I am really happy with the overall service provided by Pest Shield. The staff is friendly, responsive, and they were thorough in their description of the pricing and coverage. They offer opportunities for additional services you may need, but without being pushy. The service itself is super convenient, it’s affordable, and it works! We never see bugs around the house and when I had them spray for wasps (which is why I initially called), the wasps were gone by that evening.

He even arrived early so that I could make it to my morning class on time. Inspection was super thorough, no sign of bed bugs but he gave me great advice and showed me how to monitor for them. Clintin was very nice, explained things throughly, and always made sure he covered everything I asked. Also made sure if I was ever not happy with something to call and they would take care of it. They stick to their word because I needed another touch up spray after all the rain and they were happy to send someone out. So they sent Sean out with another gentleman(sorry forgot name) to respray. They made sure everthing was touched up and that I was happy. So far great service and would recommend.

Patrick is always efficient and observant and polite. He’s competent at what he does and I appreciate that they do not miss appointments. They are very accommodating and they take care of so many things I do not want inside: spiders and bugs and other unwanted creatures. Patrick even knocks down webbing and clears the area of any critters. Clint came out to give a termite estimate at a new property and he also was very friendly and knowledgeable about his company and the things they provide. Trina in the office is through, and helps you to understand everything that you may need to know about provided services. Todd was great! He initially came out to for carpenter bees. 9 years I have fought these and they are gone for the first time. While he was here he said he could repair sparrow holes in my stucco. He filled the holes and PAINTED! You can't tell where the holes were. I paid a stucco company twice as much and the job isn't nearly as neat and clean as Todd's. You can't even tell where they were. If that wasn't enough to be impressed by, he actually fixed the yucky job I did trying to fix a hole myself. Thank you so much Todd!! Pure Pest is definitely saved to my favorites on my phone!!

I definitely recommend going through pure pest! I found a couple brown recluses in my apartment and they were able to get me in same day only a couple hours later! I had Tanner come out to my apartment and he was very nice and respectful of my belongings when spraying, when he got here he even put shoe covers. He was very clear and understandable in explaining the process. He did a very thorough job and laid down a TON of sticky traps for good measure, I haven't seen any bugs since! I plan to use them going forward!

I called Pure Pests from a referral. We had squirrels in our attic/in the soffit. Pure pest was quick with sending out someone to match my schedule, and the field guy was very professional. I showed him the issues and told him I hadn’t heard the squirrels for a few days. After a bit of looking around, we found 2 dead squirrels in my backyard. He told me to listen for a few days, but it’s possible that the mom moved on. He explained the process they would do if the squirrels were to Come back, and didn’t charge me for the visit! We had a squirrel in our attic that would come and go. After a good inspection of the attic, Clint from Pure Pest was able to determine where he thought the squirrel was coming in through (broken screens under fascia) and patch them. He was professional and gave his opinion on ways to go about our squirrel problem. James from B&D came to my house and gave me quote for termite treatment. B&D treated my house in Fenton on August 16, 2017. They trenched around the perimeter of my house for the treatment. I didn't notice at the time of treatment that my vent hood for my downdraft cooktop was damaged (cracked) during the trenching. James and Jake did the treatment. I did notice this a couple weeks later when the hood was laying on the ground. On August 30, I called Jake (STL Manager) and without a whole lot of back and forth he said B&D would replace the hood which I thought was great. That day James called me and said he couldn't find the hood at Lowes and told me to get the hood and B&D would pay for it and install it. I called Jake the next day, August 31, and asked that B&D find the hood and install it since they damaged it and I had no idea where to get this hood and Jake agreed that B&D would find a hood that would work and install it which I thought was great again. It is September 19 and the hood has not been installed and Jake has not returned my calls from yesterday and today. Jake did replace the hood on September 20 but did not replace the flapper disk. So while it looks OK, this is essentially a hole in the wall without the flapper disk. Animals and insects are free to get into the duct and cold air was dumping out of the hood on this hot September day. I thought he would have known better than to not replace the flapper disk. Please inspect your property carefully after they trench around your house and get all agreements in writing. I would have given 3.5 stars if that was possible.
