We have been using HomeShield for close to 2 years now and the results have been great! The house we live in was built in the 1970s. Before we started using HomeShield’s services, bugs, spiders, silverfish, etc. were fairly common fines inside our home. Literally, there was a period of several weeks when we first moved in where I killed 1-2 big spiders every. single. day. Now that we use HomeShield, I very rarely ever see any spiders, bugs, insects, etc. inside our home. I honestly don’t even remember the last time I saw a live spider in my house. It has been a great investment! The folks ant HomeShield are very responsive and professional, too. There have been several occasions where I have called to reschedule our service the day it was supposed to happen or when I have even asked them to send someone back out to service the inside of our home (we always do the perimeter and outdoor seating areas). Not once has anyone there ever been even remotely rude or short or annoyed or bothered despite my last minute changes and requests. Everyone I have spoken to is always very friendly, understanding, accommodating, and willing to work with me, my wife, and our busy schedule to ensure that they provide us with great service. Alek was our technician today for our bi-monthly spider/ant spray. Last night we found out we also have a rodent issue inside the house. Alek took the time to take a look at our kitchen (where we found droppings), set out some traps and gave us tips on how to go forward. I am incredibly nervous around mice/rats but he absolutely helped my nerves and went the extra mile for us. I've found this company on Yelp and noticed very high marks regarding their services, etc...I have 3 small dogs...always barking their heads off when they see strangers. However, Elvin Ware, the inspector was fabulous. I have already reviewed this service on other websites but feel it is also warranted on Google. My wife and I chose Homeshield for our pest removal services and we could not have been more pleased we have had the same technician Jonathon for the last three visits and he has been more than professional. He answers all of my wives questions with patience (She fears spiders), and has done an excellent job of keeping the spiders and other bugs which as we know in Orange County we very bad this last summer away and out of our home. The office always does a great job of working with scheduling our appointments and Jonathon has always been in the window of time promised. UPDATE May 21st: I was contacted on Friday morning by Sebastian, who was so polite and apologetic for the customer service and the job not being finished. He came out mid-morning to review the job and assured me someone would be out to fix it by the end of the day. Around 3pm someone showed up and worked until almost 6pm replacing all the roof tiles so that it would be complete for our baby shower. Sebastian came at the end of the job to make sure everything was taken care of and even brought a present for the baby. Sebastian is really good at his job and great representative for HomeShield. It’s a shame the inspector and office personnel didn’t have his customer service and professionalism. May 20th: Do not use this company for home inspection for termite damage when buying or selling a home. They stipulate that cannot assess second story eves and facia by probing and failed to identify several spots of damage. They never got on a ladder, only visual inspection. After being in our home for four months we are repainting and the painters found three spots of significant termite damage. They sent someone out to do courtesy repairs (Thursday). However the inspector did not write the correct materials or repairs needed so the service man who showed up did not have the wood or man power to complete the services in one day. They left half the job finished and my roof tiles off. I was assured they would be back the next day (Friday) to complete the work. I was then contacted by their office and told that the earliest they can return is Tuesday. I am hosting my baby shower at my home on Sunday and my house looks terrible and the roof tiles are still off. I was told there was nothing they could do to accommodate getting someone out to complete the job before the following week. We’ve owned three homes and never experienced this level of service or oversight. Very disappointing and frustrating!

Sebastian went out of his way to explain every detail of the tenting process, and Juan was the most organized and tidy person we've had work in our home. All 3 technicians we've had have been nothing but friendly, professional, and accommodating to our needs. Today Luis came to do our quarterly spraying and was very helpful and responsive to our requests regarding some ants that decided to make some of our outdoor areas their home again. While doing repairs to the house my contractor found a termite infestation and showed me the wood droppings. I immediately went on Yelp and found this company. Sebastian came out and did a free inspection while pointing out and explaining the scope of work that needed to be done. He was very informative and friendly. In no way did I feel pressured or taken advantage of compared to other pest control services I have used in the past. Best part is that the services come with a 2 year warranty! I also ended up getting the Annual Termite Protection Plan that covers drywood, subterranean, dampwood termites, wood boring beetles, carpenter ants and bees. Very professional and great customer service!!! I highly recommend!!!

Spiders and webs have become a part of my home it seems. I used to have orkin but they never solved the problem. HomeShield however, was able to turn that around. Maurice is the technician that services my property. He takes his time knocking down webs and spraying those areas a little extra so the spiders can’t form new homes. When you are stressed out because of a pest problem, they will calmly tell you "it will be all right," and then they will make it so. Winter usually slows down bugs but it forces the rodents to invade my home. I called HomeShield pest control and they sent their technician Maurice the same day and he did a very thorough inspection. He found that the rats were getting in through sub area vents and a vent on the roof. He set up traps and sealed up the holes. Now I can sleep in peace again.
