Our service man is Alvin. He goes the extra mile to be sure we're informed what is going on and what we need to do to have it taken care of. When we wanted to add a service we didn't even need to call the office. He took care of it and within a few hours, the office called us. The office folks are prompt and professional. We have some things that need to be fixed on the exterior of our home (weather rot, general maintenance type things) that we were unaware of. Alvin took detailed photos and sent them to us. This was very helpful in knowing what to ask our contractor to fix. My husband asked me to note that when Alvin comes to perform the service, he always makes contact with us. Yesterday, he rang the doorbell to let us know he was here and what he was here to do. We have a camera doorbell and although we were in Corvallis, we were able to speak to him through the doorbell. Our previous pest company would come when we were gone and we never even knew he was there. A month later we'd just get a bill. We like knowing when someone is on our property performing a service especially when we're not home. He is always sure to ask if we have any problem areas or if we need anything in particular done. I think the snap traps work but that's a slow process. We may need to add additional boxes down the road. I don’t expect 100 % to get rid of the pest , especially in the area where I live , but I give Killers 99.9 %. Brian from The Killers treated the area around the hot tub to get rid of the ants and later returned to offer great tips about how we can keep the ants away from the spa. Since the week we moved in we have had problems with ants. I guess they are really prevalent in this part of the city. We contacted The Killers and they were able to come out to treat right away. Since then we have been loyal customers for the last almost six years. They are always very quick to respond. They do preemptive quarterly services, but if you need them between those you can just let them know and they’ll send someone out, usually within 24 hours.

He determined the problem, provided and an easy-to-understand solution and recommended a general contractor. I received a follow-up summary with photos five minutes after he left. Even though he's not part of The Killers rock band, he rocks when it comes to pest control!

5 Stars although did not complete service. Kendra was helpful on the phone, and got me an appointment within a few hours, with a call back to confirm. Randal (who's parents couldn't afford another "l" for his name..ha ha) did a very thorough inspection of my home. It was determined that the likely culprit is squirrels, entering through the roof. However, The Killers aren't allowed to catch them, deemed as "wildlife", nor can they go on a customer's roof. All for a no charge estimate. For future pest problems, I would call them again! I got busy with something ( for about 5 minutes) and turned around and he was gone.It is good to be fast BUT I hope and would rather have a good through gob. Highly recommend Killers Pest Control. They were available next-day when other firms were weeks out. Randal showed up on time and applied his years of experience immediately and thoughtfully. He inspected the perimeter that's kept us pest-free for 11 years, and pointed out two areas from his experience that could be improved. If we do experience any pest issue in the future, Killers will be our first call.

Killer Pest Control is an honest company. I scheduled with Randall, a technician with 27 year experience, to inspect and resolve the "mice and rottent" issue. With a glance of the droppings, Randall said they are bats's, sure enough we found two bats hanging in a gap behind the gutter. He then educated me about the government guidelines on bat protection and how to prevent them coming back. For all his trip and time, it's free of charge. Thank you Randall for resolving my headache issue. I am considering Killer Pest Control's Diamond pest control plan, they are quite competitive.

Come out on time and products seem to work. It kinda got confusing having different exterminators come out using each their own methods or poison. Didn’t seem like the company was unified. He shows up on time, thoroughly explains what he's going to do, makes sure we have no questions, does the job and then checks in with us before he leaves to go over again what he did and to make sure we have no additional questions or issues. Scott told us the best time to spray for control of the boxelder bugs so we will make sure to get that done, come the time. I had recently noticed signs of a carpenter ant presence in my home, so I called Killers because I had used them several years ago and was impressed. Scott was the technician who performed the inspection and extermination services on my house. He was professional and thorough, explaining in detail every step of the processes he was going to employ, and also provided an extensive amount of information about ant infestations and how Killers deals with them. He never rushed, asked several times if I had any questions or concerns, and always made me feel like he was personally invested in protecting my home from the damage that carpenter ants can inflict. To ensure that the steps he took on this initial visit were successful he even scheduled, unsolicited, a two-week followup visit to monitor the progress of the treatments he applied today. This is the kind of unprompted attention to excellent service that keeps customers coming back to Killers for protecting the investment we have in our homes. Update March 6 So, 3 days after Scott treated my house for carpenter ants, my floor is littered with ant carcasses....gross but very heartening to see the results of his treatment so soon. Another facet to Scott's customer service, which I suspect goes across all of Killers' work force, was the time he took to explain and prepare me for this result and to inform me of the way to handle the carcasses: don't get rid of them right away, leave them so existing and still active ants will come into contact with them and become infected. All of this reinforces my simple response when people ask about my experience around the carpenter ant infestation I had: "Got ants? Call Killers"

Chelsea explained how the treatment I used may have seemed helpful but was actually counterproductive. She was professional, knowledgable and patient and efficient. We've had problems with sugar ants every year for at least 5 years. The first 2 years we tried Terro bait, Ortho spray ant killer and diatomaceous earth. They would always come back. We were at first skeptical about signing up for a years contract with Killers. But after 3 years with them regularly treating, we have finally not had a major infestation inside the house. Also our silverfish population has significantly decreased as well. It is reassuring to be able to call them and have them come out (always within a week) whenever we have even just a couple ants in the house. We have used the quarterly service for two years now, and it has been so helpful. Our garage and bathroom cupboards were always full of mouse activity, and our cars needed expensive repairs due to mice! Killers has safely kept the pests under control, and will come for extra visits if the mice are back before we are due for a visit. It has also been great to know that our wasp/hornet/spider issues are under control as well. The company is polite, responsive and very effective...and they are big supporters of the Humane Society in Salem, which I appreciate very much--they are a socially responsible company, with wonderful people on their team.

I received one other inspection from a competitor, they quickly looked at basement and quickly wrote up a $1,800.00 quote to treat entire structure for termites. I felt railroaded. looked at "The Killers" website and it clearly pointed out that most likely I did not have a dampwood termite problem if I did not have wet wood. Called "the Killers Pest Control" and they sent out Randal to inspect the very next day. Randal was on time, thoroughly inspected entire site, and told me we do not have a termite problem. We live adjacent to a park and he pointed out that the termite problem is "out there" not in here. this was a swarm that got in the house due to the smoke in September and have since all died. The Killers Pest Control made no money out of this inspection but gained a lifetime customer and friend. My technician Randal is awesome and has killed my persistent major ant infestation I had been suffering from for years in just one treatment. I tried everything from your store bought liquid ant baits, dusts, and sprays, nothing worked for long but a few days. This is a Northwest Oregon company and knows how to obviously deal with our specific pest problems. I am under no delusion that they can’t come back, after all they live in your yard, but that’s why you pay for a year long service plan, a bargain in my opinion If you EVER had to deal with ants in your house ruining your life. The price is well worth it to me in spades. There is NO other company I would recommend but The Killers Pest Control, PERIOD! Other companies just don’t have the same treatments required to kill the problem effectively here in the Pacific Northwest.

The guy from The Killers came out to look at a Silverfish "infestation" that we thought we had. He took one look and told us it was actually a common bug that comes out of Christmas Trees.... Yeah, they showed up right after we took it down. I felt pretty dumb but he didn't charge us a dime. Since he was there he suited up and inspected the crawl space and attic. He found mice droppings and plenty of spiders. We hired them to take care of it and sure enough we haven't had a problem since. Caught several mice in their traps which they took care of for us. I've been very happy with the service The Killers has provided. I hired them because a rat had made it's way into my laundry room. I couldn't see where it was coming in. It turned out it had come in through a screened vent on the opposite side of the house. A previous cable or dish company had put a hole in the vent for their cable to be run into the bedroom. (hint: don't allow cables to go through your house vents). The rat had created an even bigger hole, got into the crawl space and found a very small hole where the water pipe for my heating system came into the laundry room. The vent was secured and the hole in the laundry room closed up. Later another hole was discovered in the same vent so when I called The Killers, a technician was sent out asap and closed it up again. In fact every time I've called them for both spiders and rats, a technician was sent out quickly. They've given me piece of mind. For me it was worth the cost of their annual service.

This means a lot, because a lot of folks don't take the time to interact on a human level, and this made all the difference. If needed, I'll consider renewing the contract at the end of the year. I bought a house that was under contact with this outfit and unbeknownst to me, Aaron came into the house WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION and left the gate open. Because I didn't know this, my dogs got loose and I spent much of moving day chasing down my pups. Can't recommend a company that wouldn't obtain permission from a new owner and then be so careless as to leave a gate open enough as to allow someone's beloved pets to get out. My dogs are all safe and accounted for but because of this I will not be renewing the contract.

Last night we found a bug on our pet that appeared to be a flea. After inspecting it, we were concerned that it might be a bed bug because we had just gotten a shipment of furniture to the house. After a sleepless night of googling bed bugs... we found killers pest control. They offered to come out and look at the bug (that we saved in a plastic bag) and tell us if it was a bed bug. A man named David drove out 6 hours later and met me on the driveway (so that he didn’t have to enter our house during COVID unless necessary) to see the bug. He took out a magnifying glass, inspected it and found that it wasn’t a bed bug. The whole thing was free of cost and both he and the receptionist who answered the phone were SO nice. If I ever do have a bug problem I will call them.

If you wanna get rid of ants, Killers are effective. Although I have no other company to compare them with I will say that since July (now Nov. 2018), I have yet to see one ant in my house and I live with animals, open doors sometimes, and no basement. Killers did such a good job, so effective, that my next door neighbor reports no ants as well.. I think I’ll charge him next time! No negative side effects regarding my dogs, plants, etc. I had tried store bought remedies but nothing worked. The only reason for not 5 stars is not about service, just a quirky personal thing😌

Ants and spiders. A lot of them. Enough so that every move we made in the house was prefaced with checking that there weren't any of the little (and not so little) beasts occupying the area first. The big fast spiders, especially the ones that liked our bed sheets, were the worst. We hired the Killers, who promptly came out, saw the problem, and got to work. They were friendly, fast, and highly effective. The ants and the eight legged fiends are gone. Very happy with this service!
