Noticed a few ants, then more. The ants overwhelmed us. Called Orkin and got an immediate response. Technician was on-time, inspected area and gave , possible causes and a plan to rid us of the black ants. Weather is part of the problem , so a course of action was implemented. ALWAYS recommend Orkin above all others! I've used other services but,never had a complete eradication of the issues I had except for with Orkin. I've always been a winter and I use their service and four different rental homes that had terrible issues when I moved in. People say you can never really get rid of cockroaches. Wrong! Parking got rid of them every time. I was even allowed to take my service with me at the same cost when I moved into a larger home. Service uninterrupted love it!

The service was good. However, communication is poor. I'd get texts that the exterminator was arriving at x dayte and time to treat the property, then another text would go out with a different time, and the exterminator would arrived at the time of the 1st text. I called Orkin to cancel service (no contract was ever signed). Then I received a text saying they were coming to spray the next day. I called immediately and told them to cancel the spray and the person again took down the cancellation. The exterminator showed up and was not allowed entry on my property, and I called a third time to cancel. This time the customer service person said they needed it in writing, and I told her I do not have a contract with Orkin. I was billed for the 3rd service which I will be disputing.

No to mention when “I” missed the time slot; he had no problem coming back to swing by and take care of our home same day rather than how most other places would’ve required a reschedule. Not Jacob! Orkin service guy was just the most chill dude ever. He was thorough, polite, and a genuine pleasure to chat with. He came over for our regularly scheduled treatment and was swift about his work. We hung out to chat with him when the lawn mowing crew made it difficult for him to work outside, and again he was just a genuinely good natured person and we enjoyed the conversation. Orkin has been good to us and our home, responded to a few emergency bug calls sure to previous owner problems, and we haven't had much issue since!

This was our first visit to spray for bugs so I'm looking forward to a bug free environment. The technician who came to our house was very professional, friendly & on time. Our next visit from Orkin will be for the termites. After owning our home for 43 years I guess it was going to happen, I'm just glad it was caught & they guarantee their work. I really appreciated the service tech I had today! Vincent was knowledgeable, friendly and considerate which was nice because he made sure to spray the front yard first so I could have time to get the kids inside from the backyard before he went back there to finish. I called Orkin the day before the service, as yellow jacket wasps had called my house “home”. The Orkin rep was able to schedule next day service. The following morning, Dave arrived, and ‘exterminated’ the wasp infestation in my house. Dave was friendly and professional throughout the time he was at my house. He was able to answer all my questions regarding the process. If I have another infestation problem in the future, Orkin is the company that I will call.

Getting a quote for them was very easy and they didn't put any pressure on me to choose their service. They explained exactly what would take place during the inspection and how the treatment process works. They spoke straight facts during their explanation of everything. We were able to get serviced the same day. When the technician came out he did the inspection and pointed out things that could cause the problem and offered suggestions as to how we could fix things. The treatment itself didn't take very long at all. There's 7 adults and 7 children that are in and out of this house daily and after receiving terrible service (that was harmful to children )with another company we were all very pleased with the amount charged and the services we received. Especially when it came to the safety of the children. All of us here would most definitely recommend this company to others.

The workers have always been great. They’ll call before they arrive and work with you if you’re not home and are running late etc. My only complaint is the effectiveness sometimes. Everyone will have variance but I am so far mostly satisfied. I am adding the fact that Steve has been coming out as our regular guy and we have had major improvements. His diligence and attention to detail have turned our experience into a true 5 stars!! Orkin should do everything they can to take care of employees like Steve. As a business owner I understand how difficult it is to find quality people who take pride in their work and Steve most definitely does just that! Thanks Steve!!

I don’t necessarily have a bad review or a good review. The guy shows up, waits no more than 5 minutes before driving away. If you manage to get to the door in under 5 minutes he will take no more than 5 more minutes to do his job. It’s really quick service. Do I notice a decrease in spiders? No. Are we overrun by insects and bugs? Also no. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Les is the absolute BEST tech I have had in the 30 plus years I've been an Orkin customer. I sleep at night confident that bugs and rodents are not going to bother me while I'm sleeping! Called to start service, they showed up the next day. They worked around my two dogs and three cats, professionally. They found some spiders and ants, treated the inside and outside (and then some) and left. No muss, no fuss, exactly as planned and at the price quoted. I know from past experience that I won’t see another bug as long as they are on the job. Great!

I had an appt. scheduled for an ant issue. When the technician didn't show up during the 2 hour scheduled time, I waited an additional 30 minutes in case she was running late. I then called and found out that she called in sick that day, but no one contacted me to cancel my appt or reschedule it. So I sat and waited all that time for nothing. I personally contacted a manager who showed up within 15 minutes and took care of the problem. When I spoke to customer service, they could only see my quarterly service appointment that was scheduled later in the month. What happened to the appt I had for that day? It had been removed. Terrible customer service at the center. Completely awesome service by Les. He has consistenly provided excellent service for years. There was never even one incident during the many years he was our tech. His service is off the charts outstanding. He deserved his promotion. The customer service/scheduling dept needs some work. If it were not for Les, I would have switched service to another company. That is is how easy you could lose a very long term customer. This was no fault of the tech originally scheduled either. I understand getting sick...but someone in the company knew that and should have contacted her appts for the day to let them know and to reschedule. Not have us waiting around for hours for a no show!

Major water lines were replaced in a house that's been sitting empty for ten years which caused oriental roaches to flood the house. I called at six a.m and orkin was here the same day. Hopefully this will take care of the problem as I'm afraid to sleep here.

Jacob is a very nice and polite guy. He is very conscious about what he has been told by the supervisors he can and cannot do. I have some small areas I know have bugs in that he will not spray because he has been told he isn't allowed to do. Trust me, these ants will come in the windows and counter corners and end up all over the kitchen counters. They don't go down to the floor first. Mike had a special safety way with towels put down on the counter and a pencil lead sized sprayer to keep things safe. Is there a way to allow Jacob to do the same. Adrianna, who has taken over our house following Mike's retirement came today. She was very nice and easy to work with. I think she and I will work well together. My only problem with today is not being notified the day before. I don't know which email of my husband or me was used, but we didn't get it only one day ahead of time. Texting or calling the day before would be wise, too. I'm glad I was actually home and available to answer the door today. Mike is great! He knows his customers and is interested in what is going on in their lives. He knows our house well and knows where the problems may be. The tech who performed the service was friendly, personable, and did a great job addressing our concerns along with providing suggestions! The representative on the phone was great as well and helped me understand the pros and cons especially since I was approaching from a more proactive approach. Orkin was able to provide prompt service regarding an issue with cicada killers. The gentleman who arrived was on time and respectful, and he made quick work of the tasks. After calling my home town office with no response I got the national 800 number and call after waiting on local pest control to respond and didnt until after I set up services with Orkin . They were very professional and helpful. Set me up a fast inspection and date and made plan that would work and was affordable. I understand orkin is a high price pest control but they guarantee there services. I dont do bugs wont live with bugs. . Person was friendly and helpful very professional patient while moved things around so he could get better access to the baseboards and stuff . Hopefully wont need to see them until next set up appointment. They only thing I was worried about was my cats and the spray I tried to keep them away until it dried but it hasnt fazed my cats or harmed them. I would recommend them if you want your pest problems taken care of. Dont like bugs wont live with bugs thank you

My technician, Steve, does everything he can to accommodate my schedule. For example, I forgot he was coming and wasn’t home for service. He took care of everything on the outside of our home and left a message asking when he should come back. The only time I had available was on his way home several days later. He arrived at 6:45 p.m. to finish the job. Even with long days caused by clients like me, his attitude is always so positive it’s contagious. He is definitely a good “face” for Orkin.

This was my first time using Orkin and they were great! Easy to get ahold of, schedule, and their technician, Cory, was friendly and professional. He even cleaned the spider/webs out of my mailbox that were holding my mail hostage! The spray that was used doesn’t have a strong chemical smell and was only in the specific areas it was sprayed for the most part (didn’t spread/leak to other areas) and I appreciate that since I have small children and pets in the home. The price was great. I’m hoping this takes care of the spiders and ants I’ve found so far, but we’ll see as time goes on.

I have been pleased with the technicians but very unhappy with the changes in scheduling. I find it very frustrating not to have a regular day and time for our every-other-month treatments. I receive a phone call (90% of the time in the form of voice mail) just a few days before a randomly selected date and time. Almost every time, I have to call and change the appointment to a time that is convenient for me. This is NOT customer-friendly.

Orkin has been treating my home for over 15 years. The technicians are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The technicians listen to my concerns and treat my home to completely control pest. After the treatments and up to the next treatment the only bugs I see are dead bugs. I have found their treatments to be very effective. Scheduling my service calls to fit my schedule is very easy.

I called to inquire about services and a tech came out the next day. Vince came out and informed me of the PPE he would be using. He was very kind and knowledgeable about his trade. He talked to my 1.5 year old son and my dog and was very personable. This review is mostly for Vince, and indirectly Orkin because he works there. Vince should be a training manager and receive a significant raise. He’s the bees knees. I can’t report yet on the quality as they just came today, but the experience was 5 star.

My tech showed up and we weren't notified of an appt. So he couldn't get in as no one was home. First time we didn't get a notice ahead of time. Not very happy with that as we have been having problems with spiders real bad. Have been in touch with tech and we will set up a time for him to come back.
