Found myself being terrorized nightly by a rat that had entered my home. I called on Good News Pest Solutions for removal assistance. To my relief, Greg with Good News called & schedule a visit to my home the same day. His inspection was thorough & informative. Suggesting exactly what I needed to do to prepare my home so that the traps he was placing would be successful. And the next morning I notified Greg that the rat was trapped. The kindest part of the ordeal was that Greg immediately offered to remove the trapped rat & was there within 15 minutes. I was so relieved to have that rodent out of my home. The response of Good News to my need was immediate & the follow up & removal was exceptional! Thank You Greg & Good News!

We thought we had squirrels in our attic. Julian and Todd did a thorough inspection of our attic to find them. And I mean thorough. Todd crawled into parts of the attic not made for humans to go in. They determined they were in the soffits not the attic. They temporarily closed the access point then I subsequently got that repaired by a gutter/soffit company. So far so good! Good News was very helpful in arranging to do the initial treatments before we moved into the house. Samantha (our technician) was very thorough & went out of her way to remove some hornets nests she found so they would hopefully not return. Adam and Good News went WAY above the call of duty to get our building prepared for our termite tenting. I wish I could say it all went without a hitch, but with many projects, it had it's share of issues. Adam and Good News made sure our tenting happened successfully within the same week even though the first fumigation company waived off our tenting due to wind. I appreciate the extra effort Adam put in to make sure all owners units were properly prepared and we were able to finish this much needed termite fumigation. Service was amazing.

We finally bought our home last year and used them for our termite inspection. The responsiveness and professionalism we got was exactly what I expected. We now have hired them to exterminate a rat problem. They showed up early, were very detailed in explaining what we can expect from them, very thorough in covering any holes the rats could get in, and even gave us some pointers on other things we aren’t even paying them for! My technician Jeff is so personable. He is the reason I stay with Good News. I started when I bought my house several years ago and had it rented. I paid my yearly fee to keep the coverage from that initial service; but was disappointed the past three years in having to request (insist upon) a yearly inspection through that was not being scheduled by Good News at yearly renewal. I recently contacted Good News in regard to a rodent problem because of palm trees near my Villa. Joseph came out and checked the attic and the openings. He then explained what needed to be done and that Good News would contact me. The only negative is that after several days there was no contact and myself and a neighbor had to contact them. Walter came out and gave a cost which was very reasonable in comparison to other companies. Joseph came back to do the work. He was prompt, courteous, and a very nice young man. Two days later he came back to check the traps, reset them, as there were no rodents and is coming back again to check and deodorize and sanitize. Joseph and Walter were both a pleasure to deal with for a problem that was not pleasant at all. I have no doubt that my rodent problem will be taken care of for once and for all. James is my pest Technician. He sends me a text the day before reminding me of an appointment. Typically, he is always on the outside of the home. This is different from what people perceive on pest prevention. James wants to keep bugs from “getting into” my house. On a rare occasion, I will tell him I’m seeing ghost ants. He will ask where I saw them, then show me where their hiding. Usually within a couple days they are gone after a simple treatment.

Kevin our service technician came right on time and fixed the soffett areas so rodents couldn't get in our no attic. He then set the traps in the attic and put a screen over the hole behind the oven. Kevin is a hard working efficient man who made sure everything was correct. Kevin explained that he would be back next week to set the outdoor traps. So had the cockroaches/Palmetto bugs (all the same to me,) and spiders. The Representative explained it was part of the program we had discussed and not an additional cost. Fruit (a banana & a pineapple) chomped on inside my Mom's house over night. Called Goodnews and Gregg showed up the next day. He confirmed it was a rat chomping. Mom was not happy. He said Goodnews can get rid of it (or them) and make sure they don't come back. Honestly, I thought the price was steep at first. But after seeing what Joseph, the technician, did and the knowledge, professionalism and concern he displayed I no longer had any issue. Perfect example of paying for what you get. FULLY inspecting the outside and inside of the house and the attic and the roof and then buttoning it up where the rodent came in from the outside and also the entrance to the house itself through the attic (Joseph was adamant about keeping future rodents out and his and Gregg's sleuthing abilities alone were worth the cost), setting traps inside the house, in the attic and outside as well, inspecting all the inside traps 3 times with no activity before giving the all clear, vacuuming the attic and then disinfecting it. Bait traps outside for a year inspected quarterly to see if any bait is taken. These guys knew what they were doing and they did it right. Highly recommend. Just as an aside I can also say from personal experience on my own house recently that their inspections are thorough, free and they most definitely do not push unneeded work.

We had a rat that ate through the dishwasher draining tube. They came out, made sure that traps were placed, entry points were block, etc.! Two big rats were caught, they will come three times a week to check on inside traps and the four outside. Yes you have to sign a yearly contract. After the visit is complete and a few days have gone by, someone from Good News calls to make sure all was satisfactory. They also can rid your shed of rats, without harming other wildlife. Thank you Good News! We had a terrible carpenter ant problem several months ago. We tried everything to try and get rid of them but to no avail. Mostly they took over the kitchen sink and countertop. On recommendation from our church youth pastor, we called Good News (formerly Macy's).
