After purchasing a new home behind a wooded lot in 2019, I decided to contract out to a reputable pest control company to prevent any type of bugs, rodents, spiders from making our new home theirs. I chose Preferred Pest Control, and they have not been a disappointment! On a few occasions when I've needed them, they immediately came out to do inspections or treatments when not on the routine schedule. Their staff has always been extremely professional and friendly. Last year we had ants coming into our house and Preferred Pest came out right away and sprayed for us. Ants were gone within a day or two! Outstanding Service-called first thing in the morning and was at my house shortly after lunch to evaluate my Yellowjackets and Wasps. After receiving and accepting the estimate to exterminate the insects, within an hour of the estimate, I received a call to set an time for them to come back to exterminate them set for the next day. Highly recommend! We had a nasty wasp infestation located right at the foot of our garage door. My wife and I reached out and got an extermination scheduled, they came out right away and took care of the problem. They also went the extra mile to spray the entire house to prevent anymore wasps from appearing. If you need any sort of pests/insects taking care of I suggest reaching out.

My 111 year old house had a mouse problem. I had been trying to deal with it and got fed up when they started getting in the "mouse proof" pantry cupboards. Since Preferred Pest has been here I have not seen one mouse in my home or evidence of them. They were super responsive to my need for safe products and do not spray anywhere I have edible plants. We called to schedule an initial inspection on December 28th, and were told an appointment was not available until the following Monday, due to the holidays / vacation (completely understandable). However, when Carrie, the caring customer service representative, heard / felt our concern, she spoke to the Brad (the owner), and he personally came to our home that very afternoon! He patiently listened to our concerns, answered all our questions, and provided us with valuable advice. Additionally, we were not charged for his thorough inspection. We can’t say enough about his candid, professional and caring demeanor - and his honest assessment of our issue. Matter-of-fact, he told us we didn’t even need their help, and that we were adeptly handling the issue on our own. He told us to stay the course, and contact them again, if / when needed. We were very impressed by his professionalism, understanding, and integrity. It’s nice to know that good guys like Brad are still out there! We will not hesitate to contact Preferred Pest Control in the future, when needed. They are now our GO-TO TEAM!

This team is wonderful. It took me years to get the courage up to pay the price for the full package and it’s been worth it. We’ve been used to having spiders and ants galore in our home for 2.5 years. But we’ve been using preferred pest for almost a year now and it’s been extremely successful. There was only one time that we saw spiders (dead) in the house a few weeks after they treated the inside. So they came back out, two days later and since then we have not had issues with bugs! Every employee I’ve dealt with or had come to our house has been a joy to be around!

We have been utilizing Preferred Pest Control since we bought our home in the Valley Junction area in 2019. Immediately after we moved in we noticed so many ants. This was our first home and so I felt a bit unprepared for this problem. I had a few different companies come to give us estimates and details of their services and their staff was the most personable, knowledgeable, and professional. We also have a dog and they helped to ease any concerns about treatments and safety. It didn’t hurt that they gave our dog attention and pets (he was happy to be included!) I am beyond pleased with our quarterly treatments, and find comfort in knowing they will come help in between services without additional costs *with the exception of some services, such as treatment for cicada killers. Preventative treatments are well worth it with Preferred Pest Control, and I feel my anxiety has drastically decreased in comparison to having our first home and finding an ant infestation. Highly recommend!

He has always been neat, clean, professional, and responsive to our concerns. Our pets even follow him around without issue. We've now gotten through 2 treatments of our pest control plan with Preferred Pest, Justin came this morning to provide our spring treatment. After our first treatment our main issue, ants in the kitchen and bathroom, was resolved within 3 or 4 days! After that we hadn't really seen any spiders or bugs, while the previous year during the same months we would see spiders every day. Even got some tips from Justin today on trapping and relocating some raccoons terrorizing my fiance's landscaping project in our backyard. Great value and great, friendly service for anyone living with unwanted "guests."

Our actual issue was a mouse in the house. While reading reviews of Preferred and other companies I decided to call Preferred Pest Control first for 2 reasons, the very good reviews and pet safety. We have 3 dogs and a cat and they are my number 1 priority. Everyone from the lady who answered the phone ,the gentlemen who did the initial inspection, and the tech who came to put out bait and spray for bugs (I hate bugs to) were very polite, answered all of my questions, and very knowledgeable. It is way to early for me to know the results (just had them here the first time today) but I am highly confident the pests will be gone and my pets are safe.

Nobody wants to be in a position where they need the assistance of a pest control company. It's extremely frustrating, incredibly embarrassing and leaves you feeling very vulnerable. You need someone who understands your problem, addresses your needs quickly, and does their job with the highest level of integrity. If the technician is running late from a previous job they will call ahead to alert me of this and give me a new estimated time of arrival. When they are working at the shop they take care of what is needed and try to help me problem solve/fix areas that may need additional help. I am always happy with their service!

I had a stink bug outbreak inside my house last summer that resurfaced this year to the point that I needed professional services. I'm amazed at the difference in just one treatment. I rarely see them anymore. I also had to call regarding one appointment and the customer service individual took their time to talk with me about my package and upcoming sessions. With larger companies, I always feel like I'm just a number in a queue and they need me off the phone as soon as possible and I've never felt that way with Preferred Pest Control. Great Company, Great people and maybe most important their service is effective. All our pest are gone. We live in the woods with lots of bugs including black ants. Tried several pest control people and only Preferred Pest took the time to figure out where the problem was. The owner went on the roof and the ants were coming off the tree limbs. He sprayed the roof and we have not seen a ant in over 2 years. They come about every 2-3 months and spray the outside. They spray the inside every 4-6 months. They do things like put traps out in the garage for mice and take down spider webs outside. You will be very happy if you use their services. Highly recommend!

Within two weeks of the spray ants and spiders had returned. I called back thinking a second spray would be covered due to the product not really working but was frustrated to find out it would only be at a reduced amount. If I'm paying for a product I expect it to work a little longer. Very disappointed that I will be going back to doing the spraying myself.
