I only wish the quarterly service package reduced cost if interior pest control isn't done. They like to be conservative with indoor treatment, and only treat if activity is seen, which I commend.

I hired Abra Kadabra to perform annual preventative services and have been using them for years. They are the most environmentally safe and effective service I've ever hired. Their team is professional, shows up on time, are kind and responsive, and most importantly effective. I have since added them for mosquito/flea/tick prevention and had the best summer experience since moving to Minnesota. We were able to use our backyard the entire summer without lighting one citronella candle and we have a pond. It was amazing! I highly highly recommend this team. You won't be disappointed. We have used Abra Kadabra for several years to help us with mice in the home. Their maintenance program is very effective in preventing them from flourishing in our home. This has been an on-going issue since we purchased the home several years back. Additionally, seasonal bugs (lady beetles and boxelder bugs - and now Stink bugs) have been an issue we used another company to treat - but this year we are giving all of our business to AK - because they're the best. We have had exceptional care and service from every one of their providers. The gal in their office who took my recent call was absolutely professional, efficient, knowledgeable and concise about what they offer and how we can benefit. The pricing from AK is better than another provider we had been using in years past. Win win win, all around. We love Abra Kadabra and highly recommend you hire them too!!

We called to see if there where any cancellations to get us seen earlier as we could hear something in our ceiling and were called soon after with an earlier time for our inspection. Patrick was thorough and we got our estimate for repairs quickly and with great detail including pictures of the problem areas around our house. We look forward to getting those spots fixed by them soon! Edited to add that we had Louis out to make repairs and he did such a great job! He was so personable and you can tell he likes his job. The repairs looks great (blend in with our house so you can barely tell which is perfect)!

I had called him out for a yellow jacket issue and he identified they were under my siding and pointed out a couple other things: carpenter ants, possible mice/rodent issues. Today's (10/25/21) visit was a bi-monthly get ready for winter visit. Max cleared out the cobwebs, checked the mouse blocks, treated the perimeter, and spot treated the basement for spiders. Great job! I feel very comforted knowing my house is protected and if anything comes up, Max is just a text message away. The first service was to get rid of the yellow jackets behind my back steps. I am still grateful for that! Max is great!

Excellent company, came out immediately as an emergency service and Joseph the technician was absolutely wonderful. Other companies said it would be up to two weeks despite me explaining that I had a special needs child and an elderly parent living with me and that the wasps were invading the house, being nested in the walls! Joseph came within the hour and did a really professional and thorough job and was extremely knowledgeable and personable. I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team and would certainly use their services again, although I hope I don’t need to !

When I called to make an appointment for an inspection, I was given detailed information regarding the company's services, and the phone representative was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She was able to send a technician to my home the next day, which I greatly appreciated. When the experienced technician inspected the property, he was also very knowledgeable and professional. He did a thorough inspection and followed up with several recommendations for treating or resolving the problems, including cost estimations for each. He then followed up by sending me an informative e-mail that included detailed photos of the entrance points for the squirrels. We ended up making the decision to remove the old the porch which was causing the problem, which had been one of the technician's recommendations. I would wholeheartedly recommend Abra Kadabra Environmental Services to anyone seeking diagnosis or help with unwanted "houseguests" - without hesitation!

The employees are always smiling, they use products that are safe with kids and pets, they explain what they are doing and what we should keep an eye out for. , I had previously posted a pretty negative review of this company as I felt that my warranty concerns weren't being addressed in a professional manner. Since that posting, the owner of the company has reached out to me and we have been able to come to a mutual agreement on how to remedy this situation and move on. UPDATE 10/10/22 Going on 3 years since Abra Kadabra was here to do mouse and carpenter ant removal. For the $3,500 I paid, I shouldn't have either again but I have both. I feel that the company has no real capability to remove mice or carpenter ants. They prey on your fears about pests, charge you lots of money, talk a good game but in the end $3,500 could have bought lots of mouse traps and ant spray that would be more effective.

I had recently moved into a house that had a basement infested with spiderwebs, and it was only a matter of time before the spiders starting showing up everywhere. I searched for bug removing companies near me and Abra Kadabra came up. They were just down the road from me and had the most reasonable prices of the three companies I called (as well as best name). They came out and were very thorough in investigating the issue and determining the best course of action. They recommended I go on the quarterly check up for the first year, so I did and they reached out to me when it was time for the second check up. This time I had concerns of rodents outside and in the back shed, so they set up traps for them, plus re-sprayed for spiders (although I hadn't seen any since the first time). I even gave a very bad description of a bug I had been seeing all over and the tech knew exactly what I was talking about. So far, I'm very pleased with the services I have received, and am going to be calling again for the summertime mosquitoes.

He was so kind and helpful and was very knowledgeable about what he was doing (and seemed to enjoy his work!). I wanted to follow up from my review below. Although my first interaction with Abra Kadabra was not ideal, the subsequent interaction and follow up was extraordinary. They quickly jumped on the issue (some of which was out of their control) and worked hard to turn a negative into a BIG positive. They definitely made a great impression and helped our family with the issue. They went above and beyond and are a company that I would use again and recommend in the future. Thank you! Unfortunately, my experience was different than many of the individuals posting here. I had requested an initial consultation on June 9th for possible red squirrels making their way into my home. Two individuals came to inspect our house. There was nothing wrong with the first visit. I was given an overview of what they believe the problem was and what the next steps could possible be to resolve it. I was told they would need approximately 7 days to send a quote/estimate for an extraction service and for a trapping service. No follow up was made - no call, no email, and no estimate. I sent a follow up email 2 weeks later inquiring about the additional services and was told to expect a quote in a few days. A week later I had received no follow up, so I sent an additional email requesting the information that was promised. Still nothing. We are nearly 2 months from my initial visit and I have not received any follow communication.

Josh and Tim handled the trapping (and safe release) of the squirrels over the course of 10 days and then returned and expertly repaired the damaged area (which is where the squirrels were getting in). The quality of their work in the repair area was excellent as was the thoroughness of their work in removing the squirrels. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and patient with my questions. Abracadabra came out, used a drone to identify the entry point, placed cages with motion sensors on them, trapped the culprits and then retrofitted out roof peak vents so it won't happen again. I’ve had a flying squirrel in my apartment twice within the last few months. I wasn’t getting the help I needed through my apartment office and maintenance, so I called Abra Kadabra after I saw it for a second time. They were able to come quickly on a Saturday afternoon and do a thorough check through my apartment to try to find the flying squirrel and possible entry points. They identified a couple places it could be coming in from and left a baited trap since they weren’t able to find it. Around 8pm, I heard the trap set and the flying squirrel was inside! I called them right away and they offered to come get it shortly. I was floored that they would come late on a Saturday night to retrieve and relocate the squirrel! They also identified one more spot that could be an entry point. I hope this doesn’t happen again but if it does, I’ll definitely be calling Abra Kadabra!

The technician, Andy, came promptly on sn emergency call on a Saturday evening to take care of my emergency need for rodent capture and extraction. Many services that offer "24/7" emergency response service do not. The first guy came out and spray the nest (and other places he’d found) but said they’d have to come back in a few days, to remove the nest, which was fine. Another guy, also very good, came today and remove 3 nests. My only complaint is that I wasn’t told there was an additional charge to remove the nests. I don’t mind the charge but I wish someone had told me beforehand.

We had squirrels in between our siding and our dry wall. They got through our cedar siding with the help of woodpeckers. The squirrels took advantage of the woodpecker holes. It was difficult to get someone one out in a timely manner. But when I told Abracadabra I thought the squirrels were in my walls they came out the next day to set up traps. They always came out in a timely manner when I called to let them know a squirrel was in a trap. I hope I never have squirrel problems but if I do I would use Abracadabra again.
