We love using preventative pest for our pest control. They are always friendly, professional, and timely. This includes all the employees I’ve interacted with doing the pest service and employees I’ve talked to on the phone when scheduling service. I’ve thought highly of their service but wanted to write a review after our exceptional service this morning by Jake Smith. He came out for our routine mosquito spray and took care of a dead armadillo in our yard right away. He was so nice and even offered to come back later in the day after his other services if he couldn’t fit it in his truck. Very appreciated!

I am going to be very blunt and honest. If you don’t want to waste your money, this is definitely the place you need to call if you have roach problems. They came out and did their thing within 30 minutes or so it could’ve been less I’m not sure. All I know is that within two weeks of them spraying my house every roach was dead. Everything was gone. I am very satisfied and pleased and I will definitely be using them in the future. If this problem ever occurs which I highly doubt, it’s been about a month and a half now and I have still seen nothing. Their service is truly amazing and it works. The plus side is it was very affordable, so I’m happy that they fix the problem. Thank you I appreciate your service. 10 out of 10!

Excellent service all around! We are new customers that signed up for bimonthly general pest control treatment and monthly mosquito treatment. Our technician today was Lance. He provided us with a courtesy call and was on time. He was polite, asked questions about the pests we were seeing, and wore booties to protect our flooring. And very importantly, he was extremely thorough in the treatment for pests both in and outside of our home. He went above and beyond to even clean up an area that had some fallen debris from opening the attic. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Since we've been using preventative we hardly ever see any bugs. The office is quick to schedule an appointment if need be and excellent at communication whether it be by phone or email. Our technician was great. Very friendly, and knowledgeable. He was able to answer any questions I had and I learned a few things from him. Overall great experience since we've used them.

Have used Preventive for several years then stopped when we moved into a new house. Just recently started using their services again due to mice and roaches. The service technician was extremely courteous and professional. He spent time with us during the inspection and explained everything he would do beforehand. We have several pets including small birds that are delicate when it comes to using chemicals. All have done very well with the treatment. No worries. I just switched services about a year ago and since their initial prevention treatment, there has not been any issues. The only thing that showed up were the silvefish and was after a lot of rain and temperature rising. I let them know and took care of today during their routine visit. I found this company through Groupon. Setting up an appt was very easy. I received a call the day before the service as a reminder. The day of, I received another call from the technician about 10-15 minutes before he arrived. The technician was very friendly, very thorough, and quick. Sprayed the inside and outside of the home. The tech also put some stuff in the attic and under the sinks. While outside, he sprayed the weep holes, dusted for spider webs and did a general exterior spray. Excellent service for a great price. Highly recommend this company.

We have been using preventative for years now. The customer service is wonderful and the technicians are always kind and courteous when servicing your home. We have always been very happy with how well they keep pests away, but if there’s ever an issue in between treatments a quick call is all it takes and they come back out to take care of the problem free of charge, which is really important for me since I am allergic to ants and we quite often need extra treatments in the summer to keep them under control. The price works for us based on the value we get. We recommend preventative for pest control to anyone who asks!

We used Preventative to get a free inspection and estimate to do an exclusion serive on our home, and set up routine pest control. We had another pest control business out the day prior, and the comparison between the two companies was obvious. Technician with Preventative was thorough, efficient, very informative, and I felt their proposed exclusion service was more meticulous than the other company. Yep was so pleased that I immediately booked them for the service and they were able to get us on the schedule within just a few days. I will update review once the exclusion is complete, but I anticipate being pleased by a thorough job (based on the description).

The techs are very kind and the one time I didn’t have a good tech, they made it right and sent someone else to make up for that techs bad service. They’re quick on calls, emails and fixing any issues. I honestly can only trust them with pest control for my house. We live in the country south of Alvin, lots of trees and wooded property next door so bugs are a problem. Preventative pest control has accomplished what I’ve been wanting for a while. Overall, I am happy with the service. My tech that comes out is always helpful and friendly, and they answer and respond quickly at the office. My only issues are that they don’t always call when running late and when you first start, they had to come several times before getting the pests under control. Currently not an issue as I’m always home, but would be irritated if I took off work to wait for them. My home is much nicer without the bugs though!

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! I don’t know what kind of pests are in my shrubs. I told Alex that when I first called. 15 minutes later Alex finally tells me if he doesn’t know what kind of pests I have I’ll have to agree to a contract before anyone comes out. What a ripoff! ~~ UPDATE!! ~~ After the owner’s reply, I spoke to Rebecca. I couldn’t ask for a nicer, more helpful person. She set up an inspection as soon as both our schedules would allow. It’s refreshing to encounter a business owner who truly cares about his customers. My thanks to Rebecca and the owner. ~~ 2nd UPDATE ~~ Young man showed up today as scheduled and on time. No way could I ask for a nicer, more friendly guy. He identified the problem immediately. It’s not something this company can correct, but he pointed us in the right direction. I got off to a bad start with this company all because of one man's incompetence. I regret it had to start that way, but extremely pleased with all the others I interacted with. When complete, did the same - mask on, rang/knocked, then stood well back from the door, let me know everything he did. No nonsense, simple interaction, very polite. 🪳 But even before Tanner the Terminator showed up for the appointment, the office was helpful, responsive, polite, and proactive re: the schedule. Young individual on the phone was not experienced, couldn't answer any questions, and not very friendly. Some of the questions definitely need to be removed, others need reworded. Not sure if it was just him, but they really wanted to spray poisons inside the house ... even after I mentioned we have an infant. The individual who came to spray the red wasps was on time, friendly, knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend him. Only requests I'd make are (1) know what I need to do ahead of & after each job (ie move vehicles >XX ft away, stay inside house for YY min to let the poison dissipate), (2) bring a container for removing the wasp nest from my property (he chucked it into the neighbor's yard), and (3) remind us that dead wasps are going to be falling from the roof and windowsills for the next couple hours, that it's normal. Overall, a successful visit and would use their services again.

You guys are the best! Our home was invaded by rodents. Paul came on Monday and made the suggestions and Justice came out yesterday, set traps and overnight we caught 2 and 1 got away! I called this morning and Lance came out this afternoon. This isn’t his regular gig over at Preventive Pest Control but he stepped up and took care of it and was super considerate of my yuck factor of rodents. I called the office after Lance left to see if I could get someone out to replace the “used” traps and I was lucky enough to get Anastasia who took care of me. She is super friendly and was able to get me an earlier appointment to replace the traps that were used. She understood my yuck factor and walked me through it. She is a great face for the company. You don’t find many like her anymore. Answering the phones all day and listening to people’s problems is tiring and exhausting and sometimes just downright thankless. I want to say, thank you Anastasia!! Thank you to all the people I’ve met so far at Preventive Pest Control! I’ve since moved and lots of mulch all around my new home and we all know who loves to live in it! I transferred my service over to my new home in Pearland to control those nasty scary things. I’ve been here a little over a year now and have several technicians out by-monthly and no water-bugs or ants. Jack was the last tech out, he was knowledgeable, offered advice and got the job done. Icing on that cake was he was super friendly and took his time to get a job well done! I see Preventable Pest Control trucks out in my new neighborhood so the secret is out! They are the best!

Jose with Preventive Pest Control showed up at my house on time and ready to work. Jose was courteous, thorough and listened to all my issues concerning bugs running around my house. Jose was fast and very knowledgeable about the pests and the chemicals he is using (and I have a Batchelor’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, so I know the difference). Jose did a better and more complete job of initial pest treatment than anybody has done at any of the locations I have ever lived! I highly recommend these folks.

The pest control technician Michael arrived @ our home on time and ready to work. He asked if we were having any specific problems and I told him the ants were " taking over " because of the recent rains. He started spraying poison in the garage, all around the house, the breezeway and the patio. Then he treated the yard around the house for ants. Preventive Pest Control always does a super job from scheduling an appointment to doing the job and I can call a credit card payment in on the phone after he is finished.
