On recommendation from a friend, I called Rose to have them help with the Rat issue we have in our backyard. Jose came out and was knowledgeable, courteous and took the time to explain how the process works, what to expect and possible adjustments with the traps that may need to be made. He also helped seal some of the problem areas around the garage (entry points for the rats). Its nice to know he will be the same person I will dealing with for future visits. Based on my initial experience I would highly recommend.

I have been using Rose Pest Solutions for over 5 years now. We own a building in Chicago, and their service is great! They always show up and do their job, and are professional. My only beef is that they have been changing the way they do service agreements, and it is kind of confusing. They had a great online portal that they built about a year or 2 ago. It was so easy to check your bill, pay for a year in advance for a small discount, do paperless billing and autopay. They no longer do payment up front, and only monthly billing. On top of that, the client portal doesn't allow for anything but paying a bill online or emailing a question. If you want to go to paperless billing and autopay, you must call. It isn't even offered as a feature in the portal. You would think since most pest control is an ongoing service, you wouldn't take away from the portal, and make it harder for customers to regulate their services.

The initial experience was great, but my understanding was that since I was paying for the continuing service, they would be sending associates monthly to replace the glue traps and refill the bait stations --but I haven't seen anyone since the first visit, despite the monthly auto-payment. I haven't seen any mice lately, but that may be partly my cats ' influence. (Edited after reply to add: Welp. Don't I feel silly. :) Changing stars.)

I cannot say enough good things about Rose and our service technician, Scott! Scott and Max handled our pigeon netting install and made the process so easy and effortless for us - the tenants. This was not an easy job. We live in a very old rehabbed 3-flat and there were many challenges to them. I have Rose Pest Solutions come every few months to treat the outside of our house for ants. They are always friendly and professional. We don’t have ants come in anymore because we are on a maintenance program. The only thing is that the technicians call the day of to see if they can come. I think the main office should communicate the date at least a few days in advance.

I would definitely recommend Rose Pest Solutions to anyone. This is the 2nd time I've used their service. 7 years ago for roaches, they sent a tech out and he sprays their magic throughout the house and I haven't had roaches since. Now I have a mouse issue and since mice are a smart rodent and they reproduce quickly I enrolled for the year-round protection and so far so good with that issue. It's certainly under control. My exterminator technician Allen has made this experience very pleasant. He's very professional and arrived promptly when we agree on a scheduled day. He comes in checks on all the bate and traps and replaces it all and places more and provides me with extra traps to have on hand and he always expresses that if there are any issues or concerns I'm able to call him to arrange a meeting. I truly appreciate that. Overall this is a great company and not overpriced like other competitors. So if you have any issues and are looking for a Pest Control solution I would highly recommend giving Rose🌹 Pest Control a call for sure. You shouldn't be disappointed.

After 7 uneventful years in our current home, we recently found rat droppings in our backyard. We had the city rat patrol come out to assess, but quickly realized we were going to need a more hands-on approach. Steve came out and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and great with social distancing and adapting to doing his job in the very different current environment. After assessing where he thought a rat trap would be best placed and explaining why, He placed it and suggested that he should return in two weeks to follow up. Almost to the day we found two dead rats and he restocked the bait. We continue to have less and less of a problem and have continued to be thrilled with Steve and Rose Pest Solutions. Rose pest solution was AMAZING! I woke up to bagels scattered across my kitchen because of a rat attack, I immediately called Rose Pest and a technician was sent out immediately. Sean was incredible. He was very response. From the beginning he was very dedicated. He understand the severity of the problem and immediately sprung into action. After the first week we already caught 4 rats! He also discovered exactly where the rats were coming in and started baiting. From there, I was still hearing them in the walls as well as they were getting inside. Sean took time out of his day to come to our rescue. Sean would be at my apartment setting traps on the weekend, and every morning. He was very dedicated to solving our problem which was greatly appreciated. Not only did he devote his life to help me he also got a hazemat suit and went into our crawl space to examine our rat problem even more! In total we caught 10 large rats. All because of Sean! He was very immediate, available all the time, and was always ready to help. I could not imagine using any other service or person. Even now, 2 months later Sean makes sure to check up and make sure we are not suffering from a rat problem anymore. Without Sean I would still be living in fear! I don't hear or see anything in my apartment anymore as well as my bagels are safe. I appreciate everything Sean did and he is the best of the best!

The apartments are small, and the roach problem was just beginning. I just wanted to address the problem before it got worse. Rose is fantastic. Sean came out and did a full inspection of our ant problem, then baited so discretely that the ants just disappeared. When a new nest developed weeks later, he came back and took care of that with good cheer. I'll call them again if needed. Very worth the cost.

Their salesman was nice, courteous, and explained things very well. Took the service for 1year because I felt after 2/3 treatments my problem would be resolve and I would have extra insurance. The gentleman came applied the material. He was always on time never any problems. It will be a year in a month that i have had the service and by now I feel I should no longer be seeing any critters. I was told that after the initial application a MIST would be used on the remaining service and any critters would go back to the source and they eventually kill off the others. Well I'm still finding them and I shouldn't be because it's almost a year. They do not do each and every room in the house only bedrooms, living room etc. No kitchen bathrooms basements. I have had the original salesman who did a special treatment out stated he saw NO activity but why am I still seeing them. I feel I'm paying for nothing and being senior citizens money is not easy to come by for "extra" expenses. This company was recommended by another person in the exterminating business.

[New review from work done 4/12] An hour or two after posting my first review, the manager, John, called me and said he could be out this afternoon to help with the wasps. He apologized for the poor quality of the first visit and wanted to make sure things were done right. Sure enough, he was out this afternoon and helped thoroughly diagnose the issue. We now have a plan for dealing with the wasps. Hopefully we don't need to, but I'd call Rose again for help if things get out of hand. [Original review from work done 4/10] I called to schedule time for someone to come out and help us with two issues — wasps in the backyard and ants in the house. I made clear the wasps were the primary issue. When someone came out a few days later, they said they had no equipment (ladder, etc.) to identify where the wasps were nesting, so nothing was done. The ants were dealt with, which is why this isn’t a 1-star review, but now I’ve got to find help with the wasps. If anyone has a recommendation, I’d appreciate it.

The service person, Elliott, was very helpful. He is very personable and knowledgeable and always has the right answers. My only complaint is the cost. Why should it be $225 for a visit that doesn’t require much time or pesticides? The cost should be in line with the time and effort required of the service - a lower amount for 15-30 minutes and a higher amount for 30-60, etc. instead of a set amount.

I have a very unexpected rodent problem where a rat was able to run past me when I opened my door to my backyard To let my dog out and I was just horrified. The owner, Scott, came out right away to do an evaluation of my home and surrounding area outside to see if they could get in from the outside but luckily they can’t so Scott put together a plan and Sean, his technician has been by everyday checking the traps and actually came up with some more ideas because the rodent that got in has a lot of hiding places. I’m confident he will no longer be around in a da. Excellent service, I highly recommend them.

I was relived the moment Scott Kaufman from Rose Came to our home. We’ve had some small rodents in the backyard and I know they are the ones called RATS, the name alone freaks me out and i was expecting a sales pitch followed by a monthly service pitch which I was expecting I couldn’t afford, what I got was an extremely fair price, no sales gimmicks or up sales, Scott set my concern at ease, quickly set and baited two traps and said that our issue was minimal. The phone and text communication thru the process was great and I would refer this team to anyone who needs help with rodents or other extermination's.

I've found Rose Pest Solutions to be reliable and responsive. The same tech comes to my house every other month to monitor a back-yard pest issue (one that inevitably comes with living in the city), and he always takes the time to give me an update on what he is seeing. I've not seen any of the critters since hiring Rose, which means they're under control though probably not completely gone (again, I live in a dense city neighborhood). I would recommend Rose and will continue using them based on the customer service I've gotten.

However, she asked me for ketchup, which I gave her, and she proceeded to put ketchup on all the mousetraps and in all the bait stations, saying this is what would attract the mice. Our previous technician used pepperoni which he provided himself. After watching the technician touch our ketchup bottle spout to the bag of poison, I decided she could keep our 1/2 used 32 oz bottle. She also poured out too much ketchup onto one of the traps, rinsed things off in the bathroom and it wasn’t until after she left that I found ketchup spatters on that bathroom’s walls and ceiling. Whatever substance a tech thinks is best used for bait should be provided for by the company — not me. I am already paying Rose Pest Solutions for that, right? And I shouldn’t have to clean up after a technician’s visit.
