Have been using JP Miller for a couple of years and will 120% recommend. Fast response, results but the best is the customer service you get all the way from the receptionist to the Techs. Aaron has always made my family feel like his own by making sure everything he treats for has little kids, family and pets safety in mind. We are very thankful to him and the whole JP Miller's team.

Depends on the tech they send, I’ve had varied experiences. Overall, they took care of solving my problems after moving to my new home and dealing with some issues typically found in houses that have been empty for a while. However, the rep they sent for that instance was a bit inappropriately friendly and forward. Then they changed to Matt who was AMAZING but he left and then they sent John who was not friendly or helpful at all. Last week they sent a new person, Aaron and so far I could not be happier. He is truly a great gentleman. Respectful, service-oriented, helpful. Overall, the company gets the job done but the experience with them depends truly on the rep!

Luis has a wealth of knowledge about insects, having been in the business since he was 16. We learned a lot & felt confident we would be in good hands after getting the initial assessment from him. Even though we did have one estimate that was lower in price, we decided on JP Miller because it is a family business that takes pride in serving their customers & providing the best solutions (not taking shortcuts). We have only had our initial treatment, but have been impressed with the professionalism of all 3 employees who came out. They were timely, knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. 2022 UPDATE AFTER QUITE A FEW YEARS OF BEING A CUSTOMER: We had formosan termites, which are very destructive. Luis was able to eliminate the colony and put sentricon bait stations around our home to form a protective perimeter. We wish we had known about this and had him do it when we bought the house - it would have saved us tens of thousands of structural damage and years of repair/construction headaches. We have also had JP Miller do tenting for drywood termites. Again, Luis paid a personal visit prior to the tenting and answered all our questions when I would call or text. He also came out to do a pest inspection once when we heard a critter in the attic (and he didn't even charge us for that one). So he has become like a part of our family! We really appreciate a business that goes the extra mile to take care of their customers, despite being super busy during the pandemic. We also greatly appreciated their care in wearing protective gear (even BOOTIES) when coming in our home.

Update - JP Miller is still phenomenal. We have Aaron who helps us out and he is the best. We recently had a major bug issue and Aaron came out the next day and we haven’t had an issue since. He checked in after a week too which just speaks volumes for their customer service. Thank you! John from JP Miller was absolutely incredible. He was able to tell us what the issue is and provide us with all the options available. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very reassuring. We now know exactly what the next steps are and the preventative options as well. We will be using JP Miller for all of our future problems! I HIGHLY recommend JP Miller and John! Thank you guys!!!

I cannot recommend this company enough. Their personal touch has made me feel like I am their only customer. They are reliable, honest, and consistent. I have had the pleasure of working with Luis since I have been using the company, and he has been such a joy to work with. They are very thorough with their work. Although I never have had any issues after the treatment, they have been great about double checking after the job to make sure. I rarely write reviews (I know I should, but I always seem forget), but they are worth making time to write about. Save yourself the headaches I have experienced with other exterminator companies and just go with JP Miller from the start.

My great experience with JP Miller started with Jenna who answered the phone when I called in. Jenna was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. She had a representative name John come out to my house and assess the situation with my lawn and hedge. John was clearly an extremely knowledgeable individual who talked to me about all of the issue he saw and then put together a very fair estimate for service. At this point I already like these guys for how they do business but the best is yet to come. Two days later they sent out their technician to perform the service and I was again blown away by their professionalism. Robert, their tech came out and spent time with me making recommendations on watering, mowing and general care of my lawn that went way beyond his job. It was clear to me that Robert takes great pride in his work and the company he works for. Kudos to the Miller family for creating an environment where your associates can do the job they do. Firstly, got pretty detailed information on a call from the ladies. They were not hiding details and even gave me the name of the system they use. But to have an idea for pricing they had to come and assess. Luis was friendly and cordial from the get go.. ohhh he was very punctual as well. Which is very respectful in Florida! Not sure how to compare any prices as this is very unusual service for mosquitos. Not many offer it. Having 4 dogs and cats at the house it's very important not to have anything sprayed... Someone was able to visit the property the same day and confirm evidence of termites. I was immediately contacted and told the steps and cost to treat the affected area. The next day JP Miller & Sons visited the property and completed treatment in under an hour. Everyone I spoke with was professional and explained the steps they were taking very clearly. Always very professional and knowledgeable. The office texts the day before a treatment to let us know they are coming and the tech always asks if there any issues that need special attention. They focus on the outside perimeter of the house instead of spraying chemicals in the house.

Did not try to sell us a long term contract (Thank you, John!!) but told us what to expect in the short term and how to deal with it if we didn't want to tent (which right now is not an option) We will certainly continue with JP Miller for our termite control. JP Miller is a family owned and operated pest control business. This is a company that I would stay with forever. Their lawn treatments are 100% effective - no need to call back for a repeat spraying. I found that this was not always so with other companies. Well, we were promised a Guava Tree by John during our closing contract but so far, we have yet to receive the said tree. Other than that, I could not have been happier with JP. Miller for their services and their professionalism. John is a nice gentleman and so is Louis in their very detailed approach to provide a solution to a problem. Ours, occurs during a remodeling of a bathroom and we found out that quite possibly we had subterranean termites, active or in the past but John advised us of the proper way to deal with this situation since the subterranean termites tend to be more aggressive. I contacted the company when we had an infestation of sugar ants in several rooms in our house. Bob traced their trails and laid down bait and got rid of them. Later Bob worked persistently to eradicate sugar ants that had developed a nest in the front box of our intercom system. He consulted with one of the company's scientists, who advised him to use a more powerful chemical,. He dismantled the intercom box, applied the chemical and then reassembled the box. We have not seen any ants since then. Bob comes every other month, always calling me in advance with day and time and treats the entire perimeter of the house. He gave me his cell phone number and responds very quickly if I have a problem or a question. He cares about his job and his customers.

We are delighted with the services we’ve received from J. P. Miller in managing and eliminating a Palmetto bug infestation. We recently bought a mid century home with cast iron plumbing. Although we had a pre-purchase plumbing inspection, it failed in identifying any problem with the pipes. From Day One of moving into our new home, we discovered several Palmetto bugs, live and dead, each day in the mornings and at dusk - as many as up to 7! We first called Orkin to treat the property, inside and outside, and after three weeks of still seeing these insects and several Orkin visits, decided that passive routine spraying was not effective. After more research into pest control companies, we had the great fortune of finding J.P. Miller buoyed by several existing 4 and 5 star reviews. After an initial home infestation assessment by J.P. Miller’s senior specialist, Luis, he recommended a non toxic and pet friendly gassing of the interior. For the first time, we had a brief reprieve of seeing the insects. When we again started to see them, Luis and the owner of the company smoke tested the sewer stacks and discovered a big problem in our kitchen. We then called out a plumber who confirmed there was a rotting of one of our kitchen pipes to the foundation that provided the bugs access to our home which they subsequently fixed. We then saw the insect population significantly decreased and Luis put a final end to the infestation by treating inside the walls by each of the stacks. This was a surprisingly non-invasive procedure and there is absolutely no damage to our walls that we had just previously freshly painted. We are now extremely happy that we haven’t seen one Palmetto bug in over 5 weeks and it looks like our nightmare we’ve been living through is finally over after 5 months. This is largely due to the efforts and commitment of J.P. Miller and Luis working with us tirelessly in finding the source of the pest problem and taking every effort to eliminate it. Needless to say, we can’t recommend J.P. Miller or Luis more highly and we attribute our new home comfort and piece of mind to this excellent pest control company and especially Luis who is very professional as well as personable.
