We get Roland every time for our quarterly service. He is always professional and thorough. He always takes his time and gets all around the house and addresses any issues we may have. He then follow up with a very detailed text letting us know what he did. We have always had great service with Aptive.

We have not had any major issue with pests since using Aptive. When we did have one, they came out and did whatever they could to resolve the situation. However, only 4 stars because I have emailed customer service with no response, i had to deal with a significant billing issue that took weeks to resolve, and some of their workers do not let me know when they have arrived, so I can't let them know if I need anything done inside the house. Otherwise, great service.

Great job of controlling bugs; only see a Lone Ranger alive, but lots of dead ones. They are very good to accommodate my schedule needs, but don’t seem to be able to keep those notes from time of application to the next. But that’s ok as they do everything else very well.

The cost is moderately lower than what I had before. However, the provider spent three times as long with the application of products because they were MUCH more thorough. Updated after a year - have had some challenges with communication with some application technicians. Online reports have been pencil whipped - checking all the boxes on the completed services report when obviously not all those things were done. Impossible for indoor applications to be done if they never came indoors, right? Still working with them but not as thrilled as when the service was new. Original review - Had our second treatment today. So far things are going well, with a noticeable reduction in observed pests infiltrating our home and yard. Applicators have been good with communications and very professional. I would recommend them for regular pest control services.

Really can not review this recent treatment as I never saw them or received any type of notice to indicate they were here. In fact, I was about to call to ask if they had even been at my home when I got a text asking for a review. Except for exactly a 15 Min period I was home all day. They normally knock and ask me if I have had any issues or requests. But again I never saw them.

Going to cancel the service. It’s not working out. Still have ants and spiders. Was told that we would be charged 135.00 every three months. Barely signed up a month ago and got charged. The tech came out to the house trampled through the flower beds. Spent 5-7 minutes there and left. You can’t do a good job in that amount of time. Have spent over 200.00 in one month. Wife spent over and hour smoothing the beds and getting flowers upright. The wife said it will save money over terminex. It hasn’t

It took me a few years before I finally decided it's was worth it to pay for treatments, mainly after finding a brown recluse spiders. We always struggled with wasps, but a brown recluse in the house was enough. Aptive uses environmentally friendly products for wasps, which was always a selling point. My main hesitation was not wanting to sign a year contract, but in the end, I do believe it was worth it. Mainly, the technicians who come are very friendly and thorough. They will also come back if you see a spider and treat that specific area. Thus, it's really worth it because while you only pay for 4 treatments a year, you get unlimited treatments if you find something, a.k.a. a brown recluse. They send you an email afterwards telling you everything they did, and they will also verbally tell you all the places they sprayed outside and if they took down spider webs. They will spend as much time as needed to remove wasp nests, even if live wasps are present. I'm very impressed and happy.

Aptive Environmental is a great pest control company for indoors and outside of your home. The phone staff is easy to talk to and they are eager to meet your needs. The technician who recently sprayed my house did a fantastic job! He was an excellent listener and did a thorough job. It’s nice to see someone take pride in doing the job right. I have been battling a flea infestation for months and had my house sprayed many times. I spent so much money on cans of Raid, Hot Shot and foggers. But then I called Aptive because I was already a regular customer. I explained what I was going through and scheduled a service date. It took two treatments (along with all the other things I did) and finally I feel like my home will soon be free of pesky fleas! What a relief! Give Aptive a try if you have a pest problem.

I spoke with a very professional sales representative on a Wednesday night. Aptive was out the next day in the two hour window they indicated they would b servicing my home. Corey serviced my house exterior and answered all the questions I had and indicated what to expect after the service. He was incredibly knowledgeable and was finished very quickly.

The Technician was very polite and courteous. He explained exactly what he was going to do, discussed the service contract and noted my concerns from the sales people - who did not explain contract cancellation. He identified this was a 12-month service contract and explained when he would be coming back (30 days) for the second treatment, plus their willingness to come out in between applications to treat specific areas as required at no additional charge. He was careful in his application and respectful of plantings. When finished he rang the doorbell and confirmed what he completed. Excellent first impression!

Door to door salesman finally caught my husband, who signed us up for a year of indoor and outdoor treatments for everything. The salesman also didn’t actually input our address or have him verify, so that led to its own mess. Incomplete information means our first indoor treatment had to be rescheduled. The technician arrived on time around the block, to our neighbor’s house. After we discussed the indoor treatment problem, he completed service outside. A call to the office line, over 10 minutes of waiting (due to large call volumes) and a new appointment was scheduled for the weekend and the person said they’d corrected our address. Cue Saturday morning and the call that the technician is on the porch and has rung the bell and no one is answering. I called the house, no one is on our porch. I called the technician and verified the address, and he’s at the same neighbor’s house. Once that was corrected, he did the service with no trouble. Several days later the fruit flies are still everywhere. I call the office (another long wait) to schedule another service with a specific time frame. The following week, a technician arrives at the correct house, but an hour early, and was unable to do the service. He rescheduled me AGAIN before he left. The next morning I got a text that the scheduled service was being rescheduled. I called (another long wait) and got another appointment time for another weekend slot, which triggers daily texts. Until 2 days before the appointment when the text now says it has been rescheduled for the following Saturday. Needless to say, when this contract is up, we will not renew.

Aptive Pest Control is really great. I get 2-3 texts in the 2 weeks leading up to the visit. Our “sprayer” is always polite and friendly. He comes to the door and asks about any issues we may be having, and then also let’s us know what he has sprayed and when he is leaving. If we ever need them to come back (which we never have), they are ready to send someone out again. We are auto-billed, and the entire service and process is easy and streamlined. And, of course, very effective with ridding out house and yard of bugs!

Sebastian sold us our service and was extremely professional and kind. They were patient and also called someone to spray for us right away since we wouldn't be available tomorrow. Lawrence was the individual who came out to spray our yard, and he was at our house within 15 minutes of the phone call. Lawrence was also extremely kind and professional. Both of them communicated what chemicals they were using, any safety precautions we should take, and they sprayed our entire yard extremely quickly! I recommend them highly.

I was pleasantly surprised with the interactions I had with Kory on the initial service. He made common sense observations of my home and took a few extra steps to ensure my needs were met. Isaiah was very friendly, helpful and hard working. He spent a good 3 hours in wiping/brushing off my front porch, around my entire house exterior windows and spraying perimeter of house and yard. He sprayed all rooms inside my home and took some extra time in the problem area, ants and gnats in our upstairs bathroom. He sprayed something different in the sink, shower and tub spouts. Hired this service from door-to-door representative by the name of Justin. He was very informative, professional and gave me an 80% discount due to the high number of sign-ups in my area (and me being a nice person I'm sure ;-) ) anyway...the service was excellent. One thing I like was the spider web cleanup around the entire house and the yard treatment within a certain perimeter of the house. They also let me know the treatment would cause the bugs to come out at first, which I understood, and after a few weeks and coming up to the second (quaterly, great price I got) treatment the inside and a lot of outside (my main concern) would start to be disappear (of it's best potential ofcourse). This rep was clean cut, professional, educated on the business and was providing a service I well needed! We have been using Aptive for the past two years. Started out a little rocky, but things have improved. We now have the same person coming out, Miguel, who does a great job both inside and outside. He is very thorough in doing our inspection and spraying every three months. Miguel talks to us on each visit to see if there are any problem areas before he begins and also puts granules in the yard for protection of flees and ticks. Communication with the office staff could use some improvement, including advising what time slot we are in when they send text reminders the day prior to your scheduled appointment. All in all I would recommend using Aptive as they are reasonably priced and will work with your schedule and/or address any issues you may have.

The Aptive representative, Emily, who came to take care of our home was professional, exactly on time and thorough concerning the coverage outside our home. I was surprised that only the doorways leading outside were covered on the interior, versus spraying throughout the interior of the house, but she reached as far as 3 stories high to clean the eaves of any bug evidence- very thorough outside! I docked a star because I don’t see how all that long hard work outside will effectively rid us of the “cellar spider” types on the 3rd story and basement floor of my home. I have young kids who don’t enjoy playing in our finished basement when they see a stray spider. So, we’ll see! If you work with a representative who visits your home (rather than over the website- he told me it’s pricier online) and if outside is where you need it most, this is DEFINITELY your pest/bug company. There were comments/reviews I saw about “pushy salesmen.” I would say that the salesman that came to my home wasn’t any less or more “pushy” than the next one. Averagely pushy, but still polite!

He was low pressure and after I told him I worked in sales he cut straight to the chase with the price and what we will get for the quarterly payments. He even “threw in” two optional services. This business charges me $85 per visit and visits quarterly. They have an app but it is useless. You cannot send messages or order services on the app. They send you a text message to alert you they are coming but if anything needs to change or you want them to treat something specific you must call. I called and spoke to a representative about getting my date rescheduled due to heavy rains coming in and asked that they treat for fleas, ticks, and ants while they were here. But they came and were gone in 15 minutes, not treating what I asked for. Now I must go through the hassle of calling them, again, to get them to come back out. Very frustrating

They showed up relatively quickly and explained the entire process. Tech was outgoing and efficient. It was raining and they scheduled a quick follow up for the same day to spray in the siding for wasps. Overall good experience, left me feeling like my wife and I made the right choice in signing with them. Follow up. I’ve dropped them from the initial five star rating to a three. They have never sprayed INSIDE my house, which has a minor spider issue, probably because they NEVER bother to show up on one of the two days a week that either my wife or I have scheduled days off. This was part of the original agreement which they haven’t tried to honor since the first treatment. Costs a bit more money than I thought as well. Definitely take the time to read all of the fine print before agreeing to their service. I did not and am now paying for it, literally.

I had been using Aptive for 9 months until recently. I called Aptive to ask them to move my appointment because I didn't want them treating my house with the amount of snow we had on the ground. They refused to move my appointment. When I said I'd like to cancel my service instead (I was very unhappy with the experience) they told me there'd be a $130 charge to cancel. End result: I got treatment that I didn't want at a time when I didn't want it, and now I have canceled. Everything could have been resolved with a customer service agent who listened to my concerns and worked with me. Very poor customer service experience. Update: It turns out the woman who I spoke to never cancelled my account - or logged any notes reflecting the bad experience that I had. Today (three months later) I got a notification that my service was coming up again. I called and I spoke with Megan, one the Loyalty Managers at corporate. She had no notes about my prior experience so I had to explain to her what had happened. She apologized for my experience three months ago, assuring me that it was an exception and not how Aptive does business, and remedied the situation. I'm going to give Aptive another chance because of my conversation with Megan today.

We had a wasp infestation in our yard and called aptive to help us with the extermination. Javon came by and not only helped get rid of our wasps, but cleaned the outside of our house with a brush he sprayed to get rid of all the spider webs and prevent them from coming back. I'm not sure if it's part of the package or if Javon just noticed that we had dogs and decided to spray our entire yard with flea and tick repellent, but now our puppies are safe to play outside! It was excellent service! Javon was polite and friendly and did all this work in under an hour!
