it up, but it bothers me that if we hadn't looked at the bill we would have just overpaid. On top of that, $160 a hour seems unreasonable. Most places will do a plumbing job for less than $100 an hour. The leak was small and we ended up paying ~$650 for the whole thing. Good work but will likely go with someone else next time.

Hemphill exceeded all of my expectations today. I woke up to it being 80 in my house and next to nothing blowing from the vents. After talking to Hemphill they had a tech at my house in less then an hour and had the AC working again in the next 30mins. The tech was very nice and professional; I will be returning if it ever goes out again.

Hemphill offered us the best price, so we hired them. They did a great job installing the units! We have since hired them for a few plumbing jobs, as well, and they did great work at a great price. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with the team from Hemphill. They were so easy to work with! Unlike many other companies, they sold me what I needed for my home rather than trying to sell me with more just so they could turn a bigger profit. After talking with several companies their upfront/no sales pitch approach was very refreshing. Thanks to Hemphill, I have an awesome new TRANE heating and air system and AO Smith gas water heater. I got great service, equipment,, and value from Hemphill. Hunter and his team did a terrific job with the install. They were efficient and made sure I felt good about things each step of the way. Hunter went above and beyond to help me get everything set up on the WiFi thermostat. I even got a visit from Chad, Vice-President, to see that the project was coming together. Based on my experience, you will have a hard time finding a company, with better service and value.

These guys went above and beyond. I would give them 10 stars if I could. We had another company service our old furnace and they drug their feet, put bandaids on it, and finally said it needed to be replaced, after I paid several fees for them to fix it. So I had Hemphill come out and give me a quote on replacing the furnace. They gave me a quote Thursday evening and I had a new unit installed less than 24 hours later. Their pricing was more than fair so I had them replace my 30 year old AC unit while they were at it. Their staff couldn’t have been nicer! I highly recommend Hemphill to anyone looking for HVAC service.

They came out to give an estimate on the job October 20, 2020. Will give further updates as needed.*** ***October 18, 2020 As a business we depend on other business services just as much as customers depend on us. I initially called and spoke with someone who passed my information on to the company representative. The representative called back and gave me a tentative arrival time but never showed. After continously calling, more than 3 times a day a few days in a row, the service representative (Andrew); I practically gave up on this business as an option. The unique thing is that so many people referred me to them. (Wanted to give one star but gave two simply based on how many other people referred them).***

Had a wonderful experience! Everyone was professional, friendly, responsive and efficient. They worked really hard to figure out what was going on with our gas line and hooked up our new gas logs for us. We will definitely use Hemphill again. We tried to work with a chimney service in town and had a weeks long nightmare of a time getting them to call us back, schedule etc.. Not the case with these folks. Definitely recommend them!
