He is always polite and great to work with. We appreciate the job well done and service McCarthy provides; all the way from scheduling with Debbie to the work being done by the technician. Lance is always on time and very professional! McCarthy also takes care of my business and does a great job there as well. I recommend them for both Business and Residential.

We have used McCarthy since buying our home in 2011. In that time, the only bugs in our home were those that flew in or were brought in by our dog. Bob was very knowledgeable when going over options in the beginning. The ladies in the office are always so pleasant and always tell me the techs name. Today's tech, Neil, was so great it brought me here. He made sure to introduce himself and knew my name. He went above and beyond making sure our home was protected. A great company to work with!

If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and affordable company to handle pests, I would highly recommend McCarthy. We recently had McCarthy inspect our home after we believed we had termites. Bob the technician came out and confirmed the bad news. We were of course very worried about this, but Bob explained everything and was able to ease our minds. He was so knowledgeable and was able to start treatment that day. Bob is seriously the best! He is so friendly, kind, and professional- great with our crazy dogs and kids! Everyone in the office has been nothing but nice and so easy to work with. We even had them come out and spray for ants today and again- the technician ( I'm sorry I cannot remember his name), was great! Efficient, explanatory, and kind! I am so thankful we have found them and highly recommend them for any of your pest control needs!

They have always provided incredible service from the friendly office staff to the technicians that come to the house, always on time and professional. The most recent inspection was by Chris. He was prompt, very nice and outgoing, extra patient with the dog, and did a thorough inspection/spray of the house and was willing to answer any questions. I have their service packages for termites, mosquito, and general house pests and they do a wonderful job of keeping me on schedule so we stay up to date on the service and no issue with bugs.

He took his time, was extremely personable and did not try to sell anything extra. While I was growing up my parents always had McCarthy Pest Control spray around the house to keep bugs from getting in. When I eventually got a house of my own it was then an easy decision to have McCarthy take care of all pest control needs for my own home too. After 7 or 8 years of personally being their customer I can confidently recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone. Lance is the person who usually sprays the inside and outside of my house and he is always punctual, professional, and hard working. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. This company is great because they come to your house for free to see what the problem is and your options. Bob took his time to look around while also giving knowledgeable information about what to look for. Chris C. came out to give my house its first treatment. He was extremely helpful personable, and answered all my questions and concerns. He took the time to treat the inside and outside of the house. We just moved in so I was glad to get a full treatment. He placed a couple of sticky traps around and gave me a few spares. I've had a few other experiences with McCarthy. Bob and Jeff have also been wonderful. You can tell they all really care about the customer and doing a good job. If I see anything after a treatment, they have come back at no charge to take care of the issue. Would one million percent recommend McCarthy to anyone. Great company 👍

I have used them for several years after switching from another company that wanted to treat for my basement spiders for a special over $1400 treatment. I got another quote from McCarthy who said it was part of their regular service and that the spiders were harmless cellar spiders. I had also had an ant issue while using the previous company (name began with an A). I have not had a single issue with ants or with spiders since switching to McCarthy. I have often recommended them to others. My recent technician Chris was very thorough and friendly. It a pleasure doing business with them!

Our house has remained pest free with our bi-monthly treatments. Our usual technician is Adam. He is knowledgeable and professional. He never cuts corners or leaves stones unturned. When a small rodent was found in our basement trap, Adam spent extra time looking for areas in the backyard they could be living or where it gained access to our basement. Once again, as always, a reminder call the day before, Adam always calls a few minutes out - I have dogs so it takes some coordination in keeping them "underwraps" so they can access all the rooms inside. Last year, I wanted something to stop the centipedes we were getting and signed up for their quarterly treatments. There used to be dozens regularly, and now I find a dead one about every 6 months. I also inquired about Termite Inspections and they did that for free. They even took the time to show me where the old tunnels and damage was located. Since I was being nosey and watched them work they even took time and explained a lot about centipedes and termites to me. Most recently, Lance did my first indoor winter treatment. He was professional, quick and made sure to cover any issues such as pets, young children, and personal belongings in areas where they would spray. Also, their phone operators are amazing. They pick up quick and resolve issues fast. I've only had to call them a couple times, but the service was great for both.

We recently discovered some active termites and started researching pest control companies. After looking at BBB and online review checks we narrowed it down to several companies and had them come out to perform home inspections. I found that most companies offer the same mitigation options for termites and the prices I received for initial treatment and annual maintenance were within 15% of each other. The same was true of the home inspections which were similar but McCarthy took more time to educate me on my problem, assess the damage and explain how their mitigation worked. Bob Richardson handled the home inspection and has been my technician going forward. Bob helped calibrate my concern about our problem by helping me understand how termites progress and the rate that they can damage a structure. He explained that while mitigation was needed my house was not on fire and I could the take time I needed to select the right company. I felt this was important because a worried home owner could be pressured to act immediately by a salesman and sign a contract quickly before more damage occurred. Bob was the opposite telling me to take my time with my due diligence and reach out when I was ready. Since July Bob has been on-site every 3-4 weeks checking on some targeted mitigation he suggested which seems to be working well. Bob is a well experienced technician and clearly very good with people. I trust his advice and would be very comfortable recommending McCarthy and Bob Richardson to anyone. Every contact I have had with McCarthy has been positive. My initial call and every subsequent conversation with office staff has been very friendly. The technician that did the initial bait station installs was on-time, considerate of my preferences for station locations and very professional. Finding termites in my house was an unwelcome surprise. Finding a company like McCarthy to address my problem was the silver lining to that experience.

We moved into the Central West End and had problems with the type of pest issues found living near large cities Many of our neighbors were using McCarthy Pest Control, so we thought we would try them. Tim, the owner of McCarthy, came to our home and accessed what we needed and put a quarterly plan together. The results have been wonderful. One of the things I really like is that it's always the same McCarthy service tech, Neil, who comes out to do the service. He's professional, knows our home and what the goal is of our particular service plan. He monitors the results of each service and makes adjustments when needed, we've never had that with any other pest control service. I would highly recommend McCarthy.

At the first inspection, they found a few very undesirable (dead) pests in old glue boards due to poor servicing by the previous company. Additionally, they generously renewed our service at our grandfathered price previous to our pest control switch. Also, something else that is important to us, our technician was in the military. Because I have been told some companies have less than ethical spraying practices, I always like to see what chemicals they are spraying and he was more than happy to report them to me. We had a brown recluse problem at our house and didn’t know what to do...we consulted with several local guys who all said that they could provide solutions to manage the spiders, but told us that the recluses would be impossible to fully get rid of. Tim came from out of state with his crew and high tech fumigation equipment...was able to gas the spiders to kill each one, including all of those INSIDE THE WALLS AND ALL OF THEIR EGGS! McCarthy was a HUGE blessing to our family and Tim has continued to provide fantastic follow up with us post-treatment. If you have a problem with recluses - these guys can FULLY solve it! We have been using McCarthy for years. When we first bought the house we noticed a lot of bugs. Getting on a regular schedule has eliminated nearly all of them. They do 1 inside and 4 outside treatments/inspections each year. We just got our inside treatment/inspection done for the year by Chris and everything looks good. We will continue to use McCarthy for as long as we have the house.
