They send notification regarding when they will be at your home to provide services. Once at your home, they inquire if there are any concerns or areas needing attention. Good customer service.

They called beforehand to let me know they would be to my home in 30 minutes. They serviced the outside of the house and then knocked to let me know they were finished. I asked them to treat the inside as well, even though I haven't seen a lot of activity, I would like to keep it that way! He did the main floor and the basement. He pointed out things to me that would help (like a Crack in the bricks where you could see outside and a window that didn't close quite all the way) and explained that fixing those could help tremendously. He wasn't able to spray the yard as it had just rained but rescheduled me for that service (no extra charge!) He was super thorough in explaining everything to me and that was very helpful.

They are always professional when they come out and are willing to listen to any of my concerns. Then they immediately address them or schedule me that day. Their price was great. Their service is simple to use and they communicate via text, email, and phone. I dealt with a different person each appointment and all of them were professional and courteous. Their service did work well, we had a lot less insects around. I signed a two-year contract for service but cancelled this year (halfway in) because I now have a garden and would like bugs around the yard to help pollinate. Originally I was going to get charged a $200 cancellation fee, but when I called to pay it they waived the fee! Their service does work well and is ran well. Spraying your yard to kill or deter pests is likely causing great harm to your local ecosystem.

David Parker on 4/14 did my quarterly service. He was excellent, he did all cobwebs around the house. I also asked if he would spray the bathrooms but he was reluctant, he had a number of reasons why? I mentioned it was done in the past. I have had Aptive for over two years. But in the end he came in just to see any activity? It was the first time I heard this product was not for indoors. He said a supervisor would call and explain?

Usually very accommodating and effective, but for the past several weeks their services haven’t worked at all, the issue is getting worse, and I can never get through to anyone on the phone. Very frustrating. Considering switching at this point. Update 4/7/22 We got a handle on things slowly last season, after my last review. I think Aptive is fighting an uphill battle for us on our property, and they are doing their best while trying to respect regulations and keep our home environment safe and nontoxic. Had a great technician today who took his time, took into account our past treatments and explained everything thoroughly. Shout out to David Parker, hope we get you again!

I don’t have my contract handy, but several of the above are covered by Aptive treatments. It has been a truly great help to us as we live in a remote, wooded area. We get lots of critters getting in or trying to get in. I have noticed very few insects since I have been using Aptive. My husband and I are very impressed by their products . As for their service, it is excellent! I get a notice of the tech’s visit with time and date. The service representative tells me when they have arrived. Initial visit was great, Jessie did a thorough job, found an entry location where mice were getting in and did preventative measures, our previous pest control failed to find this, where Jessie found it on inspection. Also did complete sweep of outside. I'll track how they do since we entered into a years contract, off to a great start. Thanks Jessie! Follow up 2021 Tom came and was equally as professional and thorough. He remembered his visit from before and trouble spots for ants. Except for scheduling problems/ with office and getting a hold of the office, the techs that come are good. Thanks Tom for your respectful and expert visit today. Today Derrick came did interior and promised to be back next week. I’ll review after that visit. Current 9/13/21, Caleb was polite, respectful of property, very thorough. They need to come back and change out boxes he did not have keys for, said this would be done within 72 hours. I’ll Finish review at that time. No one has showed up to finish the treatment. This is common when they say they’ll be back, they never are. 01/22/22 Steven and Anthony came did an amazing job checking/replacing mouse boxes and giving advice. Great service from these two gentlemen.

We have had aptive service for approximately 18-24 months and have seen a significant decrease in the amount of bugs in the home. We bought the house approximately 3 years ago and upon moving in had to treat for carpenter ants, wood boaring bees, silver fish, ants, centipedes, stink bugs, mice. At first it was overwhelming the amount of things needing to get out of the house. These last two visits David Parker has come out to do a deep treatment for any potential silver fish remaining in basement. He was very pleasent to work with and extremely knowledgeable on his first visit, he came back two weeks later to check all his traps and to assess any more potential remaining insects we may need to target. We really appreciate his detail follow up to ensure we are tackling and maintaining a bug free home. Thanks for your expertise!

I have been using Aptive for a year. Today was their scheduled treatment. I asked them to spray the inside of my shed as well as the inside of my garage and house . As scheduled Owen also sprayed the exterior if my house. The reason I had them spray the extra spaces wasn't because I've been having problems. I had them do extra work because it's the end of my 1 year contract and I planned to discontinue their services. When I really thought about discontinuing their services, it was because of money. Now I realize that I haven't had any ant or other pest problems since they started my treatments. Other people I speak to that don't use Aptive, have ants and spiders all the time. The price I pay for Aptive services is so little compared to fighting off the "creepy crawlies." I've decided to keep using Aptive for my peace of mind. Thank you Aptive

Usually get phone call as heads up they're on their way. Didnt, so he showed up in middle of meeting. Which was unfortunate and caused me some problems, as he needed to be inside to check traps. The company should know this by now... Also his mask kept slipping. NOT good service practice during a pandemic. Then he booked without checking back in. I know i was in meeting, but by that time I'd already been interrupted, thought he'd at least say he was done. New guy? Could use some help, i think. Pleasant, decent enough seeming guy. Just not professional. And I pay this company a LOT of money in a year.

We’ve used this company for several years now. The price is reasonable compared to other estimates we received. The service person has always been polite and professional. My only complaint would be long waits (20 + minutes on one occasion) when calling in. This was peak covid time and I think the representatives may have been working from home. Not sure, but considered this may have contributed to the delay.

They always remove any cobwebs from outside around the house before treating around doorways and windows. Since beginning treatments, I have noticed a huge improvement of pests around the outside and the inside of my home. They are prompt and very courteous.

I'm not sure how I feel about the company as this is the initial application of their product. I will say up to this point I'm not pleased. The sales person made it sound like they used something other than what I have used in the garage to get rid of our mice. The sales person told me that they use a chemical that makes the rodents not want to be by the house and that i woukd have to have items not by the wall so the person could get around and spray. The application person told me they use sticky traps and snap traps. The other thing they use are live bait traps outside the home but they didn't have any available. They are going to set up a time to bring some out next week. I will say both people have been incredibly kind. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid because of the cost and everything will turn out well. Update: canceled with company. They didn't follow through and also tried to send someone out when it was raining. When I asked if their product would stay on the ground if it is raining, I was told no it would become ineffective. So I told them to cancel.

I have been getting service from this company for about 2 years, and I have been very pleased. The products and methods they use are effective—as evidenced by my not having had hardly any issues with insects (and my house is an older home with LOTS of cracks and unsealed spaces). On the rare occasion that I have seen one or two bugs, I’ve called and someone has come out within a day or two to do a free re-service. I also really appreciate the friendliness of the professionals who do the servicing. They are also very knowledgeable and give you peace of mind. I definitely recommend!

I am very frustrated. Asked them to come out and set traps in my house for mice. A guy shows up at the door without a mask and said he didnt know what he was there for. We asked him to put on a mask and he put traps where I told him to. I completed review of service and complained about mask. Another gut calls and says he is sorry and wants to set different traps free of charge and we set a time. No one shows up but a few days later another guy shows up to do a regular service and ia asked him to set the traps. I am frustrated that their way of making up for a problem is to be a no show.

Very happy with my service! I was nervous about switching from my other service several months ago even though I was not happy with them! I told Aptive about our ant problem in our back yard...we had very large black ants! The technician went out all the way to our patio and sprayed! For several days after that we were seeing what seemed like 1,000’s of black ants coming out and dying on the patio. Our problem has been resolved and we are thrilled! Also our quarterly service is less than the old one! Thank you Aptive!

After a few sessions of the tech spraying we were able to get the tech to come in and spray the areas that were having the most ant traffic. Once they came inside the ants have not reappeared. The product is great if you can manage to get the techs to actually spray the affected areas.

First of all I am upset that the service guy parked in the middle of my driveway. I pulled in behind him the best I could without blocking him but to get out of the street. He was sitting in his truck but never even noticed I was behind him with my car running. I had groceries and was trying to get to my garage. I had to get out of my car and go up to him to ask him to move over. The drive has plenty of room for two cars. He did apologize. Then I wanted to make sure he sprayed for wasp as I've seen them near the front door and out back. I'm not even sure he sprayed in the front as there isn't any residue left. In the back, yes, he sprayed but allowed it to hit my three crank out windows in that area and one of them was even cranked open! All three will now have to be washed. I am not a happy camper!! I would not want this person to return to my home. I have been using Aptive Environmental for a number of years and have never had issues like these. I guess before I arrived home he had sprayed but when asked if he had sprayed for wasp he said he saw signs of them but had not sprayed. Why would I have to request that??? Truthfully, I don't think I should be charged for this service call.

Second rep scheduled me for a next day service which was just completed. Aptive was masked and wearing ID and easily identifiable company shirt and driving company vehicle. Extremely cordial rang door bell and socially distanced off porch to explain what services would be done and duration should last. Done within 15 mins.

This is an updated review since a year ago when I left 5 stars. My husband and I have used Aptive's services consistently for 3 years and have always sung it's praises. And until recently we didn't have much to complain about. We now have 2 issues: the lack of 30 minute call-aheads that I am told will happen when scheduling services, and how inconvenient the phone system has been recently. I understand the phone system might have just changed in the last few months, but it now takes much longer to get through to a representative than it ever did in the last 3 years. And we really depend upon those 30 minute call aheads to give us notice when we need our house's interior sprayed as we have small children and my husband needs to plan to be home for the 2 to 4 hour time frame that's given to allow an employee to spray inside our home. Overall we still really like Aptive, and we have noticed how pest-free our home has been since choosing this company. We are just beginning to get frustrated with the recent lack of consistent 30 minute call aheads (which as a mother to littles I now totally depend upon) and easy-to-reach customer service we enjoyed before these last few months. This is a shame because the overall friendliness and fast and easy communication with customer service is what really has set this company apart for us.

Tom came out in April to do the initial service at my house. We've had mice, carpenter ants, and spiders in the past. He quickly identified where the mice were getting in (check your garage seals, people), and set up traps in all the right places. We had a professional rodent control come out multiple times in the past and they only set up bait stations without doing the inspection (the bait would tell them where they were coming in, they said, but we never did learn). Tom was able to solve the problem right away. He and Chrystal did a thorough job, were extremely friendly, and we couldn't be more satisfied.
