We had our treatment today done by Damian Thornwall. I was very impressed by his professional service. He asked if there were any specific problem areas and was thorough in explaining what he was going to do. I was also outside doing some things while he was doing his work. He seemed to be very thorough in application of the treatments. Moxie isn't the least expensive option out there. However, I appreciate how they appear to be very service oriented. At least that was my experience with Damian today.

They came out just a couple days after we called them and the service guys have been great and very thorough. We were still seeing a few spiders a week later and asked them to come for a respray and they did with no complaint. I hope it does the job. Casey was our technician today, and we experienced a superb service call. We have had Moxie service since early 2020, and this was the most thorough and explainitive service we had since our initial visit. Casey explained why we weren't getting our fly bags at the time of each visit instead of a week later, and advised us on how he would fix it to ensure our horse stable was cared for at the same time as our home. I appreciated the extra time to explain the why, and I believed he will in fact make the corrections that were causing the delay. Moxie has completely transformed our pest situation and we can't say enough good things about the company, the call representatives, the technicians, and the quality of service they provide!

We had our first visit by Moxie Pest Control today, to treat the in- and outside of our new house. While we can't say anything yet about the effectiveness of the treatments, we were quite pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of both technicians, Michael and Tanner. They called ahead to let us know that they were running early (yay!), came prepared with shoe covers for use indoors, and patiently answered all of our questions. They were also very accommodating to our concerns about the safety of our indoor cat. Michael let me take photos of the ingredient lists of the products they used today, and of an organic product for potential indoor use down the road, so we know exactly what was applied and can do further research for future treatments.

He made sure he understood exactly what I needed to be done. He then explained what treatments he would be applying. I am a new homeowner and ever since I moved in a year ago I have been having pest problems relatively frequently. It was always annoying but this fall the spiders really became too much! I was putting off calling pest control for fear of being taken advantage of and lied to, being a single unmarried woman and it is my first time owning a home. After seeing multiple black widows in my garage and being too afraid to remove the wasp's nest on my front porch I finally decided to bite the bullet and get some help. I had multiple different groups of friends refer me to Moxie! And I am so glad they did. I was able to get on the schedule the very next day. When Jason arrived I knew I was in good hands. He inspected both the interior and exterior of my home and took care of all my concerns removing the nest and the black widows, and even stopping to greet my cat! Jason was so patient with all my different questions, he walked me through the process and when he left I felt such relief and I even gained some knowledge on different bugs! I will be coming back and keeping my quarterly service. Moxie is the place to go, ask for Jason!

They always advise me when to expect their technician and I can rely on the fact that they will be there on time and provide the services requested. Their customer service is very good and responsive. I’ve only needed to speak with them a few times but they have always been helpful and courteous. I definitely recommend this business. I recently added their rodent control to eliminate a problem with mice in the house. The additional cost is well worth the custom program. The technician made sure I understood how to use the bait traps as well as offering other options to address this issue.

They were responsive, professional, friendly and completed scheduled maintenance quickly. This is our first treatment, so I am unable to attest to the effectiveness of the products they use. I used to have Elevate Pest Control treat my home for pests and they would have to come back to repeat their service every single month (even though their treatment is supposed to last quarterly). Elevate never once tried treating for mosquitoes, even though it was one of my main concerns, but Moxie went around my entire yard to treat it. Would recommend them to anyone!

Joseph was our technician today, and he was great. He walked the entire property and took care of everything. He paid special attention to our kids play house outside which is magnet for bees and spiders. He was friendly and courteous.

A client can not be expected to be available all day for moxie to come service. Due to my yard with locking gates, dogs and a pool I must be home to have them do a service. I’ve been impressed with my experience so far! First, Jeremy who came to my door and explained the service and found some wasps nests my current provided didn’t and advised to tell the tech. I was given a window 9 AM to 11 AM… I figured they wouldn’t show up right away so decided to take a shower. They tech DID show up on time but I didn’t know till I got a text asking how the service went. I called the company because there was a wasp nest in an electrical outlet that was missed and the dispatcher was able to get the tech to come back out quickly. Dale did such a great job! I was running late for my appointment. With a quick call to the office, they related that to Dale and he waited the extra 10 minutes for me. By the time I got there, he'd already sprayed the outside and only had the interior of my house left. That allowed enough time for the outside to dry, so my pets could be put outside safely while he sprayed the inside. He was fast, efficient and professional. He even wore booties over his shoes inside the house. This is my first treatment I've used Moxie for. Excited to see the results!

Haven’t had a huge need for pest control until this summer because what I was doing previously had seemed to keep the spider and ants at bay. This summer, different story. I was referred to the salesman, Jake Brunko, by a friend. I called and explained to him what was happening. First, the level of active listening I felt from Jake was very reassuring. He asked questions for clarification and helped me understand why home remedies are becoming harder to maintain a barrier against the pests. He then went in to explain the type of service they could provide and the products that would be used ensuring that they are safe for everyone in my home including a Siberian husky and a 2 month old baby girl. He scheduled the service and gave me an expectation of communication from the office. Andy, from the customer service department called and was extremely nice even though I made her call back twice because I had been at the children’s museum with my toddlers. She was clear and concise about the terms and making sure that I understood the service parameters. My service technician was Marcus and what a guy. Thorough, very friendly and communicates famously. He had a service partner with him but I can’t remember his name but he receives the same sentiment as Marcus. They were early to the scheduled time because a spot happened to open up which was fantastic for my schedule. They completed the service quickly and efficiently. I have absolutely only the best of recommendations for this company. Top to bottom I received very high quality interaction. Update: they came and re serviced the house/yard. However we will be watching the service more carefully each visit to make sure we are getting what we pay for. Original review: They were here less than 6 minutes. We pay a lot of money. I'm not sure they are doing all the services around the exterior of the house. They are suppose to clean the eaves and around the windows in addition to spraying around the foundation of the property. I question that all of that can be done in that amount of time around a 3,600 sq foot home, even with 2 people.

I have had two services that were great. But I had to call for a reservice and asked that the tech call me 30 minutes before arriving and he never called so after waiting all day I stepped out to run a quick errand at 7:30 pm figuring that I would get a call so I could be home. Moxie Pest Control was on time, very professional, and very efficient. They did a general home foundation treatment and also cleared away spider webs and wasp nests. They also did an application for ants on the periphery of our home and spot=trest for ants in the lawn, and a lawn application for teh entire lawn for grub and pest control. They offered to come back - at no charge - if the service did not accomplish what we wanted it to do. The price for the service is not the least expensive around, but after previously contracting with two other lower-cost pest control companies in years past, Moxie provides the best service and (all things considered) the best value for our pest control needs.

UPDATE: We got our dogs back the next morning. It was a long night not knowing where they were. A rep from Moxie called me when I had already gotten them back and left a message. I didn't return her call. Today someone from Moxie showed up at our house with a very nice gift basket of treats and toys for our dogs (they knew we had gotten our dogs because they saw my Facebook post), they apologized sincerely for the mistake and they refunded our last service. I'm personally still wary about any service contractors coming into my back yard but this personal touch meant a lot to me and to my husband and so I felt I needed to update my review. Mistakes happen and I feel that Moxie has done everything possible to rectify. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I cancelled my service today when, on day of service, I received 3 texts and a phone call letting me know I had an open invoice. That's just annoying but not so annoying that I'd feel like writing a negative review. The reason for the review is that when they did the service today they left the back gate open and my two dogs escaped and have now been missing for 4 hours. I'm beyond angry. I called and the girl on the phone simply said "I'm so sorry for your dogs. I'll be sure to let a manager know." I had just discovered my dogs missing when I called so I definitely wasn't thinking straight but that is a pathetic level of customer service to provide to someone whose dogs are missing because of your mistake. I would NEVER recommend Moxie to anyone.

Blake came for a follow-up service for a wasp problem we are having. I went outside to show him where the nests were. I merely pointed to where I saw one going in and it flew at and stung me. We showed him the 3 other nests and he said this was the worst wasp infestation he has seen. Regardless of him seeing me get stung and how many there were, he went straight to work and was very professional. The nest above the light fixture on the front porch was tricky because most of the wasps were actually behind it. That made it necessary for him to be in close proximity of the nest so he could spray a deterrent. I was impressed ALL the way around. He even made an additional follow-up since the infestation was so severe. He also needed to spray our flowers for aphids. After he did that he even treated some chincher bugs in my lawn. Serious extra mile effort on Blake's part! I hope he's the one that gets to come back.

Started service about 3 months ago. They were detailed with what I saw them doing. Have a bad issue with ants in the cement cracks, spiders around a play gym and mice around my storage shed. They treated all areas and it seems to be working. I had to call twice to have the ants hit again and they responded quickly. Just had Justin Watts come out again was very polite and provided follow up information about the ants. He did the service again. Although the ants continue to be an issue they are not appearing as often. Hopefully we are getting to the main nest.

Their customer service is outstanding! Every time I’ve asked them to come out and spray for ants (we have an unusual amount of ants here) they send someone out within 24 hours. They’re so kind when I request our account be put on hold for 5 months due to no ants and spiders. They respond by email (on a Saturday night after 5pm) within 15 minutes of requesting someone come over and spray for grasshoppers. The spraying seems to last for 3-4 weeks, depending on how much rain we get. I’m very happy with Moxie & will continue to use their services.

The technician Chris was polite and fast,the only thing I would change so far about the service is that they schedule an appointment at least a day ahead because they called while I was getting kids ready for school and wanted to be there within 15 min. They were great! I am hesitant to use exterminators because we have small animals and live in the mountains near Park City where there is a lot of wildlife. However, we were battling a significant yellow jacket/hornet problem that negatively impacts any outdoor parties and we had a huge vole infestation after the snow melted away. Spiders don’t bother me as long as they aren’t black windows or brown recluse but my family feels otherwise. I voiced my concerns with the technician and I really liked his approach and expression of concern for my concerns. I have spoken to other companies in the past who just treated me like a crazy lady. The technician used rodent traps that are safe for my small animals and agreed to use organic spray on the ground and advised me to keep my animals away during drying time. (1 hour recommended so I waited 6). They have only come once so far so we’ll see how it goes but I was very impressed with the technician.
