Woke up this morning to an electrical mess, I called TLC for help and was able to get fit into the schedule right away. Alberto and Jose were able to professionally troubleshoot and identify why my outlet was not working. They showed me what happened and properly explained what they did to get the electricity back up and running. I appreciate the professional job and prompt service. I am very satisfied with my service and would recommend. As you can see in the photos one outlet tripped and one was melted. Thankfully nothing worse happened and Alberto and Jose saved the day!

TLC provided phenomenal service start to finish. We could not be happier. We bought a new house and wanted to make some changes. Martin and his crew were the best. They were super helpful in the early planning phase having great ideas to help us achieve what we were looking for and how to do it the most economical way. We were having problems with our old boiler and called TLC. Cody arrived within a few hours (on the weekend), diagnosed what was wrong and unlike other plumbers actually took the time to look at EVERYTHING, gave us various options/recommendations and there was no pressure whatsoever to choose a certain option. We ended up just having them install a new system and are very satisfied with the whole process. Boilers are not cheap but we got what we needed at a reasonable price. Cody and his helper Ronny did some top notch work as well during the install and stayed as long as it took. We will be using TLC from now on for anything we need.

SAM GARCIA! The man! The hero! We had a bad leak and didn’t know where it was coming from. Sam came in after everyone was weeks out and said major demolition was going to be required. Sam removed some Sheetrock and had the water back on in hours. Highly recommend.

OUTSTANDING JOB!! Ryan Clark & Aaron Vasquez are the best! Very professional. Polite and very competent. Not only cleaned out the dryer vent line but also repaired the attic vent and connected the vent line to the roof vent. This was above and beyond the "call of duty" and shows the dedication of these two "TOP" TLC professionals. I personally recommend Ryan and Aaron for the Outstanding Service award. Great job guys!

Shannon, the TLC plumber, arrived within 2 hours of me calling for an emergency water leak (TLC knew I had already turned off the water at the street). He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me a "worse case" price quote. That didn't turn out to be the case. He was able to replace a faulty outdoor spigot and pipe and opened up the wall inside where water had gushed in the house when the pipe failed. He was not able to test the repair due to the city turning off the water area wide at almost the same time as our leak. But, he did give me his cell number and asked me to text him when service was restored. Thankfully, all was well! I was very happy with his knowledgeable, efficient, friendly service. He also asked about a military discount, which we we able to take advantage of. We have had TLC replace a boiler, install 3 toilets, replace numerous bathroom sinks & faucets, install a R/O water system, remove/replace a bathtub, which involved tiling, install double wall ovens and install a ceiling fan. We have been very pleased with their work.

What a relief, I was expecting to have to wait days before TLC could send someone to my home because I know how busy they are. Our water heater exploded one early afternoon. We called TLC to help. I wanted a certain type of new water heater, but the technician was extremely honest about the price and time it would take to switch, both which were prohibitive. We replaced with an upgraded model of what we had. Features were added to make it more safe and to current code. TLC set up the city inspection so we didn't have to. When the inspector arrived, it was perfect. He said it is rare that he finds anything wrong with a TLC installation. Our problem was considered an emergency, so we had same day service--it took just a few hours. Very pleased.

Outstanding service. Technicians and Plumbers always exceptionally courteous. In this instance it required two visits. The techs involved were Isaac A. and Jonathan. Both were efficient, certainly knew what they were doing, and accomplished the task in a timely manner. It involved a sink faucet leakage diagnosis, help finding a replacement online at a local hardware big box store, and a return visit to install the faucet. I always have marvelous experiences with TLC. Would highly recommend.

I thought I’d have to go without hot water for a week, but we called TLC thank goodness! They were on their way within minutes of our phone call! Not only that, they were very personable and put me at ease when they said they could install a brand new hot water tank and replace all of the accessories that were damaged by hard water. I am so grateful for Shannon and David for their friendly demeanor, as well as their quick and thorough work. (They even put my cleaning supplies back into the cabinet under the sink after replacing a part!) I was like WOW!! In a world where customer service is practically nonexistent, these gentlemen have restored my faith in humanity! 😄 They said they offer a service where they check your A/C, plumbing, etc. twice a year and I’m signing up immediately! Knowing that you’re home is taken care of by professionals that actually care about their job… That’s priceless!

We initially contacted TLC about purchasing and installing a water softener. We were so pleased with the process that we also had them install a new tankless water heater. The service was so exceptional, we decided to have them install a new AC and furnace as well. It was during a follow-up visit that a leak under our foundation was detected and quickly repaired. I hired TLC to install a pergola patio and do some remodel work inside my home. Ramon Ramos arrived on my scheduled day prompt and ready to work. Before starting the job, Ramon did a walk thru with me and explained everything he was going to do. I had a pipe burst yesterday afternoon the first technician came out, and he was not able to fix my issue. He advised me he would be able to get someone out to my house sometime in the am. Fast forward till next day, my plumber came he was extremely nice and sympathetic towards my problem. He was able to fix everything. I have to tell you the plumber that came out did. Or look a day over 18, he was actually 19! He had a work ethic and customer service skills that I have never thought someone that young would have. The kid from last night and today both mist Of been anomalies, because of there age and their skills. It was an extreme pleasure to pay tlc money to have these two come out to my house they were superhero’s with plumbing equipment. Thank you for the help and great customer service.

First of all they are 24 hour service. They responded within 30 minutes to send out the service techs. The techs got here within an hour of my initial call. They were up front and informed me along the whole process. They fixed my shutoff valve which was installed wrong by the previous owner discounted because they were already fixing my pressure regulator. The whole thing costed $850. I get alot of anxiety with repairs like this being a first time home owner. I'm completely satisfied.

I have used TLC for many home repair needs. Most recently, I call them to install new anode rods in my old hot water heater. The technician was professional , competent, and very personable. The bad news was the water heater really needed to be replaced. He recommended the Bradford white brand and provided a quotation for installation. This model cost a bit more than others you would find in the warehouse stores, it was built in America, with all American made parts which TLC has found to be accessible for upkeep and basement maintenance. After considerable Internet research on water heaters, I decided to except the proposal from TLC. I asked that the same technician assigned to the project. The technician accommodated my scheduling needs. He was on time and professional and installation was completed. My old system needed upgrades to the current building code. I was also shown the sequence of actions needed to complete the annual maintenance flushing of the hot water heater. The project was completed at the estimated price even though the technician encountered a few issues that required more time in typical for a hot water installation. I really couldn’t be more pleased with the service.

TLC is honestly the best anywhere. I have had TLC at my home and my Mom's several times over the last several years. My air ducts were cleaned by Ryan Clark and Aaron Vasquez and they were extremely professional and super friendly! They explained exactly what they would be doing before they started and also explained what they completed after they finished. They were thorough, honest, and cleaned the area after the job was completed. I only trust my home to TLC for anything in my home.

Anytime we need anything in our home we call TLC. We had them install our HVAC and furnace. Install gas lines for the stove and rework our out of date electrical in our 1959 home. They are professional, kind, capable, on time, and so sweet with our old dog when they are here. We never call anyone else and never will. We recommend them to family and friends every time. They’ve worked on my mother in laws house and my best friend at our suggestion and didn’t disappoint. We love TLC and no one else will ever be allowed to touch our home. They techs are so pleasant and friendly too. You can’t go wrong with TLC. You just can’t.

They did much better/cleaner work than what was installed when we purchased the home. 1yr warranty on everything they provided, manufacturer warranty on the water heater itself as we provided that. I never used to write reviews for services. However, recently I've had so many bad experiences I feel it's important to acknowledge good service. Both Levi and his partner are deserving of this acknowledgement. They were punctual, friendly, easy to communicate with, and very professional. They showed up exactly when they said they would, explained what their intentions were, got straight to work, and educated me while doing it. I'll be sure to request these two individuals in the future any time I have maintenance/cleaning done on my minisplit system.

Matthew arrived promptly, was courteous and respectful as he completed what turned out to be a difficult plumbing fix. He quickly determined the problem and suggested a solution. He checked in with his supervisor and returned with a further suggestion that was the best choice given the problem with the existing kitchen pipe installation. He explained each step involved, was efficient and quietly got to work. He fully cleaned up afterward and left the kitchen in good shape. He was well prepared and professional in every way. Had an old fitting start to leak on a Friday evening. Attempted to fix it, but realized quickly I needed help. TLC sent out Shannon Rushing to help. Shannon was quick, professional, knowledgeable and amazing to work with. I really felt he cared about helping us out and made sure to leave his info if anything else came up. 10/10 service. Daniel was so professional and thorough when he came out to assess our situation. We liked his attention to detail and his promptness of service. When our water heater broke unexpectedly, (don't they all?) and we were expecting company the next morning, Daniel called in Leo to get us in quickly. Leo is amazing!!! Today my husband and I had our heater serviced by TLC. It was a great experience. My husband called early in the day and we got someone to come out same day. Chance Tsabetsaye was our tech that came to help and he was very knowledgeable and informative. Our heater ended up being just fine, our daughter had stuck some crayons in it and it was omitting a weird smell but Chance helped us clean it out all the way and made sure to test for carbon monoxide (all clear). All-in-all excellent service! Thank you!

The whole duct cleaning process was quick and painless. The TLC technician, Ryan Clark, was very professional and thorough in his work. He explained everything and did a great job of keeping my home clean and tidy throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Ryan from TLC for all ductwork cleaning needs. For about 11 registers the whole process took maybe a little over 2 hours which was a lot less than I thought it would take.

Positive: Employees Isaac Takacs, Travis Day, & Nick (I didn't get his last name). Isaac & Nick did a great job with the installation; making sure everything connected to the water heater was in good condition, they assembled all the parts needed before setting the water heater in place (including inspecting parts already attached) and everything went together like clockwork. They knew what they were doing. I am also taking this opportunity to thank Travis Day, in his position with TLC, for his honesty and commitment to the customers, he resolved the problem I was having with the heater warranty almost immediately and did his best to schedule the replacement. He cared enough to checked back with me to verify all well They all did a very professional Job. TLC should acknowledge this as they are outstanding representatives for the company. Negative: My initial contact with TLC was far less than satisfactory, first claiming they didn't do the previous installation, then, with my invoice in hand, they needed to "check it out", and finally tried to explain to me a that a 6 year warranty (spelled out in the invoice) wasn't really a warranty, it was an unnamed additional charge incurred that I was responsible for. The "Warranty renewal for $60" wasn't really a "warranty renewal". (can you follow that?) I should have gotten their names, but I didn't. Thank heaven Travis Day got involved! Bottom Line: TLC has seems to have some uncaring dishonest employees in the main office; but where it counts, out in the field, they have some top quality technicians doing high quality work.

Called in the morning after finding my water heater ruptured, responded in less than 2 hours. Had a new tank in updated to current code in just a few hours! Quality work and explained everything being done. Will continue to use them for plumbing needs as they provide quality work, quickly and consistently.

David called me ahead of time and asked if he could come a bit earlier which was great. He sized up the situation and gave me a worst case scenario estimate which turned out to be right on the money, because of how old the shower was and the lesser quality of the original shower valve. It was a difficult job and his supervisor came by to help at one point. Iʻm a weekend warrior handyman, but this would have been way beyond my skill set. Through it all David was friendly and professional. I am so glad I called TLC and did not try to do it myself. Not long ago we had our hot water heater burst and TLC did an amazing and professional job in installing the new one...all up to code and with the same professional and friendly service.

TLC was able to upgrade our electrical panel and do all the work required to restore the room to its original Condition. That required many different disciplines. We were lucky enough to get Sam Avery for the redo in our recent custom shower remodel, tiled walk-in shower. The first installer we used was not a TLC employee. We thought we would save some money and hired a shower guy, big mistake. Shower looked good, shoddy, leaking work- we did not save money. Sam is Outstanding! Our shower remodel required complete demo of the lower section of our shower, redo of incorrectly sloped and leaking shower pan and correctly sized drain, and then tiling.From the start of the project Sam went over the remodel/repair plan. He detailed each phase, how his work would correct the issue(s) and answered my endless questions. Sam performs the highest quality of work, 10 out of 10!

Had all my ducts and vents cleaned by TLC technician Ryan Clark. The vents had not been cleaned since the house was built in 1995. It didn't take long. He explained the procedure thoroughly and was very methodical and clean. With my allergies, it was worth every penny. I can literally breathe easier. It will also keep the dust in the house down. We had a leak at the cold water valve under the master bathroom sink for a while and it was getting worse. So we decided to call around and went with TLC. Gabriel Soto was the technician that came out. He was very professional, informative and very friendly. He explained what he needed to do and gave the estimate & we agreed for him to perform the work. He actually explained everything he was doing, because I was curious. If you need to have a leak fixed this is the company to go with and I would highly recommend Gabriel as your technician!

Jonathon M and his team did a fantastic job replacing the external water line to my East Mountain home. The job took several days so we had many opportunities to talk about the project. I found the entire team to be both knowledgeable and friendly. This was one of those projects that kept getting more complex as it progressed. Jonathon devised a creative plan that, among other things, ensured easy access to turnoff valves, which was a problem for us before. The team kept me informed each step of the way so there were no surprises at the end. Most importantly, they were great with my four very active and nosy dogs! This is not my first experience with TLC, and they continue to impress me!

I’ve used TLC before but it’s been a while. Had a major yard leak issue early this morning, with a river (for NM) of water flowing into the stree. Called TLC emergency services and they were able to send someone out right away. All fixed and good to go by noon. David Dupriest provided excellent service. He provided a realistic timeline and explained the plan, explained where the issue was and why we had the leak, explained what materials were used for the repair. The city water authority person who came to shut off the water also told me we were in good hands with TLC. We will be using TLC for any of our needs. They continue to provide quality and very professional service.

I needed to have an incorrect pop-up drain assembly on my new vessel sink replaced with the correct one. The old one did not drain completely. TLC had a member of their remodel team come out to be sure it was a job they could do, since it was a tedious process. They sent a great team: Ramon and Raoul. Today, Ramon expertly removed the white manufactured stone vessel sink which that was directly attached to the quartzite vanity top with silicone adhesive. He worked very carefully to be sure not to damage the vanity top nor the sink. Simultaneously, Raoul, removed the old faucets in the guest bath and neatly replaced them with my new faucet/drain assemblies. Both were efficient and neat and were done in 2 1/2 hrs. Great Job!!! I would heartily recommend TLC

TLC was going to install a wall heater in my home and found they couldn't finish the project, leaving a wall heater sized hole. We worked out another heating solution and it was installed the next day. The hole was repaired a couple days later. Great service! I will use them for remodeling in the future, as well as plumbing and heating.

We had 2 issues. 1) a ruptured outdoor faucet bib 2) a poorly draining kitchen sink. Shannon, who took care of the outdoor hose bib issue, was on time, looked at the problem and presented 3 possible repair options, all within 12 minutes. He then proceeded to repair the problem in less than 20 minutes. He was courteous, succint with his explanations and efficient. Joseph took care of problem #2. He took care of the problem in less than 25 minutes and subsequently offered tips on preventative maintenance. Both Shannon and Joseph then told me about your company's yearly preventive maintenance program. I believe you have at least 2 very good and capable employees in these guys!

We have had several good experiences in the past but our last service call was disappointing. We wanted to replace smoke detectors with detectors that have sealed lithium ion batteries, but had purchased the wrong one. After some discussion we agreed to simply replace the lead acid batteries in the existing detectors with lithium ion batteries. The techs brought in new batteries and changed them out . After they left we discovered that they had installed lead acid and not lithium as we had discussed and agreed. Charge: $200. After a phone call to the office we were issued a $50 refund. I appreciate that but am still not happy that they didn't do the agreed upon work and were not up-front about the change. UPDATE: This review was read by an electrical department manager who subsequently called me to ask what he could do to make this right. I didn't feel that any additional action was needed, but I sincerely appreciated his concern and time in providing customer service and communication.

My gas furnace spent a week and a half short cycling. I had done all of the easy fixes and it didn't solve the problem. I needed someone to come troubleshoot the unit. Unfortunately TLC sent a clearly inexperienced technician who was under the clock pressure to get in and get out. He couldn't in 15 minutes figure out the problem so he shrugged his shoulders, told me to try calling them back if it got worse, charged me the $75 for the service call and then left. He clearly didn't have the skill to be diagnosing the problem on his own, and either didn't have anyone to call to talk him through diagnosing the problem, or it didn't occur to him to do so. It's frustrating as we have hired TLC before for plumbing work, where they did a good job on our install that we needed.

I had a problem with a shower that did not produce water at all. The valve had to be entirely replaced, which meant that the shower panel had to be removed, along with the glass doors. Sam at TLC determined that the actual problem was that the pipe leading to the shower head was blocked, which meant that work had to be done on the pipe leading to the shower head. That, in turn, involved cutting into the sheet rock and removing a section after which the wall had to be renovated. The work was completely done within a day and a half. The shower works now, and you can't tell there was any work done on the wall or shower at all. It looks perfect.

The trenchless option for the new sewer line was more expensive but worth it—all permits and inspections taken care of, completed in one day, no damage to our yard. An impressive crane operator exchanged our swamp cooler for a condenser, and the HVAC team (Brian, Jose) figured out an efficient way to connect the split system under the house to the rooftop. Watching multiple crew members crawl under the house and up a ladder for three days helped us appreciate the knowledge, labor, and cost involved with the installation. When we saw all the wires hanging out of the hole where our subpanel used to be, the electrician (Alberto) assured us he knew how to put them back together again ... and he did, taking the time to label all the circuits. A timely email provided mechanical and electrical permit inspection instructions. To finish up, the drywall remodeler (Edgar) patched up the large swamp cooler opening and other wall alterations—ready for fresh paint. Overall, the TLC teams demonstrated competence and creativity while designing and implementing plans that fit our home’s unique structure. Their professionalism, courtesy, and thoroughness made it easier to pay the bill!

Punctural, courteous, high quality. My 17 year old 50 gallon tank hot water heater went out. I called several other companies who indicated they could get to me in a few days. The TLC folks promptly responded and scheduled a time to repair or replace right away. I had to replace this aging tank and TLC did a fantastic job. While replacing my hot water heater I asked the cost to replace my ~35 year old furnace, the cost was not so bad and we scheduled to replace that within the week. Overall I paid ~$6600 for both the furnace and water heater. I thought the water heater cost was a bit high but the furnace replacement seemed reasonable. The quality of work received, the courtesy and professionalism of their technicians was 'par excellence'. They may cost a little bit of extra money (for the water tank) but well worth it. I would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.

Please teach your plumbers the simple decency of cleaning up their mess. From one tradesman to another - drywall dust and debris are inevitable. Clean it up. Very unprofessional. It detracts from any positive work you've done and leaves customers frustrated. The job in question was an in-wall gas furnace in Los Ranchos de ABQ about a month ago. Dust everywhere and sloppy/unnecessary cuts in my drywall where the chimney exits. Furthermore, the metal screws fastening the unit together were obviously overtightened and stripped out, causing the metal body to expand and contract to a high degree which in turn creates very loud creaking and groaning each cycle. Please increase your attention to detail. Thanks.

Bryan (sales) was clear about my purchasing options when looking to upgrade from swamp cooler to refrigerated air. He spoke in terms easily understood, and I never felt pressure to make a decision before I was certain. I got three quotes before deciding on TLC, all good companies, but one told me the ‘sale’ price might go up if I waited, the other said that if I did not decide quickly, inventory might be depleted and installation may not be available for months. I expected TLC might be the highest, but they were in the middle. The installation team-lead, Bart, was a very experienced HVAC Technician and his crew seemed very professional as well. They were able to schedule my job less than a week from my decision and finished the entire job in about 1-1/2 days. Now, only time will tell if the house stays more comfortable in the months ahead!! Had a pipe burst underground in our front yard and really needed it fixed fast, called tlc and they came and checked everything out, they gave a free estimate (unlike Albuquerque plumbing, heating & cooling where they charge you whether they fix it or not) and we decided to go with them because we've always had good experiences with them. It took a couple of days to get fixed but they fixed the issue and they even charged less than was estimated! Definitely will be using tlc for all our plumbing needs.

A week ago we had our evaporative cooler replaced by Jose and TLC. The process was very simple, although super hot for tech with 100 degree temps on the rooftop 🥵. Of course the service we received was very professional. Jose took time to explain about the unit we purchased and the design that made it one of the best for our home. Ordinarily you don’t get this kind of detail and Customer Service with just any company or service technician/installer. So much so that we just inquired today about replacing the second evaporative unit our home has, since the 17yr old remaining one can’t seem to cool above 77 degrees. Carlos with scheduling was also AWESOME when we initially called a few weeks ago, after another company we were going to use ignored us and would not return our calls/emails. We received 3+ estimates from several companies, and although TLC looks to be more expensive…you also get what you pay for. And with TLC, its been excellent customer service where everyone has been professional and very knowledgeable. Also great warranties.

TLC staff was able to coordinate and perform multiple projects and repairs including plumbing repairs, furnace installation, hot water heater installation, air conditioning installment, and all associated electrical upgrades and city permit applications. They worked hand in hand with the roofers while installing the new unit on the roof. Every employee I had the pleasure of meeting and working with was professional and courteous - looking out for what the best solutions would be for my particular issues. I’d like to personally recognize Danny, Carlos, Jose, and John for their attention to detail with this project. I’m unable to recall the names of the other fine employees at this moment but please extend my gratitude for their hard work. I’ll definitely be using TLC again for my future needs.

We were hearing the sound of a water leak in the wall of our kitchen. Called TLC for emergency service. Within an hour we had a very knowledgeable tech on sight who worked quickly to diagnose this issue and offer options. Unfortunately, the leak was a result of the use of polybutylene piping. He was willing to repair the leak but assured us this was just the first leak of what will be many due to the faulty materials used in the construction of the house. He recommended re-piping the entire house. After doing some research, we decided to do the re-pipe. TLC got us a quote within 2 days. They were on-site one day latter and the work was completed within three days. The team doing the work was exceptionally professional and patient with the elderly women living in the home, answering questions and reassuring them of the progress being made. The entire endeavor could have been stressful and anxiety filled -- but it wasn't. It was a learning experience that ended with a sense of accomplishment and confidence on the part of the home owners. TLC was here within 2 hours of calling. A very young plumber Tony showed up and got to digging down in the mud hole right away. TLDR: AC broke, they came out quickly and fixed it. Even with the extra after hours charge for Saturday service the cost was less than I expected. My air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night and I woke up baking on a Saturday morning. TLC responded quickly to schedule same day service. Alfredo was at my house about 2 hours after I called. Alfredo was very professional and showed me what he was doing and why and quickly discovered the problem. Alfredo completed the repair but my air was still not cold. He then figured out the compressor wasn't working. Instead of trying to sell me a new compressor right away Alfredo and Roy took the time to troubleshoot and figured out the compressor was just over heated. With a little hose down on the compressor, my air was frosty once more. My husky and I thank you!

I had a clog somewhere in the plumbing of my house.. When i called TLC the person on the phone was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and told me how i should go about fixing the problem. We landed on having someone come out with a high powered snake. Someone showed up same day I called: it took about 30 to 45 minutes. He was able to clear the clog, reviewed camera footage of the pipes to make sure nothing was wrong, and educated me on common problems and fixes for home plumbing. For about 120 dollars I definitely got my moneys worth.

I am waiting a few more days to see if everything falls through as expected. So far so good! Review update to come soon... -- Original Review -- I have been a customer for almost three years. They are really the only plumbing company I have used since buying my first home. It is an old home and we need maintenance all the time. Price range - is on the high side. But I wanted to work with a company that would get things done in a timely manner and do the job right. This summer, we called TLC to get our swamp cooler going. I asked if we needed to provide new pads or if the tech will bring their own to replace. The person I spoke with said that tech will bring all material. $250 gone and after the tech left, I realized I did not see that he tooked our old pads. That same week our swamp stopped working. The tech did come back that same day. I was nervous because I only had a 1 yr warranty on my swamp cooler and that day was the last day. We found out the belt fell off and within minutes it was working. We did not get a charge. Thank goodness. I found it strange that it was not checked during the time it was turned on. Now I could not get the pads changed unless I paid more. I was told it was not on the original work order. I felt defeated and let them go. Our swamp cooler smells musky. We have dropped in swamp cooler odorizers. But the smell comes back. Today my swamp cooler was making a noise and again has stopped working! We shut it off, but now we smell an odor coming into the house. This is horrible and we are at our wits ends. We bought a new unit that we could not afford and needed family to help us with the cost. Now - it has been the worst experience a year later and I am in tears. This evening we are going to try replacing the pads and clean the unit the best we can. I hope the belt fell off again and we can figure out what to do. We have never worked on swamp coolers before. I can't afford TLC anymore. There is a positive note (which is why this is not a 1 star review) - every tech that has come into our home have been courteous and have helped explain their process. Their customer service is good on the phone. But the cost of work is so high and I don't see the quality of work being to our benefit. I will never use this company again.

Always get a second opinion!! My A/C stopped working. Called TLC for a diagnosis. They did come out in a timely manner. They said the compressor needed to be replaced and they no longer make the parts. They suggested a new unit ranging from $13,000 to $15,000. We got a second opinion through another company. Our A/C is now up and running again with an $80 part. Edit/Update: TLC's Keanu called to apologize and refunded the diagnostic fee. We appreciate the professionalism and courtesy of correcting the mistake!!

I can’t say enough good things about Roy Rodriquez at TLC. Make a note of his name and ask for him - he came promptly, was extremely professional and courteous, and listened to what had happened. Based on the information I gave him about work that had been done yesterday, and that I had checked my breakers and reset switch and tried to “re-boot” the thermostat, he was able to eliminate several potential causes and diagnose the issue. He had my completely “dead” a/c unit working within 15 minutes of his arrival. I am SO pleased. Here is the rest of the story: I have a contract with a different company for twice-yearly inspections/readiness checks on my heating and A/C systems. That company came out yesterday, Friday, and did my spring “tune-up.” Their technician left at 5 p.m. and at 9 p.m. I realized that the house was getting hot and the A/C had not kicked on. I called their number only to get a message that they don’t do after-hours service, which I didn’t realize when I purchased their “Comfort Plan” last November. The message said they would call me back on the next business day - which would be Monday. This morning, Saturday, I called 11 companies after doing a Google search for “emergency air-conditioning repair” in Albuquerque. Despite advertising 24/7 availability, most of them said they only do weekend work for current customers. TLC’s answering service took my information at a little before 11 a.m. and said they would have a technician available sometime today, but couldn’t give me a time. Luckily, he called less than an hour later, at around 11:45, and was on his way. Roy arrived just before noon and by 12:15, had found that the service tech from yesterday had left two wires disconnected…the wire nut had been removed, then not replaced, so the thermostat was sending to the unit, but it wasn’t getting power. Wow - within 1 1/2 hours of my first call to TLC, I had a working A/C unit. I feel so lucky that TLC sent out Roy Rodrigues - he is such an asset to their team. Thanks to him, TLC just got a new customer!

It was around 7:00 last night when we realized our air conditioner was not working. I started looking for emergency air conditioner repair. I can tell you this. TLC is the ONLY company who are TRULY an emergency service repair company. The rest take a number. Never call back. Some only do warranty work after hours. Some have answering machine. So they may “say” they are emergency service, but they are not. Their advertising is misleading. So the next time you find yourself in a bind and need after hours emergency help for electrical, plumbing, HVAC or heating repair call TLC. Don’t bother going down the list that pops up on Google. You will not find anyone to help. At TLC a “live” person will take down your information and then call you back with updates. Our service repair professional arrived around 9:30. Was finished shortly before 10:00. The price was definitely fair. Very thankful for their help.

We had to have them come back to take the canisters down while we were having some warranty work on the garage stoop where the system was. Jay the manager in Albuguerque assigned Javier Guterrez to come out to remove the canisters and also replace them a few days later after my work was done, and did not charge us for this work. Many companies would not have hesitated to charge us. This company has been family owned for over 30 years and I am impressed by the quality of work and professional service we received, very above board in our opinion. Tlc lead by Ramon Ramos built a Brand new 3/4 bath into our studio. Ramon did the plumbing and drain work , custom shower build out with custom tile in shower and all doors. His team also did all of the framing, drywall and paint including replacing a window with exterior double doors and moving an interior door to a new location. The job was perfect.
