Having rats and mice is not fun. The staff at Sentinel was professional, kind and through. Ashley in the office asked good questions and got our inspection scheduled right away. She sent an email with a photo of the inspector, which I appreciated. Erich, the inspector, was great. He answered all my questions and had lots of information and choices for how Sentinel could service our home. We had our first service the next day. Markus, the tech, repaired our broken foundation vents and placed traps and bait stations. He came prepared and got done quickly. He considered our dogs in the plan. Sentinel has an online portal that has all of our documents and is convenient for managing our service. We are very happy with our service from Sentinel.

We recently moved into a new place that shortly after presented us with bed bugs. We also had a family emergency and we reached out to Sentinel for help, immediately they called me and set up the inspection came out and treated my house at no cost to my family. My son is fighting leukemia and is coming home soon. I was obsessed with getting those bugs out. Sentinel saved my life - truly! Jesse always arrive at the precise time he’s said he would, which avoids sitting around during a “window” of hours waiting. We had a rat infestation in our attic and evidence of rats in the yard. Jesse set out bait stations in the yard and traps in the attic. At first, he had to remove dead rats from most of the attic traps on each visit, but the traps have been empty the past two months. Dining at the bait stations has been light. Plus, Jesse is just a really nice person!

My wife an I recently moved to Puyallup and found a pretty overwhelming ant problem at our new house. I called several businesses and decided to go with Sentinel because of their customer service during our initial conversation. Lee was great- we spoke on Monday and the specialist, Marcus was out at our property by Wednesday morning. I can’t say enough about how great Marcus was to work with- he was patient with my questions, he educated me on the process, and he had a great sense of humor! It has been one week since our initial treatment and Marcus has already visited again to check in and treat our property once more- Overall, Marcus has gained us as a life client and I will be referring anyone and everyone who has a pest issue to Sentinel!

She was able to schedule us quickly for an inspection of our newly-purchased home and treatment of the ant colony that moved in with us. I am so impressed with Sentinel! Their communication is prompt and friendly, and the service was top notch compared to another company I tried last year. I called when I saw a few ants and scheduled for Tuesday--but then on the Friday before, the swarmers suddenly exploded in the house at a scary volume. I called just to see if they could come sooner, and even though the pest controllers were already out and about, they agreed to come by within a few hours. They showed up right when they promised, took a careful look at everything, and explained exactly what happened and why (super reassuring just to KNOW). They gave me options for treatment with no pressuring or scare tactics, answered some of my questions about the over counter spray I had just used, and promised to check up on me in a week if I didn't call them sooner. Well, I'll have a happy report: by the next morning, I already saw a substantial decrease, far sooner than expected. Now I'm just getting the occasional straggler and it's not even been the usual wait period. Also, a very reasonable price. I am very cheered to have such a reliable and knowledgable and just plain nice set of experts to turn to.

I emailed Sentinel Pest Control through their website on Wednesday after finding a spider crawling around on my computer desk. I hate spiders and my wife is terrified of bees/wasps. We kept seeing the latter on our back deck. I always try and use local company's when possible. They had someone at our house the next day to do the inspection. He was a wealth of knowledge. The inspector found the wasp nest under the deck and inspected around the property as well as in the attack and under the house in the crawl space. I didn't expect much, but he spent a couple hours looking around the property and explaining problems to us. We live on a gravel road next to a green belt and get some "Harry Potter" sized rats in the fall. He pointed out several points of entry and went over a plan of action. At no point did we ever feel like he was trying to sell us a service. It was just an informational visit. We opted to get the attic and crawlspace fogged, rat traps out and a monthly service until things are under control. The technician was out the very next day. He spent a few hours fogging the house and laying rat traps. Very courteous and professional. He even spent time going around the outside tearing down spider webs. We have two dogs and both times the technicians greeted them and did not mind them being around when it was acceptable. Overall, this is the only company I will call in the future.

Erich Sullivan came out to our house to give us a quote. My husband wanted to to get a few other quotes and when I let Erich know he was still very nice and helpful. That night I saw rats running around INSIDE our home! He mentioned that techs were not available for a week. I called him next day and he said he would just come out himself since he was working. I called Sentinel to do an inspection and crawl space cleanout after noticing a bad smell coming from my kitchen cabinets. Note: I had had another company (EcoElite, and formerly Mathis and Action) providing regular consistent service for 15 years. That company clearly did not do their job as we discovered. Brandin Haynes their inspector was a godsend!! He came out and diagnosed the problem. But that’s not all he did. He went above and beyond helping to check everywhere in my kitchen where we could smell the smell. He patiently fielded my calls. Then Emmett their pest technician came out and performed exclusion services. Emmett was top notch as well!! My cleanout was done today, and Sentinel will be doing my monthly pest control services. After losing trust in the previous company I had contracted with, it takes a bit to rebuild trust. The caliber and competence of the Sentinel team have won me and my husband over and give me hope I can trust my pest control company again. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for someone to battle serious problem or provide competent ongoing control. We live on on 5 acres and know the challenge. Explained why I was having a problem, what I could do to mitigate it, then sprayed my entire house in 20 minutes and I haven't seen an ant since. Will use them for bi-monthly treatments to keep the ants from coming back and would recommend them to anybody.

It started with the smell of something dying... It was under the house and coincidentally in just the right place that the smell came through the vent... I was using the stinkiest essential oils to keep the smell away for over two weeks. Not only did Sentinel Pest Control go under the house... They took pictures and it was disgusting. The dead rodents,feces, urine torn and hanging molded installation!!! They cleaned, deodorized and replaced the installation. My Dad didn't have anymore stuffy noses and colds after that. I had a wonderful experience and was very satisfied with their work.

We just purchased our home and our laundry vents area smelled off in a serious way and then we heard birds chirping...come to find out they found they're way into the ventilation before we bought the home. I called multiple people to come out but they Sentinel were the ones who got it done for what I consider a very good price. It took two days due to the depth of which the bird buried the next in but it went from what we thought were 3 baby birds to 5 of them. Thank God they got out, while the birds damaged some of the ventilation due to the nest, Sentinel was very professional in letting me know that could be the case before the work was even done. Great company, the boss even came out to do the work himself due to the situation. Would recommend for your pest needs...and they didn't hurt any of the birds.
