In April 2021 we had a horrible bug problem in our house. Being around farm land, it expected. Joshua's Pest Control Door to Door Techs hit up my neighbor. They are responsibly priced so I gave them a shot. I have no complaints about them. Writing this review at 12/15/22, I am no longer needed their services. I gave them a talk and told them I would no longer be needed their services. They did offer options that are more cost effective for my budget. Ultimately, I declined and they told me they would cancel this account right away. (Wrote the same thing on Yelp.)

The service is really good, I’ve noticed a difference since I’ve contacted Joshua’s Peast Control. The last technician Joon, was absolutely awesome! He was friendly, knowledgeable, kind, well-rounded in knowing what he was doing, and did a thorough job exterminating my home inside and out. I would recommend Joshua’s Pest Control to anyone who is looking for an exterminator. Also, if they come and exterminate but you continue to see pests; they will come out again at no charge, and make whatever needs to be made right, made right!

Josh's Pest Service is the best in his field of services. His techs are always on time, they never overcharge you for things you don't need, and they do a wonderful job. They even came back and set traps for mice we had and drain flys that are soooo annoying for FREE!!! Joshua's Pest Control performed their 1st application of an annual regiment today. Very informative, friendly, and extremely timely with updates regarding arrival time. Thorough applications and were clear as to expectation results between 1st and scheduled 2nd applications. In addition, removed paper wasp nests and visible spider webs from exterior. It will take some time for me to review results but currently am very happy with the service and professionalism of staff.

I was notified via text about my appointment and the representative arrived shortly afterwards. The service was thorough and included the cleaning of spider webs, the spraying of insecticide, the checking and refilling of bait stations all around the perimeter of the house. There was also a treatment applied to the lawn for other insects. The representative was friendly and asked if there were any other concerns before completely the service. The service is thorough and a good value if you have any pest issues.

They do not simply tell you what service you ypay for. They show you, in your home, why you need it. I was very leery about the termite extermination because of the cost, but after Cody SHOWED me some termites close my house, and educated me in "Termies 101", I signed up for the program.

Beyond impressed with all the members of your crew thus far. The young men that initially sold me were very personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Did I mention professional??? Fast forward to Tuesday, the day of our initial treatment, and My wife and I were blown away at how nice a young man the technician was. He listened, and offered expertise on everything we asked or expressed concern about. He even removed 5 frogs from our window well without any hesitation. Gildardo was well mannered and awesome. This was our first experience with an extermination company (as homeowners) and I am beyond satisfied. They delivered on everything they promised thus far and a very reasonable price, and offered a tremendous warranty.

I changed my review from a 5 to 4 and I'm thinking of going even lower. We have had Joshua's pest control for the last two-plus years. Within that span, we have had wasps in our attic twice now. They come into our master bathroom through the light/vent. I understand the first year of this happening, but I don't understand how it keeps happening if they are taking the necessary precautions to keep insects away. I now have to wait and hope they don't keep coming into our bathroom or into our bedroom/house from today (a Friday) until next Tuesday!! I understand it's a weekend but you are telling me no one can get here sooner when I'm calling at 10:30 am on Friday? I might need to cancel and go elsewhere.

I’m super impressed with my experience with Joshua’s Pest Control! The sales guy who came to my door, Andrew, was incredibly professional, knowledgable and NOT pushy. My first service was today, just two days after I signed up. The technicians who came to our house, Charlie and Carlos, were very professional, personable and extremely thorough. They came to the door to introduce themselves and explained everything they were going to do. They applied the overall treatment inside and out, and addressed specific issues I mentioned like a large mound of carpenter ants and an occasional mouse sighting. Also, they’re a class act all the way from their crisp uniforms to the gleaming branded van. I would HIGHLY recommend their services!

We aren’t the cheapest price, we’re not the most expensive, but WE are the best value because of how hard our technicians work and the service we provide. First service was very thorough. Nice tech. ***Second service- no appointment was made at first. Just got a text at 8am they were coming. I was not available that day so rescheduled. Was given an 8-1 window with the understanding a text would be sent 30 min prior to arrival. No text. Came at 8:30am. While I appreciate coming during the scheduled window, a text would be nice. Also left without said treatment was done. I always like to review with the tech what they actually did on my property. While I watched, a little more communication would be nice.

Honestly, they seem a bit "slick". They called to set up a free termite inspection. The tech found no issues, but felt it would be best if I signed up for preventative service, at a cost of $1500 plus $300 annually to recharge it! This is ridiculous, especially since there wasn't a problem. In addition, they would not provide a written quote with details, warranty, etc. They just expected me to sign up on the spot.

Tori was my technician and texted me before she came out to apply my first treatment. I really appreciated that because I was trying to get the lawn cut before she arrived. She was friendly, very professional and very knowledgeable. She treated all the areas that I pointed out to her and was nice enough to wait until I finish cutting the front lawn so she could apply the treatment after I cut it. She sent me a follow up text after the job is complete. I am very pleased with her work and hope to see results in 2 to 3 weeks.

The technician was awesome. He arrived ahead of schedule & He waited til I got home to show him the property zone, which i did request "owner be present". The technician gave me the chance to show him the problem areas that I had questions about. He was very throu, and took his time with getting all the areas i needed focus on. Over the years I have hired numerous pest control services. Joshua’s has proven to be extremely effective. Over the last year we have had virtually no ants in the house at all whereas as we used to get them quite frequently. Not to mention that, on one of their visits, I happened to bring up the fact that I had noticed some mouse droppings in the mechanicals room down in the basement. So they proactively set outdoor traps around the yard to to help eliminate the problem.

The follow up emails and text messages providing the details of the services performed is very useful for keeping documentation on the property as well. I was a little taken back, however, when the technician indicated that they are not allowed to get on a ladder to spray up under the second story eaves though the sales representative had told me that it would not be a problem.

The gentleman who came to the house was very professional when he sold me the service. He offered me a great deal because his team was already working in the area. The gentle man who came to perform the service was professional and kind. He spread granules all over the yard, but it seemed really fast. I was told it would be about 2 hours for the whole thing and I think he was done in 45-50 minutes. He asked where we would see the insects and such and I explained where we had been seeing them. He covered the rooms I expressed and that was it. I had expected the whole house, but I guess the price was so low because they only do the rooms with sightings. I’m still happy because I know it was a good deal. I just hope it works well. I’ll have to wait and see.

The tech was very thorough and explained the whole process. He told us that after he treated the outside, the bugs will be disturbed and will see more activity inside your house for about 2 weeks. Our mistake was not having him treat the inside of the house at the same time. We live on an acre and have alot of perennials, wildlife and a variety of bugs. Four stars for now, because today was the 1st application and I cannot say how well the service keeps pests at bay. However, Joseph who conducted the application, was prompt, professional, answered all my questions, and took time to make sure my questions were answered. He seemed knowledgeable of the product, service and application process. He was very thorough and I kept an eye on him out the window to make sure everything I was promised was done. Maybe in 2 months I will give 5 stars, but again, it is too soon to say the product actually works.

Only reason this is not 5 stars is I am notified last minute about appointments. Taylor was helpful, & knowledgeable. Joshua's has eradicated silverfish, mice & ants better than any company I have used and they are more naturally based.

Caleb from Joshua was dressed very professionally and drove a company vehicle which was clearly displayed. He was early and he politely asked if I had any problem if he started at that time. He explained what he was going to do and he began the process. I saw him every so often around outside doing exactly as explained. My review is limited to my interaction w/ one of Joshua's door-to-door sales reps. In short, it was a pretty bad experience. We just moved in a couple days ago and barely know our house/what pest issues we have or need to deal with. I expressed that we are actually interested but need some time as we're just not ready to pull the trigger just yet. I asked for a card or leave behind as we aren't ready yet and the rep told me he doesn't have any "due to COVID" (as he says this maskless w/in 6ft of me). He proceeded to continue his pitch numerous times trying to find more and more to chat about, typical of this sales style/program. I reiterated that we're interested but not today. In lieu of a leave behind, I asked he stop by in a couple of weeks and was told no, he can't come back as he's in the neighborhood today. I said, I have a need, I am interested in doing business, asked for more information and was repeatedly told that they didn't have anything unless I could give an email or phone number. Consider he started the conversation by divulging a neighbor using their service (not sure if they are even real or not), I didn't feel comfortable giving my information to them. It was a frustrating conversation and a shame that the strict adherence to the sales program didn't allow for the furthering of the conversation in a way that worked for me. It's unlikely I'll be doing business with Joshua's at this point in time.

So, sales rep came to door. We are in the middle of renovations and explained this multiple times to the rep. We were not interested in recurring services at least for 3-6 months. After a few minutes he showed us his appointment book and said can I give you a one time service for $29 since they can't go in the house, in the back yard, and really only the front. He said they would remove 1 wasp nest *which there wasn't any* and do a perimeter spray and leave some bait boxes. Wanting this young guy a sale I said fine. He stated it would be a one time.to.fill the last spot and if we liked what they did we can call them to sign up for.service. I signed for the one time.service and said to pay for the service up front. Which I'm fine with. He said the paper work will say the amount it would be if we called into add service. Well looking further into it, he put us into a year contract! Lied to get the sale. I have been calling for nearly 2 weeks no answer no call back. The tech was here for 15 minutes 20 minutes. I'm reading if I cancel this contract I will be charged the remainder of the 239.00 initial fee. Which either way they couldn't do, the inside and back yard are torn apart. Did not step foot inside, and did not step off my patio. If I do not here back I will be sending agreement to my.lawyer, and filing disputes with my credit card and bbb and whoever else. They lie to get the sale and supposed to come out with in 24 hrs if you see a bug but you can't reach anyone at the office! Edit to add Office finally called back and apologized for the salesman and closed the account. If we decide to move forward in the future we will still consider joshuas.

I liked his earnestness and willingness to hustle. He was doing service for my across the street neighbor and give me a good discount to do the first service. I am concerned with the service I received. 2 Service Techs showed up at my door to work. They spent about 5 mins at most working and then spent 15 - 20 mins sitting in the truck in front of my house. All I saw them do was clean around the eaves, I'm not sure they sprayed because only one tech passed by my window one time. Previous service seemed more involved.

Charlie and Sam where here ahead of time, not inconveniently, but professionally. "If you're on time you're late, if you're early you're on time" as my boss says. The service was quick. Completed in about 20 minutes. Leaving 5 stars based on this alone, will have to determine results and value over the next year of service. If our spiders, ants and stink bugs disappear, I will full heartedly support Joshua's. However if the issue persists, I will likely find a different company. Let's hope all goes well. The technician have sprayed the outside of my home multiple times throughout the summer. They send an email letting me know when they would be out and have always been timely. I have two dogs and was a little nervous at first about chemicals, but they assured me they were non-toxic and there have been no ill effects. I leave my patio door open so my dogs can go in and out, and I have not had one, not one mosquito in my house or in my backyard. I also used to get wasp nests under the eaves and none this year. I am thrilled with their service, as well as the politeness of the techs I have met.

Ben informed me about what he was going to do get rid of the ants. He was knowledgeable on the topic, polite, and did not mind all of the questions I had. He also said to call him if I have more questions, and that he would help take care of issues should they arise. I am not sure how well the service will get rid of our ants but we shall see soon.
