My technician (Andy Benjamin) did a TERRIFIC job of alerting me well ahead of time (i.e., not just the day of or the day before). He outlined what was planned to do and then arrived when he said he would, with a phone call ahead of time too. He then followed up with comments about the job, what he did and what he found (nothing). I'm very happy to have Teminex continuing to "work my property" to ensure it is pest free. I'm pleased too at the professionalism displayed by Andy and appreciate how well he does the task and represents the Company.

We live in Putnam Valley, NY - last summer they kept missing appointments for mosquito & tick service that we were paying for monthly. I called and spoke twice with a rep for over TWO HOURS and still Terminix did nothing, they didn’t care less when I canceled that service and switched to Lawn Doctor (more reliable). And, make sure you never need them in an emergency, their earlier appointments are always weeks out. Consider them as maintenance only, for which they provide decent service when they keep their own appointments. They have resolved a carpenter ant problem for us in the past, but it was really stressful getting them to get a technician out here.

Very responsive, professional and courteous. Explained specifics and would personally conduct a two week follow up. Have not seen any moths since the service. However was a little too expensive for a 900 square foot condominium

The only thing i did not like was that their tech was on my property without my knowledge. Thank god for the cameras on my property. This tech rang my doorbell, continued throughout my property inspecting under the siding of my house. The company logo was not visible on the uniform. I was very upset. I called the company and told the rep that i need to be aware of any appointments to my home. Had i not had surveillance on my home, i would not have known terminex was on my property. Other than that it is a good company and they do great work.

My roommates and I noticed a weird rash a few days ago and automatically worried about bed bugs or fleas. Scott was our inspector and was immediately personable and knowledgable. He checked multiple pieces of furniture and found no signs of infestation. He calmed all of our worries and paranoia. We are very grateful to him!

Rep is good about calling ahead to let me know they are coming. If I'm home and see the rep, he always tells me what he is planning to do, asks if I have any pest problems or questions, and offers to address an issues. Rep has always been personable and attentive and appears to show pride in his work.

There are a few reasons I’ve given a score of 10: 1. Making the appointment online was super simple. 2. The technician was on time and was an extremely nice and kind gentleman to both me and my pets. 3. So far the results of the service have proven successful.For these reasons I’ll be recommending Terminix to anyone in need of pest control.

When my wife and I first moved into our new house, that first spring we had gnats in the window sills and sugar ants consistently throughout the home. I bought a few ant traps from a local hardware store. Of course they didn’t have any effect. I was in over my head, so I reached out to Terminix and immediately received great service. I’ve been a customer for a year and a half and haven’t had any issues with ants or gnats since. The technicians are always so helpful and friendly. We even had a few bees nest that the technicians took care of at no extra charge. I’m very satisfied with the service I receive from Terminix and plan on being a Terminix customer for a while.

Reliable: show up on time Satisfaction: solved the problem After submitting my original comments I began reading what other customers were posting. Of course to my great surprise I realized that about 50% of the reviews gave only one star and practically all those negative reviews centered on communication inadequacies of the company and fraudulent practices of the company. After reading several dozen reviews I can safely say I have never seen anything like this in my life. A good number of 5 stars and a proportional number of 1 stars! People either loved the company of hated the company but no reviews in between ( 2,3,4 ) stars. This leads me to the theory that it all depends upon the technician one gets and whether or not that tech communicates with the customer that they are on their way to the service call. Many negative reviews talked about communication between company personnel and the customer and or the lack of responsiveness to customers calls not being responded to by the company. Unfortunately Terminix has gone the way of many large companies today in that a customer might be dealing with a company rep who is not even in the United States. Companies have shipped out customer care to places all over the world today and there no longer exists the kind of personal care needed to create confidence the customer used to enjoy years ago. Perhaps I have been one of the lucky customers who happens to have a good and reliable technician who communicates with me and performs his service with pride and integrity.

Our Terminix representative, Mike Fanelli, is outstanding! Mike knows our property and consistently does a great job helping us to keep it free of pests. Of all the contractors we’ve had in the past, Mike is THE BEST! I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the future!

Terminex Central Scheduling Dept people assigned a Tech to come and spray both inside & outside for earwicks & spiders on 112221 assigned appt to Tech Timson Green. Who was a no show, he is actually a Manager and on vacation. Disappointed and upset noone showed up nor called I requested Central Scheduling to send out a Tech on 112421 anytime. But Amy, another Terminex Manager, scheduled Tech Nate to come out on 112321 when I told Scheduling I would NOT be home. When Nate called on the 23rd I told him I was not home, so Nate scheduled me for 112421 as I requested. Local Terminex office people are NOT notifying the Central Scheduling Dept people: which Techs are available nor which Techs are on vacation. Technician NATE arrived on 112421, he was kind, considerate, clean, polite and very professional. He listened to my concerns and took care of issues both inside and outside the house. Nate did an exceptional job. I definately recommend Terminex Tech Nate, he is dependable and takes care of your home properly. Local office needs to get their act together with Central Scheduling and hire a Local office Dispatcher. That would solve many problems in scheduling appointments.

Chris Murphy came to the house on time. He was professional, courteous, friendly, and an absolute delight. He was very patient with my barking dogs and when he left he closed the gate without my knowing to ensure my dogs did not get out. It was this level of thoughtfulness that really made my day. Mr. Murphy is a top shelf human being and I really wanted to recognize him. Everyone should have Chris Murphy in their lives; he definitely makes the world a better place and is a great representation of Terminix!

The only reason I am giving this survey a 10 is because of the technician JOSEPH HARASYKO. He and the rep who initially visited my home to setup services are quite possibly is the only people who have provided exceptional customer service. Scheduling visits with you is almost impossible. I have taken days off from work where we scheduled a visit just to be called the day of to let us know when the real scheduled day was. I have also requested to have someone in operations call me to discuss my concerns and frustrations and have never received a call back. That said, I would rate you at a 2 as a whole & the only reason I have not taken my business elsewhere is because of the tech. If he were to change locations I would not hesitate to cancel you and go somewhere else.

This rating is for the technicians. We have met with about 7-8 technicians, and they have all been really good- knowledgeable, respectful, and always helpful in tailoring the services to each unique need. A BIG shout out to some exceptional folks at the local terminix- Robert and Tim and also Bob McGowan. They have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our home. They have also educated us about the naturally present wildlife and its behavior, and they have been very reliable and responsive to communication. There is a disconnect between online/phone scheduling and the local service office which has often pushed me on the verge of ending our contract with Terminix, but the excellent service by their technicians restores my faith in the company every time. We are very happy customers of three years. I hope they can bring mosquito treatment soon.

My experience with Terminix was very positive. I will recommend them to everyone. Communication is essential when dealing with the public. This company has that down pat. Modern technology is amazing to us older people, I actually knew where the technician was as soon as he left the office to respond to my address. He listened to my complaint, did a thorough job applying the solution to combat my pests, spent a few minutes explaining what happens next and he was off to the next job. He did not waste any time and was basically in and out. Chris Murphy is a real asset to Terminix. Thanks Chris!

Since we live near a wooded area, we use Terminix as a precaution against pests. The service works great, and we have an annual service contract with them. Michael Wagner has worked in the Windsor area for many years, and we have used him from the start. He is very knowledgeable, personable and thorough.

dixie h. The techs came, made an inside/outside assessment of the house. They used their various devices to determine where there might be entry points and stuffed/sealed with copper-infused felt and rodent spray (which appears impervious to gnawing) in every area vulnerable to "critter" entry. They backed that up with snap traps which were used in combination with Coumadin-like bait stations, since everything coming in if "looking for food." Though none is available in the areas mentioned, it gave me great comfort that 1) the house is sealed, 2) where possible, the cosmetic appearance is acceptable, etc. If they are in, they can't get out; if they are out they can't get in. We are waiting for the 2 & 4 week evaluation. If all their efforts have not been successful, it is also comforting to know that they will begin again with all their devices, to identify drafts, possible points of entry, etc.. and completely remedy the situations. Good job guys!

When I called Terminix, they recognized me from my phone number and the my technician who is always so nice and courteous arrived within two days and completely took care of my problem with a carpenter bee. Also the services were very very very prompt which was very satisfactory to me. So far the other thing I really like is that due to your policies or warranties I'm able to call with any subsequent issues and you are able to come up without additional charges. Starting from my first phone call to the 800 number I was treated courteously, had everything explained to my understanding, questions answered. Not everyone on an 800# is that good. (Did not get the gentleman's name.) Thomas Barker called me the night before my appointment to go over a few things and we chatted about any questions I had. When he arrived the next day he explained everything at length and went to work outside, then basement, interior and attic. He left his cell # in case I had any further questions or needed him to return. It's only been six days since treatment and I am still seeing ants but keep reminding myself Tom said I should expect that. All that aside, one big reason I would recommend Terminix is because you are pet friendly, child friendly and eco-friendly. My neighbor has bee hives so I specifically asked about bees and was assured no materials would be used that would affect them. Thanx for your service.

We had a very active beehive in one of our bushes in the front yard. Called Terminix and tech came out explained what he was going to do. Tech suited up, sprayed, and cleaned it up. This was part of our service contract so there was no extra charge.

The jury is out. I just do not know. On you last visit for a routine quarterly service, I was not aware of the time and date of the service. I happened to arrive home when the attendant arrived and we had the chance to chat. In the end, I suppose it is all good. Just by chance it was all good. The staffer seemed knowledgable and was quite friendly. A bit different than I was used to.

I don't like the fact that there is an annual fee along with quarterly fees for the service. In addition to the quarterly fees there are additional service fees everytime they come out to apply treatments. This was not clear when presented on our first meeting. I may be cancelling the service contract.

Had a infestation of field mice I called they came a few days later the the next day the tech came out set traps so far caught three I was scared to touch the first trap as the move was still alive covered with small trash can and my son got rid of it the last were dead grind took those out
