The technician that came out today to help us with our rodent issue, Bradford Gamron, was extremely professional and courteous! He helped us understand the process and was extremely knowledgeable - giving us additional tips and advice to resolve our pesky rodent issue. Have been using this company for regular bug prevention service on a scheduled quarterly basis for a while now. No complaints! They are accommodating if the scheduled service day doesn’t work, provide advance notice of their arrival on the scheduled service day and have live people you can reach by phone if need be. Technicians have all been polite. I would have no problem referring them to family & friends.

Marguees was amazing. He let me know when he was a half hour away. He checked in with me and discussed what my concerns were and explained his process for extermination. He spent a lot of time and care inspecting my home parameters. He cleaned up the spider webs and even sprayed some fly bait to help with all the flies in my yard. He has amazing customer service skills and does a thorough job. Definitely recommend

Ricardo was extremely responsive, texted us 30 minutes before he arrived and again 10 minutes before. Came prepared with everything we needed for two interior extermination requests. He took the time to listen to us carefully before beginning his work and communicated with us throughout the service to ensure we understood his activities. We are always so pleased with the professional communications, not only is Ricardo extremely polite but same with all the other technicians we have met. They encourage us to reach out to them personally for any interim concerns between treatments. Aptive is the best pest control service we have ever used

Robert Miles provided a great experience. He was kind, on time, and efficient. Since we started using this service about a year ago, we’ve had no issues whatsoever. No pests and our plants, bees, and birds haven’t been impacted.

These guys are great. D informs me when he is coming out, shows up on time and is very friendly. He came out with Isaac. They removed 2 rats and always reminds me if something comes up between visits to just call and they will come out! They even offer to help take my trash cans out or bring back in for trash day! Great service. I have recommended them to my neighbor who is also happy with the service.

It's hard to say what was completed or not. I always ask for a phone call or text letting me know when the next service will be in 3-4 days, and it rarely happens. As it didn't happen again for this service, I was not able to confirm that any service occurred. 😕 In the past service technicians have "completed" their services in less than 7 minutes. Others have taken the time and care needed to do a thorough job knocking down cobwebs, adding extra treatment to heavily warranted areas, and setup properly preventive treatments, etc. Occasionally they will ask if I have any concerns. Without prior notice of their arrival, I either don't have the time to go over any, not there for the service, or haven't had the opportunity to get my requests together. So overall this service is "meh" at best.

I have been using Aptive for several years now. They replaced my Orkin annual contract and have maintained equivalent results at about half the price. They are professional and highly responsive. I do highly recommend them as a go to bug removal firm! Since I live on an ant hill and am tormented by bees and scorpions, I have to choose my bug zappers carefully!

We have two dogs and they will often remind us to keep dogs and kids inside an extra half hour when they are done for their protection. Problems with the hardest smallest critters that are not only disgusting but very unhealthy floating around specially the deepest of the night crawling in my kitchen, had a few exterminators before that didn't solve the problem , came the savior of them all -Aptive had a plan that prevented and eliminated the toughest and nastiest creatures . Of course it will not happen overnight , i stuck with the plan and follow it religiously and the miracle happened, were roach free my friends and neighbors, thanks to Aptiv and their helpful and very attentive - professional technicians and customer support. The technician, Sergio Sanchez, did a really great job. He texted when he was on the way. He arrived on time and checked in with me first to go over the areas I especially wanted treated. He was professional and seemed to understand my concerns. When I mentioned that we sometimes have an ant problem in the kitchen and master bathroom, he went back to his truck and brought me two "jell traps" for those areas. He did a careful job of treating the outside of our house. When done, he again checked in with me to let me know what he found and the details of what he did. I really appreciate this personal touch.

The team afterwards were great at communicating their arrival and were fantastic about identifying problem areas for us. We have an old house and it was riddled with bugs and black widow spiders, especially in our garage where the kids sometimes play. We’re a month into the service and have already noticed a huge difference. No spiders anymore and we can tell the barrier is working because other pests we normally have are not making it through.

It’s been harder to get a hold of anyone at Aptive and the response time to schedule a services is much longer than it used to be. Very happy with this service. The company lets you know well in advance when they can stop by and communicates with you the day of as well. Edgar Castillo performed our service and went above and beyond with placing ant bait and pellets as well as the traditional spray for spiders and other insects. LeRoy went above and beyond spraying for bugs and spiders! My front door lock broke and I couldn't get out my front door. LeRoy saw the problem I was having trying to get out and came to the rescue. He grabbed a hammer out of his truck and sprung the door and removed the broken lock for me. What took LeRoy only a few minutes to fix sure helped his handicapped customer, me, from getting more frustrated and painful just trying to get out my door! We were invaded by ants - I'm talking B horror movie invasion. All hope was lost, I called Aptive. Jose Bonilla came the next day (seriously, less than 24 hours from when I called) and talked me through the process of exterminating them. I'm not saying he's a superhero, but basically it's like Iron Man showed up and killed all the ants. No more ants - they're gone. Jose was super knowledgable and professional and, most important, he got rid of the ants.

We needed a last minute treatment for some surprise ants that showed up in a trail along our bedroom windowsill. I called Aptive at 3pm and they scheduled a tech visit for the same day at 5pm. The tech, Nathaniel Jacobson, arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and was so courteous. He even made it a point to put on boot coverings before he stepped into our home. He gave a thorough explanation of what he was going to do prior to the ant treatment, then confirmed the services done after he was finished. Nathaniel made me feel like a valued customer!

I had my home's quarterly service conducted today by Steven Jimenez and he did an excellent job! He was thorough in spraying the perimeter of my home and yard, around the pool and planters. He also sprayed the inside of my garage at my request. He took care in removing any and all spiderwebs around patio furniture, porch and patio lights and eaves. He conducted a careful inspection and found some bug nests in a couple of very high eaves. He promptly scheduled for someone with longer poles to come out and get rid of those. He also suggested installing a rodent box in the corner of my yard which I was very happy about. Steven was one of the best techs to ever service my home. Thank you.

Everything was fine until my husband told me the tech explained that the rodent control boxes had a bait in it that would thin their blood to kill them later. The salesman told me they only use snap traps with pheromone attractant, because poison was illegal in California. Because they don't use poison, I asked for rodent control to be added. When I learned that was not true, I went out at 12am to get the box out of the yard. I have pets and have lost a dog to rat poison previously. I also don't want any dangerous chemicals dispersing into the local ecosystem from my yard. I'm left to assume that some or all of the info the salesperson relayed was false.

Glad that I use them. August 11, 2020 Had service on the regular quarterly time frame. Evan was the person who did the service. He texted me ahead of his arrival stating he would be there in about 30 to 40 minutes. He arrived within the stated time frame and knocked on the door. We talked about what was being observed and what he would be doing. He let me know they were expanding the border due to summer and the higher temperatures. He then went to work with his partner on cleaning spider webs around the outside of the house and spraying as he had stated. After he completed service, he texted me again to let me know he was done. Very professional and thorough. Great job! 10 out of 10.

The first time a salesman came knocking on my door I was a bit hesitant in using a pest control company. He caught me on a day I had a huge ant invasion in doors. I signed up for the service and the tech they sent was extremely polite, cordial and explained the process of everything they do. Every service person who has come since has also exhibited the same level of professionalism and courtesy. I can honestly say in the two years of using their service, I have never seen another ant in the house and I can count on one hand the spiders I have seen around my perimeter. Miscommunication between the office and service tech. My appointment for today was a time frame from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Nobody called and they didn't come on time. I called the office and gave them my time frame that they had given me. The office told me that the service tech would call me in a few minutes to tell me what time he'd be there. No call, and it's after 1:00 pm. I called again and got someone else and she contacted service tech who said he'd be there in the next two hours ! He arrived at 2:30 pm and told him my appointment was for 8-12. He said he did not know and they mistakenly scheduled it for "anytime". He showed me on his phone. Jerry the service tech was very thorough and explained to me everything he was going to. He was great ! Not so much, the office ! When I gave them a time that he was supposed to be there they should have told me they did not have it listed correctly !

Yesterday the technician came and sprayed around the house cleaned all the cobwebs and put out rodent boxes. He was very informal about the work that he did and what to expect. He also explained that I could call at any time to get answers or someone out to help. The day before yesterday Austin came to the door which was pretty darn neat to not have to look for someone to do my dirty work. Overall this company has been so polite and generous with their time. I don't know about the cost but I know that if I did the work he did, I would charge the same amount personally.

I’ve been using Aptive Yard Service for several years. Over the years the number of visits per year has changed in the contacts, what has remained consistent is they will come out between visits if you experience any issues with spiders, ants, fleas, silverfish, or any number of cwawlies included on their contract list. I have had periods of consistency with the same technician, I really appreciated that as we got to know one another and knew my problem areas and what to pay attention to. I don’t know the inner workings of Aptive, but from a customer I could tell there had been big changes a few years ago. More automation came in, I was visited (a few times) by door to door Aptive salesmen even though I was already a customer, the website changed, and I hardly ever see a technician more then twice and rarely in a row. It seems it’s always a new face every visit, saying that I must say a majority of the time I find the technicians to be very respectful, conscientious, and hard working. Most do listen to my concerns and really try to address my needs, offer advice and assistance. I have had a minor few that did a poor job, but that was in the minority.

I have been doing business with Aptive for 5 years now and they have been helpful with my bug issues as I live right next to hill. My one complaint is that their customer service do not always follow up with customer requests or complaints. Every year the pincher bug/Earwig problem at my house gets worse. I typically will have to call to have someone come back out to spray the inside of the house. I called and made my request for them to come back out and was told they would send someone out the following week. Luckily I did not hold my breathe or else i would be dead. They never showed up. I was then sent a survey to fill out regarding my call to customer service. I clearly put in there my dissatisfaction with the lack of follow up with my request. Fast forward a few weeks later, no one has called me to follow up with my survey complaint. No surprise there. My quarterly service just came up and Jerry Saenz was the individual that came to do the service. Jerry was very professional and heard out my concerns with a smile. He quickly offered to spray all of the inside for me and apologized for the inconvenience. I am disappointed in the leadership and management that no one every reached out to me or even tried to fix it. That is basic management or leadership 101. First visit so the review is for the technicians and not necessarily the quality of the service, as I won’t know until some time had passed and they come back for the mosquito treatment. The two guys that treated our house were polite and professional. They made sure to answer my questions before they started work and advised when they were done and leaving. My only issue, which has nothing to do with them, is that the mosquito treatment isn’t until the next visit in 20-40 days. One- I did not know that there would be a delay for this service and two- with the weather getting warmer, we are already feeling mosquitos when we are in the backyard at night.

Sarah at customer service could not give me. A direct answer as to shy or how this happened. Hopefully the quarterly charges will go much smoother so we’ll find out. Other than the billing issues, the service was very well explained to me and before leaving, gave me recommendations as to what to do to prevent future pests from coming in. I have this excellent company come and spray on the outside and inside of my house for pest control. It includes the inside of my garage, and the inside spray is made differently that the outside spray - an environmentally safe substance made from a plant(s) that naturally inhibit the pests but also allow me to not have to leave the premises. We like the service. It seems to work pretty well so far. We made an appointment to re-treat the house after seeing a few spiders. Problem was, they weren’t too quick with scheduling for retreating. He went above and beyond to clean all of the spider webs on our furniture, fencing and landscaping. I was quite impressed at how thorough he did his job, a true professional! He then sprayed around my entire house as well as the perimeter of the property. I can feel safe that our insect problem will be gone for a while.
