Oh where do I start!! My parents had beg bugs for 3+ years and none of the other 4 companies could get rid of them. So I called Greg at Bed Bakers. It has been very difficult getting rid of them but Greg has been able to get the job done. Greg has been very honest, dependable and very knowledgeable about bed bugs. Greg usually answers when you call him or if he can’t answer he will always call back. Greg even answered once when I called and he was in the ER suffering from a Gallbladder attack but he still answered my call. Every time we had a problem at my Parents house, Greg would usually come out that day if not then he would be there the next day. We asked Greg at the beginning not to leave us until the job was done and he didn’t. If we would see a problem today we can still call him. So if you need to get rid of bed bugs call Greg at Bed Bakers and he’ll get the job done.

I'm writing this review after 6 weeks of not seeing another bed bug. Greg was great to work with. His services were very affordable, and even so, he went above and beyond in getting us fixed up. DIY heat treatment wasn't able to 100% get the job done in my drafty old house, but the biologic spray he did afterward sure did the trick. Saw my last bug 8 days after he sprayed.

After various family members started coming up with mysterious bites I was horrified to actually see a bed bug living it's "best life" in the in-law suite! My mother recently returned home from the hospital after having a kidney transplant. She was weak and definitely did NOT need this. I tried to DIY it to no avail. I decided to give Bug Baker's a chance based upon their YT videos. Check them out, they are very informative! Greg came to inspect, thoroughly explained our options and gave recommendations. We went with him and are sooooo glad we did. He even came back out to treat some problem areas. If you're having issues don't waste time shopping for exterminators. CALL BUG BAKERS!!!!!!

Greg was fantastic!! He came out the same day I called and stayed in communication the entire time. Fortunately, my problem wasn’t bed bugs but rather carpet beetles, and he walked me through their identification, why I was itching, and the steps to get rid of the problem. He even checked their stock of the pesticide and returned after the appointment so I could purchase it asap rather than ordering it! Truly fantastic service.

I have had the pleasure of working with Greg on three separate occasions, for three different infestations over the years. He has helped us with millipedes, ants, and moths on those three different occasions. They are always quick to respond and have come out to the house within 24 hours with each call. Greg has always been very friendly, helpful, and professional when he visits. I haven't had to work with any of the big name exterminator companies so I can't compare, but Bug Bakers has never tried to sell us on a seasonal plan, repeat treatments, etc. I can't give enough of a positive review. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Columbus area.

Bug Bakers, specifically Greg, has saved my sanity! I struggled trying to get rid of bed bugs for months with the treatments consumers can buy before I finally called Bug Bakers. Greg fit me into his schedule last minute because he could hear I was at my wits end. Greg is professionally, quick, and friendly . He explained exactly what he was doing and answered all my questions. When I had to call them back out after the initial treatment (bed bugs are so hard to kill with there lifecycles being the way they are), Greg did a wonderful job of treating the area for the stragglers again. I cannot recommend them enough! Don’t be like me and try to get rid of them yourself! It almost never works and you go crazy in the process. After buying all the supplies to try and get rid of them myself, Bug Bakers’ treatment is more affordable and you’ll save your sanity (which is priceless, if you ask me). Don’t hesitate to hire them!

Oh my! Where do I start.. After SUFFERING for a year and a half with ever present blood sucking invaders of our lives, and spraying and fogging and pulling furniture apart to do home treatments ourselves with no complete removal, and then loads of Frustration would follow. Evey time. 🙄 We'd been dealing with the problem for quite some time trying all sorts of products that swore up and down that this or that treatment would work and promises of worries no more. We'll, that's a Laugh and a LIE!! They don't work (At all). Within a day or two they'd be back. So I got online....... While looking through all the companies that offered services for our problem we found many. However, looking at reviews we saw alot of not so happy folks posting their own frustrations after being treated. And still having unwanted visitors. But there was one company in particular that stood out to me. And the reviews were outstanding. That company is "BUG BAKERS". And also, where we met Greg 🤗 And that's when unknowingly, our luck was about to change. He came to our home and inspected. He quoted us a reasonable price. It was no more or less than we'd spent in the last year and a half trying to do it ourselves. We needed help badly! So we took a chance. He was honest and up front about our problem and what his treatment would entail. It took a little work to get ready for the process but with crossed fingers we got started. Then.... He came out and did his Magic. I say Magic because it really was like "Now you see them..Now you don't"!! Within the time he told us it would take, we seen results. And our home belonged to us again. If you are ever in our situation, "Run to this company". To speak of him professionally, "Very honest" and "Does what he says". Personally, "Good guy and just a descent person ". Greg, Thank you so much for giving our lives back! You're the best!!

I had recently found that we had a bed bug infestation. I called several places looking for the best price, knowledge about heat vs chemical treatment and how quickly they could be to our home. When I called Bug Bakers I spoke with Greg, he answered all my questions. He came to our home to be sure it was bed bugs and gave us a list about how to prepare the home. Greg was prompt, knowledge, friendly and reassuring that the issue could be resolved. We had treatment about 4 weeks ago and have not seen anything since. Greg has also come back out to treat new furniture the same day it arrived. We are pleased with the customer service we received and the result of the treatment. I highly recommended using Greg and his team !

I always thought bed bugs were just yet bedtime story thing ...don't let the bedbugs bite ....until I move to Ohio and it's ridiculous here but it's like rolling the dice when you move into a rental you never know who is the past tenant or previous tenant and just like us the place that empty for 2 months because it was had to be finished because the previous tenants were disgusting and basically walked away from all of their stuff and the only time you walk away from all your stuff is either you go to jail or it has bed bugs in it so our landlord tried to say that we brought him there but if we brought him there my husband would be ate up completely ate up by them that's how we know that we had one because he got bit by one so just so you know bed bugs can live for up to a year without having a human or a host there to live off of..

Common lore seems to treat bed bugs as if they’re magical and immortal, nearly impossible to get rid of. They are not. True, one needs professional services to be rid of these nasties, but that’s where Greg and Bug Bakers come in. I had bed bugs. Operative word is “had”. Greg recommended the spray over the heat treatment because I live in an attached home. The spray treatment was even cheaper, which showed me Greg cared about effective treatment rather than just making a profit. Two weeks later, bed bugs dead. Three months later I had a follow up service on my furniture but no bed bugs. Six months later and I sleep easy at night knowing there are no bed bugs in my house. I liked working with Greg. He was professional, timely, and effective. If you have bed bugs, don’t panic. Just give Bed Bakers a call. They’ll give those little beasties a one way ticket to the afterlife.

My experience was not so great. Let me start by apologizing for such a long review, but when you've been taking advantage of repeatedly dealing with the same issue by different professionals you get fed up. I will say that Greg was professional and appeared to be well informed also very pleasant, but the words from his mouth is not consistent with his actions. When he came to my home to do a treatment he told my husband and I that everything was in order and we were good to go. Greg also told us that it was guaranteed for 90 days, if we saw any activity after 3 weeks he would come back and treat those areas. Three weeks passed and $1,300.00 later when my husband called to have him come back out he stated that we would have to pay and additional $75.00 because we had totes which were there when he walked through and we purchased poison from him to put in the totes for storage. Needless to say no improvement of our problem. I refused to pay another dime when I feel like I got the shaft in the first place. Update: Since my last review Greg has been in touch with me and has apologized for the misunderstanding. I have received a second treatment and since then there has been very little activity. Greg also extended my warranty by a month. The last treatment seems to have worked better and I'm pleased to say that Greg make it right.

My mom and stepdad discovered a few bed bugs at their house a week ago. Mom called on Tuesday and Greg was able to come out and spray only 3 days later! Very surprised and grateful for the availability. My mom can now be worry free and know that the problem will be solved. Only talked on the phone with Greg but he seems to be a very nice, down to earth guy who truly cares about making everyone feel at peace again and about peoples house issues. Its good to know that my parents house was in good hands. We got the biological treatment so in 2 weeks they should all be gone for good. thank you Greg and Bug Bakers!

This is a good man. Any other company might have taken advantage of us and done a whole house treatment costing thousands of dollars. But they Recommended only a local treatment and said if there were any issues, they would come back out and expand. I have never needed an exterminator, but was lucky enough to choose Bug Bakers. They also explained how hospitals and clinics help spread bus and not to be embarrassed. I highly recommend them, thanks again.

I did not receive extermination services from Greg at Bug Bakers, but did receive some good confirmatory advice on fleas. Granted, most of what I was told I had already learned online, but it was well-worth it to get confirmation on what I knew from a trained professional. Greg does an excellent job of responding to phone calls and text messages in a timely manner in a way that addresses all clauses of one's inquiry. Unlike my distaste with other exterminators who "talked down" to me and did not disclose or explain their treatment methods, Greg spoke eye-to-eye with me and walked through the treatment process in a fairly robust manner. He was extremely fair as regarded finances, too, especially in comparison to other treatment companies.

Bug Bakers got rid of the second wave of bed bugs after the first exterminators claimed to have killed all the bedbugs AND the eggs of bed bugs by doing a whole house chemical "Bombing." My son in Chicago insisted that I allow him to call Bug Bakers of Columbus to come out and get rid of the new crop of bedbugs. In my case they used a biological method that completely eliminated the bugs within two weeks, although they had said it might take 3 weeks for them to all die. Greg, the technician was very knowledgeable and extremely efficient.

After our son ended up with mystery bug bites two weeks in a row, a week apart, we started researching bed bugs and called Greg. He showed up that evening after doing a full day's work, and did a visual inspection of our bedrooms; found nothing but left a monitor to see if anything would turn up. When the monitors were empty after four nights, he counseled us to take a wait and see approach -- offering to heat treat our house proactively if we were super anxious, but with no evidence he recommended we hold off. We met Greg from Bug Bakers last December when we discovered bed bugs in our daughter’s room. We initially called a well known pest company for treatment. I did not have a comforting feeling from this pest company and the treatment would take months! We did a Google search and found Bug Bakers. Greg called me back instantly and not only met with me that afternoon to go through my house, he came back later that evening and met with my husband. He answered EVERY question and we had plenty! I was understandably upset, mortified and scared! He calmed my nerves and gave me peace that we caught it early and he could treat the house with heat in One Session...unlike the chemical treatment offered by the pest company. We prepped and did everything Greg suggested to a “T”. Months passed...now it’s August and just last night we found a bed bug on our bed! We instantly took a picture and sent it to Greg. 3 minutes later, he called and scheduled an appointment for today! We traveled a lot this summer so we figure we must have brought it home with us...not the momento I would like, but non-the-less, Greg is on it. He treated the bedrooms with a non chemical spray that will last up to 4 months. He even left a bed bug monitor behind for us to check throughout the week. He again spent time with us and answered all the same questions of “WHY?!” I am totally confident that we will nip this in the bud...I would have no problems recommending Greg and his crew at Bug Bakers of Columbus! After a failed chemical treatment I googled heat treatments and found bugbakers. Greg was quick to call me back...answered all questions and gave advice. When they showed up I didn't have everything done and he was patient while I finished everything up. Any concerns you have he will answer them. He seems to really know what he is talking about and doing and also shows he cares about his work. After the heat treatment I was still finding bugs and he assured me it was normal for a week after. Over a week later I found another and he was quick to rectify the situation and came out and treated again. They were very professional and you can definitely trust leaving them in your home. I contacted the company due to my concern over a possible bed bug issue. I work in a field that leads to a high possibility of exposure, so I try to stay vigilant. Although right now it is the 'wait and see' approach, Greg was very helpful on the phone. Greg came to our home today. He did an amazing job. We have had to treat before, and used two other companies. I couldn't put into words how much different the process was. The visible difference between his method was astounding. The heat was easily 25+ degrees hotter than the previous contractor. He offered in house financing which really helped us out of a jam. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, and walked us through each and every step. He allowed us time to correct our mistakes in the initial prep. I was in Columbus visiting my mom who was in the hospital. My father told me he noticed some bugs in the bedroom. We had never seen bed bugs before but figured that's probably what they were. This became an urgent situation as I was headed out of Columbus and wanted to make sure the problem was resolved. On a Sunday morning, I found Bug Bakers online and submitted my issue. Greg immediately contacted me and came right out. He thoroughly looked over the house and made a recommendation to attack the issue. We scheduled right away and they took care of the rest, including: Prepping the rooms (bagging clothes, emptying drawers, etc., as my father was not able to do this), then attacking and killing those nasty critters with intense heat. Bug Bakers set up my parent's new bed and even fixed the broken vacuum. They were so good to my father who was under a lot of stress at the time. They went above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend them.

Greg was such a big help! I had a bed bug problem while I was living in Cleveland prior to moving down to Columbus. I took the proper steps to ensure that when I moved, the bed bugs wouldn't travel with me. Even though I did that I still had anxiety about having them. I reached out to Greg to share my concerns with him and he talked me through it all. He calmed me down! Since then, I found little bugs throughout my apartment from time to time. They never turned out to be bed bugs. Greg let me send him pictures of the bugs to confirm each time! He even let me bring one of the bugs into his office to take a look under the microscope one day (this was after 5pm). That bug also didnt turn out to be a bed bug. He took the time to explain his entire business to me. I will always go back to Greg with any concerns that I have with bed bugs going forward! Greg made an extremely stressful situation less stressful. He answered all of our questions no matter what it was. He was patient with our kids asking thousands of questions about his equipment and "how this" & "how that". He had to drive over an hour to get to our home but was in time and ready to go upon arrival. The prep-work can be tedious but it can & will get you to declutter your space. Greg had said that the home should look like you just moved in and was impressed by the emptiness on that morning. Afterwards, we did have a couple of stragglers but Greg reassured us that they were dying. It's been over a month and we haven't seen anymore. We will continue to look I'm sure but our minds are in a better place because of Greg of Bug Bakers.

Great service, before he treated my home he told me to call him anytime for any questions and I did. I was so stressed and he eased my mind every time I called. He helped me every step of the way I know I called at least 3 times a day every single day and he never acted like I was bothering him. I waited 2 months to do this review because I wanted to make sure my bugs were completely gone. We originally contacted Bug Bakers just prior to Labor Day weekend (in case Google doesn't show it, this review is being posted in November) when we found an infestation. Our infestation wasn't big and we only ever saw a couple dozen of them. However, it wasn't my first rodeo with these horrid things so my roommates and I decided that an expedient solution was better than waiting until it got horrible. The company contacted me back the same day I sent the email. So far so good. Scheduled a walk through. We had cleaned the day prior so there weren't any visible bed bugs, but I had pictures of where they were prior to my cleaning. They scheduled the appointment a week later (the week after labor day). It's actually a fairly stressful process and there is a lot of stuff that you have to do. My advice is do it. All of it. There were a few things I missed going into the morning of and they allowed me to finish them up instead of scheduling a new day. They were nice about it, but it was fairly clear that they were busy folks so don't be dumb like me and miss stuff. Their process is thorough. I guess a certain temperature is recommended for a certain amount of time. They got it 20F hotter than recommended and left it there 4 hours longer than the minimum. That made me happy. The house took forever to cool down afterward, but going up to my bedroom to open the windows had me sweating inside of 10 seconds. I can't imagine any living creature surviving in that kind of hell for long. The treatment took almost all day. When I got home, they went over the post treatment checklist briefly which we completed. My house was a freaking oven. That night, we found several dozen dead bed bugs on the bedroom floors in all our various rooms. It has been 2 months and aside from the swath of dead ones we found in the wake of the treatment, we haven't seen any since. No bites, no nests in the corners of the bed. Nothing. We're much more careful because the treatment isn't cheap (they do work with you a bit. For instance, our basement was not in need of treatment so they were able to skip that to help lower the price) so we don't have this happen again. They are highly recommended. Good, hard working people who know their business and do it promptly and correctly. They'll rush you a little if you don't get the pre treatment checklist done, but let's face it, I should've had it done before they got there =) No bed bugs = no complaints. 5 stats. PS, all of our electronics and such ended up okay. We suffered no damage except for a picture frame we forgot to take down (it was glued, and glue melts). Seriously, do the checklist lol.
