I want to preface this review to say it’s only 5 stars because of our most recent technician - Kirk (or “Captain Kirk” as he put it) We had a great initial experience with YPC and signed up for their contracted service. I was told that ever so often a technician would do a “walk around” of the property to ensure things were going well. Imagine my shock when I began seeing mice - and for our latest technician to identify major vulnerabilities in our exterior wall! Thanks to Kirk I’m continuing on as a happy customer but definitely almost went the other direction.

We used Yankee Pest Control for Mice, Roach and Squirrel control over a period of 10 years on and off, and were happy with the services every time. Whenever we needed to reschedule last minute due to tenant's change in availability last minute, their office was always able to accommodate us without an issue. Louise in the office was always very friendly and patient. We also liked most of the spray technicians from different times, but the one from today, Dennis McCn was the Best! He was very patient and pleasant, we made some jokes and even had a few laughs and that made all the difference in the visit!

First, our Technician Jason showed up in time frame we were expecting and upon arrival he completed an initial inspection. He then explained what he was seeing and how he intended to treat the affected areas. After he completed application, he took the time to answer all of our questions and also provided recommendations based on observations around our property to avoid other types of issues down the road. Most importantly, Jason represented Yankee Pest Control in a professional, knowledgeable and respectful manner. In 2022 it is great to see Customer Service be a priority for a company and their employees!

Yankee Pest Control has been a wonderful company to work with since buying our first home. It's an old home, build 1900, and we unfortunately came across evidence of rodents after we purchased and YPC was recommended by a friend. Galvin, the owner, came out soon after I called to investigate the problem. He made some recommendations of things I could do myself to help with the problem and the set me up on their yearly pest control program (which is very reasonably priced). After I set up the program, Johnny, a technician was out at our place and did a thorough investigation of the exterior and interior of the foundation and filled a few holes he found to keep rodents out. He set up bait stations and traps, and then sprayed around the house to keep bugs out as well. Johnny explained everything really well along the way and let me know things to keep an eye out for. He came back a few weeks later to assess for any rodent activity. Johnny was also super enthusiastic about his job and seemed to really care about keeping our home free of pests. One of the exterior traps did end up catching something a few weeks later, and I called YPC to see if they could take care of it. Within 15 minutes, Dennis was out at our place and dealt with the issue. He also went above and beyond and fixed some problems he found with our garage to further keep rodents out. He was also a really nice guy who seemed to really enjoy his job and care about helping out his customers. I would also be remiss to leave out all the folks I've talked to on the phone along the way. They have been very helpful and kind. It's weird to say about a pest control company, but these guys have been a big blessing for our family since moving into our new (old) home. They have really given us peace of mind.

From start to finish, dealing with YPC was a breeze. I dealt with a few nice ladies in the front office when setting up my appointment. When the time came, I needed to speak with the technician because I was running late due to children! They got me in contact with my technician, Dennis. I gave Dennis the review of my issues that I was running into with rodents. He followed up with me every step of the way and came up with a plan to effectively handle the job. I wish his level of professionalism was common these days, unfortunately it’s not what I’ve found. He even contacted Galvin the owner because he came across a rare issue with my property. Galvin assisted without missing a beat. Dennis has even followed up with me since telling me exact times and dates for follow ups I should expect. It’s a breath of fresh air dealing with someone so confident and knowledgeable considering the anxiety I have around this subject. I highly recommend.

Dennis from the Yankee Pest Control came for a preventative service. He was right on time, inspected the kitchen, basement and garage area and left some traps to be able to track activity if any. Sprayed outside in the back and front. Found a hole/hollow area near the sidesteps and sealed it with foam as a preventative measure. He also explained all the activities that he was doing and why. John Moruzzi was terrific. I had just purchased my “new” house and was shocked to find traces of mice. Then came the ants and a nest of bees in an opening in the house. And crewed wood from termites at one time. He was clear and professional, didn’t try to sell me anything but just fix my problem. With knowing the history of termite activity, Carpenter ants and mice getting in I had to do something. Yankee was recommended by a home inspector-I only had inspection done after buying it. I was not inconvenienced at all. John arrived on schedule and completed the job as efficiently as he did his thorough inspection. I called Yankee Pest Control because we saw some activity in our back yard. We've had a contract with them for a few years now and as always they are professional, prompt and courteous. Quite often we don't even meet them there. They stop by complete their work and leave. You then get an email detailing the visit complete with recommendations. This visit I asked to meet the technician so I could ask a few questions because I am clueless regarding this entire process. My appointment was at noon and Dennis called me at 11:20 saying he'd be there shortly. He arrived before 11:30 and texted me that he was on site. I went out to meet him and I have to say I am beyond pleased that I did. Dennis was great! He answered every stupid question I had with a smile and made a couple of great suggestions that I certainly appreciate. Used them for mice issue in the house. They put traps down inside house and look to see if there’s any gaps along the house where they can be getting in. They come every couple months to check the traps to see what bait was eaten and to refill the traps with new bait. But after having this issue a couple times with mice and using them I realize anyone can put their own traps down and look for gaps along your house. In a way you don’t need them for this issue. Kind of waist of money. They didn’t notice any gaps and said they could come in from the tiniest hole. The mice kept coming in our house every year. Will use my own traps for this issue going forward. They do a thorough check of your home though.

Dennis the yankee pest control technician was very professional and extremely thorough with finding all available penetrations the varmints were entering our house and took over an hour using steel wool and a foam sealant to plug these holes, he then continued to install baited traps throughout the basement, 1st and 2nd floors. We have been having an on again, off again issue with mice in our home. We had 3 pest control companies come to our home in the past 2 years. Each time, a technician would come to our home, inspect the outside of our house for entry points which they could not find. They would set traps inside, catch some mice. We would contract with the company. Things would settle down; no more mice evidence for a few weeks, sometimes for a few months...then, they come back. John at Yankee Pest Control was the first technician that found where the issue was coming from. He found some small holes around 2 basement windows that he thought might be a point of entry but was suspicious of a crawl space under our closed in front porch. John made some suggestions on how to approach getting under there and checking for holes and he sure did find not only one large hole but some smaller ones and much evidence of mice coming and going. We are so pleased with the professionalism of this company. John is the best when it comes to persistence in finding the source of the problem. He temporarily plugged the holes, which he is pretty certain were the points of entry, and gave us some suggestions on how to make our home less appealing to those pesky critters. We have been working with Yankee for about 2 weeks so far and we are very pleased and strongly recommend them for rodent control.

Yankee has been awesome! I can't think of anything they could do better. They took the time to really explain what was going on at the initial inspection and exactly how they were planning to address the issues. Also, with a pregnant wife at home, they go the extra mile to make sure treatments are safe and worked around our schedules. We've seen a huge improvement across the board with less mice, ants, and mosquitoes, making our home a more enjoyable place to be. Chris from Yankee Pest came out after we saw a few mice in the house. He checked the traps from a year earlier and saw that all the bait was gone. He reset the bait and added a few more traps. He also looked outside and found the tunnel the mice were using to get into the house. He recommended a solution and will come out on two weeks to check the bait and see if the mice are still around. Great service today!

He emptied an old trap in the bushes near our house that had caught a squirrel, and most importantly, he treated the exterior of our home for ants and other crawling insects. He reviewed our contract terms with me and clearly explained that they would treat our home again next fall, and that they would return as needed for any more pest problems during the year. They treated 2 buildings each with 15 units withing 45 min. We communicated about the issue to their office, however their response was not satisfactory. So, we wrote review and email to the office. Rich was prompt on the scheduled appointment, very courteous, and helped me and my husband understand what was the underlying issues causes that caused a carpenter ant infestation. He not only set up a treatment program of traps, dusting, and baits but made us aware of home issues (leaky gutters and water seepage) that were making the conditions ideal for the ants. I couldn't recommend YPC more! live in Weymouth and have had both mice and mosquito issues addressed by them. We had a great exterminator, named Rick who was polite, courteous, and best of all cautious about chemicals around my 3 children. Our mouse problem was resolved in days with Rich checking back in... Bonus was catching a mole who had also found his way in!!! As for Mosquitos, we had a problem two summers ago (2014) and even with having a professional spray we couldn't be outside in our own yard after 10:30 in the morning because my 4 yo would be covered in bug bites by lunch!! Last year, summer 2015, YPC (Rick specifically) came and sprayed twice and we enjoyed our backyard with less than 5 bites the whole summer!!!
