Yes indeed Dave Nevill came out to my house to do an inspection and was incredibly informed about his profession. Very much appreciated his knowledge and feedback. Not only was he a complete professional gentleman, even the fact that my toddler whom is a huge attention hound did not bother him at all, infact I think she was crushing on him in the end. But she was under our feet the whole time and Dave did not miss a beat and was still able to communicate to me what was needed to combat the issue i was having as far as wildlife from outside of the home trying to get in without harming or endangering the wildlife inside ....the cats, chickens, guests,my kiddo, brother and other animals that i tend to on a daily basis. Lol
The chickens are actually outside but I claim them as family members.

Huge shout out to Sydney from Saela Pest Control. She is very meticulous and detail oriented, she was the first to discover a small hole in our new home through which rodents were invading our home, ironically the other inspectors that came to our home did not have any clue where the rodents were coming from.

I can't say nicer things about my experiences with Saela. They have been my quarterly pest control for 5 years now and they keep my home clean!! They come out to do re-services within 24-hours when we see spiders or ants in places they aren't welcome. The service providers are SO NICE, careful, considerate, and thorough.

Their service is fine and everyone is polite. My issue is with having a service contract. No one ever calls to tell you it's ending or ended. You only find out when you get the bill and it's more money. Even if you call to re up, they won't apply it to the service you just had 10 min earlier. Seems like a bad business practice to not want to keep people signed up, rather than quitting when the bill jumps and they had no idea. Even Comcast will retro the discount so it's possible. 5 stars for the actual product but 2 stars for their contract setup.

Since they merged we aren't too happy they show up with out sending emails reminding us that we have service coming up . They also raised their prices without our knowledge one visit they just showed up at the door we got no reminders of service.
We also don't like them trying to get us to pay more money one guy tried to use scare tatics to pressure us into buying a certain package. We have been customers for over 12 years I think long term customers deserve a break.

The person servicing my mother's home was extremely thorough and attentive. We've had an ant issue indoors, but she also sprayed for other common yard bugs and even knocked down a wasp nest. I think this is going to be a very good thing! Plus, we got a discount and the service seems quite reasonable.

I have been using Edge for nearly a year now. I'm never home when they stop by so I haven't experience any indoor treatments yet. However, I am very happy with their service. I have free range chickens and they treat according to their care. Occasionally I get an employee that leaves me wonderfully joyful messages about their arrival too. So far, I'm not disappointed.

The same for ants. Had service today, bait was laid, and I received a very friendly explanation of what to do for the next two weeks.
Their ant removal is the most successful of any pest service I've dealt with in the past. Had ants in the kitchen over a year ago and haven't seen any until a couple of days ago. They showed up quickly and I expect to not see any for at least another year. Other services I used would have to treat the kitchen every few months.
They came out for a rat inspection, just in case. Found nothing. Very friendly and professional, as always.

I have been using Edge Pest Control for nearly a year now. We contacted Edge as we were seeing small house spiders and Ants in our new home. From the first treatment we now rarely see a spider in the house and never seen ants in the house anymore. The representative that arrives to provide the treatment are always courteous and on time. They remind us that if we have any issues we can call for a retreatment. I would recommend this service and have given Edge 5 stars.

I will say the service people who have come out are very nice and have been good about returning for services when some ants show up. At one point they kept sending the same person which felt nice to have a familiar technician who knew trouble spots.
Where I have a huge problem with this company is their sales tactics...they say you are signing up for a year of service, but when it all calculates out you're stuck with them for about 18 months. This partially is on me for not calculating it out, but it should be much more clear what your start and end dates will be - as that doesn't seem to be called out in the contract or on the customer portal.
Guy on the phone was super unhelpful when asking what could be done the other day. He simply said "sorry, nothing I can do about your early termination fees".
Update: they have been fantastic as usual with service, I did call to set up some flea service and their contracts again were vague so I had to have them speak with legal to clarify. Otherwise a great service, but they need to make their contracts more straightforward and customer friendly.

Update on 2022.08. Continuing to use this service and appreciate how the Saela team is consistently working to help resolve a wasp nest issue that is under our deck and nearly impossible to remove due to the angle. Sydney did a great job locating the nest and spraying all around it. She indicated to contact if there is still an issue after 2 weeks and they will come back out and look for other ways to resolve the problem.
So far so good! Just had our place sprayed close to a week ago and haven't seen any evidence of more annoying ants or other creepy crawlies. Appreciated the service and friendly attitude of both representatives I worked with.

I had an initial visit and one of the services was not completed during the first visit. I called them back few days after and talked to the customer service department. They were more concern about the issue than I was and sent someone out the next day to complete the work at no cost. I know that sounds pretty usual for companies to do that but during the Covid price spike every company I worked with tries to push it out or not complete the work.

They had some friendly people who were able to come out and offer some free treatment to attempt to see if they could fix the problem. We received two free reservices, with the promise for more. They will certainly go the extra mile *if you call them* and let them know you're having issues.

Wonderful company. Great customer service, very polite employees. We have a contract with them and they keep track of the schedule and never miss a scheduled date. If we notice any little creatures after they have sprayed, an employee is out the next day to spray again at no added charge. ThIs business is awesome! We had a yellow jackets nest at the bottom of our redwood tree in the ground. We found out the hard way that ,y husband is highly allergic! Edge Pest Control sent Joe out the same day we called. Joe was so professional, hard working, understanding and he worked extra hard to not only get the yellow jackets under control but got the hive dug out of the ground and removed! Sales rep was in area and dropped by. He showed us where he found ant activity (we've been seeing it, too). The services he described seem to be what we need. He was efficient and knowledgeable. We signed up for a 1 year deal with an option for 2 years. The company has a modern, paperless process, so we had a copy of the agreement emailed to us right away. When the company's sprayer rep arrived the same evening, we did another walk around while he described what he would do, and we were shown a brief, informative video of the process for service and application. He applied the product inside and out. Took about an hour. Both representatives were cordial, respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. We felt comfortable with them moving around our home, which is a big deal for this reviewer. If we get the relief and continued service promised, we definitely will refer the company and product on to our friends, neighbors and family, and of course exercise the option to renew.

This is our second time to have a mole. Edge handled it efficiently last year, but a new mole moved in after a neighbor started doing yard work. Today’s technician was the best; he actually dug into the mounds to see where the tunnels were going, he built up a bridge into the biggest one, and reset the trap. I don’t know if this works, but he’s been the most “hands on” tech we’ve had during this process.

I am not sure why they are getting such a bad wrap? Yes they came door-to-door even when I had a no-soliciting sign up. I usually NEVER entertain door-to-door sales but I thought I'd give it a shot. The guy was very nice and liked guitars. After my 1st treatment all our ants and even spiders decreased significantly and by about a month before our second treatment they were almost gone. I have been with them for over a year and we have had zero bug problems. I can tell when it wears off because about 2+weeks before they come out I get a few here and there. But all i have had to do is call and they send someone out and spray no charge. It is a little pricey at about $100 every 3-4 months but I find it completely worth it for the peace of mind. My dogs aren't dead yet so I guess it is pet friendly as they say. And even during the rainy seasons when I thought for sure it would be washed away it remained in tact and we did not have bug problems. I refer them to everyone I know.

Edge was able to squeeze us in for a same day appoint when I we would be stuck waiting weeks, high pest time of year. The technician came and placed mole traps and interesting rat food training devices in the pouring rain. He was very knowledgeable on both mole and rat behavior that gave me trust in their process. He also made sure there were no signs of roof rats or rats in our crawl space. I feel confident that will have a good update soon.

He explained what they would be doing during the appointment. He also pointed out areas of the house that could be a potential rodent issue so were aware. Great service for the money you pay: efficient products that keep ants/spiders/etc. at bay, great customer service over the phone and in person, willingness to come over for a free-of-charge additional treatment when asked. They always call before and after treatment, ask if we have any concerns or additional instructions. Very organized, always on schedule and on time. Worse company ever. Told by the first technician that the rat program we bought would have them come out every two days until there was no sign. He put traps out without setting them and we had to call to get someone out after a week.! Next technician came out set the traps and put bate boxes around our yard which concerned us cause we already had a dead rat in the wall a couple months back. They told us they don’t use the same bare that you buy at the store and they will go into the yard to die. Not true. Had to tear a wall out to get a dead rat. Not sure how many more. And in the 4 weeks we’ve had the service. We’ve been charged $249 for the rat program. $119 for a quarterly service $99.00 cause apparently our rat program visits ran out and and we had to extend service. And oh yeah. Another $119 for a quarterly service after a month of service. And when we ask to cancel. We were told we would have to pay 50% of the remaining contract but we couldn’t find out how much that was. Oh and after one month of service at least one dead rat in our wall and one rat caught in a trap. I think Edge are the rats! I even received an after service pamphlet stating to leave the problem up to the professionals. These guys are not professionals!

Edge pest control is good and it had been a great experience with them. I strongly recommend this service.
However, their lawn care service is horrible especially keeping the cost in mind. They promise at the beginning of the service that all the bare patches on the lawn will be taken care of and fixed even if additional visits are needed. However, in reality that's not true. When I asked the agent what services would you provide to fix the patches, he pretty much told me that its on me to fix it and they are not responsible. In addition he said what is promised at the beginning may not be entirely true.

Prior posting: The sales agent, Jake, was Superior in every regard. He wore a face mask at all times. He knew his product inside and out. He had excellent social skills.
The two young men who applied the chemical however we're a different story. they did not wear face masks when they exited the truck and approached me. I have a compromised immune system and if they are a carrier they could very well have put my life in jeopardy. Please ensure that they wear face masks at all times when dealing with the public cuz you never know when somebody is immune-compromised.
The two young men were very good-natured and excellent in every way except with regard to the use of a face mask. They seem to consider it as an option instead of a requirement for the safety of themselves and the general public.
I would gladly have given 5 Stars if it were not for the unfortunate lack a face masks on the two gentlemen who sprayed the house.

This was the second time edge has come out to service our house. This time around we were very pleased. The first time they left webs and spider egg sacks, we weren’t sure if they did anything. I wrote a bad review but edge was quick to respond and try to remedy the situation. I was very upset and knew they would be out in about a month any how so I didn’t respond back. The guy that came out the second time was very nice and assured us that it would all be cleaned up. He did a great job. Now hopefully there won’t be anymore webs or egg sacks since their products should keep them away. Overall pleased this time around.

Deceiving contracting practices. Was told specifically that there were no early termination fees and ... surprise surprise ... not only they are extremely expensive for the same service other companies provide for a lot cheaper, they do have early termination fees.
Look elsewhere and save yourself money and headache.

I have to revise my original review. All applies still but they called and really tried to remedy the situation. They offered to cancel the contract with no repercussions. I decided to stay with them because they really tried hard to remedy the situation.

I called and left message re situation and never received a call back so I called next day. Not a huge deal, but our yard is being destroyed by a mole and wanted it taken care of sooner than later.

I have been an Edge subscriber from past 8 months or so for my house and unfortunately I have to cancel the service because I am moving out of the house and hence no longer needed. But I have been extremely satisfied with whole service cancellation process and they even didn't charge me a single penny even though I have subscribed for 9 services and used only like 4.
I have had a hard time reaching out to customer case in the beginning but after that I got a call from the agent herself and she helped me through the process.

We started with Edge when we saw rats in our yard. Turns out we had one living under our house. Edge came and checked every opening under the house. We identified one area of access and a plan for remedy. They set traps in our crawl space and pet safe bait boxes outside. The trap worked in one week and bait boxes showed some use. They also treated perimeter of house for spiders, ants, etc. A few weeks later we discovered a Yellowjackets nest in shrubs. They were right on it. We are very pleased with Edge service.

I actually heard about them from a rep that was going door to door. He wasn't pushy, but he was very informative. I had actually already been thinking about calling someone out to clean up all the spider webs and egg sacks that sprouted up around our house and spray something to keep the bugs away, so it was perfect timing. Another person came out later that evening to do the work and even called beforehand to say he was on his way and he gave me his ETA. I have really enjoyed my interaction with Edge. The salesmen were always friendly and respectful. The guys who sprayed my house were right on time and I could tell they did a thorough job. There was one hornet that was a bit stubborn but when I saw it build a new nest after they took down the first one, they came right back out and took care of it. All in all an excellent service.

Had a salesman stop me in my driveway a few days ago. He was very polite. I let him look around the house and he pointed out three hornet's nests that I was unaware of. I have also been having an ant problem in the garage.
It's a sales pitch, so you need to wade through the BS and know what questions to ask. Of course ask if there is a contract, what the cancellation policy is, and what the auto-renew policy is. I also had him show me all the product he was using.
They removed all the cobwebs and hornet's nests around the house, treated the lawn, sprayed the eves and foundation, and put out bate for the ants. They come back after four weeks (for a charge) and then once a quarter (for a charge). But they'll come back in between at no additional charge if you start having problems.
Overall I'm very satisfied with the service and experience. I knew what I was getting in to though because I asked the right questions.

I thought everything went well but during the next week we still had a lot of spiders and when called back they sent someone right over. This guy was like every pests worst nightmare. Chris came right on time (possibly a couple of minutes early) and thoroughly explained exactly what would be involved in vanquishing our ubiquitous sugar ants. He exhibited excellent customer service skills and went about his job in a completely professional manner.
About the company - They appear to be expensive. As our problem with the ants was so overwhelming (and my wife in an ant frenzy,) we weren't in position to compare them to other companies, so I'll temper this evaluation with that caveat. But the initial contract we were presented with required an involvement of 2 years of quarterly visits from Edge. Since we plan on moving in a year, they reduced the contract to one year but raised prices on visits. Cancellation is half of remaining services (Ouch!) This may be standard policy for all extermination services, I don't know, but it seems to be worth knowing for those seeking pest control.

Edge is a great company I was a little leery because they used door to door selling, but they have since proven to be a very reliable service and the few times I've had to have them come out outside of scheduled quarterly visits they've been very quick and took care of any problems I have had come up. They already have oodles of five star reviews but all pylon and say I wouldn't hesitate to send other people their way.
Their pricing it's a bit high in my opinion but I'm so very happy with the service that it's okay to pay a little more than I did previously with another company. Good to see a company that actually cares about customer service and genuinely tries to go above and beyond the call of duty.

We have been using Edge Pest Control for about a year now and I have been very pleased with their service. When dealing with insects there is no magic wand to keep them gone forever, but I have noticed a substantial improvement with the ants, spiders and wasps around our house. We pay quarterly and they come out and do a service around the house and the fence and inside if we want. The thing I like best is that if anything comes up between quarterly services they come out and take care of it right away. All the technicians that have been out have been very professional and I appreciate that they always call before hand to let me know they are on their way. Both staff we dealt with on our first time experience with Edge Pest Control were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and I didn't feel like they were trying to "nickel and dime" us with extensive offers. They came to us for business, due to they were servicing several of our neighbors. The deal we decided upon was amazing for our huge house and property! We got our inside and outside areas done in a good amount of time for how large it is, and they got rid of over 30 wasp/hornet nests around our house! I am allergic to wasps/hornets, so this has now allowed me to go outside more freely and enjoy our yard without worrying about getting stung. Plus i like the guarantee if you notice rodents, wasps/hornets, spiders, etc., after you have been serviced for that quarter, they will come out and take care of any additional issues for FREE in that quarter! We are first time customers and our first experience was EXCEPTIONAL! Thank you very much for knocking on our door and offering something we didn't even realize how much we needed!

Sales came by and were very helpful and informative on the pest control. First application, team were two very young guys who were friendly and professionals. Hard to find in their age group. I kept working and would glance over while they did the job and were done fairly quickly. I believe they did a thorough job but could not tell what they actually did when finished. They did go over it briefly, saying that they sprayed the base of house and 4ft away from it and also the eves, removing hornets nest for which I know we did not have any (I check weekly). I brushed that off, figuring that was just scripted words he was trained to say. Never saw them treat lawn either. One guy held the spreader but i never saw him use it. Maybe he was quick to do it? Time will tell if they deliver on what is promised and paid for. Kind of skeptic based on this experience, but again I did not watch dog over them either. I like the concept of what's been sold to me by this company, but will watch closely to see if they actually deliver on it. Overall a good experience. Fingers crossed.
Update 2017: May service done. Since becoming an Edge Customer we have been happy with the pest control overall. I feel we have gotten our money's worth to date. So I learned today that Edge does not treat the lawn the same way anymore. The tech did not know the technical reasoning for this change. They treat the edges of the lawn and that's it. Also in retrospect, I noticed the tech was not spraying 4 feet around everything as advertised, maybe 2 feet. I did not realize this until he was gone and was thinking about the servicing afterwards. I am not really sure why we have not been informed about the change and why the servicing is less than promised. Maybe area Manager can shed some light on this? I am concerned that the quality of service/product that I received early on has been consistently getting less. Yet I pay the same amount of money. I still believe in the Edge treatment system but not sure they are delivering on contracted agreement. Time will tell really soon if the recent service is up to promised level.

We live along a creek and were experiencing problems with an overactive mole, who had individually made abbout 20 mole hills in our backyard lawn. My spouse's comments were the critter was ruining our lawn.
It took a couple of weeks to catch the crafty little critter, but they did, after others had failed.
The following week on a follow-up visit to check if it was only a single mole. With an average of 2-3 moles/acre, and the backyard being a 1/4 acre, the odds were high. The service representative arrived while we were sitting out in & enjoying the backyard. We had a nice conversation in which he further educated us about moles.
Yesterday, another mole made the scene. Since were on a 2-year contract, this should work with a simple phone call & based on this past experience, I'm expecting similar results & to be able to post a similar report.

These folks use deceptive business practices to get folks to sign contracts for services they haven't requested, all in order to get a "guarantee" for those services they do need. Then when you cancel they demand a 50% cancellation fee (for services never performed). Their reasoning: "we have to purchase chemicals in advance." Utter nonsense. Strongly urge you avoid doing business with this company.
UPDATE: It appears Edge does care a great deal about these reviews. After leaving this they contacted me to see if there was anything they could do to address my concerns above (which I do have to say I appreciated). After discussing it with a very nice woman named Meghan (who doesn't work in the "customer service" department, and it showed), we agreed that I would waive the guarantee, pay the difference between the discounted services (with a contract) and regular price (no contract, no guarantee), and post this update to my original review. I still maintain that Edge's "bundling" of services is not transparent or in their customers' best interests, but I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. Just be sure to read the fine print.

We found bed bugs in our bed this past Sunday. I went and bought everything google had come up with. I mean bed proctors (4 to be exact... 2 for the box spring and 2 for the mattress,) tea tree oil, lavender oil, borax, bed bug repellent/killer ,the works. I have bagged everything and am still washing everything i own in hot water and drying on the hottest setting. I checked all outlets in my house, baseboards, everything was being checked. Yet I still felt uneasy and found a few around the bed room. (Which immediately were killed). I decided to call around. I worked with Brennan. He was beyond reassuring when I called. He told me I was doing everything right, but should still have an inspection and spray done. I agreed and 3 hours later Carl was at my house spraying and inspecting. They are professional, kind, and dont charge an arm and a leg for their services. Only time will tell if the treatment will work. But so far a solid 10/10 with them!!

I am so pleased with Edge. I was recently with a different pest control company for about four months and wasn’t impressed with their performance. They were never prepared to treat my problem (forgetting something, not having enough of what they needed) and after seeing how Edge treated/sprayed vs how my old company sprayed I’m in complete shock! My old company used a spray can in a couple places in just a couple closets and threw in some sticky traps. I saw no change at all. That’s when I decided to switch to Edge. Edge came that same day and sprayed around all of my baseboards in my entire house! As well as going outside and brushing down all of my cobwebs, wasps nests and spraying my yard and house. When I opened the door, I had to be the one moving away from him. I was wearing a mask myself. In my house two members are in the high risk group for Covid-19. Edge´s web page talks a lot what they are doing for the pandemic ...and then this. He was all over my house perimeter and front and pack patios without a mask. Not safe. We are never going to flat the curve this way.

I hired Edge to help me with gopher control. I had no luck trapping them myself, and did not want to take the time to set up and shoot them. Trapping moles and gophers is as much art as it is science, and to be good at it you need to do it a lot. Edge came out and set 3 traps and the guy who came out seemed to know what he was doing. The next week the traps were empty, and a different guy came out and clearly had very little experience with gophers, and reset the traps in the same, inactive tunnels. I called and asked for them to be reset asap, and Edge came back the next day and reset them. While he was here we actually saw a juvenile gopher on top of the ground and crawling toward it's hole. It escaped, but the edge guy caught it in his trap later. The bottom line was in 3 weeks I ended up shooting 4 adults and they caught a juvenile.
It may be that given enough time they might have caught the adults, but I couldn't wait that long, or afford the monthly service charge. I'm giving them 4 stars because the company is well organized, professional, and all of the employees are polite and customer service oriented.

We had ants coming out of an outlet in our new home so before move-in they came and sprayed around the outlet twice (once with outlet cover on and then once again without outlet cover on which did the trick). They've been out again for the 30 day checkup and did more, removed some spider eggs, put more bait in the boxes, etc. It all seems great - no more ants and haven't seen bugs in the house. Yay!

The initial contact by phone sounded promising. They said holes would be filled in with a mesh that rats could not get through and traps sould be set. At the point of contact representative only wanted to place 3 traps. When asked about the holes and mesh he said he did not have any mesh left. He said he filled in holes but there are many visible. The first night we only saw 1 rat last night after the visit we saw at least 20. So far not happy with service at all.

All the technicians that came to our home were very professional. (Two separate visits) They all wore foot covers. Called me ahead to let me know when they were arriving. They were also fast. Because we are monitoring squirrel activity in the attic there'll be probably one or two more visits.

I have been using Edge for 2 years now. They have always been courteous to me when they come out. I recently downsized from a 1500 SF home to a 575 SF apartment and Edge will still come out to treat my apartment. I have noticed quite a few spiders in my place befre the treatment, so we will see if they disappear now that I have had my first one here.
I love that the products are pet safe! I have 3 dogs, and I do not want them harmed in any way, and they have not in the 2 years I have been getting treatments.
Colton did the best job he could working around my boxes and things still yet to be unpacked. He wore booties on the inside of the home and did a thorough job of spraying all the outside cracks and crevices on my deck and huge front porch area. I actually saw a few bugs and things last night scrambling away from the crevices to find new homes in someone else's apartment.

To start the company it self seems reliable and prices are decent if you are the first on your block to get them.
Beware of their sales men that walk around new neighborhoods and talk them into the 2 year contract saying that your neighbor's all got the service and we will give you a discount if you sign the same day as them. They talked to one neighbor and they were quoted almost $50 less then us. They will lie straight to your face. And they quoted everyone different prices by the time they were done with our neighborhood. All of the homes are similar maybe vareying by only 200sq ft! I would personally no go through their sales men. Go through them directly. One of our neighbor's even faught and got out of 1 of the years in their contract since they lied about other's pricing.

They got rid of the pests, but we're not exactly happy with the 2 year contract. Also, be careful about accepting their next schedule "quarterly" service. We aren't even 1 year into our contract and they have our 5th quarterly service scheduled 40 days before our 1 year anniversary with their first quarterly service.
I looked through my records and every single "quarterly" service is scheduled 1-2 weeks in advance. Also, they sell you on the free mid quarter follow ups if pests should appear, but when you try to schedule one they'll ask if they could just move up the quarterly service if it is just a couple weeks away. Well, do the math on that, if they are already shorting you 1-2 weeks, and you schedule a mid service follow up after 2 months and they ask you if they could do their next quarterly service instead you are now losing 1 month, and the next "quarterly" service will be scheduled 1-2 weeks shy of 3 months from the date of the last service.
I just called them up to get a mid quarter service and was very surprised to be told that our next "quarterly" service is just one week out, at least 8 days shy of an actual quarter from the last one which we had originally requested as a mid quarter, but obliged them with accepting it as a quarterly service.

They came back for a re-spray as I thought the spiders would be eradicated after the first visit.
It was then explained on my 2nd visit that the existing spiders will actually release more webbing once sprayed as a defense mechanism.
