Great service everytime! Devin Rooney was out today to treat my house. He was thorough and took his time to do it right. He made sure to even treat my shed. He was courteous and respectful. I live next to the woods so bugs are plentiful, especially spiders. With Fenix the bugs around the house and patio are gone amd stay gone. If they come back just call and they are right back out there.

I had my monthly service call on August 29. Seth Mickels came and i was not home(Julie). My elderly mom was and she had fallen. Seth heard a noise and came in then he helped her up from the bathroom floor to her bed in the bedroom. She was throwing up immediately and he called me by her direction to do so. I had him call 911. He waited with her until the ambulance came and while the ambulance was here. He was kind and caring. He was also very professional. Thank you Seth for taking care of my most precious mom. You are a true asset to Fenix. I will always use Fenix.

Been using them for a few years now. It started with a wasp issue. Ever since we’ve used them we’ve never had a spider, wasp, centipede, earwig, etc. I HATE BUGS! Alex is awesome!

Edit: Called them back a week later and explained the situation to another person - they were very understanding and worked with me. Very friendly and understanding representative this time, so I've updated my review to 4 stars. Keeping 1 star off for the poor customer service experience with the other rep who wouldn't work with me on this situation. - Old Review: Just sold my house with 1 month left on my 1 year service with Fenix. They blatantly refused to cancel the final month charge without proof of the new physical address, which I cannot provide due to being placed temporary housing for relocating to Washington for work. I'd avoid this place and if I'm ever living in this area again, I will not be bringing my business back. Plenty of other pest control businesses around that probably have better customer service.

Talon was very punctual and professional. He sprayed thoroughly around the outside of the house taking care of two wasp nests as well. He came inside and was respectful as I had two small boys napping at the time. He was able to get the house sprayed thoroughly inside and the boys stayed asleep. :) He couldn’t have been more professional and respectful and I greatly appreciated that. I’ve used Pheonix in the past and had no complaints other than the monthly plan I was on. I didn’t see value in paying extra just to have them on stand by. Olivia W. Assisted me today when re-enrolling in the plan. We’ve noticed potential issues with ants and hornets. I shared that I didn’t want to be over sold and why I cancelled in the past. She shared each plan clearly outlining benefits, cancellation fees, and discounts. Because of her exceptional honesty and service, I chose the quarterly plan. I chose this plan because the cancellation fee was on par with the month to month or one time service cost. So I’m not really losing any money if I choose to cancel in six months. That’s my perspective but may not be someone else’s. Olivia was kind and clear for a service that is usually over sold. I found value in the service they provide as well as kindness and consideration in their customer service. All thanks to my experience with Olivia.

Great experience! Grant was on time, knowledgeable, friendly, paid attention to detail while answering all my questions and explaining exactly what he was doing…. and most of all my dogs didn’t bother him and he talked to them and was so friendly with them! Which made me feel so good because sometime people can act as if they are a nuisance. I would highly suggest requesting Grant to do your service! I will make sure to request him each time! Timmy was very professional, he showed up on time and asked me what our problem areas were. He took care of our wasp problem; we enrolled in their program and we look forward to never having a problem like this again. Though if we do, they will come back in between services to take care of it at no charge. The price of the program is also very reasonable, which is a huge plus! As part of the program he sprayed all around the outside and the inside of the house. All of this was done in a very timely manner, as it only took about 45 minutes for the entire visit. Very pleased with Fenix Pest Control!

This morning 4/30/21, I called Fenix in Ankeny, IA because I noticed what was later identified as clover mites, crawling around on the inside of my windowsills. Olivia, in customer service was fantastic. She quickly and easily set me up on a service plan and was very professional and friendly. When she told me that a technician could come out next week to treat the problem, I expressed my fear and need to have the problem treated right away since I have a child with severe allergies and a cat. Olivia then went out of her way to make sure that a technician could come out today and treat the problem. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Olivia! Grant, the technician was also wonderful. He treated our problem and gave me advice for the future and what to expect in the next couple of weeks with this problem. I have always had a great experience with this company and their staff. We pay annually, and they are very thorough with their work. If at any time a pest problem would spring up between visits, they come out free of charge. We had a major wasp problem no one was able to fix until they came out -- no more wasps! No more ants! Their customer service was great; they answered all the questions I had (like if the treatments were harmful to kids or pets, and the answer is no). All the tech that have come out have been very friendly. I would recommend Fenix Pest Control!

Austin came by our house because our neighbors use their services. We signed up and they came out the next day. They called because there was some rain that had delayed them and wanted to make sure it was ok they would be late. Greatly appreciated the heads up. Talon came out and was very professional. He was awesome. Austin also came by to help since they were running behind. Awesome service. We had the inside and outside sprayed. The chemicals they use are safer for pets. After 15 minutes it’s safe for pets. No signs warning of spray in the yard.

We've had ants appear off and on for a while now. The team at Fenix explained the life cycle of ants and why are one-off treatments aren't effective. Neither is killing the ants when we see them, they need to "take back" the gel to the nest to ensure it doesn't survive. Other providers didn't tell us this!! I've been wasting my money! Booking an appointment was efficient and easy. The technician who came to our home was extremely polite, respectful and communicated exactly what he was going to do. I feel confident that we will finally be rid of the ants.

Grant was our technician and he was great. He explained everything that he was going to apply to our home. Outside he removed wasp nests and applied a deterrent so they won’t come back. I was concerned about the safety of the product and he assured me that they are all plant based and will not attract or harm our dogs. I haven’t even seen those darn Japanese bottles flying around my plants or bushes. I was told I can call anytime if I see bugs between service calls and they will come out and take care of it. I’m very satisfied!

We just had our first bug and pest application yesterday. The gentleman that applied the treatment was very thorough and professional. He took time to spray inside all 5 of our wooden planters as we had many wasp nest in the bottom (I’ve attached a photo of the wooden planters that he sprayed inside of). He also arrived in a timely manner, which was the exact timeframe in which the appointment was scheduled for. The sales representative was in our area (we had just moved into the area a few months prior) and he was NOT pushy. The company was going to be treating a few others in our neighborhood and he wanted us to be aware of their products. At this point in our experience with this company, we would recommend them!

I had Terminix for a couple years. Couldn't get them to to go after wasps that had nest under a low deck. In fact one of the techs said he wouldn't risk his safety to crawl under to find them. I Terminix them, and thought why bother I'll do it myself. Low and behold my wife decided to hire Fenix who guaranteed we would be wasp free/bug free. Even though I was suspicious on such a claim I will admit...Fenix has run those wasp out of my yard...and lower priced than Terminix. Highly recommend them.

Additionally, he sprayed the yard, garage, exterior and interior of the house. He pointed out a couple of simple things that we need to do to prevent critters from entering our garage.
