Super Happy w EcoShield who we’ve relied on for nearly a decade. Initially, we contacted them because they use ecologically safe chemicals to treat an ant problem, that was safe for our pets. A couple of years ago we upgraded to their spider (w/ web removal) service. Their communications are exemplary, they’re prompt, dependable, & their service technicians the most pleasant and professional you could hope for! The impetus for this review is their outstanding new mosquito program and today’s service by Lito A. & Mike N.—two fantastic individuals who were both very informative in how everything worked. Highly recommend ECOSHIELD.

We bought into a house with an existing ant problem. After remodeling the house I was very surprised, but they came back. I was polling friends for their exterminators, just yesterday, and the loveliest young man (Cole) came to my house and asked if I had any pest problems. Not a fan or people dropping by my house, but this guy was just delightful. I signed up right away. The technician, Eric, came by today. Again, another fantastic person! If this guy would be my normal technician I would probably be a customer for life. Polite, interesting, super nice and worked quickly and efficiently. My friend terminated her service with another company because the techs were scary and didn't do what they said they would do. I've already sent her Ecoshield's information. Super happy.

EcoShield came at just the right time, I was just talking about how I needed the ants in my new place to be taken care of and as if my wish was granted they came, the ants have been driving me mad and nothing I have done would keep them away so I hope that having a schedule for a professional to come in will do the trick. Payton and Cameron are very nice and professional, and came at the perfect time. The crevices was fast and easy, and the gentleman was very knowledgeable. I am looking forward to seeing the ants gone.

It’s been an extremely stressful time !!! and had almost forgotten about my pest control services contract. We have been using EcoShield for last two years. Today DAndre was our service tech. He was so professional and very thorough. When I told him we had seen a few sugar ants over the last couple of months, he came inside and sprayed around the entry points and gave us extra glue traps if needed. They approach the process in a professional manner. Provide a 1 week notice of arrival and technicians arrive within the stated window. EcoShield provides a detailed list of chemicals used after treatment. Automated billing so no need to provide credit card information to onsite technicians.

I've had great success with EcoShield. I was approached by a salesman and offered a better deal than my previous company. Although I was happy with my other company, they had not been able to eradicate a rat issue that was problematic for us, and honestly a neighborhood problem. I agreed to try them out. Not only did they eliminate the rat problem in two visits, they did more cleaning and spider management too. All the service techs are polite and proficient, but I really enjoy my normal tech Ka'ili (sp) as he is very friendly and also explains every thing he has done or needs to do in detail as well. Whenever I call the office, Angie is super helpful and quick to handle all my questions and issues. She went above and beyond to help me handle an account matter today. I'd definitely recommend EcoShield.

I’m only giving a five star because of Windy to calm my frustration of things that went wrong. After my contract, I am still canceling because my husband can do the same thing and a lot cheaper. I asked to do indoor and outdoor. I’m home and they do not knock or ring my doorbell in order to come inside. I’m paying $154 plus cents for what reason. I have cameras everywhere outside of my home and watching videos I seen you guys don’t care at all about my home. I even ask whoever comes to spray areas that hasn’t been sprayed when I ask them to do and they said they did. Watching my cameras, they lied to my face! I will never recommend my friends or anyone!

Today I had the pleasure of interacting with Mary, Customer Service, and Hunter, technician. Hunter was the best tech we’ve had here. He was so sweet and thorough. The other techs who’ve been here have been good, but Hunter seemed to go above and beyond. He personally placed the ant traps inside the house (as opposed to giving them to us to place). He also did something I haven’t seen the other techs do, fill the cracks around the house. The others may have done it and I didn’t see them. Kudos to Hunter! Also I spoke with Mary at Customer Service. She was very pleasant and a joy to talk to. Thank you both for your great customer service.

I already had a pest control control company prior to being visited by an EcoShield representative. That day the rep offered me a competitive rate, better customer service experience, and satisfying pest control through more eco friendly means than our current company. So I decided to make the switch based on those promises. When I saw my bank statements reflecting something other than what he promised (reasons unknown), I called the local existing client line and spoke with HEATHER. We were able to get everything sorted out and she was essentially able to honor the agreement which the rep and I made on the day he came to my door. I would say the customer service so far has made the switch worth it and is competitive.

In all honesty, we don’t enjoy their products, the issues still pertain, no matter how many re-service they do. Plus it depends on the specialist, we did re-service for a couple of times, but every time they left, we went home and checked, the spiders we saw in the same area were still there…BUT Lito the specialist from our last service and Joshua the representative are both very professional and trustworthy. The specialist went through the whole house thoroughly! Joshua on the other hand, tried to offer a solution to our cancellation, we don’t think we’ll continue the service with them, but both of them deserve a applause.

While the exterminators are very helpful and good at their job I am writing this review in regard to Customer Care Specialist, Chleid A. His customer service was much appreciated as he showed compassion towards us. Chleid not only listened to our concerns and health challenges, but went above and beyond to do right by us after asking about our reason for canceling. When Chleid learned I had to cancel services due to not being able to breathe after pest control had been here. I own an older home built in 1930 with significant space between the walls and floor that allow carpenter ants to get in during the summer and generally we just have a lot of cracks and entrances for pests so this service was appreciated. He also pointed out and suggested replacing a failing crawlspace entrance with a new door which I hadn't considered as my current setup allowed just enough room for rodents to enter. Thank you KRIS and TRENTON for stopping by! We recently moved into a new home and have been a bit overwhelmed with being first-time owners and upkeeping maintenance. Kris came by the day before to explain their service plans and go over their pest control strategy. He has a lot of great energy, explains what they're looking for, and spends time educating you on keeping your home proper. Now... I've seen a few reviews about other people having contract issues, but would say this is NOT bad/deceitful practice - most companies offer their service under some type of contract so as to maintain routine preventative care. Kris clearly went over the language before I initialed; there may have been a breakdown in communication for some customers, which is unfortunate since they do provide a service I'd prefer to contract out, and they do a great job! (I think some people don't read/listen well and just hear "great deal" and write the terms/conditions in their own minds. Regarding SERVICE, I wanted to see everything they performed. They really get into the bushes/ivy to make sure the base of the exterior is properly coated, scrub the siding and underneath the rain gutters, look for signs of rodent pests and lay traps out, place repellent along the mulch, coat the interior baseboards, and inspect/trap-set the crawl spaces. I was a bit concerned about having any allergic reaction to the in-house chemicals, but was fine. This was a very comfortable experience, and would have them service our home again. -Jon

Service does not take calls or messages in the weekend. Calls are all screened electronically, even when returning a call with an extension number. Waits on hold averages 15-20 minutes. Initial service did not place 3 bait boxes as stated. Rescheduling was not done at the time requested and instead of contacting me as stated, I was assigned a time outside my stated availability. Maybe this is the industry standard, but not mine. I terminated service the following day, which required a call back again… Thankfully Courtney agreed to call me back and scheduled it in her calendar. Courtney you are the light in my experience with this company!

When the seasons change, sometimes there is an increase in spiders or ants and the company comes in between their regular 3 month service to take care of any additional issues. After hearing some skitter scatter noises in our home, I called EcoShield to come out and have our every other month service performed. Lito showed up yesterday, did a thorough examination of potential hot spots, placed sticky traps where we didn't have any and was super knowledgeable not only about the habits of mice and rats but also what EcoShield can do for us. Lito was great also about spraying around the perimeter of our home, placed additional bait traps, checked out the pony attics we have and told me about super rodents - evidently they can leap pretty far. I'd like to see that, but not leaping into my house. Additionally, we looked into getting an inspection for a quote do to extractions and he was able to get that set up for us. The inspection is free of charge! We've been incredibly satisfied with EcoShield's service and am happy we hired them.

I have used this company for about a year now. It has made my house bug free. Behind my house is forest so I get tons of spiders and ants in the back, also last visit they found 6 wasp nests! I love that they come out quarterly but will come for free in between for quick fix jobs so if I start seeing spiders in the back yard again I call them and they come handle it for free. Super easy to schedule, they always send reminders and call before they come.

I signed up with EcoShield yesterday for a one year service when Tyler the owner, was making his rounds on one of his routes. Tyler was very thorough in his explanation about the services, payment and cancelation fees. The initial service charge to start was $350 (tax not included), I was given a $250 discount, hence the amount of the initial service was $100 (tax not included) and $170 (tax not included) for the future recurring services. Tyler was very upfront about how the contract cancellations worked and did mention that if you cancel before your contact is up, you will need to pay the cancelation fee which will be the $250 that they took off from the initial service charge. And if you cancel after your contract is up, there is no cancellation fee. You will just need to let them know as soon as your contract ends. Richard was the technician that had come out today to complete the initial review and service. He arrived early and was very professional and did a wonderful job. He did the exterior, garage, car port, attic and interior in a very efficient and thorough manner. He answered any questions that I had and didn't hurry to complete the job. This is the initial service and I look forward to the next service. I will update my review after the next service.

EcoShield has been a great service for me. We had a vacant house next door that turned into a rat farm. Needless to say, the whole block got pretty much infested.. They came out for my neighbor, while there went out checking with the other neighbors about their problem with the rats. They offered me a great discount, and have been servicing my property ever since. I am happy to say, I haven't seen a rat in a few months now, it's great.. They have been servicing my house for a year. Really great service and I like their web portal. I also like that you don't have to be home for their exterior maintenance (unless you have a specific problem you want to be home for). Usually they take around 15min and I have had a new person each time, but always friendly and professional. For spiders, bees, removing webs/nests outside my house, they have done great at that. Price is reasonable for me as well ($120 every 3 months). Only problem is one time I had an ant problem and they came over twice and couldn't fix it. I ended researching some ant killer products and used that and it worked for me. Wish they could've done a better job at that.

They let you know when they are coming and show up at the time they promise. They don't jerk you around. A great company. Brian has always done our service and the guy is really professional. We like his friendly attitude and he always does a diligent job when he comes by. The pricing can't be beat. I highly recommend EcoShield over anyone else in the area. EcoShield was out in the area and we discussed with them about getting rid of our spider issue. Based on the awesome service we received, we decided to sign a contract to keep out any unwanted critters. In the summer, we had an issue with a paper wasp nest about 30 feet up under our eaves. EcoShield came out and eliminated the issue with no problems. They also went up in the attic to ensure that there were no wasps that had made it inside and tried to start a residence there as well. Lucky, for us, they didn't and the wasps never returned. Brian is the assigned technician to our home. He has always been on time, is extremely friendly and tells you exactly what is going on. He's a real stand up guy. We have been very satisfied with our service. They are also very reasonably priced and much better than some of the other companies that we have used before.
