The application professional (Ian) let us know he was on the way and arrived when he anticipated which was just about the originally scheduled time. I used to work for this company 15 years ago and it is so refreshing to see that they have kept the same standards and level of expertise. Edward was right on time and pre notified me of his arrival. He openly and clearly communicated how he would be treatimg the house and addressing the issues we were having. He took his time and and even pointed out that one of my exterior vents was missing a blade or two and how i could save a potential headache with birds by replacing it. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and serivce that edward provided and would absolutely recomend ABC and his service to our friends and neighbors.

Do your research, but this is the company to choose for your pest and rodent control. A new townhouse community is being developed in an adjacent wooded field, so all these woodland creatures started relocating to our established neighborhood. I get it, this land was theirs before it was ours, but after 20 years, they had no right to move into my house rent free. The cute hares/ rabbits were ok at first. They would flop around, and the worst they would do is leave small chocolate eggs in the yard. But when we heard scurrying in the attic, our anxiety levels started to rise. We were already overwhelmed by a pipe bursting in the garage in February due to a flash freeze. Then we noticed droppings as the restoration company came and cleared out the garage. But we really didn't connect all the dots because simultaneously we were caring for my 85 year old grandmother who was on hospice care from terminal breast cancer. So our hands were a little full at the time. But when we saw evidence that there was probably a mouse or something, we had to make it a priority. I called 3 or 4 local companies for quotes. 2 came to the house and 2 acted like they could care less about actually securing my business but were willing to quote hundreds of dollars for the service. One thing that stood out was the other companies said they would plug the holes leading into the house, but 2 said they don't go into the attic. Well that's where we heard them and so it didn't make sense to not go in the attic to hunt them down. Then Kirby from ABC came out. He did a thorough inspection and designed a plan to attack the problem. They definitely weren't the cheapest company, but they provided the best proposal with the strongest warranty. So we pulled the trigger. The crew was very professional and plugged holes and set traps. And the we waited. But there were no dead mice for weeks. So they came back out and found more holes to plug. Then the rodents got more desperate. One was bold enough to entire the kitchen at night. I was ready to burn down the entire house. Frustration was level 10. By this point my grandmother had passed away. Grief plus phobia and a general sense of absolute exhaustion had settled in. All the techs that came out were nice, friendly, professional and courteous, BUT we were sick of the rats running our house. I was also frustrated by what seemed to be a long wait between reporting sightings and an available appointment time. Mark Rodriguez came out and did a good job observing the situation and he realized that a supervisor was needed for a solution. Enter Kenneth! He was absolutely amazing. Between crawling through the attic and discovering new holes to tracking down a food source (a case of mac snd cheese boxes) in the garage that my grandmother left months before her passing (she was always prepared for when her great-grandchildren came over), Kenneth understands the mind of a mouse and the rationale of a rat. He made it his mission to eliminate these evils. And one by one, he did. Kenneth is a hero in our household. He will be receiving a Christmas card this year. My grandmother's dying wish was to rid the house of these invaders, and Kenneth and his team were able to accomplish that. It was worth ever penny for the complete customer care and warranty on the work. If you are looking for a quality solution, you've found it. Be patient, because rodents can be tricky and hard to eradicate, but ABC is committed to the long haul.

Excellent service! They showed up on time and did a thorough inspection of my house, and asked alot of questions. Then sprayed around the house, doors, windows, sinks, and attic. Very happy with their service. They were there for about an hour and did a thorough job too. Felt like they were helping me figure out the problem and remedy the situation. I've had other services just spread poison everywhere and leave in about 15 minutes. Very happy with ABC plus their prices are good too!

I would definitely recommend ABC!! They were professional, courteous, and did a great job. During the treatment my blinds had to be removed, and they graciously put them back up before they left. I initially contacted ABC because I had opposums in my attic. They came out, trapped the critters, and then closed up openings so they couldn't come back. They also treated my yard and home for insects. They are professional, timely, and courteous. They may be more pricey than the competition, but they are most definitely worth it! Update…Three years later a very persistent group of raccoons were able to pull down mesh wiring that was put up to keep critters out of my attic ( they got it down because of a repair I need to make). They came out and placed more traps all for free because of my warranty! Again, I highly recommend ABC!

They were actually cheaper than many companies, and they do a the best job. Such a great value! Their technicians are knowledgeable and professional. They keep in communication about when they are on their way and are usually early, never late. I can truly notice the difference in pest levels from ABC and other companies.

Walter Garcia is my Service Technician and I've requested that I be assigned to him. Very thorough, he explained that where the termites were and now exterminated two years ago by another service, the carpenter ants have moved in, replacing them which is what usually happens. Walter explained what he found and what he sprayed for both inside and outside my home. He said he would follow up in 3 weeks to respray and reassess. Prior to ABC Home & Commercial Service we had two other air conditioning repair technicians come to our ranch. The first said our 3.5 ton unit for the guest house had a freon leak somewhere in its compressor coils, and to just get a new unit since it was so old. The cost to replace was quoted at $3,500. We bought the house four years ago and the unit never worked, so we just assumed it had been broken for a long time. The second company that came out didn't even bother to check anything and just said they would replace it for $6,500 - but, hey; they had "financing". Still not convinced, I decided to call someone with good reviews and work ethic, and that's how I came across ABC Home & Commercial Services in College Station. The people on the phone were really nice and worked with me on scheduling someone to meet my scheduling needs - not theirs. They sent out a guy named Payton who was one of the friendliest and polite technicians we ever dealt with. The first thing he informed was that the unit was actually only 9-years old and far below the typical life cycle of a heat-pump style air conditioner. Secondly, rather than speculate on what was wrong with the unit, he actually did a pressure test and found that yes, the freon level was zero - but after re-pressurizing the unit it was actually holding pressure, and did so for nearly 20 minutes. Payton said that sometimes people drain the freon from one unit to fix another, and since we had three other units on the ranch - that seemed logical. He also said people like to steal freon. So, after Payton did a full diagnostic on everything else, he flushed the systems lines and put in new freon gas. He then called and told me the good news that the system was up and running and all it ended up costing me was $600. I highly recommend ABC Home & Commercial Services and encourage people to let a reputable company like them evaluate their a/c system before plowing large sums of money for something that may not be necessary.

He texts when he is on his way and I can also text if I have any concerns or questions - or I can talk with him before he starts. His attention to detail is excellent. Again, this was a 5 star service. Bob, the landscape designer, was very collaborative and developed a terrific design. He listened to my ideas and incorporated those that would work - and explained why some would not work given my goals. He was on hand both days to ensure the team followed the design. The team was outstanding. Jose was the lead and he kept me current on what they were doing and made adjustments as needed. One of my dogs got out and he even helped me catch her. All 3 gentlemen were very professional and took pride in their work. 4/17/19 Revisited Landscape work from last May. Bob updated the plan and scheduled promptly. Had the same great team as last year. Bob was also on site and gave me more tips on managing my butterfly garden. Terrific work. Some plant replacement (my dogs damaged); braced a tree, pruned, weeded, mulched. Same excellent service and value for the money spent.

Great people, but I was still left with Ants after two treatments. I was told they can't do anything about them, because these are bugs that live in the ground. When ABC wanted to put me on a quarterly I asked why would I want to go on a quarterly if your product is only lasting two to three weeks for some bugs (the ground wasps and cicada killers are gone for now)? Start getting a pretty bad problem with cockroaches, 2 different types, the worst kind. My neighbor used ABC so I talked to Adrian Adrian set up an appointment they called me he came out he treated for the roaches in the problem areas. After the 1st treatment started noticing a difference almost immediately. The roaches were so bad it was really creeping me out and it seems as though the problem has been solved. I am paying for recurring service every other month, today he came again and treated for the 2nd time for roaches l and pulled out the fridge notice there was a bunch of dead ones and possibly an old nest, he focused on that area and I feel very optimistic that I am no longer going to see roaches in my town house. If you can get past the initial setup (my sales and customer service experience in the beginning, 7 years ago, was miserable and the ONLY reason I didn't give full 5 stars) I think you will be very happy. The service technicians are amazing! They send the same tech everytime (when possible) so you are familiar with them and they with you and your individual needs. After switching from another company where I experienced awful service, I am quite pleased with my ABC service and technicians. I had termite boxes in the ground put in by the other company and they’d been monitoring them during my routine visits. When I started repairs on my home my contractor discovered that I had active termites the whole time. The contractor came out immediately to give me an estimate. Apparently, the family of mice were able to come in through small little gaps in the garage. The contractor sealed all the gaps and placed little traps in the attic and through out. The contractor came back three days later and then a week later. He did not find any mice or droppings in or near the traps. Sealing the gaps in the garage did the trick! I’m very pleased with ABC. I started using ABC for our lawn fertilization. Then I started using them for our pest control and mosquito system, because they were a great value for their service. We soon realized that we had bats living in our attic. We called them for letting the bats out and sealing our attic and they did it at a much more reasonable rate than the bat specialists. I had a problem with the Big Tree roaches getting in my house and I am incredibly afraid of those nasty things. There were a few bumps in the road with their service at the beginning but I am extremely impressed with their service and how they quickly take care of any mixups. I've been very happy and have even increased my services with them. I was a little skeptical since they are a big advertiser but I'm confident enough now to recommend them. I have been using ABC for about a year and a half and it has been the best long term investment for my home so far. I have used the yard care and air conditioning services so far and intend to employee more services in the future. The yard care has been outstanding. There were a couple of times the service was substandard, and that was only discovered because the company came to do Quality Control and determined the work had not been done properly. This was quickly corrected. The next thing was when a friend was hurt badly in an accident and I ask ABC to begin working on his home under my account...WHILE I WAS IN AFRICA! The Manager and I were able to coordinate this effort with no problems and now my friend has employed ABC himself because he was so happy with the efforts. Then just last week I was having an air conditioning problem identified by my house sitter while on vacation in Colorado. The AC staff sent out a technician while I was away, who made regular phone contact with me when my phone worked, corrected the issues and recommended other actions that will be performed later. This was billed to my current account without my house sitter worrying about paying a bill that was not theirs. I also use the pest control team, and I have not seen a bug or rodent since I began using them. ABC is my one stop shop for all the home care needs I have, and I wouldn't use ANYONE else to help with the long term care of my home.

In all fairness, I have had issues with ABC like some of those mentioned below. Their pest control contracts are opaque, at best, and I had an unexpected surprise, too. However, when it counts, ABC is the best around. I had an A/C issue at my house. After calling another lying, crook, shyster company (Abacus), getting a ripoff price quote with virtually no inspection, I called ABC. The tech came out and was extremely friendly. He thoroughly checked everything out, explained and SHOWED it to me. Their prices were a fraction of the other guys for exactly the same repairs. Not to mention, the tech was one of those guys you actually wanted to do business with. Every time I deal with an ABC tech, every SINGLE time, they are super nice and very competent. They have a few issues in the back of the house, but on the front line, their service can't be beat. I trust these guys to help me when I need it - big props.

Never in a million years would I ever had thought I'd prefer a larger company over a mom and pop but I can tell you that I tried going the DIY route, I tried a small company and never have I been more wrong because it totally pays off to have the experienced pros with many resources to help attack a bad insect problem. We got the very best results with ABC than we could have expected. We had an old renovated 1960's ranch home and had problems with those big tree roaches coming in the house to die. That's my biggest nightmare! I absolutely despise those bugs! They promised that if we stayed the course and did their recommended service that we would be able to take care of the issue. They were right! They accomplished what no one else could do and get rid of our bug issue. They also helped us find holes and openings where they could be entering from. We have moved since and now we have a newer house that doesn't have the same issues but we still are so grateful to them because we did get ghost ants and called them outside of our normal scheduled service and they came out, put out traps and fixed the problem. On another occasion a student moved in with us from an apartment and unknowingly brought a few little critters with him. Immediately called ABC to get someone out in between services and they nipped that problem in the bud. I couldn't be happier having ABC as my partner in any bug fight. I am super happy with them, their knowledge, their service and expertise on anything you might be dealing with. I highly recommend them to everyone and have sent them many customers.

Had them remove some squirrels. I didn't want them to repair or replace the facia and soffit boards when they were done but they left the hole open when they removed the cages letting squirrels back in. They could have covered the hole with the wire screen that was used when they set the cages. They also dont call you to schedule appointments so you can be there to let them in. They just send you a text or email showing when they are coming out. Update: ABC did call me back after i posted my initial review and they told me they went back and listened to the voice recording when i called in for the service. They said they understood where the misunderstanding came from about covering the hole in the house. They decided not to charge me for the second half of the service and they offered to come back out and set traps again but i had already removed the squirrels. I appreciate them for investigating the miscommunication and they seemed concerned about the issue. If i need something in the future i would call them again.

Two guys came out and did an initial treatment inside and outside my house for insects. They said they saw alot of bug activity outside and it looked like it hasn't been treated in ages. They brushed and sprayed the outside of the house to get down all the spiderwebs and nest. We just moved into our house and have lived here about 3 weeks. I knew we had bugs because there was alot of spider webs and spiders inside. The guys were both nice and communicated with me on when they were going to be here. Jason usually comes every 2 months for pest control; he is very nice and professional; always asks if there is any thing in particular. I have video surveillance around my house and can tell you with confidence that he does spray all the way around the house and treat the yard if there are ants. I get an advanced notice and then notice day of with picture of who's coming. Love that! This is, hand's down, the best pest control company I have every worked with. The initial visit (which was years ago) they sealed the house from outside pest incursion with spray sealant, wire mesh, ect. I pay a fee every 2 months and have called in between their regular visits and don't get charged; they put a cage in the attic and sealed the house where a large animal had gotten in through the soffit outside. We don't have any bugs to speak of in the house; might see a spider every once in a great while but that's it. We used to get a mouse when it got cold every year but we haven't even gotten that in maybe 5 years or more (I can't really remember as it's been a long time). They are great and I have referred them to family and friends.

Ronnie, the irrigation tech was extremely friendly and went above and beyond in taking the time to explain and show the problems that my system was having to me. He worked for hours at getting the problems fixed and was professional and courteous the entire time. Even at 8:00 in the evening, well past the time most would want to wrap up, he took the time to explain the operation of our system and double checked to make sure everything worked well. Ronnie was outstanding.

He paid special attention to problem areas. He even removed a large hidden wasp's nest which we didn’t know about. Highly recommend.

I called yesterday for a “touch up” pest control treatment. My quarterly appointment isn’t due for another month or so but I’ve had a few tree roach sightings inside. Yuck. ABC had a technician available for me today. Xavier texted with a 30 minute arrival notice and arrived in the indicated time frame. He was polite and answered all my questions. He treated my house in all the key areas and was quick and efficient. He said that the service was no charge and to let them know if I had any additional issues or concerns before my next scheduled service. Thanks Xavier and ABC.
