Clinton was great.communicative, thorough, and friendly. Great experience. As an amendment to my review, dealing with them has suffered since they were bought out. They will show up when I'm not there and not come in the house after I've told them I need them to. All they want to do is spray around the outside of your house and bail. They promised to come back and never did. Am exploring other options. Seems to be what happens when company's are bought by a chain. Just getting someone on the phone takes 15- 20 minutes. Never had these problems when it was still pioneer. Bummer

Very happy with this company. They were recommended by a friend when i found out that we had an outdoor rat problem (and detached garage). They came out the next day or two and sent a tech named Justin who set up bait and traps. He also was very helpful in educating me on where they were traveling and the steps we can take to help with the problem. Some stuff seems obvious but I really did not know much about outdoor rats and the habitats they like. As of now the problem appears to be gone but we will continue for a little while longer for peace of mind.

Super dissatisfied. In late October of 2021, after dealing with sporadic amounts of ants in weird places, my husband and I decided to deal with it once and for all. Having old family friend ties to this business (Crossroads Church), we decided to use Pioneer Pest control (PurCor). We were promised a thorough sweep, but the tech didn’t ask any questions and it was a quick walk through. They completely avoided the actual hot spot we were specifically worried about (our attic). For $250 you’d think we might see the end of this issue. We were told to call back for a discount ($90) if they needed to spray again, but we skipped the deadline after not seeing any. Well, tonight (1/2/22) we found 3 in our upstairs bedroom. We thought this issue had been taken care of. Extremely dissatisfied.

When I scheduled the appointment, I understood that they would call when the date got closer to pinpoint the time. They didn't, so perhaps I misunderstood. On the day of the appointment, the inspector showed up before 8:00 AM, which was not expected. The inspector was courteous and helpful. However, after he left, he came back to tell me to check my text messages for a message with a link. He said he would talk me through it. I assumed it was the inspection report. I had trouble getting the link to work and signing in to Google. I was in a hurry to prepare for another appointment, but I did want to receive his report. It turned out that the link was for this Google review. I would rather have been invited rather than pushed to leave a review, and I would have preferred that he told me that's what he was sending me. UPDATE: A PURCOR team member contacted me to follow up on this. I appreciate that they truly value feedback, and I'm confident that they are taking it to heart.

Clint was fantastic, very friendly and answered all my questions! We really enjoy Pioneers services, we have been using them for around 1.5 years now. They are affordable up front and continue to have good rates for our quarterly checks. We haven't had any pest issues since the second or third visit but have continued service with Pioneer for peace of mind. We live in an area that is a mix of individual residences and different types of businesses so unfortunately we tend to deal with unwanted pests that generally wouldn't be around. Thank you Pioneer!

Pioneer has been nothing short of fantastic. They have fast, friendly service, easy service options to choose from and quality service. We started working with them when we had critters in our crawlspace which they were able to remove through some inexpensive tactics. We continued working with them quarterly to take care of ants and spiders. Clinton, one of their techs is always friendly, super helpful and is a pleasure to chat with. This is a service homeowners don't want to have to think about so they show up every three months and take care of business. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs pest control services.

I've been in property management for nine years and have been lucky to find a great pest control company. I've had the best experience with Justin Walruth for almost five years. He was originally with Halt Pest Control until they merged with Purcor. Justin has gone above and beyond ALL my expectations. He provides the best customer service to my residents, as well as my team and I. Throughout the years I have brought him over to a total of three properties, and he provides the same service to each community. You will not regret working with Purcor! Do yourself a favor and ask for Justin because his professionalism and service is the best out of their team by far!

Today we had Clinton come by and treat a part of our school for carpenter ants. He was on time, kind, informative about our pest and what to do after he treated the area. We started finding big carpenter ants inside our home. We called Pioneer based on their current 5-star rating on Yelp and are giving them a 5-star rating now! Scheduling with the office was easy and quick. We got an appointment in less than a week. The technician that came out, Mike L, was awesome! He was on time, very knowledgeable and personable. He did a walk through inside and out with me, and I felt very comfortable having him in and around my home to do the treatment. My dog was even relaxed around him. I'm glad their treatment chemicals are so safe for humans and animals. Mike was great in answering all my questions about the safety of the treatment before starting. He found some of their trails outside and helped me know what to look for in the future. He provided a sheet on what to expect after treatment and the emailed receipt is very clear and detailed. Thanks to Mike, we're quarterly Pioneer customers now!

The only reason I didn’t give Pioneer five stars is because the treatment was just applied today and I will not see the results for awhile. But on all other fronts their service has been outstanding. I got to talk to a real person rather than being routed to a central dispatch outside of the area. The tech was on time and very knowledgeable. He went right to work and fully explained the process. We are very happy to be partnering with Pioneer Pest Management for monitoring ants and other pests around our home. Our first visit in the fall was with Clint, who was extremely outgoing and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. Our second service more recently was with Tyler, who was also great to work with. He took the extra time to hop on a ladder and check out our external vent filters to ensure that we didn't have birds getting into our attic when I mentioned it might be a concern. We called Pioneer Pest Management and I had great experience just making my appointment. They're very informative and know what they're doing. A couple days later we had someone come out to our apartment because we've had swarms of ants all over our apartment. (They have been worse than last year.) So we finally decided store bought traps weren't enough to get rid of them. The employee they sent was friendly and explained everything he was doing. He discussed pricing with us and did great job. I haven't seen a single ant since they sprayed and put traps out. They said its takes about 20 days for the ants to take it back to their nest. So far I've seen no ants. Their service also comes with warranty. I'm so impressed. Thank you.

EDIT: I was reached out to by Jennifer and Eric. They sent a very nice technician (Tim) out to my home to inspect my wasp problem and take care of the issue. For that I am changing my review to 5 stars for the amazing customer service. Had pioneer pest come out and spray my house for wasps that were getting inside the wall of my home from the outside. While my initial appointment was great, the wasps came back full force. I called to have someone come back out and re-spray as I was told they would do it for free within a 45 day window. I called and was told they didn’t have availability for two weeks out, so I took what I could and waited. Well come today I get a phone call (1 hour before my appointment time) that no one is out in the field today due to air quality (which I totally understand) so they needed to reschedule. Only availability is for 9 days from now. You’ve got to be kidding me. So I schedule the appointment and then call back because I’m frustrated. Wasps are getting into my house again. I was told I will be put on a list so if anything opens up sooner they’ll let me know. 1 star because my first appointment was great.

I asked him every dumb question in the book about pests and what he’ll be using on them and about my house’s access points and everything. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me and my pest case. I feel good having someone work on my house who is well versed in what they do and what they’re using. (2018) They were able to get to me the next business day (called Saturday afternoon, came out Monday late morning). Don was professional and explained the 2 part process that he would be doing before he started, as well as after. Explained how long it would take to show results and how the 45-day warranty worked. The woman who called back and took my appointment was polite and helpful, and the price was reasonable. Today (8/18/2020) is the 2nd time I’ve used Pioneer for another ground yellow jacket nest. Clinton was punctual and super friendly. He explained what he did and how long to wait before checking for activity, and how to cover the nest after that. He also made sure I knew about the 45 day warranty.

Clinton came out right on time. He was very professional and did a thorough inspection of our house inside and out. He made recommendations on what would be best for our property and did not try to upsale me on services I did not need. He treated the interior of the house and provided me with several glue traps to place in discrete areas if I so desired. He took care of some rather large wasp nests under the eaves and treated the exterior of the home. We have three very curious dogs and he was very friendly and respectful of them. They do a good job and are consistent. It is helpful to have a service like this when you live out in the country to prevent vermin from infiltrating your home. Some of the technician are more knowledgeable than others, but they seem to keep only the good ones on staff long term. The only thing that prevents me from giving them five stars is that they are still a bit pricey even when you are signed up for routine service. Keep in mind that I did not price shop, so their fees could be on the low side for all I know.

I tried sprays and baits from the store, but never had as much success as with Pioneer. I found a scavenger occasionally, but otherwise no ants for more than a month. When trails appeared on the outside, Pioneer returned as they said. Both times they've been great. Im learning that to get the most of their service you need to make sure treated areas are accessible, so you may need to move items away from walls.

My first call to Pioneer was on a Saturday Morning after spending the previous night with a critter under the house in our crawlspace. I was frantic! Jenessa was on duty that day and well...bless her heart! She was awesome! Since this was a specialized job with a trapped critter and the one person they had on staff to do this kind of work, the soonest appointment was Tuesday of the following week. I almost started crying! We just couldn't wait that long. I pushed a bit more and she worked the schedule to get "Daniel" out Monday.....two days away. Okay....deep breath....she acknowledged my stress, was empathetic and sympathetic. We hung up and I started praying that we would find a quicker solution....DESPERATION! Long story short, we discovered we had a rabbit below. We trapped it through an opening in our garage with lettuce and carrots. It was released into a nearby park and we had a quiet night...! Daniel came Monday and there was no damage from the rabbit. He repaired the opening on the side of the house and the one in the garage. Yea.....all is good again! Great Service! Professional, well educated about pests. I thought I might have a termite problem and was very worried. Also maybe carpenter ants. The man explained that this kind of termite damage was caused by termites who like wet, decaying wood. They had only damaged the posts which were exposed to rain all year long and did not damage the other wood. The other bugs I was worried about lie dormant in wood that is not kiln dried and hatch out from time to time. I had noticed three or four tiny spots of sawdust a few years ago and then nothing more until now and only four again. I happily paid for the inspection and was not sold any treatments that were not necessary! I will call them again if I have any future pest issues! And they use environmentally safe products as well! Very satisfied!

Everyone at Pioneer Pest is so nice and helpful. I had raccoons under my house and they immediately calmed me and said they would help. Pioneer Pest Management provided knowledgeable people to diagnose the problem of critters under my house (probably raccoons) and used appropriate methods make sure they left the space. We did not actually have to trap any animals, but they were prepared to do so if necessary. After Pioneer Pest prevented further entry, I received a complete evaluation of repairs needed to return my crawl space to better than new condition. All repairs were completed in a reasonable period of time at the originally estimated cost. They were able to complete all of the repairs needed and provided stronger screens in the vent spaces to prevent any further animal entry. All of the workers were professional, courteous and arrived at the scheduled time. Pioneer Pest Management gets my full recommendation.

We have been using Pioneer pest for about 4 years. It all started after we had some trees take out along the house. The tree service noted that there were a lot on ants on one of the trees. I didn't think too much about it until the next morning when I went into the garage and found two walls covered with ants. Not knowing what to do I grabbed the shop vac and and started vacuuming up the ants. I got most of them and in the end we had about 2 1/2 gallons of ants. We had a very bad infestation of Box Elder Bugs on and in our house and a farm building that started in late summer of 2017. They went dormant for a while over the winter but came out on sunny warm days. We vacuumed hundreds of the ones that got inside our house to no avail. In late Feb., we found a recommendation for Pioneer Pest Management on Nextdoor so we called them. Pioneer assured us that the spray would not harm our outdoor cats or the wild birds. They advised us that we should not spray unless we had a couple dry days in advance and a couple dry days afterwards. The weather was against us and we had to cancel & reschedule several times. We appreciated that they didn't want to make a fast buck and wanted us to get the most out of the spraying. Don , who came out to spray, thoroughly explained in advance what he was going to do and how the chemicals worked, and what to expect afterwards. The spray was very effective! Most of them died that day. After a few days, the last of bugs trickled into the house. We were very happy with the service, both from the office staff and Don. We have no doubt we will eventually need to call on Pioneer Pest Management to come back and we know we can count on them.

Tyler promptly came out, inspected the house, exterior and interior, and then set up traps in the attic. I never heard the mouse again. Tyler came back a few days later and confirmed that two mice had been captured and he removed them. I have been very satisfied with Pioneer Pest service and would recommend them to others.
