Orkin came today at our place, performed a general inspection and started mosquito extermination. Their approach was very comprehensive and their inspection very thorough. The diagnosis and action plan is clear and easy to understand and they are extremely nice and friendly. Compared to other companies we used in the past their approach is serious and professional, not just words and an invoice..: We highly recommend them as being trustworthy.

I’ve been using Orkin every 2 months for over 2 years when I noticed insects outside of my property due to some nearby construction. After the first nontoxic treatment, I noticed that that I did not have this issue nor did I have any of the pests trying to enter my property. Now I use them for general maintenance indoor and outdoor. Since the first visit, they have been professional, on time and responsive. The technicians are great at their job and very respectful of your private space. The price is very affordable. I would highly recommend them.

We have lived with seasonal ant infestations for years and finally tried an exterminator. Orkin has provided a steady, reliable service for the past 5 years and we rarely have seen ants in the house. We also have two indoor dogs so we are very pleased with the pet friendly products.

Erwin showed up on time, was extremely considerate and professional. He thoroughly inspected my dad's apartment and came up with a plan to get rid of German cockroaches along with moths. My dad is older and can feel vulnerable if people are not considerate when they come into his home. Erwin was extremely friendly and took his time to explain what he planned to do for my dad. He just did the initial service today so I'm not sure how the treatment will turn out. We were told it will take about 10 days for the bugs to go away and Erwin Said they would be back out in 2 weeks to do another assessment for free.

I opened some internal walls during a construction project and found water and termite damage. I needed to halt construction to get termite treated me t before sealing up the walls. This happened on a Friday. Irking was able to get a technician at my house by 10am Saturday morning, so there was no delay to the project. After my initial call I was told the earliest available tech was Tuesday afternoon. When I explained my problem, I was turned over to the dispatch person for my local branch who solved the problem.

I find the exterminators are hit and miss. They were great, coming back multiple times, when we were dealing with a rat infestation in our garages. Although at one point he did say the solution was to knock down the garages. Yeah, that wasn't helpful. Irritated currently because making an appointment with a specific time block seems to be difficult for them. Called two days ago was told they'd get back to me within 24 hours. No one called so I called again. Was told they can't get in touch with my local office but someone would call with a time and they'd definitely be coming the next day. No call. I call them the day of the "supposed" appointment at 4:30p. Was told they tried three times waited 15 minutes and then left. They had my landline phone number but no message was left. They claimed they didn't have access but there is nothing stopping them from getting to the front door of the unit to ring the bell. The tenant was here all day and I was here all day except for a brief 45 minutes. Just poor communication and frustrating when you have to keep taking time out of your day to deal with something that isn't fun to begin with.

We use Orkin on both of our properties. In our service package, they come monthly to spray and check to see if anything is going on so that we don’t have issues down the road. They always call before they arrive. They’re alway present. At each house we have a designated technician, which we like. Their is never any up sell. Honest, efficient, professional all the time.

Between the apartment building behind us and the restaurant next door, roaches have been an absolute nightmare in the past. Getting rid of them is a process, and a long one. Orkin has done a great job managing the issue, informing the occupants, all while doing their job with a smile. A text arrives a few days before their appointment, the technician checks in a couple times a year, concerns about pests are addressed if their are any, and we have been roach free for a few years now. I've been an Orkin Termite customer since 1988 and began using the "pest control" service a few years ago to deal with our ant invasion. I'd been doing it myself for years, but they have more knowledge and the better chemicals. Their technician is always courteous and almost always on time, as he was today. As they often do not need to enter the house, they are free to come when they please which works for me. And of course, they are always masked.

December 2021 Update: a little frustrated with this Comapny because I tried to transfer my service to a new address and they never showed up!! I proceeded to cancel my services and this is the most lengthy process I’ve experienced for cancellation. I’m still waiting for the branch manager to call me to complete the process…and while waiting, I was charged for service that never happened! I’m ready to be done with this company but still waiting for someone to help complete that process…not sure why agents aren’t able to cancel service over the phone. I kept seeing little bugs in my kitchen and got fed up one night and decided to call and book an appointment. I loved that I was able to speak to a live person even though it was 7pm. The representative was thorough and even consoled me (because I hate bugs, it’s a real fear) she was able to book me a next day appointment. Darriel, my technician, communicated with me the whole morning of the appointment and was even available to come a little earlier. He was very knowledgeable and got the job done in good timing. He answered all of my neurotic questions about my issue and made me feel at ease about the service. He will be back for a follow up next week. I am happy about the service so far! I just hope it is effective! Thanks to the Orkin staff for being so kind.

I have a service contract with Orkin for my rental property. They were good enough to call me to schedule the annual inspection but then no-showed! This was awkward as I had to arrange an acceptable date with my tenant. Oh, and this makes two years in a row. So I contacted the inspector directly--I have used him for years. He arranged the inspection and showed up when promised. If it wasn't for him I would seriously consider using a different company.

I’ve had positive experience with Orkin in the past, but today’s service was terrible. Enrique showed up an hour early for an appointment at an apartment building. Luckily I was able to reach customer service before he had a chance to disturb the tenants. 5 minutes after requesting that the service be done in the scheduled window I got a notice that it was cancelled. Enrique ended up coming after all, drenched outdoor trash cans in pesticide, and got some on my pregnant partner in the process.

My service technician is very nice, but I have had multiple scheduling issues. Twice when I follow the process of rescheduling the auto-scheduled sessions (more than 48 hours in advance and by phone so I can confirm with an actual human), my technician still called to show up on the original day, even though the online system updated with my new appointment. There have been two instances where the technician did not show up to the rescheduled appointment. Even with that, the technician has been late to the scheduled window 3 times and not called me to inform me he was running late until after I called, or after the window. It’s been very frustrating and all I get are casual “sorry” comments from Orkin. Since it’s a large company, I doubt anyone will do anything to fix my issues or compensate me for my time. Once my package is complete, I’ll be pursuing other pest control companies for maintenance going forward.

I tried three other companies before Orkin they were unprofessional and never showed for many appointments and my Termite problems persisted even after a tent of the house. I payed for Orkins top tier termite service with recurring yearly payment. It is overpriced for the services rendered but they are very professional, punctual and I have not seen new termite droppings for a couple of years which it a huge load off of my mind. They get the job done but you will pay prime dollar for the service.

I have been using Orkin for over last 16 years for multiple house and condo anytime I have flea problem. I do not own any pet but when previous owner or tenant had cat or dog, after host animal left, the flea egg remain in premises, crack of wall or floor, and flea egg hatch and cause a massive problem. Orkin has been very professional and identify the problem, and especially their scheduling has been improved comparing several years ago. Most importantly, their chemical works! I use OTC Raid fogger and spray, but at some point you need a professional helps. The tech came today is Vincent, and he is very good at identify the problem and treat an area very well. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with the tech Eric. He was extremely respectful to me and all the tenants. He addressed everyone by sir and ma’m. He repeated the instructions and explanation of the process for eliminating roaches and the theory and science behind the process. He did this for all the four tenants. He thoroughly inspected each unit and applied the chemicals in a precise and careful manner explaining each step that he engaged in to each tenant. Very well done Eric!!

I first decided to go with Orkins for the great reviews they had. The only inconvenience was that I had to make a one year contract in order to receive the service. Now I understand they do that to make sure all pest is eliminated. Now I shall mention that you don’t always get the same techs and some honestly don’t really care and just start spraying without much care or interest to target all the areas. On the other hand I had great techs too. There’s this young tech called Eric Saunders and a senior tech called Samuel Bibay that have been very attentive and careful on the areas they need to spray and they’ve made sure to set traps since I’ve mentioned to them what tenants report. Customer service has been good too like the girl Jessica and the girl that initially assisted me when I got the contract, her name is Alex (she’s very professional and answered all my questions) Overall I can say that I would recommend Orkins and if you think something needs to be addressed just ask the tech and if they can’t help you or they give attitude, contact customer service they will help you.

Every time you send a worker to my house they are courteous and informational. I think your best asset are your staff (and I’ve had about 5 different people assigned to the house) we have yet to solve the rodent problem as I can still hear them in the walls and I wish you offered a trap and release program. But I really appreciate the customer service. I also will say, I’m a single female living on the property and everyone is respectful of my space and is appropriate that I’ve dealt with. Thank you.

However, I will note that I switched to Orkin on the referral of a Neighbor who loved her service guy Bill, who was AMAZING. Sadly for me, but great for Bill, he was promoted. It’s import to me that I have one person on a consistent basis. After Bill, I was assigned to one guy for appx a year and then he left. Since then, it’s been a revolving door of Service Techs. And while they’re all nice, it’s just not the same as you have to re-explain things every visit. Vista aren’t tracked as closely as they should be. I literally had one person service on one day and the next, another contacted me as he was scheduled to come out the following day. Not the first time that happened.

Out of house twice as long as normal due to the lack of follow up on the tenting during the 3+ days it was scheduled for Had to redo the gasing period but not convinced it was effective as the annual inspection proved that ineffectiveness

My exterminator placed 8 to 10 traps and used some type of garland to cover 3 holes around the whole house.I gave you guys 3 stars because Im a nice guy but over all Im not satisfied.I could of the done it myself.I just check on some of the traps and the traps are not working properly.He didnt have a flash light.I was under the impression that he was going to check under the house but he didnt because he said it wasnt necessary but over the phone i was told that that my exterminator would check from crawl space to attic.I knew that the quality of service was going to come down to the exterminator that was going to show up and not so much the name.
