They were really good at changing orders last minute before shipped out and also making sure I had back up medicine in case one shipment didn’t come through (they sent another one just in case due to Fed Ex delaying the shipment, which has never happened to me before).

Wish I had more options, but was blessed most agents did thorough work, some did not use my coupon or I had to remind them. Others were on the spot and well versed with medication knowledge. Overall pricey if no insurance, but they were quick with delivery, except some agents needed to read all responses or know how to look up certain information. Incorrect needle sizes given which punctured my skin intense first round second time they fixed the problem.

My insurance required me to use CVS Specialty Pharmacy in order to cover any fertility medications. However, the prices were still astronomical. Without filing insurance, Fertility Pharmacy of America’s prices were cheaper by about half (saving me thousands)! Also, they are very professional, easy to contact, and usually ship medications within the day. My experience with this company has been fantastic.

Cost of IVF meds through FPA is significantly less than I would pay through my insurance's preferred pharmacy (CVS) even with some benefit coverage specifically for fertility medications. I will certainly be using them for future stimulation cycles. My only issue is I can never get someone on the phone when I call, and I end up having to leave a message after trying to wait ten minutes. Then I just hope I am free to catch the call when they make the return call. For simple things (like a shipping confirmation and tracking info), emailing them is way faster. Overall, yes they are the best option to save cost with IVF related expenses.

While I did receive my medicine, the communication from the pharmacy was far less than I would’ve like. When I called in to pay and give my contact information, I was told I would receive a receipt and tracking information shortly after our call. After not receiving my receipt or tracking information after a few hours (when the transaction had already posted in my bank account), I called back to verify they had the correct information. This representative explained they had 1 letter incorrect but he would update it and resend my receipt and tracking information. I never received either. My prescription needed to be overnighted so it could be administered the next evening. I called back the following day (the day I needed the medicine) and had to leave a voicemail for the on-call pharmacist. I never got a return call. So, like I said, I did receive the medicine, but the communication was lacking.

I’ve ordered from this pharmacy several times and have had mostly positive experiences. They always overnight my shipment to me and give great customer service over the phone. This last time, however, I called to order my refill and was told one of my prescriptions was $92.00, as per usual. I got a phone call the following day from Fertility Pharmacy of America informing me that the prescription “as of yesterday” is now $107.00 and I was asked “do you still want it”? I said yes as I needed it and didn’t want to argue, but I felt this very unprofessional of the pharmacy to tell me one price over the phone one day then call me the following day telling me a different amount they needed to charge me. I even gave them my card information and was under the impression she would run my card for the $92.00, so I’m not sure why it wasn’t ran until the following day anyway. Something to keep in mind when ordering from this pharmacy.

I have ordered from FPA twice now and both times has been a super smooth transaction. My doctor sends the prescription directly to FPA and all I have to do is call, give them my name, and verify the medication. After that, 1-2 days later, your medicine is at your house. On vacation? Your medicine can be sent to you or to the nearest walgreens for a fedex pickup which was absolutely amazing! Thank you FPA for making the steps involved with infertility, all the easier.

Great customer service! ⬇️Has nothing to do with the pharmacy. Just the ⬇️company who shipped it. The one thing I would suggest is to NOT ship through FedEx anymore. FedEx gave my package to a third party shipper and did not have the company’s name that took over my package. It was supposed to be an overnight shipment and I got it late the next day. Signature was required for the package and that company signed for me and left it at the door. I’m not happy it arrived super late and I’m not comfortable with FedEx not knowing the name of the company they released my medicine to which makes me super uncomfortable injecting myself with it. FedEx tried blaming the company for how it was shipped. When I called the pharmacy, the pharmacist had told me he’s never heard of this before. I have not even received a call back from FedEx regarding this matter and they told me it would be 24hrs. 24hrs is up. Please change the way it’s shipped and not go through FedEx ever again.

We actually had some lower price quotes from other pharmacies but after speaking with Fertility Pharmacy of America over the phone, we decided to go with them because of the excellent customer service. Prices are comparable to other US options and a wide variety of medications available. 2 of the 3 orders I have placed did not arrive in time. The first was due to extreme weather in Nashville, and luckily I ordered early. The second, I ordered on a Friday in the middle of an unexpected duostim cycle. It seemed as though the order was not processed until very late in the day Monday as the shipping label was not created until 5pm MT. Needless to say the order did not arrive the following day as requested and I ran out of Menopur. I was able to purchase vials from my clinic but ended up with extra vials that I could not return to FPA or my clinic. If you have plenty of time, they should be OK, if you need medication on a timeline, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Most of my interactions with their staff were positive except when trying to track my second delayed package.

Shipment was quick. However, with my second shipment of progesterone, I asked for extra syringes because a couple in my first shipment had white on the needles. Unfortunately, I did not receive any extra syringes as requested. Also, I was not sent any alcohol pads in the second shipment and was always shorted alcohol pads in prior shipments. Disappointed.

We had a little hiccup with our bank denying the payment due to thoughts of fraudulent charges and FPA was very quick to inform us and offer financial help but we had contacted the bank and got the process moving rather quickly!

My doc sent all of the prescriptions for treatment. I called the pharmacy to check on the status and they were starting to get prior authorization on two scripts, which they did. This was great news. Then they quoted me cash prices that my insurance didn’t cover the rest of the meds. After I got things sorted out, a couple meds from them, two with the PA to my insurance approved pharmacy and then another to a pharmacy where the cash price was better…that pharmacy told me my insurance covered the script. However at that point I could not get it in time with my insurance so I had to cash pay. So, in the end, their pros are: got prior authorization seamlessly, transferred scripts to other pharmacies quickly. Cons: didn’t accurately inform me of what was run through/covered by my insurance. They told me they could provide shipping by a certain day the following week and then the next day called back to tell me that that speed would cost a fee. That was disappointing. Otherwise their customer service was nice and I would have preferred to leave my scripts with them.

My fertility doctor’s office suggested this pharmacy as a cheaper option and deliver on time. I was disheartened to learn that my payflex health card could not be used at this pharmacy. I have not encountered that in any other pharmacy and wonder if it was actually cheaper because I had to pay out-of-pocket here. I would give 3 stars, but employee Andrew was incredible... so thanks to him I’m giving 4 stars. My experience wasn’t great, and I know it’s not completely this company’s fault. But when the pharmacist called me to schedule my delivery, I told her there was no way I could be present to sign for my package, she said it would be no problem... which was not true at all. Me not being present was a huge problem because the delivery day also happened to be a Saturday and I did not receive my package that day or the following day (Sunday) because fedex was closed. Therefore, I had to start my medication two days late which pushed my procedure two days which made me have to request more days off from work. It ended up being a much larger problem. If she had just told me in the beginning I had to be present, I would have made it happen. Anyway, Andrew called me down when I was having a meltdown on the phone and he really made me feel better. Overall, I would go through this company again if I had to but I would know in the future that I would have to be present for delivery regardless of what the person says on the phone. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when my doctor informed that this was where my medication would be coming from. Every single employee I spoke with was extremely friendly and made everything so simple. I’ve had this same medication through a local pharmacy and even with a supposed discount from my old doctor’s office, it was much more expensive than FPA. I was also nervous that i wouldn’t receive my prescription in time because I accident forgot to call days in advance. Thankfully it was overnighted and got to me in time. Truly blessed to have worked with this company.

You have to wait on hold forever to actually talk to a representative. If you wait on hold long enough, it transfers you to a voicemail and even if you leave 2 voicemails asking someone to call you back ASAP so you can pay for your prescription, you never get a call back. However, they do have very fast overnight shipping that does show up on time.

This was my first time ever using fertility pharmacy of America. I’m a surrogate so it wasn’t going to be me paying for my meds. There was a bit of a mix up as to finding the card on my file that had been put there previously from my case manager and someone not notating enough on my account from that interaction so future agents weren’t aware of what was going on but once we got that figured out, it was smoothing sailing from there and I received my meds the very next day. They were fast friendly and knowledgeable and willing to get to the bottom of the issue. I would def recommend them!

I called three times in one week about because every time I called the price changed. First guy I talked to said my bill was $889 so I was like that not bad I’ll pay you on Monday. I called again to make sure the price was right that I heard and it changed to $3,035.99, I called the following day after talking to my Dr. and the price jumped again to $3,307.99. There is no way that total wasn’t there and how can the prices be so far off from each other. We were fortunate enough to be able to come up with that money in two days but for those who can’t that just ridiculous. I called today to order the rest of my meds and asked what is the total I had left and was told $3,707.99, to me she wasn’t listening to what I was asking cause the total I had left to pay was around $500. I’ve used this company twice to order meds. The first time I thought there were issues because I was just setting up my account for the first time. This second time I know it’s the company. My doctors office sent over my prescription on a Friday morning. I know there is a time difference between where I’m at and where their office is and I believe they are closed on the weekends. Monday around 1pm my time I decided to call them and see if they got my order. The girl on the phone was very nice and assured me that they would have reached out to me on their own that day to set up my shipment. My meds came the next day along with a text finally from them about processing my order so had I not called myself I would have gotten my meds a day late. Only use this company if you are ordering way in advance because it is too stressful if you start a cycle with how slow they are.
