We have been using A-1 since 2011 and have always had exceptional service! The technicians and owners are consistently professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We have been especially impressed with Red the technician, who is attentive to our concerns and is incredibly thorough when treating our house. When we have had any questions ( regarding safety of chemicals while pregnant and safety for small children/pets), Liz has been very patient and helpful while answering all of our questions. Additionally, the pricing is fair and they come back for free in between services if you have any pest problems. In the 8 years we have been using A-1, we have only had to call once for in between service. We recommend A-1 for anyone looking for great pest control service at a great price!

My wife and I had some trouble with bugs in our closet. We spent hours cleaning our closet and felt as though we may have gotten rid of the problem. A few weeks later, another bug showed up. I realized I needed to call someone. Brian answered the phone and was very professional in explaining what he would do when he came over. I also was able to grab a sample. Brian showed up the day he said he would and was early. After Brian looked at the sample, the closet, he was able to narrow down what was causing it. The cause - a rice stuffed animal (used as a heating pad) was the cause for the infestation. A cigarette beetle that feeds on grain (rice in this case). I would have never been able to figure this out without Brian's knowledge and expertise. I spent hours trying to figure out what kind of bug and came out empty. I will be calling A1 home pest control inc for my pest control needs.

Not only were they friendly and professional, but he also took the time to explain to us things we didn't know before. He took the time to listen to our specific needs as we have a one year old and a new baby on the way! He explained what products he used and how they're safer. The Best in Pest services! We have been using this company for 4 years now and have moved once during that time. They provide courteous and professional service that I feel goes above and beyond in making sure you are pest free. When we purchased our new home it was riddled with german cockroaches nesting in the walls due to previous owner bombing the home. With one quarterly charge they returned 3 times until we were completely bug free and never hesitated to be out quickly. They are easy to pay through their online invoicing. All the technicians we have dealt with have been clean and thorough as well as take the time to answer questions. They even wear boot booties to ensure nothing outside is tramped across our floors. I can't say enough nice things about these people, their level of service is second to none. Last fall we had a terrible wasp problem. I called on a Saturday afternoon. They were here Monday morning at 8am removing a 2 foot hive along my fence line (no extra charge!) It is easy to see why you guys are the highest rated pest control company in Florida. I've been using A1 Home Pest Control for a few months, now. I wanted to go through at least a couple of service cycles before writing my review. My experience with A1 Home Pest Control has been fantastic, so far! I am currently on a quarterly program and James (service technician) and the entire staff at A1 have been a pleasure to work with. I have only been living in this newly built home for about 7 months and my pest issues have been minimal, thanks to A1 and their excellent service technician, James. If I do ever have any issues all it takes is a call and they will come out and address the issue. I even recommended A1 Home Pest Control to my parents and they have been extremely pleased with their A1 experience, as well. Not much else to say, A1 Home Pest Control has been doing a great job!

We recently moved into our new home a few months back, and I did a wide search for Pest Control. My husband and I finally decided on A1 Pest Control, and I'm really glad that we did so! Brian has been amazing, and our home has been pest free since his visit! He is extremely kind and very understanding! He explained the entire process to us, and the best part is, it was safe for our newborn baby, as well as our daughter whom has allergy problems, and our pet cat as well. He came in and did an entire sweep of the house. What makes this company even better, as if they weren't good enough, is they actually care about the customer. This month we had a scheduled service, and a few weeks prior to the service date, my husband, whom is a vet, had some issues in which he needed to be hospitalized. I called Brian explaining the situation, asking if we could push the service date back due to my husband being out of work for a while. Most companies would have thrown a contract in your face, cancelled your service, or would have done little to help. Brian sympathized with what was going on with my family. He kept the service date, and stated he would bill us later, and told us not to worry about the financial stress due to what my husband was going through. They are an incredible company to work with, not only because of their amazing customer service, but with how effective their service is as well. I highly recommend them to anyone! :)

We had a major ant problem a few months after moving into our first home. We had two treatments from anther pest service but we still had an issue after several months. I then contacted A-1 Pest Control and they've been amazing since. Email correspondence had been and continues to be extremely timely and with knowledgeable responses to questions and photos. They treat issues outside before they become a problem inside! We haven't seen an ant or critter since a week after the first treatment. I definitely recommend their services. *Update* 4/4/2018 We have been using A-1's quarterly service for a year and have only had one small ants issue; during the scheduled treatment they did an interior spray and made some recommendations for us to do to keep them out. The team has continued to impress with their knowledge and commitment to ensuring our home is bug free!

I have been using A1 for years. They have come out at the first sign I had a problem. The service is a good value. Gone are the ants, silverfish and mice.The knock down cobwebs and wasp nests all with a friendly smile. They take time to explain what they have done and what I could do to help prevent issues. I trust them tons more then my bank a lawyer or a new car salesman. Last one is not saying much!

I can't say enough good things about A1 Home Pest Control. Liz, James, and the whole crew have been nothing short of fantastic. After being A1's client for almost a year, my house's previous pest control company decided to be vindictive and pull out all of my termite bait stations even though I had never signed up with the company (the previous owners had). Turns out pulling the stations was NOT proper protocol when they are being serviced by a new company. Liz and her crew were FANTASTIC about installing new bait stations, fixing another company's misdeeds at their own expense. So far I have dealt/spoken with 3 individuals from A1 Home Pest Control. To sum it up, they treat your home like it is theirs. ALL of them have been nothing short of honest, professional, genuine, thorough and experts in their field. They appear to do their work with as much integrity as they can carry. I called A1 three weeks prior to my scheduled service because I noted unusual insect activity in and outside my home (could have been caused by the Hurricane Irma). I asked if the service date could be changed for a current date. Brian was very courteous and understanding of my request -- the revised service was scheduled within the next several days. James arrived with a smile, as usual, and we discussed my 'bug problem'. James explained about the pipes under my sinks where the wall was not cut correctly and allowed for a space for the bugs to enter. He explained to me how to correct this problem. This I will do promptly. A1 is a great company and I would recommend their services to anyone!

Not only did they take the time to answer all of my questions but they took the extra time to thoroughly explain what types of pests I can expect to see here and how their service worked. I was very apprehensive and skeptical when first selecting a pest control company for roaches I had just started to see in the last few months. (Turns out the cardboard boxes with stuff out of storage now in my garage may have contributed) I had tried to research companies, gotten quotes and looked online. After 2 months of fighting bed bugs with natural home remedies, I finally gave up and called in the "big guns." I was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness and courtesy of all company staff. The woman I spoke to on the phone gave me a full run-down of everything I would have to do in preparation for treatment as well as following treatment. It was a little overwhelming, but then just about anything beats having these bugs! The technicians who came to my home engaged me personally instead of treating me like just another account. They stayed as long as necessary to answer all of my questions and had a good sense of humor, which is always a plus when dealing with this sort of big problem. My home and belongings were treated with respect. When my son asked if a treasured (and expensive!) book collection could be removed from the home to avoid ruining the glossy pages, one of the technicians agreed and stated that the personal value was more than the financial value, and he would never want to risk ruining the item. Brian, who is part-owner of the company and the lead technician, was a humble man who presented his work and results so I could make an informed decision instead of trying to "make the sale." I could tell he was a man of high integrity. James, the technician who performed the treatment, was available by phone all day and patiently answered all my questions during treatment. He had to move many things in my house to ensure effective treatment, but he was very careful with everything and I found all of my items in great condition upon my return. He also made sure I understood what my house would look like after treatment so I didn't freak out when I came home. I can tell A1's approach is client-centered, and their first priority is making sure my home is pest-free, not making money. I contacted over a dozen other pest control companies, and A1 was by far the highest-quality in treatment and staff as well as the best value in price. I would certainly recommend A1 for anyone suffering from bed bugs. You won't be disappointed!

I cannot recommend them enough, my only regret is not calling them sooner! We were having a bit of an ant issue inside our house, as well as some wasp nests outside. They came and took care of the issue very quickly. They were very knowledgable and didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need. When we began having signs of rodents in our house, we knew just who to call! They got out here the day after we called & Brian went above & beyond to get our issue taken care of, including going onto our roof to figure out how the rodents were getting in (turns out we have holes on our roof. yikes.) He 100% did not need to do that, could have taken our money to remove the rodent(s) and we would have been none the wiser. Years ago I had basic outside bug service through our HOA. All was okay until my adult son moved back in and brought with him the german cockroach. We called on A1 who came out 3 times the first month and removed ALL signs of these pests and the standard spiders that follow them... We decided to keep their services on a quarterly basis and were very happy with not only the level of customer service but the lack of smell from chemicals and bugs! We enjoyed their services for over a year until we moved out of the area. A-! is SOLVED MY PROBLEM ON THE FIRST VISIT. This company is amazing, I was hesitant in who I would hire to get rid of a serious ant problem, my property is on 5 acres and I had piles of ants everywhere specially around the house, they were now coming inside it was totally out of control. I looked at several companies and their reviews, talked to several of them but when I talked to Brian over the phone he gave me a lot of information, I decided to give them a chance, Brian came to my house and before agreeing for service, he sat down and explained thoroughly the process, their products and educated me on many things, I was impressed and very happy. This is my first yelp review and first time using an exterminator. After battling a war against fleas from June thru October I had to give in and call in the big guns. I have two small children and two indoor cats. I wanted to use the least harmful chemicals and treat the animals so as not to expose my 2 and 4 yr old to anything harmful. I gave it my all but my 4 yr old is so allergic to bites and there was a resurgence so I had to call someone for help. A1 has been amazing. So so so easy to work with. I called and they got to my house in 2 days. I'm a working mom so I left a key and they sprayed. The second time they were there I forgot to put the cats in the garage and they did it for me because they were very concerned about their well being. One cat is as mean as can be and they took care of it for us. They are a small business but the professionalism , care, concern and the time they spent consulting and providing advice to me was priceless. I cannot recommend a better company. I told the a1 team to use me as a reference because I can vouch to what a great job they did and so accommodating and professional!!!

Hard to find honest businesses anymore. I initially thought i had a rat problem in my attic. Due to scheduling, I was first able to obtain a quote from "Pest Detector" out of Clermont FL. When Pest Detector came to do their initial inspection, I was assured that i had a rat infestation in my attic and it was an urgent problem that i needed to attend to ASAP. Before 5 minutes into the visit with Pest Detector, I was quoted a $1500 job that would require over 6 weeks of continuous visits. Did not even LOOK in my attic! He assured me that it was a common problem in my area and he is already treating X number of homes in my area, and that if i wanted to get on the schedule i should commit ASAP before the rats start nesting bla bla bla...here are the packages they offer..yada yada yada Today I received a second opnion from Brian @ A1 Home Pest Control. Brian surveyed my property and crawled through my attic for almost an hour before we even sat down to discuss my problem. to my surprise Brian assured me that i did not have ANY rodent problems inside my attic. no signs of tunneling or rat droppings or any kind of intrusions or tunneling, ect. In fact, he told me that my attic looked to be in great shape and there were no signs of there ever being rats or rodents insinde. What I actually had was a squirrel family using my roof, gutters and screens as a playground and what i intially thought was rat problem was actually just squirrels on the exterior of my home. He recommended that i have the trees on the property trimmed back and I shouldnt ever have a problem in the future. Brian's good ethics, integrity and expertise, he saved me a substantial amount of money and time. He spent over an hour for his free inspection and gave me the honest answer that i did not need any rodent removal services from him. Before i let him leave, I did sign up for their quarterly pest prevention service which was also more affordable than the other quotes i received. I can sleep better at night knowing that my home will be pest free and more importantly that we still have honest business owners like Brian that actually take pride in their business and craft and are not just after your money. SHAME ON YOU PEST DETECTOR

Wow! I do not remember the last time i experienced such honesty from anyone providing services. In fact, it is a whole big thing for me. I am uncertain if i get ripped off or taken advantage of because im a female or what, but so many people are dishonest and greedy. I called inquiring about a pest control issue and the response i recieved was not what i expected. The awesome human that i spoke to explained that my problem can be easily fixed and that i do not a pest control service. He had a opportunity to take advantage of me and he did and i think that speaks volume about his character and his business. If ever I do need pest control I will call A1 Home Pest Control for sure!!!

Original signup was to eliminate a german roach issue. James, the technician, was thorough and communicated well on what he was doing. After the service we never saw another roach. The second installment was just completed, again James was the tech. Although I had no inside issue, he focused on the exterior and I was impressed on the thorough job that was done.
