Justin is the most AMAZING Aptive Technician. He came to my house twice to remove a huge beehive in the crawl space. They sent two other Technicians that couldn't get the job done. From the moment I called Aptive and spoke with Peyton I knew I called the right place! He was super attentive and helpful. He got us scheduled right away. Tara Z. was our service technician and was extremely knowledgeable,professional, and friendly. The main reason we contacted Aptive was ants in the kitchen. They are gone. We were so happy with the service we received from Tara and Aptive. We also have a dog that was unaffected from anything that was sprayed. Have had Aptive for several years doing quarterly pest control and am very satisfied with the service. The company is very responsive, the field people are careful, thorough and respectful. It’s always a challenge living in a suburban wooded area, but Aptive has been able to keep things very controlled. I like being given the list of ingredients used and them using the least harmful products to accomplish the goal. Pricing is competitive.

My wife and I never buy in to door to door sales, but Nate was professional, kind, observant, and most important of all he wasn't pushy. It was a casual chat about the pest issues he'd seen at other homes in our community and what services Aptive offered to deal with them. He was up front with pricing, scheduling, and what our service would cover. He did a walk around with us and pointed out what he saw and listened to what we had seen. Preston, who handled our treatment, was professional, attentive, and friendly. No complaints, and we've seen a marked decrease in insects and pests.

I have a contract and they come every quarter or more if needed. The people are always nice and professional and always happy to help and answer questions. Since I have a contract, if i need them more than quarterly due to (mice in attic or Yellowjacket hive around the house or spiders in garage). They come right away and I have never been charged extra for any of those extra visits either. I have been using their service for more than 5 years now I believe.

This was an outside treatment that was used around the perimeter of my home that is being done periodically through out the year to eliminate any problems. The original treatment was done inside the house and included dusting vaulted ceiling areas which had spider webs and the basement, as well as, all living areas in the house. I thought the technician was very competent and professional and I was pleased with the service.

Michael was professional and patient in explaining the process. The work was performed and completed right away. The reason not 5 stars, and a big part, is the fact that he did not mention that you have to receive 2 or 3 more treatments within a certain amount of time at the tune of $139 each. Don't get me wrong, I believe it's worth it, however, if you are in a fixed income like I am, it's disappointing to feel like I was bamboozled. Had I not needed the service for the pesky outdoor insects in the past couple years, I would have declined.

I have used Aptive since 2017. The first couple of years were fine but over the past year-two I haven't been able to get the same service with a simple phone call or text 30 minutes in advance. I have two big dogs that are outside often and for the safety of Aptive and for my own liability, I have asked continually to get this notice. I have spoken to various managers and keep getting promises that this will happen and that it is in fact standard practice, but it never happens. I was serviced yesterday and again, no advance notice so I could bring my pets in. I have had an ongoing ant issue that I had to resolve with other means aside from Aptive as well. They offered to come inside, but because of their history of not giving notice, I couldn't use them. Hate to see them go, but there are other options in my area that I hope can make a simple phone call or text in advance of service.

Tara from Aptive has been great. Always takes the time to talk to me regarding any specific issues we are having and how to both treat and prevent them in the future. She just spends the time needed to do the whole job. She was able to remove wasps and and spent time discussing how to keep these pests from coming back next year. Tara also heard me when I told her fall is when the ants come marching in and we discussed steps for keeping that from happening and she treated the property with that in mind. Aptive has been very responsive whenever we have needed them. I would recommend giving them a try if you have pests.

He explained what he could do inside since he couldn’t spray near food surfaces. Checked all entry points and did a thorough inspection outside. Grant was on time and polite. Used ant bait gel and liquid spray. Someone will need to come back with mouse glue traps since I don’t want the snap traps. Not sure how effective spraying outdoors will be since it’s too cold. I needed the hole where carpenter bees went in this past summer addressed.

I don’t know that I would’ve switched except for how personable and informative Charlie was. A young man came out within a couple hours and treated our place and he also was very professional.

We use Aptive for quarterly service, and they've been fantastic But today was our best experience yet. We had a technician named Darnell come out to our house for our quarterly service. Prior to the service, I called and gave them a heads-up about some bees in our deck box. So, Darnell came out, sprayed, and dug each and every piece of a GIANT hive out of there, getting stung while doing it. We provided him with ice, water, and itch cream because he risked himself for us. Nicest guy, and he was a rockstar. Give this man a raise!

The initial sign up was nice. They ended up giving a nice police/military discount. But I couldn’t have the initial treatment done that day so I rescheduled for another day at 3 o’clock. On that day they called me at 930 am and said my appointment was at 1030. I explained to them I work nights and I wouldn’t be awake since I worked the night previously. The tech said he would get back to me about it and never did. I waited until 330 and no call no one showed so I called them. They said there was a mix up and rescheduled me for an appointment that day at 5. They people didn’t show up until almost 530. The people that showed up were very nice and explained everything but the initial was horrible.

Effective treatment. Poor communication and practices. My initial interaction with the salesman was excellent and he offered a wonderful initial deal. I was supposed to get the first treatment then every three months for a year. The service was effective however they came back for a second treatment in less than 30 days and I signed up for every 3 months. I emailed to cancel the appt and remind them i was only every 3 months. I still received a bill for treatment. I was at work and there was no card left and no one knocked at the door so I don’t even know if the treatment was done.

He sent me a text to tell me that he was coming, told me when he was on his way, and then afterwards, he sent me a text to tell me exactly what was done. You don't have to guess as to what was done! I am very pleased with the service and the amount of time it took for the insect spray to work. The phrase, “dropping like flies” literally happened the same day they sprayed. I actually bad for some of the peat flying in my backyard, the spider infestation I had in my backyard has pretty much disappeared. I’m still seeing some annoying bugs like moths lingering around, but I am still satisfied this far. A second call back to spray again will probably help. Great job Aptive.

Technicians seem decent, but central office communication doesn’t seem great and there’s a punitive fee for canceling the service during the first year. They’re just going to build the business and sell out to Terminix eventually anyway, so be prepared for that.

I have been using Aptive for a few years but their communication is terrible with the office. I canceled an appointment twice because of money issues but they kept rescheduling instead of canceling. I was told it was because I didn't put the account on hold? No, you didn't put the account on hold. When I asked to cancel and I will call when I was ready again that's when they should have put a hold on the account. So someone ended up coming out anyway and missed spider webs all around my deck and apparently a detached garage is not part of my house because they miss this area all the time. So my deck, garage, addition and 2nd deck on that was not done at all. Just not happy overall with how things have been going the last couple visits.

The 3rd time Justin came out and spent an hour and did inside and outside house and showed me where mice got in. He sealed and placed poison down. He is very polite and knowledgeable. Her name was Tara she was an extremely hard worker and she explained everything that she was going to do in different parts of our house inside and outside.Tara found every where the ANTS were entering our house from the outside and showed us their path, it was amazing. Tara told us that it may take a few days for the ANTS to disappear.Today Friday 5/20/2022 I inspected our house inside and outside and I couldn't find any ANTS. Tara is definitely an asset to your company. I can't say how great an employee of your company she is as far as being neat, knowledge in her presentation of what her company does and what she would be doing and the results of her hard work. The sales man was in our neighborhood on Thursday and came to my home. I was looking for a pest series is and had bad customer service experience with a local group. He offered me a home inspection and first application for 99 bucks and 130 for each returning time. 4x year for 2 years. I figured why not after checking company website and reviews while the gentleman was explaining services. ( wanted to make sure not a scam) quick easy sign up and scheduled guy to come out Saturday 3pm to 5pm. On Saturday guy came at 245pm which is awesome and early. Was very professional and did a walk through with me. I explained the problem areas and he made suggestions. He set traps, dewebbed and sprayed. I had my basement done as well. All around a pleasant experience and good value. Says if any problems arise to call and they send someone out free of charge. Based on other customer reviews this is a correct policy. Also products used are pet safe..was told pup can be out after 30 mins to dry and kid safe. Works for me.

Aptive is a nice company. They are professional and effective. We bought an old stone house. They are prone to ant and rodent infestation. We had 3-4 different types of ants. There was also evidence of rodents. They did what it takes to eradicate the ants. They controlled and are maintaining my property for rodents too. They remove the cobwebs from the exterior of your home as well. The staff is courteous and on time. They notify you when they are in route. They knock on the door when they arrive. If you need the interior done, they will schedule an appointment with you to come inside to treat the required areas. I would recommend Aptive to anyone.

Justin and Joe treated my house and yard and they were fabulous! Not only were they very friendly, they answered all of my questions and did an extremely thorough job. I will be specifically asking for them to come back to treat out house and yard whenever possible. The only negative thing I have to say is that there's always a catch. The solicitor that came to my house was extremely friendly as well and I liked him a lot, but I feel like I was misled. Perhaps I didn't ask the right questions to get the clarity I needed. It is proposed that you only pay a certain low price for your first treatment but you have to commit to 12 months of quarterly service. To me that would mean first treatment plus 3 others, but that is not the case. It is first treatment, second treatment one month later as your first quarterly, then 3 more quarterly payments. Not too big of a deal as we will be maintaining preventive treatment as long as we are happy with the results but others please be advised.

Aptive is, without question, a company on the move. First, the route manager (Brenner) had the most informative, no-obligation pitch in my memory. It was clear he was working for that commitment but I never once felt pressured to say "yes." To his credit, I decided that we would give Aptive one (1) year to show us what they could do. Then, on date of first service (the following day), the field technician, Kevin, was superb. He followed up the agreement terms already entered with the route manager, explained the aspects of service to be performed that day and, when I reminded him of an issue inside the home, listened carefully as I showed him the problem and explained where I believed the issue might be occurring. Once Kevin began treatment and located from where he thought our inside issue was originating, he brought me to the source and explained how he was planning to treat it. Furthermore, questions that I posed to him were satisfactorily answered. It's one thing to rate well during an initial service, it's quite another to maintain that level of service. Still, with the kind of professional and knowledgeable employees with whom I've already had the pleasure to meet, I am confident that this arrangement with Aptive could be a long-standing and beneficial one.
