I used them before Covid, Sean set up mu imtial appointment. After Capitol Pest 1st initial visit the rodents ceased . They came quarterly. I was pleased with their monthly fee, services and communications of Brian, my service guy and the receptionist.( I forgot their names)

My experience from start to finish has been exceptional. We bought an older house that is our dream-forever home. Needless to say, we got a surprise when we got an unexpected mice problem. I called the call center and the operator was so courteous and knowledgeable and reassured me that this was an issue they could solve. He walked me through the process and sent Steve, the inspector and Edguard, the technician, quickly. Both were very professional, explained what we was seeing and gave us measures to assist us. They were thorough, knowledgeable and very personable. I can tell you that me and my husband were in a panic but they were so detailed and thorough in their inspections and explanations that me and my husband calmed down. They gave us a great package and the follow ups appointments were set up within days. I highly recommend this company. The service is one of the best I’ve ever received. We live in a very wooded area and had a different company for our outdoor pest treatment, I can tell you we canceled the contract with them and turned all out treatment needs to Capital Pest. Thank you Capital Pest, you saved the day and our dream house.

I used Capitol Pest for my first 3 years at my home. They were great, price matched, always attentive, professional, courteous, on time and never complained when i wanted additional treatments. They did a great job and their products were effective. We tried to save a little bit of money and switched to a different company last year. While they were also great, their products were not as effective. We're back with Capitol Pest and couldn't be happier. No complaints and a totally satisfied customer!

I had a bad nice problem. I caught nine on my own and they were still coming so we called the pest company. They required us to sign a year contract because they said it’s needed to control rodents. a week after they first came there were four mice in the traps they set when they came for their second visit. 11 days later they came again for their third visit which is today and there were no mice caught, no mice droppings or activity anywhere. Hooray!! We had them spray for ants inside when they came for the second visit because we saw a lot of ants. Since then we saw only one out and I was today so they sprayed again inside. The only thing I’m not totally happy with is the price/having to sign a years contract. Everything else is excellent! Alba our technician has provided excellent service!! The saying is you get what you paid for so overall we are extremely happy with the results!

I have used American Pest and Orkin and Capitol Pest is by far the better company. I assume they are better than many of the others out there that I did not use. They truly take care of you right from the moment you contact them. You feel like they truly care and listen to your issue. If you’ve been fighting unwanted guests for a long time with no progress, just feeling listened to goes a long way. Their initial evaluation over the phone was reassuring and helpful, they got someone out here within the following two days and when they did come out the tech spent almost 2 hours with me in my small home explaining his process and educating me (something that the other companies never did). Most of all he was polite and friendly and made me feel comfortable. The report I got was very helpful as well as it talks about the things you need to change in your home to prevent the critters from taking over your home like cleaning your oven or stopping water leaks and so on. Unfortunately I had to stop the service simply because I’m moving but I can tell you if they ever serviced my new area I would use them hands down. Don’t waste your time or money and go anywhere else but here.

I don’t often see him when he arrives early to do regular inspections and exterior treatments, however when I do see him he is friendly, knowledgeable and engaging and listens intently to my concerns.

I've been very pleased with Capitol Pest. We had ground bees which prompted my first contact. They dealt with them quickly and professionally. Recently, we discovered a mouse issue. Their technician, Michael, arrived right on time for the appointment, communicated very clearly what he was finding and set bait stations and traps. He returned two weeks later to see the results and let me know that things look to be OK, but that we can have things double-checked when we get our next quarterly insect treatment.

My technician, Edward arrived earlier than scheduled and called to inform that he would be early, which I truly appreciated. I scheduled a technician through Summit Hills Apartments in Silver Spring, MD to come out to my unit to spray for cockroaches. Robert Bonham was my technician and his service was excellent. I have lived at Summit Hills six years and half of that time, lived in ground floor apartments that have constant cockroaches adorning the spaces. I have had many technicians come out who usually spend a few minutes spraying common areas with little to no interaction needed from me. Robert, though, really made sure every nook and cranny was taken care of, including spraying outside my patio door and caulking up several areas that are common cockroach spots - something no technician has ever done previously. He even took the care to explain cockroach patterns (like the warm spaces in the laundry room, which is a common infested area and is just down the hall from my unit.) He further was able to explain some company history to me, so when I asked him how long he had worked for Capitol Pest, I was shocked when he said, "one year." Not only was his service excellent, but his customer service was the pinnacle of my experience. In these times of isolation, his spirit and personability really made my day - who would have thought pest control would be the best part of a person's day! I've noticed other Google Reviews noted Robert's excellent service. He deserves these recognitions.

The gentleman that did my apartment was very professional. He was nice. I have 2 cats, I asked if the stuff would hurt them. He said he would make sure I will only put where they can’t get to it. We are updating our master bedroom and hallway bathroom. During this process we started seeing yellow jacks coming through our walls. I called a Capital Pest for emergency service and they sent someone the same day and no charge. After talking to the lady she believed we took care of the yellow jackets. But I opted for them to come back to open walls to try to ensure the nest or jackets are dead. They came back opened the wall and didn’t see anything. They didn’t charge me since they didn’t see the nest nor activity. This business is great. I love how they are truly an honest company and not charging me. I will be coming them for my bug needs. Called them as I heard scratching sounds coming from my attic. Initial technician was very friendly, came out promptly and identified the problem as mice, and got us set up with a plan to take care of the issue. The techs who came out to inspect the property more thoroughly and lay traps/ set bait did a great job and were also very friendly. Responsiveness from the front office could be a bit better; they were supposed to call me to schedule a visit to seal up the potential mice entry points on the outside of the house, and did not do so until their service technician called them to remind them. Plus their website lets you speak to someone during off-business hours but you can’t actually get someone from the office on the weekends - I had a concern on a Saturday and they were unable to address it until Monday. That is understandable but slightly frustrating - don’t bother with having a mobile electronic chat option if you can’t actually follow up. Relatively minor frustration, all in all.

I have been impressed with their responsiveness in coming out multiple times to get rid of mice in our attic. Edguard Argueta is the pest control professional who comes to our house to do the work. He kept on coming until the mice have disappeared, as best I can tell. He brought his supervisor once for an additional examination, in case he had missed something. Whenever I have called, someone always answers the phone and responds to whatever issue I have. The service contract is not inexpensive, but in our case, a 1-year contract was better than getting one visit from a different company, which would not have been enough for our infestation. We have been pleased.

Capitol Pest gives high quality, professional and friendly pest control service. I use their maintenance ace plans for insects, rodents, termites and mosquitoes, and have used them to trap and remove a rat that had moved in. They use effective low impact pesticides and give a written service report with recommendations for every visit. They give good honest advice and I recommend them highly.

I had a rodent issue that my wife noticed, I was talking with my coworker about the mice asking them if they recommend what we should do. They said to call capitol pest. I called about 2pm. The lady on the phone was very professional and patiently listened to my concerns. They were prompt in getting David the inspector out before 5pm to access our issue. They even sent me a email with David’s picture for my security and piece of mind since my wife was going to be home along with our kids. He accessed the issue and assured us that they will get the issue under control and prevent them from getting in with there seal up plan. These guys are on there best. They even have a Zoologist that trains hem in specializing in mice and rats. We also did the quarterly service for rodents and insect control. Thank you capitol pest helping us. We reached out to Capitol Pest to help figure out an issue with a major drain fly infestation in our home. They were very responsive and provided guidance throughout the entire process. Russ, Hugo D, Hugo F and Ashley were extremely patient with answering all of my questions and worries when dealing with this infestation. Capitol Pest suspected it was a slab leak and sure enough The plumbing leak detection specialists confirmed this a few days after Capitol Pest came to visit our home. It turned out we had a kitchen/laundry drain slab leak (15’ cast iron pipe replaced today). It was a huge effort to coordinate all the contractors involved to fix the pipe under the slab and Capitol Pest made sure to fit me into their schedule to treat the trench and were very flexible and accommodating. Updated: rating & review😊 The technician, David was great. He came out to show me the different packages and setup my appointment for my initial startup service. But, everything after that initial meeting has lead to my review. If I could give zero stars I would. Dealing with this company has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered in a while. The people who answer the phone calls have been polite. But, politeness has not been able to resolve my issue. I am scheduled to receive my first initial setup service on July 10th. But, I was billed for a monthly payment on July 1st. It clearly states in the contract that "monthly payments begin the following month AFTER your initial setup". I called on the 1st to inquire about this and was reassured that Connie in accounting would be contacting me by close of business that day to correct this issue. Close to close of business, I still hadn't heard back. So, I called to find out the status of my inquiry. I was again reassured that Connie would be contacting me the next day and that she would be able to not only correct the charge, but also initiate the cancellation process if I would like to cancel. (The difficulty I was experiencing in reaching someone who could actually help me, and thinking about how difficult it would be if I had any issues going forward lead me to inquire about canceling the service altogether). Another 24 hours later, the afternoon of the 2nd, when I tried to follow up, my number had been blocked. I could get through when I called from any other number but my own. I called from another number and spoke to someone named Joseph who again took my information to forward it to the person in accounting who would resolve my issue and cancel my service. Of course, no one got back to me. So, here I am today... Parked outside the Bethesda "location" which is nothing but an unoccupied rundown building. I, yet again, called customer service. The person on the phone seemed shocked and unsure of how to respond when I informed her that I was parked at the location and had went to the door and saw that it was unoccupied. After an awkward silence... She took down my information, assured me that it would be urgently be forwarded to the appropriate person and asked if there was anything else... I will update on Monday July 6th. It's frustrating because I was actually excited to work with this company. I read so many good reviews and I've seen them servicing other properties in my area. But, the lack of communication, shifty business location, and blocking a customer who has a legitimate concern... I hope someone actually reaches out to me. But, until then, it's a no from me. [UPDATE] Thursday July 9th, I am back to update my experience and review ( few days late). The OWNER himself apologized and processed the refund of the incorrect charge, explained how they had moved from the Bethesda location a few weeks ago. It seems, I was caught in a rare "perfect storm" of things that could go wrong, and I have been assured that this is not Capitol Pest's standard of service. I mean, they actually searched me down to correct this situation (Chef Tay Luv, of course, is not my gov't name, lol). They seem to be a family business that cares about customer experiences. I mean, how often do you complain about your service and the actual owner jumps in to resolve it and apologize? I have to admit, I'm excited about it because... I am deathly afraid of the spiders in my basement. I just.. CAN'T. I'm shivering with the "heebie jeebies" just thinking about it. So, I really want to continue with my setup and service tomorrow.

Have an old family home that is 40 years old and discovered a terrible mice infestation problem stemming from the garage and house. Overall, we had close to 200 mice (mostly in the garage and then they ran into the house).
