We’ve been using STL Pest Control for a year now and are very happy with their services. Any concerns we have, they are very thorough in investigating and always take the time to explain the “why” and answer any questions we have. When recommending treatment, I always feel they have my best interest in mind and only suggest services they themselves would use. There’s never a sales pitch or any pressured upselling like we’ve experienced with other companies. Joe is our service provider and he’s always professional and timely. The office staff is friendly and easy to schedule with, we make our appointments via text which is really convenient. Overall, we feel STL Pest Control is a company you can trust and would certainly recommend to others

From the minute I called until the technician, Terry, left it was a great experience. The woman who scheduled the appointment, Jean, was so nice and helpful. I got a text letting me know a tech was on his way and a name/pic of who to expect. Terry couldn’t have been nicer - he surveyed and assessed the situation then explained what he was doing to conquer the problem. The bonus? Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

There is a lot to like! St Louis Pest was responsive, didn’t try to sell me on a monthly or quarterly plan, and was the best price for a first/single time treatment. I got a text from both the company and Joe the service tech letting me know he was on his way. Joe was quick efficient and answered my questions. He even noticed ice building up at the hose connection and unscrewed the hose! Hoping I don’t have to get another treatment but if I do I will definitely use them again!

Online scheduling was easy and they got me on the books within a week. Larry was the technician that responded to our house call. I received a text message when he was en route. He showed up early, prepared, and in a good mood. He explained what treatment he was applying, where, and why. He was very knowledgeable about the brown recluse habits and educated me on what I can do to reduce our appeal to spiders looking to make a home. Needless to say Larry was the a true professional and I’d highly recommend STL Pest Control.

I cannot recommend STL Pest Control enough. My older home had not been serviced in awhile, and I was able to be put on the schedule for routine spider and pest extermination within two weeks. They responded to my email extremely quickly and answered all of my questions. They called the day before my apt to confirm/remind me. On the day of my apt they sent me a text when Lee, the service tech, was on the way- so I knew when to expect him in the 2 hour service window. Lee was super knowledgeable and helped me understand my problem . He was very relatable and overall really great at what he does. I look forward to continuing working with this company to prevent pests in my home in the future, and would highly recommend them to anyone in their service area!

I want to give special recognition to the team at STLPest Control. They came over because of a pest problem that multiple people claimed I had. The technician did the inspection, and was super helpful explaining things. Not only that: after their visit, they told me I didn’t need any additional services. After the recent rains I had ants in my basement. I wasn't sure if they were carpenter ants or just regular ants so I called STL Pest. They were responsive and explained exactly what their process is. I decided to have them come out, look at the issue, tell me how to solve it and also do a regular seasonal pest spraying. They worked with my schedule and came out in a few days, turns out the issue was not bad and just regular ants. He gave me tips on how to deal with it and sprayed the area and also put down glue traps. I was very happy with the service, the price and their patience in dealing with me as I freaked out about ants.

STL Pest Control did a great job of trapping and removing a squirrel from our attic, monitoring the space for any additional squirrels, and directing us where we needed to make repairs in order to avoid future unwanted visitors. They were prompt and helpful throughout our long wait for a roofer.

We have bait stations outside our home to bait/deter mice. STL Pest Control placed the stations and check them on a quarterly basis to replace/refresh the bait. The bait used is lethal to mice, but other animals who may eat the mice are not harmed. Since we've used these stations, we have no mice in our garage or basement!

Matthew was fantastic he was punctual professional and very knowledgeable. He was friendly and put me at ease and i felt a bit less embarrassed about the extreme infestation. He listened about my praying mantis war with the roaches and educated me about the life cycles and why although it was a good effort did not work to eradicate the population. He kindly dusted my daughters hoverboard and helped me understand how the treatment works to interrupt and break the breeding and life cycle of the cockroaches. He warned me that i would be seeing movement during the night as the spray is not a repellant and its good for them to walk through in across the spray. The spray he used brought out the mantis adults i did not know were still living behind my cabinets and they skittered their way outside where they actually should live. My skin is not on fire like when i treat with other products available to the general public. I also have extreme volumes of females with burstt eggsacs and dead nymphs that didn't get to run away and hide in the horrible way cockroaches do. I find myself grateful my landlady used STL Pest Control. The extermination is very necessar, the education on the infestation itself is a priceless knowledge

So thankful for these services. I always request Larry because he makes sure he gets every nook and cranny of my house to ensure my toddler is protected. We had a brown recluse spider situation that he caught and monitored for us. He always recommends the best services. If he thinks we need to upgrade to something he provides expert advice that we appreciate. He is extremely thorough and investigates each space. I had StL Pest Control come out and spray my home, mainly for preventative measures. I had recently seen a couple of cockroaches in my detached garage. And there is nothing more on this planet that I hate worse than a cockroach! So, it was either call an exterminator, or burn my house down. I went with the first option. I used this service many years ago particularly because I knew the owner. The service provided was outstanding, however, I was skeptical at first. We moved into a duplex and after one night there we noticed an infestation of roaches, a bad infestation! The owner came and sprayed, explained the different types of sprays the company uses and why, as well as what he was using on our house. He also explained that it would take some time before we notice that the bugs were going away. I am super impatient and so disgusted by roaches and the fact that there were so many of them, I called him up and said "I don't think it's working". He saidyou have to give it some time" I begged him to please come out and spray again. He was reluctant to do so, stating again that not enough time had passed. Nevertheless, he came anyway! I was so thankful. But of course I still saw lots of roaches running around. I called him back, he again tried to explain to me about the type of spray he used. It wasn't the one kind that kills the bugs right away. Instead they walk through the poison, carrying it back to the nest, and then spreads to the other roaches and so on and so forth. It just wasn't working fast enough for me. Again, I begged him to come back and spray again. He told me it would be pointless to do so because the poison he spray previously was working and it would be wasteful and unnecessary to keep doing it. I believe only to put my mind at ease, he agreed to come out one more time and treat the house. I was very impressed by that, because even though he knew the previous treatments were working and I was being impatient, he understood the urgency I felt. I believe he did it to make me happy, to make me feel better. I don't remember when we stopped seeing roaches in the house, all I know is at one moment we had an infestation and then all of a sudden we had not a single one! We lived there for 3 more years after that and never saw another roach again. Nor did we need to call him back or any one else for that matter. Once the bugs were gone, they stayed gone! But if I do ever need pest termination, I will always call STL Pest Control. I'll tell all my friends and family and everyone I know to call them too because not only do they do a great job but they care and empathize with their customers! Great job Rick and STL Pest Control!!

Upon calling STL Pest Control, they were able to come out the same day. We recently moved into a new property and needed service for all creatures that tend to hang around in vacant homes. Larry was professional, courteous, and made the experience a pleasure. He explained what he was doing the entire time and made sure all of our questions were answered. I had contacted STL Pest Control on Sunday, due to having a squirrel that got in between the roof and ceiling. I received a follow up text message same day letting me know they would call on Monday. I received that call as promised and got me scheduled for Tuesday. Tech Brian was assigned to my home, he was kind, professional, explained what needs to be done and what steps he was going to take. STL Pest Control automatically sets up follow up appointments to check the humane traps set. The prices are extremely fair and do not pressure you to sign up for services that you don't need. I am extremely thankful for the speedy and professional services provided. Would highly recommend them for your pest control needs.

I thought we had mice or a squirrel in our wall. And I call STL pest that morning. They were so friendly and knowledgeable on the phone and found an opening right for a technician to come out. Joe was the most professional and friendly technician we could have asked for! He didn’t try and sell us a fancy and expensive “service package” like another larger company did before they even checked to see what was causing the problem. He inspected our home thoroughly and gave us a accurate and fair treatment plan and price. He was wonderful with our dog and our little daughter who was interested in everything he was doing. Received a text with service providers name and photo, which as a woman I really appreciated! Was given a two hour window, and Larry was here in 30 mins once that time frame started. He was polite, professional and brought to my attention that I did not have roaches, instead they were water bugs. Wonderful to hear for obvious reasons, but also it was great because I was able to save money. So I've had a bit of a recluse infestation, found them in my upstairs bedroom and verified that yes indeed that it was recluses. Stl pest control have come out on 2 separate occasions both of my techs Mike and Larry did a great job, they explained in detail what I was dealing with and proper action to take after they bombed the attic and sprayed the entire house inside and out. I'm a bit of an arachnophobic so you can imagine how an actually dangerous spider didn't sit well with me. Thought we had a critter in our attic! Called STL Pest Thurs evening. Received a call at 8 am on Friday. A very knowledgeable and reassuring conversation followed with an explanation of their services and costs. We made an appointment for Sat as no openings were available for Friday. A cancellation occurred and Brian arrived about 12:45pm on Friday. He performed a thorough examination of the outside and our attic. He found no evidence of critters. Thinks we might be hearing raccoons or squirrels on the roof or gutter. Said we could set a trap (for a fee) , but didn’t see a need to do that! UPDATE: The owner contacted me after I posted the first review, asking if he could come out personally to answer our questions. We did catch a brown recluse in one of the glue traps, so he used a special treatment and assessed our space in general. I wasn't home at the time but my husband was impressed with how thorough he was, and I was reassured by the fact that apparently we're already doing a lot of things correctly (limited clutter, etc.). I would go with STL Pest Control again based on their responsiveness to my concerns after the first visit. This was our first experience with a pest control company. We've had brown recluses and centipedes in the basement, so thought it was time to address those issues. I will have to say, the tech was very polite and sprayed all areas in the home, plus the outside perimeter. He also put down glue boards. However, he didn't have answers to my specific questions. I asked if there was anything we could do on our own to reduce the population (especially the spiders), but he didn't have suggestions -- just mentioned that he'd do the treatment and put down traps. I appreciate that he did the job he came to do -- I just wish he'd been more knowledgeable, as I didn't feel my concerns were allayed. Even talking with us about problem areas or mentioning bugs he saw during the spray would have been nice. Hopefully the treatment works, but I would probably consider a different company for next time.

Woke up at 7am Sunday with a squirrel crawling along the top of my door frame to my closet. Left a message with STL Pest Control and they were out Monday to examine my home. The tech Mike, found an entry way just next to the front porch and the roof line. He laid some traps and explained the process and was very professional. I called with interest in someone coming to help me with a mouse problem that I had been having. I called and they were able to send someone out the next day which was great and convenient. The guy called when he was on his way and when he arrived I showed him all of the places that we had seen a mouse and he set bait and just pointed out some areas that they might be getting in. He didn't have anything to seal up the points of entry, which maybe I was expecting. The only reason I gave it four stars was the price/value. When I called and they gave me a price range, I wasn't sure what to expect where I would be in that range, but after he set bait blocks asked if I wanted to purchase an additional four bait blocks in a black container, like a mouse house, for $25 and told me my price was already at the max, I declined the additional item. Overall, it was nice to have someone come out and give me an opinion, but we've had previous company's set bait, fill holes, walk the perimeter of the house... for less cost. We get them each year, so I thought I would try someone new.

we have been in STL for 1 year and this was our second time getting ant/spider treatment but by a different company. we got ant/spider/mosquito treatment by STL pest control in June. When we ordered our treatment, we were mainly concerned w/ ants in our deck and our laundry room window. It has been a crazy rainy summer so less than a month later, we saw ants in our daughter's window and the dining area window. It's the weather that's probably not helping the treatment(according to the company) but the company was understanding that since it has been less than a month, they came back and treated the windows w/ the ants. They actually responded right away and came back the following day after I complained. Anyway, from the start of contact to the end, the staff are very reasonable and understanding and consider customer satisfaction a huge priority.

I've had to tell the office not to send one guy over because my dog, who loves EVERYBODY, definitely, definitely did not like him. The second guy they sent told me to lock up my dog and talks down to me. I just fired him; they just left. Looking for a new company who will actually SOLVE the problem I hire them for.

We were seeing some spiders in our basement that I was afraid were brown recluses. Stl pest control came out and sprayed the entire interior and exterior of my house for bugs. The guy even voluntarily sprayed my detached garage because he said insects/arachnids can easily migrate from the garage to the house. He did a thorough job, and we haven’t had any problems since! They were very reasonably priced and prompt. I called on a Thursday and they were able to come spray on Monday.
