Ehrlich Pest had a shaky 2020 due to staffing issues. HOWEVER, they recently hired more technicians and now, once again, we’ve been really pleased with their service. The technicians for our last two visits were excellent in their responsiveness to our questions, knowledge, treatments and suggestions to us. We plan to continue with Ehrlich now. We are very impressed with how they worked to solve their short term issues, as well as how pleasant and very qualified technicians are that attend their customers. We would recommend Ehrlich!

Local employees are excellent, however out of state customer service/communication is poor. I continue to use Ehrlich for my pest needs since I’ve already paid the upfront costs for rodent extermination this past winter and am now locked into a monthly contract.

Overall the face to face interactions are wonderful. I genuinely like the guy that comes out, easy to get along with. We have a bad wasp problem and he took the time to thoroughly take care of it. He went around the house and then into the attic taking out more nests than I want to think about. He gave us advice and things to be cautious of and was on his way. Now I do have a problem with the scheduling and contacting the company as a whole. I've had continued trouble getting in touch with someone. My reoccurring appointment was missed/not scheduled and nobody called to tell me. I've called to see why nobody came out and was told they were here and in my house treating ants which is not a problem I have. Fortunately I think so highly of the guy that comes out, the poor communication with whatever call center has a minimal impact on the overall quality of service.

Techs were polite and professional. They explained the service they were there to perform and added additional support where it was needed throughout the house. They are great about recommending maintenance and repairs to prevent future issues. I always feel protected from pests when they leave and sleep a little easier.

We had a follow up and the tech was very nice. We had tried several times to have someone come out to check our traps. Every time I called we were told we didn’t have that service. The tech took the time to verify we did.

I was scheduled for outside treatment for ants, spiders, stink bugs, bees, hornets, basically all insects on Friday, June 4, 2021 and Ehrlich never showed up. I sent a message to Donna Walls, the office's Administrative Assistant asking if they showed and she Ccd some guy (Brett) asking why no one showed at my house for a treatment. He did not respond to her email. I asked why I didnt' receive treatment when I was scheduled, I asked for a discount and asked for treatment ASAP when I informed them that the bugs were out of control at my house and needed treatment ASAP. I also asked for a discount. I did not get an apology at all from ANYONE at the company. Just when I am scheduled to be treated with no time provided. I replied back asking what time, as of today, 6/10/21 NO RESPONSE! They were great in the Fall/Winter when I had mice! They were quick to treat and fix and charge me quick with that treatment but now for Summer, they just don't seem to care!!! I will be cancelling my next appointment and cancelling their services I am not satisfied at all with them! I will be going somewhere else!!! Rayna M Gaudet, dis-satisfied customer

One star for the administrative unit, for two reasons: first, although I asked for seasonal services (mosquito and tick spray), no one in that office informed me that they did not have a state licensed specialist on staff and therefore could not offer this service. The specialist had already left their employ when I first requested the services and has not been replaced three months later. The administrative unit should have communicated this to me. Second reason for one star: I did not know I had an appointment for services until the technician called me the night before. This is not the first time that they have failed to notify us of an appointment. Five stars for the technician. It was the first time to our house, so he took his time to make sure that all the bait traps were reviewed and fresh bait added as necessary.

We have been working with Ehrlich Pest Control for a year now. We have had different reasons for service calls from Hornets to Carpenter Ants. Jeremy who has been the service tech that has come out each time is always friendly and professional. Jeremy takes his time and is very mindful of the property and very thorough in his treatment. He is always conscious of our two Gollden Retrievers and is sure to warn us of any potential harm. After each visit there is a follow up call or text to see how everything is going and to see if they need to come back. We would highly recommend Ehrlich Pest Control.

Im in a program that Ehrlich has I believe it is something like pest control 365 and every few months they come and check with me to see if I’ve noticed any specific activity (since I’ve had lady bug/ stink bug problems) and they either just spray the outside of my house or if there’s activity inside they do what they need to do inside as well. My fiancé and I have been using them since we moved into our home almost 2 years ago and they are amazing. And thanks to them no more lady bug infestations! I did however mention today that there is a bees nest under some lifted concrete in my backyard and I’m not sure they did anything about it. Maybe there was no activity near it today but I know it’s there. Other than that they’re great.

Keith notifies us of all he finds during his visit in a very timely manner and again works with us in regards to the time and dates of his visit. We give them at least a 10 out of 10. We have had the pleasure of using Ehrlich out of Biddeford Maine for a number of years which has been a success largely due to the TECHNICIANS, that were professional, personable and communicated first thing in the morning, touched base at different points during the day and if there were any follow up's that would need to be made or for a residual treatment. They deserve a raise traveling 2.5 hrs in terrible winter conditions at times! I would recommend and will continue to use them should another problem crop up. The only issue we experienced was not due to the technicians or the phone service person that set up scheduling, but rather, whomever was in charge at the warehouse level for product our technicians needed, but were given the wrong items on multiple occasions. This in no way affected their ability to take care of the issue we contacted them about. I was able to go online and order the needed items but it was not the standard that they had previously maintained.

I needed to hire Ehrlich last year for mice. Never before had a problem but people everywhere said it was a crazy year for mice! The problem was isolated and resolved very quickly with no returns! I have decided to keep the service year round to keep my grounds, gardens and central air free of insects and any outside pests. Why I am writing the review is because of the gentleman that does my area. His name is Keith! He has done an outstanding job but most importantly to me is his ability to accommodate my crazy schedule which makes life easy. He knows his stuff, helps me to make the right decisions, and is always there when he says he will be! I am not sure, I would want to do the year round service just because I can't always live by the windows! Whenever I call, I get just what I need and want! Thank you Keith Whitten for your outstanding service and of course Ehrlich for hiring the best!

I’m very happy with Ehrlich pest control. We were having issues with ants around the exterior of our home. One treatment by Ehrlich took care of the problem. The only thing I wish were different is having to pay year-round to get preventative treatment. We don’t have issues other than in the summer, so it would be nice if there was an option to pay just for maybe the summer/fall seasons.

I’ve had Ehrlich for the last 3-4 years. I’ve recently called because I have carpenter ants and they are scheduled to come out and take care of that. We also subscribe to their mosquito and tick service that has worked great in the past. About a week ago after they sprayed we had a huge influx of mosquitoes and I just call and they scheduled another treatment. We’ll see if they take care of it but I’m fairly sure they will. They stand behind their word.

Ehrlich Rentokil Pest Control is my first call when dealing with pests or wildlife at my home, and Chase Horton is the person I call. He always returns my calls promptly and courteously, answers all my questions, and is extremely knowledgeable about how to treat a variety of unwelcome “visitors.” We have used Ehrlich for one time treatments for ants, and Chase always guarantees his work. We have also used a monthly service contract, and he always arrives on the designated days and emails a thorough report, with details about what he found, as well as recommendations for any issues that arise. As far as safety, he uses the least toxic and safest treatments, and advises if and how long humans and pets should avoid the treatment areas. If you value responsiveness, knowledge, courtesy and most importantly results, you will be very happy with Chase Horton at Ehrlich Rentokil Pest Control.

The only I don't like is they call and tell you oh ww will be there in 15 minutes. But there is no scheduled time. I would rather have an appt. And have them stick to it. I'm not always home like this time . I couldn't have him come I wasn't going to be home. Please call and schedule a time.

The first tick/mosquito spraying in late June was a disappointment because in previous years the mosquito population on our property had been virtually reduced to zero for the whole summer whereas this year’s spraying had a pretty limited effect. The unusually large amount of rain in June could have been a factor this year, however. After we complained, the company did a complementary respray in mid July and the results are much better so at this point we are quite satisfied.

The service is always prompt with a pre-arrival call. A review of the process is followed by a neat timely service. Results are shared physically so the client can see any activity or none! Recommendations for future action are made before leaving and feedback / questions are always asked for. The appointment concludes Always on time.

Not only was he thorough, but he took the time to explain the procedure and reassure everyone in my building that he would get the bed bug problem under control, which he was well underway to accomplishing. This year has been a bad one for mosquitoes because of all the rain. Ehrlich was very responsive in returning for a second spraying before it was due after I called to say the mosquitoes were still in abundance. However, one of the changes they have made is sending one man in a truck with a sprayer that does not seem to be as effective as the bigger truck with more sophisticated equipment although we're paying the same rate. Maybe they are saving money? So this year hasn't been a five star one.
