Corey and his team were great. He provided a couple of estimate options when our water heater failed and had it replaced in a day. I really can't say he could've done anything better. He stays in communication with you throughout the process and his work is very neat and clean. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. Will definitely be my first call for any future issues!

Corey is a real pro! He backs up his work with integrity and a genuinely positive nature. My toilet was still a little leaky after a repair he did- so invisible and intermittent, I don't fault him for not knowing it was there when he finished the work. So he came back out, fixed it, and waited 20 minutes just to make sure it wouldn't leak again. In the meantime, we had a pleasant conversation about his kiddos. Quality work. Great plumber! ☆☆☆☆☆

Imagine this - a bitterly frigid Christmas eve, your elderly mother, living alone, calls to say that her kitchen pipes are frozen and furnace broken, due to a massive cold snap moving across most of the country. You call multiple technicians - "holding" for many minutes on the answering service for a few, just not getting any answer for others. As the time ticks down to evening, hope of getting someone to come out before most folks take their deserved holiday for at least the day dwindles as well. Fear of hearing from someone after Christmas, only to be put on a waiting list that has built up after the break, and because of the hoards who are in the same boat grows. Enter - Spartan Plumbing, specifically Corey. After getting his contact info from a different ongoing, satisfied customer, I reached Corey via text and confirmed an appt for later that afternoon. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to make the appointment after discovering that the diesel in his engines had gelled up, also due to the cruel chill. But, to still honor the commitment, we connected via Facetime and diagnosed this issue quickly. My mom was able to have running water in the kitchen for her holiday. Very appreciative of Corey, and recommend his services for sure!

After a lack of investigation by one plumber, followed up by a hyper inflated quote to fix a problem (that turned out to not even be the problem included in any of the quotes provided), I was desperate for a second opinion! I did a quick Google search and came across Spartan Plumbing. I left a message and Corey called me back pretty quickly. He got me on his schedule promptly and came out to investigate my leak situation. Together we were able to rule out some suspected issues and isolated the problem. Spartan Plumbing replaced two old yard hydrants…both in very tight spaces with underground high voltage power and cable lines running directly under the hydrant. The work that Cory performed was absolutely the most professional and neatest job that I seen in many years. I have been in commercial construction for over 45 years as superintendent on over 35 projects and worked with a bunch of different plumbing companies. Cory Spartan was hands down the best overall, he made every move to be productive one, he was very neat, professional and cleans up behind his work, was on time, dependable and his prices are very competitive with others in the area. Not only that, after he left, our water well pump sucked up a lot of sediment and blocked the water so no water was getting the pressure tank or the rest of the house. I him called on back at 3:00pm to see if he could come back help me trouble shoot the problem (this was on Friday afternoon) he returned to the house in 20 minutes and had it fitted shortly afterwards. I will never call another plumber! I've never felt so comfortable and at ease working with a contractor. Corey was exceptional! He showed up within 10 minutes after I called him (he was in the area, thankfully!!) to assess a sewage pipe connection in our yard. He didn't charge us to look at it! He came out again, as soon as his schedule allowed, which was within a few days. We had the problem resolved within a couple of hours. He answered all of our questions and didn't seem to mind us standing over his shoulder as he worked. I cannot begin to describe what I thought was going to be a real expensive problem to fix. I imagined the wall and floor having to be removed, and a whole lot of other things. Instead, because of Cory’s experience and expertise, he resolved it in seconds. Finding a great plumber is not an easy task. Thank you to Cory at Spartan Plumbing - a one of a kind business in Asheville. He works with integrity, honesty, great customer service, and just does all around good work. I'm probably on the picky side as far as homeowners go, and Cory was great to work with even with all my nervous worries. We had a big job of replacing all of our water supply lines and all the lines to the fixtures. We couldn't be happier, and the pricing was fair too. Only plumber I would hire in Asheville. Has worked with me on both a repair and a basement remodel. He told me that the sub pump was bad, and that the repair would not hold for long and that it needed replacing soon. It did not hold, but he is taking most of the repair cost off and putting toward the replacement which I thought was very fair. The 2 man crew uninstalled a gas water heater and installed an electric heater. Also, they installed a sump pump in our basement, ran the drain pipe through the foundation into a low area of the yard, added a rain gutter downspout to the drain, and left the basement in better condition than before they began work, all in half a day. Very professional and efficient!
