Highly recommend Kilauea Pest Control! We've been using them for about a little over a year and they do a great job at keeping out any unwanted pests (which can be hard living right on the canal). From the start of my interaction with Kilauea, Ashley was accommodating, and we discussed the different services most appropriate for my problem. The scheduling was flexible and convenient as they could come out the following day. She seemed very knowledgeable and answered all my questions, and she was very friendly and patient, which is appreciated too. Thanks to my techs Eddie C. and Ray R, they arrived on time and were professional and courteous the entire visit. We were able to explain our pest problem. They assessed the property and explained exactly what would be done. They were thorough, and Eddie also identified a termite issue, educating my husband and me on treatment options. What stood out to me is that he did not pressure us to add on a termite service but welcomed taking the information he provided and even shopping around to compare. I appreciated that because I wasn't left feeling obligated but instead well-informed. Also, after they left, I sent a text concerned about it starting to rain and how that would affect the exterior treatment. They responded quickly and put my concerns to ease. I look forward to keeping service with Kilauea and highly recommend it to anyone. It matters when their workers uphold integrity, are highly knowledgeable, and treat customers right.

My daughter was bitten by a centipede in the middle of the night while she was sleeping. Needless to say, it was a terrifying experience. Trevor came out the day after we contacted Kilauea Pest Control. Not only did he treat our property, but he also educated me about the different types of centipedes in Hawaii and showed me pictures of the type that is poisonous. Eddie Cintron followed up on a previous visit due to rain that day. I asked him to assist with an ant problem in the kitchen. He put down gel-like pesticide at all the entry areas and even at the high ceiling and cabinet to breakup the suspected ant trails. He sprayed the same areas and throughout the kitchen. I have been with Kilauea Pest for many years and they continue to keep my home pest free. And they will redo, free of charge, if there continues to be a problem from an earlier visit. When I had a pest problem, I called different businesses as soon as I could. One different company hung up on me. When I called this one, Ashley was great and very knowledgeable. She sent me alot of information, got a team for me the next day on short notice, and followed up with me. The team that came was Eddie, BJ, and Maika. They were great. I am waiting for the results, but what I can say is that they really knew what they were talking about, they were nice and professional, and they were fast. Although I didnt follow the checklist to a T, they made it work. I recommend this business from what I have seen.

Since I've been using Kilauea Pest Control, I've seen a drastic decrease in paper wasps around my house and no ants or cockroaches inside the house whatsoever. Maika was very professional and courteous. He let me know what my options were for today's service (I have a service plan with them) and he provided his recommendation. I really appreciated that he mentioned the humidity outside and that the treatment may take longer to dry because of the humid conditions. Even though the treatment is non-toxic to my dogs, I appreciated that Maika was thoughtful about my dog's health and provided me that information. I highly recommend them and Maika provided excellent service.

I've been with this company for years and have never had any complaints with the service. Trevor came out at short notice today and was extremely professional and friendly. He addressed all of the problems (centipedes, ants, and roaches) and was quite thorough in covering both the exterior and interior of the home. How impressed I was with the knowledge and expertise that my technician Eddie brought to my home! He was able to educate me as to what habits of mine were allowing cockroaches to gain a foothold, and what I needed to do to eliminate those problems, while guiding his young apprentice Trevor. It’s clear that both technicians are passionate about their work, and that’s refreshing to see! I was referred by one of my neighbors.. In turn, today I was able to introduce Eddie and Trevor to my new next door neighbor.. One accepts that dealing with cockroaches is just part of living in this Island paradise.. Had a hard time finding a company to treat my powder post beetle problem but Kilauea Pest Control came out immediately and gave me a quote and set up the treatment day immediately. Dave came out and I cannot give him enough praise...so knowledgeable and did such a thorough job. He is totally dedicated in doing his job well and he was also neat and clean. He is a real asset to Kilauea Pest Control. I highly recommend them if you have a powder post beetle problem and most certainly ask for Dave to do the job. Second review....Dave came today to recheck his work on my powder post beetle infestation treated with orange oil done 28 days ago. As usual, he did an excellent job. I have done 3 tenting with different companies for this powder post beetle problem and he is the first to do a great job with the orange oil. I highly recommend using Kilauea and asking for Dave to do the work.

He went above and beyond what other technicians have done and asked us to close our windows so he could spray around the window sills and under the eaves. NO one has done that before. We were noticing a roach pest issue and called Kilauea Pest Control to come exterminate. We called a few places and their rates were the best priced. Eddie, who came to the house for the pest control was both personal and very knowledgeable on pest control. We were worried about our white wood floors and tiles but he reassured us that everything they use was odorless and colorless and wouldn’t leave a stain. He was very thorough in his spraying and treatment inside and outside to make sure he didn’t miss a spot. At the end, he gave us information on what to expect as well as the aftercare for pest control. He also gave us good advise on future prevention methods. We felt confident in the efficient extermination and pest control conducted by the professional staff at Kilauea Pest control. Thanks again!

Steven and Eddie were very patient and listened to the issues and found the best solution for it. The schedulers however, skipped us two times in the past 6 month. The first time they skipped us they kept insisting that each two payment we paid are still translating into one service. But we usually get service the first month out of the two and we didn’t get service for 3 month - yes, it doesn’t mess up your billing cycle but my house was left with no protection for a whole month. Until the most recent time, they skipped us again, they agreed to credit us. So, overall, good service you receive at the house. But make sure you call them to schedule otherwise you will be skipped and they WILL argue with you on the phone.

It is hard to find people who would offer to do more for no extra cost, or who just do things because they care about their customers. Well, I found one with Kilauea Pest Control. Eddie C was that one person with his partner BJ U. They inspected the whole house, told me what was needed, carefully found areas which I needed to be patched, fixed those areas, set up the traps with baits on them, and made sure I was satistfied before leaving.

I was not home when Neth did the initial pest control treatment. My boyfriend said he was very thorough and found hidden colonies. We had the treatment done on 11/9/2021 and I have only seen about 5 roaches (baby ones) since. Before Neth came out, there were tons of roaches in ever drawer and every cabinet in the kitchen and we kept our kitchen light on from sun down to sun up. We are very happy with his service, we even tipped him $20.00 and would like Neth to come out monthly to fulfill our year contract.

Super happy with Kilauea Pest Control and Manu, their outstanding rep, who visited our home today. We've had minor termite issues in the past, and recently began seeing termites in the kitchen and outside the house. I freaked and called Kilauea Pest Control thinking I needed to have the house tented. I expected a large estimate and several days worth of effort. Manu calmly explained that termites were swarming this time of year and there is no way to tell where they come from...unless you find the droppings inside the home. Manu told us to wait and watch for droppings or mud tunnels. IF that happened, THEN call them back and they would immediately take care of the issue. No upselling, no pressure for baits or sprays.
