Walter D. (VB Sales Regional Manager) & Dan F. (Regional Manager) are THE BEST! My husband & I were going to cancel our service due to some communication issues & other issues, but when we called Walter & Dan came same day to address our issues. They heard our concerns & found the source of the problems we were having. Dan even scheduled to come with the technician to ensure all the issues are addressed. We were going to cancel today if it was not for the amazing customer service & professionalism of Walter & Dan. I never really write reviews, but I was so impressed by them & felt like they deserved some recognition for their amazing service!

I have had tech Steven R (1566) come out a few times now and I have not one complaint. He has been very transparent and clear on the treatment that Im getting currently being that I'm new to having to deal with my issue I'm having in my home. He's super nice and he doesn't come in and have a cold demeanor about him he'll converse with my boys and I. He does a great job very efficient and quick but never leaves anything unfinished. He answers all of my questions because I definitely have a thousand !

The distinction they have is in their servicemen. Chris G is my guy, and he is the best . He knows his stuff he’s professional, polite and friendly. He’s really the MacGyver of pest control. I stick with them over the years, because of the service is a provide, and the people that stand behind it.

Edward was very nice polite helpful..Very knowledgeable about what was going on. I have roof rats and he told me what I needed to do to get rid of them. THE young man Brian was very nice and professional both were. He came and did the traps and bait for the roof rats and sprayed also for other bugs I didn't ask. He told me nicely how it was done. To call in a week to check on the traps.

After using Orkin for more than a year, with no resolution to our rodent issue, we switched to Terminix and could not be happier that we did. We have had the pleasure working with Danny who has been an absolute life saver! My name is Gloria Anderson And I had the pleasure of having one of your amazing technicians come to treat my condo of gnat infestation. Your technicians name is Jason. When Jason first came to my condo I explained the situation to him. He immediately knew where the infestation was coming from and started the treatment process. As he was treating the drains he made sure he explained everything to me in detail. A few days later the infestation problem worsened I called your office and they sent Jason back to my home. Jason began his treatment process once again. I went away for the weekend and when I got home the infestation resumed.::I called the office and within minutes jason called me and said he was meeting with his regional manager to see what else could be done. He came back with something stronger and I am both happy and relieved to say the infestation is gone! Jason was kind, compassionate and truly listened to my concerns. He never showed up bothered or irritated because he had to keep retuning back to re-treat. On top of Jason treating the gnats, he went above and beyond and sealed a gap under my kitchen sink (for fear of any other infestations) annnnnd he put traps in both bathrooms. I am truly blessed that he went above and beyond to help me and fine a solution to my problem. U guys have a keeper in this gentleman and I pray that yal realize that!!

Dave Steinert was extremely professional, responsive and helpful with a recent transaction I had as a Realtor selling a home in Salem. The home was under warranty with Terminix when one of the contractors performing some work found some soft wood at a door he was replacing. Dave came right out and walked the whole house and noted a few other places that needed repair. Dave was on top of it and had a crew out to repair the damage within a few days. Dave was very quick to respond by phone and I would not hesitate to recommend him to future clients.

We are very pleased with Terminix. Scheduling was quick and easy for both our estimate inspection (which was free), as well as our extermination appointment. Edward came out to do our inspection, I really appreciated that he called me when a cancellation happened and offered to come sooner. This worked out great. He was very thorough while searching for signs of pests in and outside of the home. He answered all my questions in a way that made me feel really comfortable putting my trust and committing money to Terminix. A couple of days later Scott came out to handle the extermination. Our experience with him was very similar to our with Edward, both technicians were very knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with, and both were stress free experiences and it was great to spend time out back without being bit.

Christopher came to my home on Oct 26 to spray the quarterly treatment. He asked if I was having any issues with the water bugs. I told him that I did see a couple and he checked under the sinks downstairs and upstairs in the kitchen and said things looked OK. I then told him the wasp nest he sprayed last time still had some activity around it. He was able to spray it better from the upstairs window, that was right in front of the nest, and knock it down.

I've been a customer of Terminix for almost 34 years. Not by choice, only because the contract came with the house and the "switching costs" are so high it makes it nearly impossible to pick a different provider. The house is 100 years old and has never had any problems with termites but I'm stuck with these guys. That said, there have been years where they were adequate, and years where they were very frustrating to deal with. In particular, my wife and I work long hours during the week and never have time on a weekday to wait for the Terminix guy to come. So, we ALWAYS schedule their inspection for a Saturday. Always... And then every year I get the call from their schedulers asking me if they can come on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I ask them to please make a note for next time that we ALWAYS do Saturdays, and sure enough the next year rolls around and they suggest Thursday or Monday or whatever. They have NEVER suggested a Saturday. So... I keep the contract "just in case" and will for the forseeable future. Take that for what it's worth.

I have been using Terminix for the last 2 years and have been very pleased with the service. For the last year my technician has been Steve Rahinsky and he’s awesome! He’s very thorough with his treatments and was very patient with me while we were working through some pest issues at our home. Is Terminix the cheapest company in town? Probably not, but It gives me great peace of mind to I know I can call Terminix between service visits if an issue arrises. Steve will be out within a reasonable time frame to address it!

For the past 10 years, Octavio has pretty regularly been our Terminix Technician. This includes when we first moved in and discovered a roof rat problem-ugh! Thankfully the roof rats were eradicated, and the attic/crawl space were sealed. Octavio is always friendly and he’s kept our house pest free (including checking the outside bait boxes that give me peace of mind). On our past 2 quarterly services, Chris Sawyer has been our Terminix technician. He is also polite and friendly and does a thorough job. Thank you for having quality and trustworthy employees :)

When I first called them they came out the next day. Every time a technician comes out they are very knowledgeable, helpful & pleasant. When I call for an appointment I can get one within a day or two. I'm extremely happy with their service.

Ask 4 people and get 4 different answers if not 5. Call center wait time is 30 minutes minimum. Sales promises one thing and service delivers another. No one part of the organization appears to be coordinated with the other. Techs come out and install bait traps and the next day a call center person calls to schedule installation of bait traps. They show up to dehumidify a crawl space and don't schedule an electrician to wire it for another week and a half, then more time elapsed before other technicians show up to actually turn the unit on, all the while your crawl space is sealing in humidity now until they can get around to it. All after the inspector "code name sales guy" promises this will all be part of one swift and closely coordinated process. What a crock. Highly recommend you shop around. UPDATE 10/10 - Am appreciative of the effort made to bring the issues to a conclusion. The solution appears to be finally functioning as represented/intended. Want to acknowledge David S of Terminix, who has put forth a genuine effort to successfully bridge the gaps and address remaining issues. So far so good. Hoping this was a speed bump, as nothing is perfect all of the time, and watching to see the service level going forward. In all fairness, the final service to address the issues was close to if not a 5, but hard to avoid how dysfunctional and disruptive it was in the first few weeks (I left much off of the first review, as I do not like posting things, but when you have had enough you have had enough). We are going to continue service and see how it goes. I appreciate their acknowledgment of the issues and the effort put forth to resolve them. Thank you.

Not only are they immensely efficient but they are friendly and super punctual! Always ready to help no matter what and I mean no matter what! I ended up asking for inspection a few times, as I was hunting for good company with sustainable price range. Their quotes are valid for 30 days only. By the time I could make up my decision the timeline passed, so they happily came again and gave me free quote. I highly recommend them.

We have been Terminex customers for decades, and have been pleased with our technicians. Today, however, we received excellent service, above and beyond what was expected. I called to have our crawl space inspected and deodorized since the critters are back. Joey, the technician who came today, was wonderful - friendly, experienced, conscientious, and thorough. Without our asking (or even thinking of it), he conducted an inspection of all the vents and structures around the exterior of the house. He found a small opening by the heat pump that no one had discovered, where the rodents are getting into the crawl space. He immediately sealed it with concrete. Our problems would have continued without his thoughtfulness. We greatly appreciate Joey and Scott, who does an equally exceptional job with pest control.

I have been extremely disappointed and upset with the quality of contractors of ALL sorts in Virginia Beach. They lie, cheat, steal and have done slipshod work in nearly every area. Then I met Octavio, my service tech from Terminix, and he restored my faith in such folks. It is hard to contact these people. You cannot call a local office. The phone rings and rings. They treated my termites but left a mess. I am adding this here because I cannot respond to the owner's comment. If you call that number sometimes no one answers, it will ring and ring and no one picks up. It is frustrating.

The consultation was more thorough than the actual treatment and what was explained wasn’t actually performed. Unfortunately, I’m still seeing activity. Unsure if I want to continue with service due to the price and the problem still hasn’t resolved.

Highly recommended. Terminex installed a crawl space vapor barrier after removal of all debris. I had been considering doing this before and I am very glad I did. All involved were very professional and courteous. The initial inspection was as done as before, with a low key approach to replacing the old vapor barrier that became marginally effect after our house rehab many years ago. I did not have excessive moisture in the crawl space, so a more expensive encapsulation with dehumidifier wasn’t needed. I called Terminix for a problem with wasp. I was at work but my son was home. Octavio came to the house. He called and told me what he had done about the wasp and what to expect. While I had him on the phone, I asked about water bugs and if he could treat for them. He told me because it was raining and windy, he couldn't put down the powder he usually uses but there is something he can put in the house to stop them. Even though he didn't come to take care of that, he took care of it for me while on site. He is my normal technician and is ALWAYS very nice and respectful to me and the family any time he comes. The Regional Manager, Bill contacted me to resolve any issues I was having. The technician and the branch manager both serviced my house within 2 days of my review. The Regional Manager followed up to make sure any issues were resolved in a timely fashion and also sent the technician back for a follow up after 1 week of service. I have not seen any ants or spiders since. I’ve been a customer of Terminix for several years. I always typically have a great experience. Lately, that is not the case. I am having problems with ants and spiders. None of the treatments seem to work. Until this year, Terminix has always kept them under control. I’m not sure if they are using a new treatment. If this is the case, it’s not working. I’ve tried scheduling an appointment, but no one answers the phone and leaving a message is pointless, because no one calls you back.

Arrived on time and kept me informed of everything they did...…..this is an update...….shortly after your services were performed the water dispenser and ice maker on my refrigerator ceased working. The repair estimates and time led me to purchase a new refrigerator, $900. It was installed today and both functions still did not work. I called a plumber today ($120). It turned out the line was turned off in the crawl space. Once turned on everything worked. Your reps were the last people in the crawl space. Turns out there was no problem with my old refrigerator. What happened, who knows. Update...…...had a cordial and professional conversation with a terminix manager. We agreed that there was no certainty that their team caused this situation. In good faith they will provide two service calls in the spring and summer. A great example of customer relations and the original team is still my pick to keep up continued services.

We recently decided to clean up our crawl space by removing old vapor barrier and insulation and have new installed. Terminix was able to come out to give us a quote very quickly. Dre has been fantastic! I had an infestation a few months back and he took care of it. I live in a large apartment complex (they do the scheduling and whatnot) but anytime I was scheduled he was here, rain or shine. The service was great! In addition to remedying the infestation, he also answered all of my ridiculous questions. Dre is very personable, kind, respectful, and considerate. I have a big, protective dog who isn’t a fan of visitors. Dre didn’t even ask me to put him up. In fact, he told me that he had done some research on dogs and dog training and knew what to do so the dog wouldn’t feel threatened or challenged by him. Little things like that go such a long way!

(Of Any kind) Chris did my initial inspection and let me know what steps to take to make sure I don’t see any. I’ve seen a couple from time to time, and Chris takes care if it. He returns every 90 days to inspect and see if I have any concerns. I don’t know how people live in Virginia without having Terminix!!!!

Octavio has been taking care of us since day 1 when we bought our first house and honestly he is the only reason we still use terminex. This man is friendly as can be, he interacts with my 3 year old and she gets excited when he comes by just so she can say hi to him. We’ve had a couple problems with ants and when we called, I feel like he made it a top priority to come help us out. There also was a time where he came to spray our yard right before he was going home and waited for about an hour just so I could cut the grass before he sprayed. I can’t soeak for the rest of terminex but I would recommend Octavio for your pest services

There have been a few times over the many years that I’ve had Terminix when the critters raised their unwelcome heads. Once Termites were found in the crawl space. Terminix descended upon the unwanted critters with the vengeance of Thor’s Hammer. Terminix came back 5 times and retreated areas in the crawl space until the buggers were utterly annihilated to the last termite larva. Good riddance .Amen. Thank you Terminix. 🐜🐜🐜
