Highly recommend! They were recommended to me from my mother ( they redid the entire foundation under her house for a very nice price ) and showed up to me ready to help. very nice very professional and great communication. They gave me very detailed advice and information and the company offers every type of fix I need to prevent future issues and fix current. ( fixing foundation, treating moisture, adding dehumidifiers, closing up areas not needed and draining thingy to catch the rain ) all in the same company ! Devon Pilkington, the Service Manager worked closely with me over a month to get my previous Horizon Titan XP90 dehumidifier replaced with the new WatchDog 900 dehumidifier since it was no longer working. Customer Service is number one with Priority Pest. It felt great knowing that I could call and reach the Service Manager to help me resolve my issue in replacing my dehumidifier in a timely manner. From the ladies taking my phone calls, to the technician, Donovan, who came to install the new dehumidifier, and to the Service Manager, I strongly felt their customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! This is the main reason I stayed with them for over 10 years for now for my pest/termite inspections and for dealing with issues in taking care of my crawlspace. If you don't like to go underneath the crawlspace and you want to know what your dehumidifier is doing, I strongly recommend you get the optional remote control/display unit. I installed it myself. Not only does priority pest have competitive prices, They have an outstanding staff that goes above and beyond for their customers. Our pest tech, Basilio F., specifically is spectacular and we are so grateful to have him do our quarterly inspections and treatments. He is personable, and thorough with his work. He is clearly an expert and takes pride in educating and navigating his customers through what steps we can take to prevent future problems. We have been using priority for 2 years since we bought our house and we are extremely pleased. Our house sat vacant for 7 months before we bought it and, a few creepy crawlies moved in. Priority completely redid our crawl space and have been doing quarterly treatments and we never see Waterbugs anymore. We have been using Priority Pest for over a year now. Their office staff and all their technicians are amazing. The office staff is always so helpful when you call. Our favorite technician, David S, is always on time and will check in and let you know he is on his way. He is very thorough and explains exactly what he is doing throughout the spraying. I have to say that good customer service is hard to come by, especially this day in time. Priority far exceeded our expectations! They were amazing. Recently, we sold our home and during the buyers home inspection there were some structural issues found underneath our home from previous termite damage. This damage included the necessary replacement of 14 floor joist and 2 main girders. We immediately called Priorty who has been servicing our home for the last few years. We were very stressed about getting the work done in a timely manner but Devon the owner of Priority new how important it was because of the closing on the sale of our home. He made arrangements to take care of the work for us 3 days later. We were incredibly impressed with there punctuality and were even more surprised that the owner himself showed up with a couple techs and took care of the work that day. Investigation of a ‘settling crack’ in our MBR led to discovery of a rodent problem in the crawl space beneath the house. We contacted Priority Pest Services for full inspection, treatment, and ‘eviction’ of our uninvited guests. Our assigned technician, Rob, arrived on time, explained the work he was there to perform, and provided a detailed summary of findings and actions completed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. Pleased with our first experience with Priority, we scheduled a separate termite inspection. The inspector, Scott, arrived on time and demonstrated the same friendly, professional demeanor as his colleague, Rob. Scott performed a thorough inspection, confirming our concern that we had active termites in the garage. He also noted evidence of activity in a few other locations beneath the house, and recommended full treatment. Pleased with the prior work by Priority, we scheduled the treatment and were happy when our previous technician, Rob, arrived to perform the work. I will use this company again and would recommend Priority Pest Services to our friends and neighbors.

My home had foundation and settlement issues, causing cracks in the drywall. We called Priority Pest to come out and assess the problem. They were prompt and quickly got us an appointment to come out. Their staff was very professional and knowledgeable and fixed the issues regarding the piers under the house. There were a total of nine piers that they had to raise. I would recommend them to anyone who is having either pest or foundation issues. Great customer service and hard workers!!!

Priority Pest Services and my technician, Basilio Flores have been the best pest service I have ever used and I have tried many other pest control services in the past that could just not perform like Priority at such a consistent level. I have had the same technician since I began my contract with Priority which is important to me because I am really afraid of bugs and spiders and Basilio is always understanding and I know he does everything possible to make certain that I don't see any bugs/spiders and if I do see anything, it is already dead. Priority is very professional and fair to work with regardless of the size of the job. I used them on a very large job for my attic and also for my routine pest service, and their quality is excellent all around. I highly recommend Priority Pest Services.

I have been using Priority Pest since we bought our home. David has been outstanding! He goes above and beyond to answer my questions, and do all the treatments for our house. David is incredibly nice, on time, and makes sure all our house issues are taken care of. The ladies that answer the phone are also very nice, and always answer my questions when making appointments. We do the quarterly pest service and mosquito control. The quarterly treatments have made a huge difference with not having rodents, ants, or other insects in the house.....definitely worth it!

I contacted Priority services to evaluate my crawl space for possible encapsulation and installation of dehumidifier and fans . From the first day of the evaluation through to the completion of the work I could not have been more satisfied. The sales person was courteous and explained all the various options and helped me decide on the best option for my home. He was very knowledgeable on all of the issues and concerns of crawl spaces in general and took a good deal of time and follow up to ensure I was comfortable with his recommendation of what option he felt was needed for my home. Super impressed with Priority, I have been a long time customer for quarterly treatments. Rob is a FATANTASTIC technician, not only does he always come in with a GREAT attitude, he is extremely polite and courteous. Priority Pest Services is a great company from the owners to the employees. Everyone I had contact with from Priority was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. My home needed major repairs so I called around to get estimates; the big franchise company's wanted to treat my home with bait station with no structural repairs for a lot more money, but when I contacted Priority and their inspector Ken Lowery came to my home he walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Priority Pest services performed my first quarterly pest control service today. I want to make sure to let everyone know that this is the best pest control company around. We’ve used four different companies over the past 15 years, and Priority Pest far exceeds the rest. I hired Priority in March to install a crawlspace dehumidifier. While in the crawlspace, they pointed out a termite tube that my previous pest company had missed, even though they had just inspected the week prior. I hired them on the spot to take over my service. Today’s service was conducted by Lead Pest Control Tech David Shafer. He arrived on time, and started on the interior. After a thorough treatment to all the potential trouble spots, he treated the exterior. What I liked about David’s service is that he took his time to do a thorough job. (My last company would complete their hurried treatment in about 15 minutes) He also treated the attic and inspected the crawlspace. He found a couple of damaged pieces of ductwork that i was concerned about and he taped them for me — going way above and beyond. David provided an around professional service. If you’re looking for a pest control and/or crawlspace company...look no further, give these guys a call.

We were recommended to Priority Pest Services and could not be more pleased with the prompt and excellent service we received from the moment we first contacted Priority. We are having our AC's replaced and there was moisture underneath our crawlspace that needed to be corrected before they could complete the AC installation. Have you ever received really great service, and meant to write a review so that others can find a reliable company (but don't for whatever reason)? Well that's usually me! I just wanted to say how great it is to find such a reliable pest company. Nothing more disgusting than finding rodents in your attic and in your crawl space, especially when they get trapped and die! After calling, they quickly sent someone out to my house. Mark came spent a great deal of time accessing the situation, patiently explaining, and giving me a fair estimate on the spot. The technicians, Cody and Anthony, were on time and also showed the same patience and care as they went about their job. I can't imagine what it takes to crawl around attics and crawl spaces, sanitizing, cleaning and sealing access points. These two technicians were still polite and professional and patient! Priority Pest installed a dehumidifier 9 years ago in my house that is near the Great Dismal Swamp. I signed up for annual dehumidifier maintenance as well as termite inspections, as well as pest control services. There technicians are amazingly nice, as well as educated in their field. Recently I had a technician out to do the annual dehumidifier inspection. The technician noted that during his inspection and maintenance of the dehumidifier that there was possible fungus on the wood in the crawl space. The treatment cost was $450.00! I didn't understand why the fungus had re-grown because a dehumidifier was suppose to prevent the fungus from returning. (When I purchased the house, there was fungus, which I had treated & then installed the dehumidifier system). The technician told me he would have a supervisor come out to test the quality of the air and moisture of the crawl space wood. The supervisor, Jamie, wasn't able to call me back that day, therefore, he had a staff member call me to let me know why there was a delay. Then they asked what was the best time for Jamie to call me next day. How often does a company try to work around the customer's schedule? Usually its like, "they will call you when they call you." When Jamie called and I explained my concern about the fungus regrowth, he was very understanding and said that the "possible fungus" was probably dead fungus on the wood because my dehumidifier was working; that he would come out and run tests with company equipment to measure the air quality and moisture and to look at what the original technician thought was possible new fungus regrowth. He then said the technician who saw the possible fungus was going to attend some educational courses so that the misunderstanding wouldn't happen again. Jamie came and evaluated and everything was right-as-rain with the dehumidifier and confirmed there was no fungus regrowth. He further told me that Priority Pest will now start having their pest control technicians carry the equipment to measure air quality and wood moisture. When I told him I wished my system had a way of letting me know if it is working (because the dehumidifier that was installed is so quit, one can not tell when it is on/off or even working). Jamie reviewed the options that were available for homeowner's to check their own systems, etc. Jamie spent time explaining how fungus is treated and that unless you spend excessive amounts of money to wash the dead fungus from the treated wood, it will stay on the wood but it's dead and harmless. During the course of talking, I mentioned I needed a new septic field as I was told a few weeks ago by a septic company that my system was in failure. I explained the cost that accompanies septic systems and how grateful I was not to have to pay $450 for treating a fungus issue! Jamie said he knew of a reliable septic company and gave me the contact information. Since I had only found 3 other companies to obtain quotes from, having a fourth will be very helpful! In conclusion, both the technician and Jamie were pleasant and considerate; I can not say enough good things about the employees of Priority Pest. Would highly recommend!! On another note, there is another great person at Priority Pest; his name is Ted. He helped when the dehumidifier was installed. Ted and another Priority Pest supervisor got the company to approve of a "discount" because Ted learned I was a widow of a Fallen Police Officer who died while serving the community of Virginia Beach. I have great respect for companies that look beyond profits/gains to help their individual customers, like widows. You can't go wrong with Priority Pest.

I had moisture problems in my crawlspace & was looking for an affordable solution. I called Priority after seeing their commercial on tv & finding out they were WavyTV 10 on your side's go to company. They sent their inspector Mike out & he found the problems I had & offered me the solutions I was looking for. I scheduled a crawlspace encapsulation, termite treatment & dehumidifier installation. I'm glad I did. Billy & Brian came out & did a fantastic job for me & finished in record time. They were very professional & listened to my concerns & worked with me to complete the job to my satisfaction. They were here on time everyday & cleaned up everything before they left. My highest regards and recommendations go to Priority Pest of Chesapeake. Hampton Roads is notorious for the water standing in your yard and probably under your house in your crawl space. I obtained ideas and quotes from 6 different companies and individuals on how to get my crawl space dry again. I had water standing next to the foundation and in random areas under my dripping insulation. Ted and I crawled under the house twice and had very long conversations about how to correct my issues. He educated me and I listened. Based on his recommendations, I did minor work myself before we came to an agreement on the additional repairs being done by Priority. A sealed crawl space, moisture barrier, deumidifier, and some subfloor repair (very simplified way of putting it) was the route I chose. Although I did not know the names of the people who worked under my house as it was being done, I inspected their work after. I crawled underneath my own house again and was astonished at how clean and well done the work was, particularly the details. I contacted Ted to address a question I had about the bathroom floor and I commented on the job well done. It was then I learned it was JR who had done the work. Many thanks to him and I hope he sees my review. The one question I had about the floor resulted in Devon (the manager) appearing with Ted to answer my question himself. It doesn't get more obvious to me that Priority cares about their product. Our conversation was pleasant and all of my concerns addressed. Ted, JR, and Devon have exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend Priority for anyone who needs work done to their home!

I had MAJOR moisture/mold issues in the crawl space under my Smithfield home. Also, two piers supporting the first floor had sunken over the past 22 years, resulting in one corner of my living room sinking down about 1". I solicited 2 bids, both of which came in well over $20,000. My wife and I had a friend over for dinner after Christmas and I told him of my troubles. He immediately recommended Priority, who had done similar work for his house. He went so far as to call the Chesapeake office, where they told him that Smithfield would be serviced by the Peninsula office. He called me and gave me the phone number and who to ask for (thank you, David James!). James Hardee (the owner of the Peninsula franchise) came out, inspected my crawl space, and gave me some very honest advice about where my limited funds should be spent to get the biggest bang for my buck. His bid, although not for the same extent of work as the other 2 bids, was many, many thousands of dollars less. His company guaranteed in writing that the work they accomplished would fix my moisture, mold and settling issues. With my background as a mechanical engineer, I can say without reservation that James knew his stuff, and his crew was a joy to work with. They listened to my concerns over possible noise coming from the sump pump and dehumidifier. The dehumidifier is virtually silent. The sump pump, however, was a bit noisy because the piping was touching the floor joists below our kitchen. They came back and isolated the piping using some foam rubber, and it is now much quieter. I can hear it kick on, which is a good thing, because then, I know it's doing its job. All in all, an exceptional experience from James and Priority. You are the best, and so I highly recommend your services to others. They also are a WAVY TV 10-affiliated "expert" business, which should give potential customers some additional assurance that they are dealing with a trusted business. James and Priority, well done.

I bought my house mid-spring last year, and over the next month or so, I would see giant ants here or there in my kitchen. I was so busy moving, though, I didn't know I had a problem until suddenly I noticed I had a BIG problem. These ants had taken over my back deck and out front, and were constantly getting in the house. I tried everything I could to get rid of them, but nothing worked. They finally went away late summer/early fall. This year, as soon as I started seeing them again, I tried a couple things, but when none of it worked, I called Priority. They checked it out, identified them as carpenter ants, and got to work. That was around mid-April. After they left, I saw a couple here and there for a few weeks, then suddenly nothing. It's now mid-June (just one month until the technician comes back for quarterly treatment), and I still don't see any. I can't even begin to express how wonderful it is to have my house back and to have use of my back deck, pest-free. The technicians I've interacted with have been on time, friendly, and happy to answer any questions. This service was worth every penny I paid. I highly recommend this company. This was the second time that Priority Pest has done crawl space work for me. Their estimator was honest and the pricing was more than fair and well within industry standards. I base this on a few other quotes received for the same work. I did not feel pressured as with some of the others contractors solicited. This said volumes to me about the confidence in pricing and quality by Priority Pest. When the crew showed up, they were professional, considerate, quick and thorough. They did everything on their list and even took care of a few other minor things noticed while they were under my house. There was one minor cosmetic discrepancy with a Priority Pest subcontractor, but it was quickly remedied by a phone call to the estimator. This proved to me that there are still companies out there that hold true to "the customer is always right" mentality. It was just supposed to be a re-treat in one room where I occasionally get a Palmetto bug (which a nice way of saying "giant, angry, man-eating cockroach"). your rep jamie came to my home to investigate why one of the pump gfis was tripped and fixed the problem. and everything appeared to be ok. jamie insisted he needed to go underneath the house and check th entire system out. this extra effort resulted in identifying a bad sump pump. . took action to schedule a new sump pump installation. jamie was extremely professional during this inspection and a credit to his company.

We purchased a home May of 2017 , had this company peform the termite inspection prior to closing on the house , 4 months into owning the home we found active termites , contacted the company , they came out treated the area of suspected damage , now April of 2017 we found more signs of termite damage on more walls , we ended up tearding down the drywall and found more damage than anticipated , long story short after spending Countless dollars in labor and material to redo all the drywall trim and paint and wood repairs flooring and such , this company had our best interest in mind and treated our entire house for free , I believe that when a company is willing to take a financial hit wether the damage was missed or not , speaks a lot for this companies culture , thank you priority pest for giving us the peace of mind and for all the time and treatment you were able to provide to us Devon Pilkington , Drew Tally and the technician Thomas were all phenomenal during this trial of stress and frustration
