The products and services work when they are actually fully applied; when the technician actually arrives. Unfortunately, the actual "service" and quality of it has declined over the past several months of our contract with Orkin. Our newest technician (who makes uncomfortable comments as he applies product) often doesn't arrive on time, occasionally not at all, and even once left while we were sitting in the driveway without even approaching us. Yet, with all of these times, services were marked as rendered and payment was automatically withdrawn. I have asked for a new technician on more than one occasion, but one haa not been offered. It appears that we will be having to get new service from a different company.

Edit: This past appointment went alot better. The product used seems to be working quite well. Hopefully our issues will be resolved in a few weeks. We had an awesome first experience, however our follow ups have been terrible. I scheduled 1 appointment no call no show. Called and rescheduled the guy showed up and said he wasn't prepared to spray for us and did nothing. I had to call and schedule another appointment, which he was late to show up to. He then again said he didn't have the proper spray and also didn't have the time to spray as we needed. So again no help at all. We have another appointment scheduled for this coming Thursday, this is my last attempt to get the service that we are needing!

I feel like maybe this was a ok service but I feel like I was mislead a little bit on my first service but the guy said he will come back out next week to ensure the area is sealed off where he believed the rodent's are coming in and that is what I was told would happen today but it didn't. So right now I'm still not comfortable with the service or the amount of money I had to pay but I'm praying they rectify my concerns And if so then I can change my review! .

The exterminator was very professional, thorough, and friendly. He had treated for a flea infestation back in September and October and he inquired about the situation. I told him I hadn’t seen any more. As of September, I switched my pest control from Terminix to Orkin.

I use Orkin all the time. This time, however, the guy was here maybe 10 minutes. We have the fruit fly in the sink problem that happens occasionally, and I was going to ask him to spray like he did last time. He was already gone. Didn't even check my room. My son said he didn't spray the perimeter. Put nuggets down and left some traps. I know they're busy, but I don't like feeling like they rushed through my service.

Great service! I was skeptical at first because you don't see huge results immediately. But by the third treatment I realized that it was alot better, and by the fifth I started to understand it was really working! I live near the woods/swamp so I thought it was a lost cause, constantly being dive-bombed by hornets and wasps every time I walked outside and carpenter bees drilling 100s of holes weekly. Now I see a wasp or 2 and hornets that come down from the trees to drink my pool water.. and that's it! It's probably a hard profession to convince consumers that a product/service is working only based on what you DON'T see. That being said, that's why I took the time to leave the review. It works and it keeps them away! Highly recommend.

The only reason I’m giving 5 stars is because our pest guy Daniel Wilson is phenomenal. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and professional. After one time coming by my house, I asked if he could request that I just stay on his route in the future because I generally don’t like different people coming in and out of my home, and Daniel struck me as a trustworthy person. He has been coming by ever since and provides a great service to us and it makes up for the shortcomings of Orkin’s management and customer service reps.

Received excellent service from the applicator. Courteous, respectful and informative. Customer Service said that they would take care of me much better than the way I was treated with a company I intended to go with before calling Orkin, and so far they have been true to their word. Last month I got text that they “were on their way “. First notice!!! I sent a return text that said I was not at home and would have to reschedule. Got another text that told me I would have to call my local dealer and let them know this. They at least did provide a local Tele link. I called them and got a robo recording. Never got a confirmation text and when I returned home had a computerized invoice in my front door about what services they had provided. I only have a cockroach extermination contact with them so tomorrow I will call them and discuss these services.

I would never use orkin again because of Jason whatever his name was in Clinton Arkansas. He gives a good talk but can’t back it up. I always loved orkin until now. I need to talk to the supervisor immediately. I don’t want to ever use them again after this visit and previous visits. He just made the roaches worse. I’m very upset because we denied the “paid for visit to select orkin and y’all have let me down. I always loved you guys until now. I’ve used y’all several times and never had a issue I only had you come out one time each house I lived in. Y’all used to be excellent. But I’m done now.

Completely impressed with Orkin! We had a wasp issue, so I called and they came out the NEXT day to take care of it. They also take care of other pests (ants, spiders, centipedes, cockroaches, etc)! Steve Comer was the one that took care of us and he was very thorough, explained everything in great detail and did a fantastic job! Again, can't stress enough how impressed I am with not only their service, but the time it took them to come out and get it done!

I think I called around to 3 other pest control company’s close to midnight because I noticed something had been munching on items under my sink and then I saw the droppings. Every one was closed or wouldn’t get back to me until the next day, which I figured, but I was relieved to see that Orkin was open late; til midnight actually and I could get someone on the phone to set an appointment right away. They were able to send someone out a day later. Sam and Robert were very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. They did not waste time making sure I was informed and knew my options moving forward with the best kid and pet friendly options in mind. I was hoping to initially be able to rate Orkin higher, but the damage that was caused to my home during an attic insulation install and the lack of trying to get it fixed (after a month and only one person came out to quote the damage thus far and no word at all since). I have had a horrible experience and plan on taking this up with the better business bureau if these issues don't get solved. During the install someone fell through my ceiling. While raking the old insulation a wire was disconnected from my attic for my livingroom (so now my livingroom has no power to the outlets and its 7 that were working during the raking in other areas). So far only the ceiling has been quoted and the branch manager has yet to send over an electrician for my outtage. Like I said, I was going to give this a good rating, but the lack of taking care of the damage caused is what is not sitting well with this customer. Update 2/28/2022 The damage was fixed and I’m very pleased with the effort on their part to fix the issue. The branch manager was very helpful in making sure that things got done in timely manner! We don’t think that just one issue that arises makes the company in its self bad at all! We love the service that we receive from ORKIN and will continue to use their services!

Everyone from the woman that answered the phone, booked my appointment, found discounts for me, because I was panicking about the bugs my landlord refused to even help with, Till the technician arrived, inspected, sprayed, and left, went exactly as they said it would. 😮‍💨 Very pleased. UPDATE #1: After my call to the Customer Service Center, the branch office called me back in less than 2 hours. It turns out that my appointment had been changed by the computer system and didn't notify the office or I. The local office was very accommodating to fixing the situation and provided good customer service. so I have changed from 1 star to 5 stars based upon the customer service. I will update on the actual service received after the initial visit. ORIGINAL POST: I called in and signed up for the yearly service. On the day of the appointment, I was at home the entire day, but no one showed up or called. I called back the next day and the CS Rep stated that the appointment had been moved almost two weeks. I asked why no one had called, and the CS Rep couldn't answer. She tried to call the branch location and they didn't answer her call. The CS Rep stated that she would have them call me, but the branch location never called (a week and a half later). I am not slamming all of Orkin - all of the customer service reps I spoke to were great. However, no call - no show as a business practice is not the way to represent Orkin.

Orkin came out because squirrels chewing on central air unit wiring. Not true, they found no chewing. Yay! Some of my crawlspace vents were old, and screen in them missing & brittle. They made an appointment to replace all vents that automatically open & close. They are sleek & gorgeous. They also replaced my deteriorating wooden crawlspace door with a sleek new steel door. They were respectful, kind, on time, & friendly. It was Darius & his helper, can't remember his name. I wish I owned my own business, so I could hire them away from Orkin. They are that good!! My door needed extra work, due to yard level issues. Great problem solving skills as well. I love a company that works hard for us!! After completion, Darius walked me around the entire job, to make sure if I had any concerns. The job was great, to call him if any issues! Thanks guys for a job well done & the utmost in professionalism!! So happy.

We had a SEVERE Gnat issue after moving into our house that apparently started after my spouse used the shower in our third bathroom that we never use…the inspector said a gnat probably laid eggs…and the water made them hatch, but Orkin had them fully gone within treatments after about three months.

So today evening we were visited by Mr. Stacey Bearden for their quarterly service. Before meeting us, he examined the outside of the house for any trails of ants and other bugs. Even though Mr. Bearden would have had a long tiring day, offering his services to 17 homes, as he said-our being 18th, and may be 2 more to go, he made sure there was no compromise in the service he provided. He not only treated the problem areas, but also cleaned each and every spider web that could be spotted around out house. When highlighted the issue of fire ants, he deep checked the yards to make sure nothing got missed out. This, if asked to me, was by far the best service we got. Thanks Mr. Bearden.

Robert and Rick were attentive and amazing. They reviewed my home, addressed my concerns and even helped with removing pots and pans because I was afraid to open the cabinets. They showed me a uv flashlight and how to spot trails of urine from pests and also how they even managed to get into my home. I was embarrassed because I’m so clean and try to keep my home as clean as possible but they immediately set me at ease. We saw how they even got in and set the traps and they reassured me it would be taken care of. Again, they were both professional and helpful. They took into account my child’s health issues and were able to explain the chemicals they were spraying and using. Thank you again for coming out and taking care of my issues!

I like Orkin. The people are always nice and when I call them in between services, they come willingly. My only complaint would be is that they have sprayed for Carpenter Bees at my house 2-3 times and the bees are still here. The bees were not phased at all. If someone says a product will work then it should work, but in this particular case it didn't.

I really,really love this pest control company(ORKIN) because I don't c any waterbugs, cockroaches, or spiders and I'm sooooo happy. Whatever type of chemicals Orkin uses it definitely works, without a doubt. I would recommend Orkin to all of my family and friends. Orkin service is above and beyond! My family was first introduced to Orkin and Mr. Steven Comer, Pest Control Route Manager in 2005. Mr. Comer was very informative and helpful and kept our home pest free! We moved out of state in 2012 because of family emergency. Currently, we moved back into our home and immediately wanted to continue business with Orkin. We tried fighting the problem on our own which didn't work and was a waste of money. So glad I called Orkin. It took a few months to clear up our bug problem but man they are GONE. Orkin comes once every two months to treat our home, and it only costs me about $40 a month, totally worth it.
