Ian came out at first to assess the damage from the frozen pipes. He was prompt, professional and precise. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He was courteous and explained everything in detail to me. He had a crew out here to begin work within 2 days. I would recommend this company to anyone because of excellent way he dealt with my situation. The crew that he sent out worked with the same excellence. They stayed on the job until it was finished, even through severe thunderstorms. I was very pleased with the work that they did.

Technician took the time to call ahead and ask about our water heater issue so that he could ensure he had all the parts he needed before even arriving. 30 minutes later our water heater was fixed. Everything fell under warranty so that made it even easier. Will definitely use them again.

Cody was our Technician. He was professional and knowledgeable. He came to our three times. The first toilet was leaking out from under the toilet. I called and he returned immediately. He/we determined that it had to be the wax ring, he put in a new wax ring. The toilet still leaked. I called him and he decided that it had to a crack in the toilet base. He said he would get a new toilet and return to our house before the day ended. In the meantime he had to install a water heater. He returned to our with the new toilet. He removed the old toilet, installed a new wax ring, and a new toilet. Checked for leaks and everything was fine. He even checked the old toilet and he/we say a tiny crack. Cody did a great job. Another job well done by Cody.

We bought a utility sink cabinet and need a plumbing expert to install it in our laundry room. We contacted Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and they sent Chandler Parsons to work on this project. Chandler did such a wonderful job that we decided to join the Benjamin Franklin Plumbing membership so that we can contact the company whenever we have plumbing, heating system or any other problems that need to be fixed. Chandler was professional and on task! No nonsense! He knew exactly what was needed to get the job done and done well! He also cleaned up our laundry room after he finished the job. Our laundry room looks beautiful with the new utility sink cabinet! We definitely will ask Chandler to work on any of our home improvement projects in the future!

Ian knows his stuff! He’s got a great personality and work ethic. I’ve used this company a few times and I always ask for Ian. He now knows everything plumbing regarding my house and is equipped to tackle whatever issue arises. He also alerts me on potential issues that I need to keep an eye on. If they do arise I will certainly call on him again. The only thing I’d change is that he be available 24/7-365. My mishaps always arise on a holiday it seems. The three employees that have worked on issues, (Ian, apprentice, and another journeyman) came to help when it was a big job, and we’re all such nice, professional guys. On replacing the water line from meter to house, they hand dug the trench so they could lay the sod back down and not destroy my yard. It was scorching hot outside but these men went above and beyond.

I’d like to commend Brandon Moore and Ian Alley of Ben Franklin Plumbing on a job well done this past week. Brandon came out on a scheduled plumbing inspection on Monday, where some problems were found. Unfortunately, my water heater, condenser and pressure control valve all needed replacing. I scheduled for the replacement for the upcoming Friday morning. Brandon and Ian arrived on time Friday morning and got straight to it, working well as a team. About 3 hours later all work was completed and tested out just fine! Naturally, I hated the timing of this due to the cost, but due to Brandon’s and Ian’s efficient work and communication with me regarding the install, it wasn’t so bad. Thanks again Brandon and Ian! ————————————- 11/9/21. Ian came out today to do plumbing system check. He adjusted hot water heater thermostat done, and then checked everything else out. I had a couple of questions about kitchen sink and he explained issues in a way I could get understand. Very pleased with Ian and Ben Franklin services. ————————————- 9/22/2022. Lamar came to my house because I had a clogged kitchen drain. Turned out my pipes from the sink to the main drain pipe, about 30 to 40 feet, were pack with grease and other really nasty stuff. He took the time to show me the problem and worked with me on a solution that would be best for both my home and my wallet. He setup an appointment with me for him and a helper to come back tomorrow and replace the pipes. I think he gave me a fair price. I’ll know more tomorrow after he finishes the job. Real happy with the 20 year warranty he said I get.

What I liked about this company is what set them apart from several other plumbers we’ve needed over the past 10 years: 1) they set up an appointment for the same day and KEPT it, 2) they told us the price of the initial visit and didn’t surprise us with a higher charge (we’ve had other plumbers stand around talking and bill us for that time), 3) they had the problem fixed within 15 minutes, 4) we got a photo of the plumber coming out and a text and call when he was on the way, 5) we were able to pay by credit card before the plumber left, and 6) we got a copy of the invoice emailed to us within 30 minutes of the visit. I had called for a couple simple gas line jobs. Capping one line and reconnecting a fireplace log starter. Kyle Hooper called first to let me know when he was on his way. He arrived on time and was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He did the job quickly and efficiently. While capping the gas line he noticed the water heater needed servicing. It was nearly 19 years old so it was time. We checked the water heater and found it was clogged with sediment and had corrosion on the water line connection. I decided to make the plunge and get a new water heater, regulator and emergency shut off valve and Kyle was able to get the new water heater and associated bits and had everything swapped out in short order. We have three bathrooms and every toilet honked after the tank filled. The guest bath toilet honked for a solid 30 seconds, loud enough to shake the fixtures. Awful and the showers and tubs were beginning to honk too. After talking it over, Shane replaced all three toilet valve regulator thingys and the honking is gone. David was very knowledgeable, quick, patient and kind. He wore booties in the house, he carried the new toilet up stairs and didn't drag it along my floor. He arrived 15 min early and was in and out in about 35 min. They won't give you a quote on the phone because they need to access the situation before they give you a price but assuming nothing is wrong its between $200-$500. If your old toilet is already gone and you're providing the new toilet its on the lower end; higher end if not. DO NOT HIRE Professor Plumb. Benjamin Franklin plumbing is worth the extra money.
